I have graded each book separately and then averaged out the score for the review. Now, this should have a warning in the start about kidnapping but otherwise these are for the most part very clean books!
They are a different take on vampires that could actually exist in this day and age/ Which makes you think hard are they here and we just don’t know it?
Live or Die – 5 Stars
This starts out action packed fast paced and so funny in some parts and for the most part a VERY clean read! It has action which can be slightly bloody, but no real fight.
It simply amazed me and kept me wanting to read more and more. It is a full book with no cliff hanger. A dream of a book!

The Blood King – 5 Stars
This is another absolutely dream of a read! From action to to love. But the author has a HUGE mistake a good bit into the story. Right after she slices the king, she has him demanding a kiss.. then right after that she is walking in the enclosed garden. So we jump from a bed scene to a garden..
Even with that mistake the story still grips you and keeps you reading. I can’t sleep due to the king and her fighting in my head. This is a shorter story that runs right along with Live or Die. Now it runs till the wolves attack then it ends. It has no cliff hanger, but a tad disappointing as I would have loved the story to run the whole way with the first story.

The Warrior’s Woman – 5 Stars
While this one starts out with the kidnapping, it goes into what scars are left behind when past damage has been done to a person from rape and a physical attack. So, you have the author taking this story and twisting the reaction so that it feels like your own terror. This story will drag you under and keep you there at times with tears in your eyes.
Now this story does add in a few twists you do not see coming from the other two books. Which only enhances the plot of the other books. They are a complicated twisting set of books that just makes you want to come back for the next one.

The Seer’s Strength – 3 Stars
Well this one was more of a short story, did not take much to finish it and only goes as far as the attack. Which was a disappointment.
While I understand the authors thoughts on twisting this story only so far it really had no surprise twists, just from the younger sisters point of view. While it is well written it was missing something. A tad to sweet, to bland absolutely no fire in this story.

On a side note:
I hope this author takes the time to write the stories for Kindra and the demon. Along with Jierra’s story and Aodhan’s sister Aureliana they deserve it. How about Becca, Matthuin, and the unknown aunt? I know they are not real but darn it they feel real and I would so love to know what happened to them.
