Charlotte Bedford left her sleepy little hometown in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains to make a name for herself as a fashion photographer in the Big Apple. She’d craved success and independence, but most of all she’d wanted to be in a place where she wasn’t known as the Bedford girl or Landon Montgomery’s girlfriend. But her life in New York began to take its toll, and she found herself … longing to return to her southern roots in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. What she doesn’t know is the one man she ever really loved had never left.
Landon Montgomery was a southern boy, born and raised. And as much as he’d loved Charlotte, he’d had no desire to follow her to the big city. Instead, he’d stayed behind to help run his family’s business. When Charlotte returns home, he knows they have to reconcile their past if they are to have a future.
The aftermath of a family emergency makes them realize they were meant to be together, but is it already too late?

The first book in The Bedfords series a well written short story that held my interest until the end. Landon and Charlotte had once been a couple, in the Smoky Mountain area of Tennessee. She had left for New York to become a famous photographer and he helped his folks run a group of tourist cabins around Gatlinburg. After two years, she returns home for a much needed break after working so hard nonstop, and breaking off a relationship she had in New York that was not working. Feeling freer than she had in a long time, she runs across her ex boyfriend Landon and keeps crossing paths with him. The characters are wonderful, with intense emotions and great backstories. Stress of a family situation brings them even closer as she does not want to be alone. Their romance rekindles quickly and talk of the future begins again, this time in the right direction. Great story that brought many smiles.

A sweet fantastic heart felt short story. This enjoyable romance was a a quick fast paced standalone read with well developed characters and plot. I voluntarily read and reviewed this ARC.
Sweet second chance romance that also teaches you that it’s ok to come home and sometimes that means more than jus the physical place. Charlotte returns home and the feelings between her and Landon resurface. It’s a short story but heartfelt and I enjoyed reading it. Now I can’t wait for the others in this series.
I volunteered to read and review an advanced readers copy of Take Me Home . It is a wonderful second chance romance . Charlotte Bedford is not pleased with her life in New York . She decides to dump her boyfriend , reschedule her photo shoots and booked a ticket . She heads home for awhile . She never expected to run into Landon Montgomery the man she left behind when she moved to New York and started her photography career . The feelings are still there . When a family medical scare pulls them together . They must decide to either work out a plan or say good bye again . This is a fantastic heart felt story . I highly recommend taking the time to read .

This is book one of The Bedford’s Series and it is Charlotte and Landon’s story. Charlotte has left her home town of Gatlinburg Tennessee to make a name for herself as a photographer in the fashion industry and she has also left behind Landon who is the only man that she has loved. Landon never stopped loving Charlotte but he stayed behind to help run the family business. Then Charlotte returns home but will they be able to move forward and leave the past behind them or not. This is the first book that I have read by this author but definitely not the last as it was so well written and definitely worth reading.

Charlotte is a professional photographer who feels homesick and takes the decision of getting home for a few days.
Landon has been in love with Charlotte forever and in spite of them being separated for two years, for him she is the one. It takes a tragedy to get them together again.
I liked how Landon has thought about all the possibilities for them to be together.
