He took everything from her … and she found the only thing she ever really needed. For Alisse Southwick, the problem wasn’t just the musclebound 8 foot tall alien who’d taken her from everything she’d ever known. No, the problem was she was seriously contemplating trading the knowledge that unlocked the secrets of the universe in exchange for her freedom — sexual and otherwise. She was a woman of … sexual and otherwise. She was a woman of science, yes, but why did the alien holding her captive have to look like something out of her darkest wet dreams?
From the moment he’d set eyes on her, Lukanos knew only one thing: he had to have her. But there was one minor problem — she was a human. To even show himself to a human — let alone abducting one — was against every law of his people. But each time he looked at her, those sparkling, keen eyes, the long, sable hair, and the lush, shapely body human females were notorious — and celebrated — for, his resolve to follow the law, to obey his people’s sacred Directive, was in serious danger of crumbling. He knew he wasn’t supposed to want her — but he knew somehow, someway, she would be his — whether she was ready for it or not.
Taking a human being was much more than an abduction though — it was a taboo act. Fearing he’d lose more than his commission in the Survey Corps, Lukanos quickly learned he was far from the only one of his people obsessed with human females. He wasn’t the only one keeping a female slave.
The repercussions for capturing humans were serious, but Lukanos was prepared to endure them. He’d endure almost anything to make the gorgeous human his, in every way.
But what’s a captor supposed to do when he begins to fall for his captive? Does he keep her as the only thing she’ll ever be on his world — a sexual plaything? Or must he — for the first time in his life — do the right thing?

I read the shorter version before as part of Bound,Spanked and Loved, but this…..i’m glad Trent took the story by the hand and delved deeper,so much deeper….As a fan,i know the magic Trent creates and let me just say he delivers yet again. Even in space, owning a sweet human woman is a dream come true for this hotblooded alien. Exploring their dynamic, finding out how their bond deepens…like i said, pure magic!
If you enjoy sci fi BDSM romantic erotica, I think you’ll love this book. I did.
The Yaanfahr Lieutenant’s Temptation
This is a 24/7 master /slave, dark, erotic, power exchange relationship. I wouldn’t call most of it romance.
Tall, handsome, alien Lieutenant Lukanos, is a member of the Yaanfahr Survey team watching certain humans on earth. Lukanos is watching a woman scientist, Alisse, and becoming obsessed with her. So obsessed, he manages to steal her but he’s caught by his superior. After a slap on the hand by Admiral Kosha, he takes her to hide her away in his home on Yaanfahr.
The Yaanfahr are a superior race, evolutionary wise. They have superior technology, superior strength and size compared to humans. But, somewhere along The way, they lost their humanity, if they ever had any. They are a cruel, male dominated, patrician race. Males are the only sex that matters.
Females are merely vessels to be used for the pleasure of males, be it for cruelty or sexual release, and the procreation of children.
Into this Alien and Foreign world, Alisse is brought by Lukanos, naked, afraid, dominated, cruelly treated, beaten and spanked to bruising, utterly humiliated and unable to communicate or to know what is expected of her.
Stripped of Her clothing and humanity, Alisse is treated like an animal and a prisoner. She is bound, gagged, sexually tormented, and hidden from Yaanfahr society, because owning her, possessing her, is highly illegal. Many high officials are looking the other way, though, and there is a growing underground society of owners of human women slaves.
Most of the book is depressingly hopeless for the captive, Alisse. Somehow, the author has Alisse begin to crave her captor, crave his cruelty, because once in a while, Lukanos does have a small shred of decency trying to break out of his otherwise completely cruel, self centered, arrogant personality. Is there enough to give Alisse hope?
The book is well written, overall showing a depressing, broken, pompous, alien society that must change to survive. In that respect, the book has a moral message to convey. Getting there is tough, sometimes even sickening. This was a hard read, but I know it’s meant to be that way.
Somehow this author always makes me feel ok with absolutely twisted scenarios, which allows me to enjoy them. Only pick up if you are ok with capture fantasies however.
What may have started as one aliens obsession with a female human slowly evolved into something deeper. Lukanos was intrigued by Alisse. His desires were deeper, darker, intense for her. He studied her, stalked her, captured her, and wooed her. This is definitely not your typical love story, but Lukanos was able to tap into Alisse’s shameful desires and give her what she wanted. Needed. Craved.
I read and reviewed a copy of this book.
Abduction (but no little grey guys), dominant alpha alien, total power exchange. Delightfully kinky sci fi read.
Not my style of reading. I tried to keep an open mind, but I considered it highly abusive and degrading to women.
I didn’t like it at all, I forced myself to finish it because I don’t like to leave it half finished.
Great book!
don’t
This is the first book in the Terran Captives Books, but it actually takes place about 20 years after The Yielding of Rose. Lukanos is taken by Alisse and takes her with him to his home planet. What is different about this book is that Alisse is given a choice. Come with him or go back home.
What follows is a journey of two beings. One into submission and all the feeling and struggles that come with that. Her darkest desires are awakened. And for Lukanos the thrill and excitement of having a human, but he is not sure what to do with himself as he starts to feel more. The story has some dark elements, but isn’t as dark of some of Trent Evans other books. It is also sensual and full of BDSM elements.
