Rose
Revenge is a dish best served cold
The best revenge is being me until I’m old
The past is in the past, where it belongs
Let’s leave it alone, can’t right those wrongs
I’ve paid the price, pay dearly every day
No need to hurt me, I’m hurting anyway
I’ll pay for what I did, with my heart and soul
Will you take me down, is that your goal?
Take You is the first in the Boys of Trinity Hall Duet, and is book 4 of the Boys of Trinity Hall series. This dark college bully romance should be followed by reading Make You, which is the second book in the duet, and book 5 in the series. Neither book in the duet can be read without the other.
These two DARK and angsty books make up an inter-connected stand-alone story within the Boys of Trinity Hall Series, and therefore can be read without reading the previous explosive books. However, for the best reading experience, it is recommended to first read books 1-3, starting with Break You.

Oh my God! I swear this author is trying to kill me!!
The evil, evil woman. What she puts her characters up to. This story will leave you hanging and utterly breathless! Damn you MV Ellis!!
Though this is the fourth book in The Trinity Hall series, and the first of a duet with the fifth story to come, it is essentially a standalone.
But you will definitely get a better feel for this world and these characters, by having already the first three stories. And that in itself is no chore. They are all stellar reads.
This series is compelling and mind-blowing in it’s boldness. The characters are ruthless in their goals, with their love and how they choose to take it.
And in this instalment ‘Take’ is exactly what this story is all about.
They take liberties, possession, revenge and love.
This is a dangerous and electric dance between three intriguing, impassioned young people whose interactions send such vivid sparks off the page, it can only end in one way…
A gut wrenching cliff hanger that will have you cursing this author and clawing for the conclusion.
Don’t say I didn’t warn you! Enjoy!!
This is the first book in the Trinity Hall duet and cannot be read as a standalone. This is the fourth book in the Trinity Hall series. I have not read the other three books, and when other characters and events were mentioned, I found myself wishing I knew the backstory. (I will definitely read the other 3 books after this).
This book is all about secrets and revenge.
Fox and Kane have been best friends for the last six years. They share a strong brotherly bond. Their loyalty to one another is very strong.
Rose is the new girl trying to escape her past. She is quiet and tries to mind her own business.
This book has secrets, humiliation, revenge, steamy scenes, and so much more.
I cannot wait for book two with that cliffhanger. I NEED to know what happens!!!

Wow! This was an intense book! I mean I get why Fox is the way he is, but still crazy is still crazy! And Kane needs to use his own brain. And Rose. Sigh. I feel so badly for them all! There is so much intrigue and craziness surrounding this story, that I couldn’t put ti down until I finished reading it!. And I am so excited the second book is out for ARC now as I am going to read it next!
I received a free advanced review copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a fair and honest review.
Engrossing ANGST filled read!
A page turning angst filled Read with yummy hot steam filled chemistry that will definitely keep you on edge right till the jaw dropping ending that makes this a must read .
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. Fox, Kane and Annie start out not knowing one another. Kane “accidentally” bangs into Annie and this starts the ball rolling for a unscrupulous plan that may leave Annie with a broken heart and no trust.
M. V. ELLIS DOES IT AGAIN. Take you is another great book in the Boys of Trinity Hall. I love how this series revolves around the guys wanting revenge. So here we have Fox who is smart, good looking, and harbors a secret. Then you have Kane who has been friends with Fox for a while. Kane is a ride or die friend. However, his friendships seems to be pushed to the limits in Take You. This book slowly gives you bits and pieces of the past and why the revenge plot is in motion. Lets meet Rose, she is shy and wants to keep to herself. However, one day her world turns upside down. So when she meets Kane its an instant attraction and fast burn. After she meets Kane everything changes. This is one intense, and mysterious book and I cannot wait for the next because the ENDING KILLED ME!!

Holy. Wow.
This book sunk me in and didn’t let go.
Twists, turns, bullying and revenge all rolled into a epic story.
Kane and Fox were damn. They had this coy vibe with enough cockiness and shared passion that they captivated you from start to finish.
That ending. Mind blown.. I need the next book.
A story full of hate, hotness, angst and depth.
Fox and Kane will have you spell bound in this delcious yet twisted story about one mans journey to find revenge.
Well…. it’s taken me a while to get over the shock of that ending.
To say I was gobsmacked would be an understatement!
This book is absolutely – without a doubt – devilishly delicious.
Steamy, brutal, heartbreaking… all the things that make a fantastic and gripping read.
*insert gif of Homer shaking his hands saying “hurry up”*
Hanging out for Book Two!
This is the 4th book in this amazing series and is the 1st in a duet. Kane, Rose, and Fox have a past and while Kane and Fox know who Rose is, she does not recognize them until an unconventional revenge plot does not go to plan. Fox knows what he wants which is revenge, and he is determined that nothing will stand in his path of destruction. This is a well written tale which is intense, raw, gritty, emotional, intrigue, and with secrets, revenge, surprises, twists, which all lead to an addictive page turner and a steamy read. The ending of this book is mind-blowing, and I cannot wait to read the 2nd past of this amazing story. I highly recommend this gifted authors’ work for all.
This was a 4.5 Read
Mission… to get rid of the competition for the scholarship.
Fox needs Rose gone and Kane is more than willing to help.
But what happens when one of the, is out of sync with the plan?
After an unconventional revenge plot is put into effect not everything goes as planned.
This book has it all…angst, intrigue, secrets, romance and hot sex.
Can feelings be allowed to get in the way if it is all to succeed?
This story has a total WTF twist and I was left gobsmacked.
It also has an OMG cliffhanger ending.
I need the next book now

The Boys of Trinity Hall are full of surprises which sometimes makes me squeamish. Fox’s fellowship is being threatened and, in his quest, to find out who is getting part of the funds, he finds someone from his past that left a mark on his spirit and soul. Enlisting his best friend Kane, he executes his plan of revenge. Rose has transferred to Heathcote and is working hard to keep her grades up while trying to fund school. When images from her past take over one of her class lectures, she isn’t sure what to think. When she literally runs into Kane, she finds herself making her first friend on campus. Kane is focused on the plan with Fox but his interactions with Rose don’t fit the girl Fox describes. I’m on a huge cliff from the ending of this story and anxiously needing book 2 so that my heart can know what is instore for Fox, Kane and Rose. I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.
BOOM!!! Here we go! I did not see that ending coming.
Talk about a plot thickens.
Take You is Book 4 in the Trinity Hall series and I have loved these guys Kane and Fox; they have been fantastic side characters in previous books. These two friends are so tight, close just like brothers, and I’ve laughed at their antics along the way. Here we have Fox in a situation that Kane is only too willing to help him with. It involves the beautiful Rose who has just transferred to their college with the help of some shared fellowship funds that Fox desperately needs himself.
Rose is escaping her old life as Tabitha, trying to move forward, she is new to the college and very guarded but Kane manages to work his magic and befriend her, there is serious chemistry here and these two get hot and heavy then with the introduction of Fox things turned even more heated, steamy menage territory. All part of the ingenious plan, except for the part where Kane becomes enamored by her. Feelings he tries his hardest to reject through loyalty to his best friend.
“There on my knees before her, on the floor of the shower, with the water cascading over me, I was the one who handed over my soul.”
“I was going to hell, and I was okay with that, given that Rose had already ridden me all the way to heaven.”
This was another of MV Eliis cleverly written books, I always look out for her creative venue names and I love the banter between the friends, Xavier was still in fine form.
Right from the prologue I was invested and intrigued. There is a twist to this bully romance, and we see a more calculating darker side of Fox, one that keeps you on edge, wondering where it leads. I’m really looking forward to the sequel as there is one hell of a cliffhanger.
Ho… lee… wow… If you love a book with bullying, revenge, angst, and suspense, then do NOT sleep on this book.
Fox is out for revenge. He wants some serious revenge for something traumatic that happened to someone he loves. He sets his sights on Rose when she shows at his school threatening his half of the Fellowship money. The level of loyalty in this book was off the charts. The loyalty of Kane to Fox and the loyalty of Rose to her little sister.
I absolutely loved the relationship between Kane and Fox in this book. I did not give this book 5 stars because it took me a while to get into the book. I found the beginning stages of Rose and Kane’s relationship a bit bland and awkward, but once I got into it I could not put it down. The mistake I made with this book was finishing it right before I went to bed. I could not go to sleep because my mind was still turning.
I cannot wait for the second book in this duet. I HAVE to know what happens!!
This was my first book by this author. I am looking forward to reading more!

This book is intense, gritty and maddening! There’s no place for innocence with Kane and Fox, and Rose seems to have fallen into place at exactly the wrong time. These guys are devious and manipulative and this girl will have no idea what hit her when they get done with her. The three of them share a past and unfortunately for Rose she doesn’t recognize her new “friends”. This book is full of surprises and will keep you guessing all the way through.
“You’re going to kill your rival for a college Fellowship fund? Jesus, Fox, that’s a little excessive.”
Holy hell! Ms Ellis has pulled another one out of the hat. I honestly don’t know how she releases one phenomenal book after another. I’m seriously in awe of her. Just between you and me I stayed home from work today to read this and I’m so not sorry. Thankfully I have acrylic nails, if I didn’t they’d be bitten down until they were bleeding. I was unable to put it down for a second. The plot is devious, delicious, hot and steamy, with a twist I didn’t see coming and I loved every single word. I’m zipping up now because you need to experience Fox for yourself, so no spoilers from me. Grab a copy, take a seat, buckle up and enjoy. When is Make You being released, I need it today please.
Let me make this really simple for you, do not hesitate. Download. This. Book. Now. I read it in one day and could not put it down! Loyalty, revenge, steam, tension, more steam, suspense – Ms. Ellis has a way with words that draws you into the story, causing you to feel the various arrays of emotions that Fox, Kane and Rose are experiencing. Hold on tight, though, because you are in for one wild ride!
