All I wanted to do was love her. I couldn’t break her when she’d finally been put back together . . . when she was finally mine.I was a coward, a bigger a*hole than her ex-husband, a more selfish prck than her brother. But London didn’t know that. She only saw me as the man who would give her the world, the man who owned her heart. And even though the confession burned the tip of my tongue and … the confession burned the tip of my tongue and begged to be spit out and set free, I couldn’t do it.
Not yet . . . I needed to hold on to this lie for just a little while longer to keep her safe.

This book is everything I look for in a book. Characters I love, characters you want to reach in and strangle, emotions; the good and the bad!! I will admit I threw my phone down while reading this one. I screamed NOOOOO a few times in my head also.
I have loved Sam since the first page in book one. Something about him just called to me. He once again didn’t disappoint me. He was everything a girl needs!! He is the perfect guy!!!
London once again pissed me off. All I can say is Henry really helped London!
Everyone needs a Henry in their lives. That guy was phenomenal. He stepped up and never once had to be asked to help or be there for someone. He just was. It was like he knew when, where and how to be there for support for people.
This book was a great conclusion to The Every Breathe Duet. I would highly recommend these books!!
In this second book in the series, we see how Sam and London’s relationship is working, as well as the surgery to save Ella, London’s mother.
The three months that they spent together before the surgery were pure happiness, and their coexistence only improves with time.
But when London finds herself alone after the surgery and new problems come in the form of Memphis, her brother, and Hunter, her ex-husband, things quickly take an unexpected turn.
Sam will have to prove that his lie was really to protect London as they try to figure out a way to solve Memphis and Hunter problems without anyone else getting hurt in this story.
The end of this story was beautiful, since it proved that love always prevails, regardless of the circumstances.
I highly recommend the reading.
I really wanted to like this book, but I have to admit that I didn’t,at least not as much as the first book. The story took of right where the first book ended, but something just wasn’t right to me. The characters felt so different. And some things in the story were just…pointless.
London got on my nerves more than in the first book, her thoughts and feelings were really immature.
I wanted to liked it,but I really couldn’t.
It was an okay read but nothing more. It just didn’t touched me like the first book did.
Take My Breath Away is the conclusion to this duet but the roller coaster ride isn’t over until the very end. No avoiding the ups and downs in this ride. It gets topsy turvy and goes a bit backwards too.
Take My Breath Away is a friends to lovers, second chance romance. With a blast from the past and a whole lot of…whhaaaaaa? You are going to be busy. If you paid attention in book one you know exactly where this is going but it’s an interesting trip none the less.

I loved this duet! Faith Andrews did a wonderful job of completing this duet!
Take My Breath Away completes the story of London and Sam- with quite a few snags along the way. London’s ex-husband and brother, who had been relatively absent from their lives show up in trouble. As if London doesn’t have enough to worry about, with her mother undergoing a kidney transplant and Sam- her best friend-turned lover- donating his to save her. But things end up the way they were meant to.
There was a lot of drama throughout the book. And I love some good drama, so I loved that! I definitely recommend reading the Every Breath duet!
I’m so thrilled that London got the ending she deserved!! It was the perfect ending for the duet! I’ll not say who she ended up with, but it was exactly what I was hoping for! This book had me on the edge of my seat-I really had no clue what was coming next. Highly recommend this duet!!
Take My Breath Away is the conclusion to the Every Breath Duet. I loved it! It was full of Angst, betrayal, lies and heartache but also Sam and London’s beautiful love story. I seriously loved them together. Their chemistry and connection was amazing. Definitely recommend this duet!
Samuel “Sam” Goodwin continues what started in Every Breath You Take. This means that you can’t start this duet here. It would be like reading the ending first. You will also get a better understanding of what these characters mean to each other. And it shows how patient this man is.
London Monroe has been able to find her happy place with her best friend. I liked how the author was able to keep the flow of the story while Sam was unable to talk to us. London is able to keep us informed with all the goings on – both the good and the bad.
Surgery can be a scary thing – and if you read book one of the duet then you will understand where this is coming from. If you, or a family member, has a procedure coming up you may want to wait until you’re into recovery mode. The scene isn’t written to be frightening but it is very realistic – especially emotionally. But if you’re someone that cannot wait, just remember this is a work of fiction.
One thing I found out was how in sync with one of the characters I must have become. The character said exactly what I was thinking. Totally impressed myself with that one especially when I have never been that in tune before. Of course I can’t say for certain if it was me or because of the author. Make no mistake; this author still had plenty to surprise me with. And not knowing what she had in store for me kept me turning that page – especially after Sam starts talking to me again. Then I had those expectations show up again that I had at the beginning of Every Breath You Take. If I can laugh at the beginning of the Epilogue, the author must have done something right.
I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
Finally the conclusion to Sam and London!!! I seriously didn’t expect the twists in this love story. It was so unexpected and it came out of left field.
Sam and London seem to be having things go their way and they are completely in love. But then her past meets her future and there starts the headache. This story could’ve gone either way. But the twist that came with will have you gasping. Wow…… so many things happened and you wouldn’t know who you’re hurting for. My heart literally went out to all because it was just a mess.
But Sam proved how he will do anything for London and to protect her so of course you cheer for him. Their was a POV that I didn’t expect but it was good to read. The epilogue was funny but so well deserved for both of them.
Yes! Take My Breath Away is a perfectly emotional conclusion for Sam, Hunter, and London! I was just on the edge of my seat during this entire book! Faith Andrews can create this wonderful story to get lost in. Ms. Andrews reminds us what it’s like to live with all our heart but to be disappointed when the other hides something from you… it doesn’t matter if their intentions was pure or not. All that matters is that trust is now lacking.
Take My Breath Away is such a full conclusion. We get to know everything we wanted to know in book one, we find out here in this heart pounding conclusion. This ending… ugh… it just pulled at me, at my heart. It you’re looking for pain and angst, just lies and betrayal… there was so much deception in this book. Now, I almost hurt a bit from this ending… I was held entranced by Every Breath You Take but Take My Breath Away broke my heart a bit. Grab some tissues to read this series! Ms. Andrews goes deep on ya!!
I received an ARC of this book with the hope that I would leave an Unbiased Opinion. I was not required to leave a review, positive or otherwise, and my opinions are just that… my opinions.
This book continues from book 1, Every Breath You Take. This book is told mainly in Sam’s POV, with some of London’s and other characters. Now that Sam and London are together, they finally have a chance at happily ever after. Or do they? London’s ex-husband Hunter and her brother Memphis come back into town, and London is once again shocked and betrayed by a secret told to her by Hunter about Sam. She must endure yet another devastating blow of her faith and trust in another person. Although Hunter had his own secrets, he did what he had to do to keep London safe, and he is determined to win her back.
London has to figure out how to forgive Sam, and she also has to deal with her feelings that have resurfaced for Hunter. This book has drama, suspense, and a roller coaster of emotions from secrets being told. It was a great conclusion and I’m looking forward to the next book!
I voluntarily read an advanced reader’s copy.
“She dug her long fingernails into my scalp, intensifying our kiss and eliciting a fire so intense there was no use trying to extinguish it. No, these were the kind of flames you danced with, the kind that set your soul a blaze.”
The feels!! Jumping back into the story that left me reeling from book 1, I anticipated so many obstacles for Sam and London, but even I didn’t see all this coming. I knew secrets were being held, but I didn’t think they would explode and find our couple that we finally thought would have smooth sailing, but not so much. The war within London seemed endless and I was left wondering desperately what conclusion she would come to once all was revealed.
“Gazing into her honeyed eyes, I opened my heart to her once more. For it was hers, she possessed it fully, infinitely.”
The push/pull, the magnetism, the romance, it just filled me right up and kept me glued. I enjoyed the suspense, the thrills, and the sweet, sweet end. It was a journey worth taking and I’m so glad I was provided a copy to review!!
“I’d known it all along-from the time we were nine-years-old- but this last phase of our lives together only solidified what I was already sure of. London Monroe is the only girl for me.”

An amazing conclusion to this phenomenal duet!
I fell in love with London and Sam in the first book and have been, not so patiently, waiting for the rest of their story. Andrews did not disappoint. She picked up right where the first one left off and gave me a story I didn’t expect but couldn’t help but love.
This one gave me all the feels. Take My Breath Away is full of sweet romance, heart wrenching betrayal, and nail biting suspense that will keep you turning the pages. I read this one in one sitting. I couldn’t put it down because I just needed to know!
If you haven’t read Every Breath You Take you will want to read that one first. Pick up this amazing duet today! You won’t be sorry!
4.5 Stars!!!
After anxiously awaiting this conclusion of the Every Breath duet I was excited to jump into this one! It was the perfect ending to a story that had me flipping pages for each installment. I absolutely LOVED Sam.
If you have not read this duet….pick it up now ~ i’s THAT good!
This is the conclusion of Sam and London’s story. In the first part of this duet Sam and London’s relationship turns from best friends to soul mates. But Sam is keeping a secret from London to protect her…literally. Of course with any couple, the best laid plans go astray. In this conclusion to Sam and London’s story, you just keep wishing for a HEA for these two. People from the past surface, and it complicates things in a big way…ultimately becoming life threatening. But Sam never wavers in his love for London. As she begins to see things clearly, the reader gets the conclusion that they have been waiting for since the end of the first duet. Great story, rich characters with real issues to overcome.
Take My Breath Away by Faith Andrews is book Two in the Every Breath series. This counties the story of London and Sam, so you should read the first book ‘Every Breath You Take’ to fully enjoy this one. This book does pick up where the last one left off. London is dealing with finding out secrets, along with her ex husband and brother putting pressure on her so they can basically get what they want. Sam is dealing with the surgery and the fallout form actions that have been taken.
We see them dealing with their issue and working to get through the pain to find their happy ending.
I have to say London’s character grew on me in this continuation of Every Breath duet.
Her development continued throughout the story. She became a more self assured version of herself compared to the first book (Every Breath You Take).
I liked that I got to know Sam better too, through his POVs I understood his motives and feelings much better. This understanding made me realise what I previously thought of him being meek turned out to be devotion and the deepest love instead. I liked him too.
I hated London’s ex-husband and brother with passion. Hunter’s behaviour was incredibly irresponsible, put a lot of people in harm’s way. He never admitted his wrongdoings, but accused anyone and everyone instead of taking resposibility.
I love having glimpses of the characters’ future so with this epilogue I’m a happy camper.
It was a very entertaining conclusion of the duet with some suspense and exciting twists.
For me it wasn’t a highly emotional, ugly-cry story but I enjoyed it nonetheless. There was just the right amount of conflict, betrayal, deceit, lies, forgiveness, love and romance to make it a very good read.
