Take Me Back was a sexy, intense, and suspenseful standalone contemporary romance, and I really loved it! The storyline and characters were amazing, and I loved Meghan March’s writing style. It was simple, flawless, and easy to follow and read. Take Me Back was my first Meghan March novel, and it definitely won’t be the last. Dane and Kat’s story was intriguing and entertaining from beginning to end, and I’m so excited to read more from this author!
Dane and Kat were amazing, and I really enjoyed them and their story. I loved their personalities and red-hot chemistry together, and how their story progressed throughout for the most part. I loved reading the book from both Dane and Kat’s POV, and most of their banter and interactions with each other. I don’t usually read books with suspense elements in them, and it’s been a while since I have, but I honestly loved this one. Take Me Back was fast-paced, intense, and kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. It was definitely a thrilling ride and I enjoyed nearly every moment of it. There were some parts that I didn’t like as much, but it was still an enjoyable and entertaining read from start to finish. Meghan March did an amazing job with every aspect of Take Me Back, and I was very happy with the conclusion to Dane and Kat’s story. It was better than I hoped it would be and made me extremely happy.
Take Me Back was a sexy, suspenseful, and entertaining standalone contemporary romance, and I would highly recommend it! Meghan March did a fantastic job with this book, and I was very pleased with the outcome to Dane and Kat’s story. I’m new to Meghan March, but I truly loved my introduction to her books with Take Me Back, and I can’t wait to read more!
I found this book from a Facebook group that had recommended it as a read for a couple that was already married, but was trying to reconnect and save their marriage. As I get older (yes, I said that, although I don’t feel that way usually), I find myself drawn to books with characters that are more in line with my age, circumstances, and maturity (although don’t get me wrong; I love a good New Adult story). Take Me Back fit those qualifications, and I managed to find a new (to me) author in the process!
Dane and Kat met about two and a half years ago while on vacation. They met up for weekends here and there until they got married on the beach two years ago. But during those two years, their marriage suffered from secrets that they hope they can recover from.
I absolutely loved the first half of this book- getting to understand the characters, seeing the love that they have for each other, while struggling with putting their marriage back together, trying to figure out their secrets so that they can succeed. The second half had a little more action than I generally like in my stories. It was done well, and I liked how it added to the plot, but it seemed a little much for me.
I am so glad that I found this book, and will most definitely be checking out other books by Meghan March!
This book ended up being better than I thought it was going to be. I wasn’t sure I was going to like Kat because how rough their marriage was and her role in its destruction.
I have to say I really enjoyed this book. Dean and Kat’s marriage is in jeopardy, but they both play separate roles to its ruin. Kat shuts down and focuses on her business and ignores her husband. Dean let Kat withdraw from him and holds his own secrets. But they go on vacation to celebrate their wedding anniversary to see if there’s something worth saving.
I really liked Dean. Its clear how much he loves Kat and wants to make things work. He knows Kat so well and is very caring, always putting her before himself. The things Dean is keeping from Kat are very interesting and was a nice twist on the story. I loved Kat willing to change to make things work because she truly loves Dean and I think she didn’t quite realize how her actions affected her marriage. But she fought for him while they were on vacation. So I really liked her in the end.
The story is very interesting and takes a very great turn. Although I feel like some things happened a little too fast, I really enjoyed it nonetheless. Definitely give this book a try.
Excessive use of the word “fucking”, especially in the second half of the book. Un-romantic, cliche ending of her being pregnant. Other than those two flaws, the book was exciting, entertaining and well written. Great story ,if a little too violent, and a sexy hero. Back-up characters were great, too.
Meghan March you absolutely, undeniably and amazingly created the best damn read of 2017! I love ALL your books but this is by far hands down your best one yet. I can’t put into words the emotional roller-coaster I was on while reading this book I couldn’t put it down. It was such a breathtakingly beautiful love story of two people trying to rediscover the love they have for each other that got lost along the way. Each page I turned and every chapter I finished had me hanging on by a thread with the unexpected twists and turns I never saw coming but loving every moment. This book will definitely leave you with a hangover so prepare yourself for a wild, swoon worthy, sexy unexpected but outstanding read!
I love Meghan March’s books. I enjoyed the action and was rooting for Dane and Kat’s happy ending.
