From the very first page I was in love with Liam Parker. I felt like Cinderella watching Heaven and Liam’s relationship bloom. Such a beautiful opposites attract story. The last couple chapters had me reading with tears I my eyes. Definitely going to be continuing the Cockpit Series.
Take Me Away is such a beautiful romance about learning to take care of yourself and put yourself first in all aspects of your life. Liam and Heaven have to overcome several obstacles but eventually loves wins and they get the HEA they so deserve. This book has some great steamy moments, lots of angst, pandas, family drama and so much more! I was intrigued by the Cockpit series from book one and am very much looking forward to learn what happens with the other Parker siblings. This is a MUST read and although this book can be read as a standalone you get more background on the family by starting with Cockpit Christmas which is a wonderful read as well.
The storyline was great and the characters were very likable, believable and engaging! As I turned each and every page Liam and Heaven pulled me right into their story as it flawlessly unfolded!
Take Me Away was a fabulous start to the Cockpit Series! Loved the story line! Crappity crap l adored Liam and Heaven, their journey was full of sweetness and sexy moments! Looking forward to more of the Parker’s!
Liam and Heaven started out on the wrong foot but ended up starting their HEA. He was totally correct in calling her a little sass bomb lol because she brought it every chance she got! She dished just as well as she took it. His family emergency almost cost him what he’d been looking for…his soulmate. Nothing like her plane spazz EVER happens when I fly lol. That would’ve totally made my day!! All I get are crappity-crap middle seats and screaming babies!!

Take Me Away is a love story that will have you soaring high and have your heart at amazing altitudes. Liam and Heaven’s story is one that grabs hold of you and won’t let go. As the seat belt sign lights up you will be strapped in for one amazing flight of passion, desire and love. As Liam tries to navigate the storm of emotions that he has never experienced before it will take every part of his mind, body and soul to finally realize that sometimes you have to put yourself first. These two characters will have your heart experiencing a few turbulent moments causing the tears to flow, but hang on tight because the landing for these two will be spectacular.
Heaven Samson loves Pandas. She worked with them for years in China and now is working to make ends meet while volunteering for the Panda rescue.
Liam Parker is the CEO to Parker Airlines. He’s a workaholic that doesn’t have time for a relationship. At a Parker Airlines function, he meets a sassy waitress that might change his mind.
I loved this first book in the Cockpit series. Liam was a total workaholic and did not want to give that up but was also realizing that he’s not opposed to finding someone to settle with.
Heaven was getting over a bad relationship and wanted to find a way back to China. Her main priority was the Pandas. I loved how she became open to Liam even though she was scared to. I loved her sassy banter. Can’t wait for the next one!
I fell in love with the Parker’s in the Christmas prequel, so to get Liam’s story was such a treat. Him and Heaven are combustible with pop off the page chemistry. We also get more of the sibling banter and family dynamic from Liam’s perspective. He is the oldest and CEO of Parker Airlines, I loved the way he was written and his silent struggles looking for balance with a very high pressure job and trying to live a life. Heaven fits right in, she’s also struggling with herself and they fit for each other! I can’t wait to read about the next brother and see more of this family.

After reading the prequel, I became instantly hooked on the series! This is Liam’s story, the eldest of the Parker siblings. He is devoted to the role he plays as CEO and pilot in his family’s charter airline service and really has no time for a relationship. That is until he meets the spirited and feisty Heaven. Heaven is also not looking for a relationship because of her past experiences. But the attraction between them was crystal clear and their chemistry was amazing. I loved these two together! This was such a satisfying and enjoyable story, I just can’t wait to continue the series and get further acquainted with the Parkers. Wonderful book and amazing start to the series (after the prequel, of course!). Bring on Book 2, please!
I received a complimentary copy from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review.
I like how this one shows that you just can’t throw money at everything and it’ll be alright. That’s what Liam does. Heaven is the opposite. She works hard and is passionate about Pandas. I loved how this described China and the different ways of doing things. Bring on the next brother or sister. I received a free copy of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a honest review.
Rating 4.5 stars!
Received as an ARC and leaving my honest review. If you caught Cockpit Christmas which was the prequel and a peek into the Parker family, you’d know the family love and bond is really strong and their focus on keeping Parker Airlines at the forefront is unmistakeable. All the 5 boys are pilots and their first (and maybe only thus far) love has been flying but mum’s wish at Christmas may just come true.
This story focuses on Liam (the eldest) who is the CEO, and since taking over from dad, he’s brought Parker Airlines further forward, which of cos leaves him little downtime for anything other than work responsibilities. He meets Heaven at a Parker Airlines function where she’s working as a wait staff. They did not have a good first impression but it was a lasting one as both felt an attraction to each other. Heaven has emotional scars leftover from a previous bad relationship and she ran off to China to work with pandas. She’s back in Florida hoping to grow roots but is still continuing her panda rescue work by managing the fundraising efforts.
Liam decides to pursue her and the more time the spend together, the more they start to like each other. But with responsibilities pulling Liam in one direction and Heaven’s vulnerabilites pulling her in the other, will they both realise what’s really important and fight for their HEA?
Loved the flow of the story and the connection and bond of family being at the centre. The build up was nice and easy with no OTT moves so it’s kept sweet and believable. A really sweet, smooth, low angst story with likeable characters and some low to mid sexy steam. The only irk I had were the typos, grammar, and a few wrong names which took off 0.5 stars for me but it’s still a really great read!
This is quickly becoming a new favorite author. This is such a sweet series and I can’t wait to read more.
Liam Parker has devoted his life to family and Parker Airlines, putting his personal life on the back-burner. Then a fiesty woman waitressing at a family event takes him by storm and he quickly realizes his life will never be the same. Until a family emergency changes everything.
Heaven Samson has returned to Florida from China where she spent three years working at her beloved panda reserve until she finally feels she has moved on after the emotional damage her ex caused. But when a gorgeous man desides she needs saving she quickly puts him in his place. If he truly wants to be of help, maybe he should answer his emails.
Once these two stop butting heads they quickly begin to find themselves falling into uncharted territory as neither have ever been in a healthy, stable relationship. But, will love of family pull Liam away from his first chance ever at romantic love?

Liam thought he was doing something nice but gets shot down instead. Heaven has learned that she has to stick up for herself. The authors do a good job in building the world that revolves around our main characters. Part of that world includes some scenes that will get the reader to chuckle at someone else’s expense.
We get to see a young woman who is able to have a job that revolves around her passion. The story has sad moments with obstacles which I think kept me reading. When you hear romance, you want to see the happiness between the main characters and sometimes you just have to patiently wait for that to happen. If you like romantic endings then you will find that the authors deliver. They left me looking forward to finding out what the rest of the story will have in store for me.
I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
This is about Liam Parker the oldest of the Parker clan and CEO of Parker Airlines. Heaven Samson is working as a waitress at the annual Parker thank you client event. He happens to over hear a guy harrassing her and goes to her aide whether she wanted him to or not. Heaven is not impressed and chews him out and tells him he should answer his emails. All she wants is a donation to her beloved Pandas in China where she has been doing research.
Both are relationship challenged so to speak. Liam doesn’t have time and Heaven feels like she is out of his league and her last relationship did a real number on her.
So can he put her first or will his job always be number 1 or will she even give him a chance?
Looking forward to reading about the rest of his siblings.

Alpha CEO of Parker Airlines meets his match. He may know how to maneuver aviation equipment and high power meetings, but a small woman bests him with her panda passion!
Liam and Heaven are both driven by duty and passion. Liam is passionate to serve his family’s business as CEO of the airlines, while Heaven lives to support the Pandas. Both are on linear tracks with slim room for flexibility, let alone giving time to others. A chance encounter has both questioning their life choices and learning that life is more than just dedication to duty.
I really enjoyed this book. The characters were well developed and interesting. I loved Heaven’s best friend and hope she one day makes an appearance. I adore the Parker family. Seeing Liam interact with his brothers and sister, seeing how supportive they are of him, was just endearing. The story had good pacing, and though, while a fast read, does not feel rushed plot wise.
I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
When you finish a book in just a few hours you know it’s a good one! Liam and Heaven’s story was sticky sweet with just enough angst to keep me guessing. I loved that Heaven was strong, sassy and definitely not a pushover. She stood her ground and didn’t let her past dictate her future. I devoured every word as she slowly was able to get the way too serious Liam to let go of his over controlled self and actually live life. Of course the other Parker’s were included in the story which I loved! I can’t wait for the next sibling’s story!
The Parker family is quickly becoming one of my favorite families to read about. I really enjoyed the Christmas novella and was able to dive right into this book, which was awesome. I swooned over Liam from the very beginning – he’s cocky, driven, and a natural leader, but he also has this romantic and soft side that will make you fall for him before you even realize you’ve done it. Then there’s Heaven, who is so spunky and passionate (especially when it comes to pandas) – her character is the perfect complement to Liam, and together, they are one dynamic team. While they go through their ups and downs throughout the book, together, they’re better.
I can’t wait for the next installment in this series!
Liam gives us the “HOLY HOTNESS” that the Parker clan appear to excel at. He has a touch of that cockiness that I feel is probably appropriate in the flight industry as well as being a CEO. Hee hee. I think Heaven deflates that a bit with her real ness and no nonsense attitude.
I love Heaven’s backstory and connections to Pandas in China. The message of finding ones self was beautifully touched upon. Eek SO Good. These two offer the right amount of heat and intrigue to make a perfect story.
What a sweet read, providing the perfect tease to the next Cockpit Novel. I can’t wait for Warren’s story. Wink.
Happy Reading Everyone!
Beautiful. This book was written so wonderfully. Love the characters. Also LOVE pandas.
This story was hard to put down. I love this series. This airline is the best kind. Family. One unit. All individuals and personalities. It takes a wonderful person to make someone melt.
This was a gift from author for a honest review.
