Overall this book meet my expectations.
I voluntarily read an advance reader copy of this book and my opinion are my own.
This is Sabine’s story and she is full of spit & vinegar and it’s hilarious. Raised in a house where her stepfather beat her mother & raped her older sister, Sabine has sworn off love. Her magic runs true though and she soon finds herself coerced into helping one of the Alpha’s. What transpires through this story keeps you turning pages as the author weaves her tale of wonder. Its so much fun you want to read the next one to see what happens to her sisters.

The main female character`s story is set apart from that of her sisters by the fact that she had been stalked by the dark main male character for quite some time. Sabina accepts their way of life and adapts to her new situation, however, she is not happy with her living situation. She is exceedingly independent and has long ingrained ideals for herself. Over time she comes to understand that giving herself in a relationship that is loving and supportive will only add to her well-being and not subsume her sense of self. Good story. All kinds of elements involved in this tale: drama, romance, sensual scenes, magic, fantasy, action and adventure. Enough to please myriad of readers.

Highly entertaining, sexy, action packed, emotional romantic journey filled with danger, mystery, magic, family issues and raging passion….. Loved every heart pounding twist and turn in this hard to put down adventure that was a quick and gratifying experience.
Similar Yet Different Enough
Sabine has a similar story to her sister Brenna’s. It’s a different pack, different cave, different love interests, different method of acquisition, and she can talk and truly sass back but it’s still very similar. Even with the similarities, it’s a smokin’ hot read with Maddox and Ragnvald laying claim to the “little witch,” as she’s affectionately called.
I like that we get to see Brenna and her men, even if only briefly. I also enjoyed the audio, in addition to the text, with Robert Ross forging ahead. His accent really does things for me.
So, I mentioned Brenna’s story. You don’t need to read it to enjoy this installment to the series but some aspects will make more sense if you do.
Story: 3.5 stars
Narration: 3.5 stars
Another woman challenged by two wolf shifters. This is a fun and Hot series.
Standalone with no cliffhangers.
She wandered to far from her home and was taken. Now she has to heal the alpha or her and her sisters will never be free again, but does she truly want that?
I love how strong she is and what her men are willing to do for her.
I listened to this on Audible.
A really enjoyable read, hot, steamy, and just the right amount of tension by Lee Savino. Sabine had a distinctly different tale of finding her place amongst a rival Berserkers clan than her sister did. I can’t wait to read the next one and see what happens.
Sabine is taken by Maddox. This is something they grapple with throughout the book. Ragnvald is saved by Sabine. This book is about forgiveness, and realizing true love is unconditional.

I really enjoyed the book with it’s erotic scenes and unexpected romance.
It’s a twistc of fate story. And yes the ending was fun.
Sabine is Brenna’s younger sister, and older sister to the twins, Muriel and Fleur . She’s considered the loveliest woman in the village, and a healer of increasing power. Her herbs are sought after by noblemen and peasant alike. On the night of the full moon as she was stepping into the lake in the forest.
Maddox has kidnapped her. Maddox and Ragnvald have a bond closer than brothers. Unfortunately, Ragnvald’s beast had overtaken him several months back and now he’s in wolf form. Maddox believes he still has enough humanity left in him to make a difference and can be saved, convinced Sabine is the only one who can do so.
I am so hooked on this series. Lee Savino once again shows the strength of personalities amongst her characters. Love, fear, insecurities, all run the gambit while fate leads in this remarkable storyline. You won’t want to miss this.

This is Sabine’s story. Maddox ends up taking her to help his friend and alpha. He was close to the beserker rage more wolf than man. He thinks Sabine is a witch and took her to help his friend. She works to gain his trust and trys to make him feel human again. But she worries about her sisters.
would read again & recommend
While I liked this book and I found the characters & world they inhabit interesting I found myself wishing for a little more development of both. I realize this is a stand alone novella however. Having read the previous two books (Sold & Mated) I guess I was hoping for the greater immersion in their world.
This is still a very good book. Just wish it was longer.
Clever idea for the series and a fun, snack-read.
I enjoyed this book and the rest of the books in the series. An interesting take on the berserkers.
I was not a fan. Some scenes could have been expanded and made more clear. I also did not agree with the heroines point of view on discipline that she received from her heroesand vice versa. I have no problem reading BDSM, I just felt it was poorly done.
Poorly written and I didn’t even want the heroin to be happy because she was so flat as a character. I honestly didn’t get very far before I stopped reading because I just didn’t care and wasn’t invested in the story at all.
