Take Me Anywhere is book #2 in the Cockpit series and I can tell you that this series is getting better and better. We were already in China (in book #1), and now Britney and Clare took us to a beautiful town by the ocean. The town that two people have chosen to be their oasis of peace after having been through a lot in their lives.
I loved Ali and Warren’s story. They were perfect for each other. It was a pleasure to watch how they both helped cure each other’s souls. Their journey to happiness was touching and sexy.
It was a great book. Can’t wait for the next one.
Warren is my guy. I love him! His desire to reinvent himself after a HUGE scare is admirable. His new experiences in small town living is beautiful.
Truthfully, I wasn’t sure about Ali at first. Yes, it was clear that her ex really was a poop head and took her for a ride. I wanted her to have more backbone which probably is not very realistic especially when you get the details of her childhood. (Sob)
I loved how Ali found her way and not with the expectation that Warren would save the day. She didn’t even know who he was. LOVE IT!
Oh am I making it sound like these two don’t connect in all the PERFECT ways? Sorry, cause they bring heat to their love story. (Wink)
Plan for a high adrenaline moment which gave me all kinds of anxiety. That is all I am saying. You need to read the book for that resolution. (Evil laugh)
Maybe the only thing lacking is I wanted more details on the Ex getting his. (Ugh) I believe in karma and I wanted him to get a ration of hurt. Looking at me you probably wouldn’t think I would need so much retribution. (Haha)
Awesome 4.5 star story. Happy Reading Everyone! XOXO
Once again these girls have handed us another sweet romance in a great series.
I’m loving reading about the Parker brothers and loving the different spin on this one.
Warren isn’t perfect. He has run away from everything after a plane crash that hurt him more than just physically.
Ali is running away from her gambling addicted ex husband.
Love the chemistry between these two and although both are running from their past… they still feel the draw to each other.
Can they get over their past to find their HEA.
Great read… love this series.
I was given an ARC but voluntarily chose to review
I just love this Parker family! Both these authors delivered an amazing read! Loved Ali & Warren both dealing with difficult pasts both broken, to come out understanding and just getting one another! Bring on the next Parker!
I enjoyed this story and how Ali and Warren get together. It had a little mystery with the ex situation, new friendship with Warren and Ali and even Jack, plus some romance. Can’t forget that. Glad I had the opportunity to check this story out.
I was glued to my kindle from the very first page with the well written storyline and characters that were so well created that as each and every page was turned I felt like Ali and Warren pulled me right into their journey as it unfolded!
I am just loving this series. We all know how I love family series, following all the brothers and sisters stories. And the Parker family is right up there at the top.
I was happy to get Warren’s story. With what happened to him at the end of book 1, boy did my heart hurt for him. He was so lost and scared. I didn’t know if he would ever be the same again. So for him to go, of all places, Clearwater to “clear” his head, who would have thought that it was gonna be a boat, an old man and a lady that would help him get better.
I was happy to read right off the bat how strong Ali was. For her to take back her life and fix the biggest problem in it, her now ex husband, I just loved that! She was strong and brave enough to get out of that horrible situation. Everything she went through and is trying to get back her life. But Warren wasn’t apart of her 5-year plan. Could she go off track of that plan for him?
This has to be my favorite of the series so far!! I just loved Warren and Ali together. And just everything that went on in this book!

recommendation
I haven’t read the first one yet in this series but it’s not really necessary as you can read it as a standalone. I really enjoyed this story; it was a great romantic read with a few emotional scenes. A great read!
Ali hasn’t been in a good place for a while now and is looking for a fresh new start, away from her past. She’s trying to build up something on her own and is working as a waitress to slowly get back up on her feet. When she meets Warren for the first time, they get off on the wrong foot even though there’s an attraction between them… Warren has been through a rough time and just barely made it out alive, he’s trying to recuperate in the little town. After meeting Ali there’s just something about her worth exploring but it’s not easy to break through her walls. When Ali’s past collides with her present, Warren will do whatever it takes to keep her safe. Will both finally be able to put the past to rest and have a chance to a future together?…
I loved this book! I enjoyed reading how Warren is struggling with his demons from his accident and Ali is always looking over her shoulder scared her ex is going to come back. Warren can see that something is off with Ali, he can see it in how sad her eyes are. He has to prove to Ali that he is different and that he is worth it all. But what will happen if her ex shows up again and what if she still loves him? She has no idea how she truly feels about her ex and that scares her. I loved reading how Warren and Ali come together and how she seems to be helping keep his demons at bay. Loved this book!
I have received a free copy of this book for an honest review.
Take Me Anywhere was about two people who were suffering under self doubt, reservations and expectations. All it took was looking into each others eyes for the inner strength they needed to have fate giving them a helping hand. Their story was one that spoke to my heart, held my soul and had my spirits flying high. Warren and Ali deserved the happiness that was waiting on a sea breeze to be felt by them. These two made my emotions soar and had me captivated by the love that you could feel warming your skin right off the pages. A series that owns my heart a little more with each and every story and couple that is brought to life.
Brand new to me authors. This was almost like 2 separate stories…the before Warren and Ali are together and the after. They both have demons, but coming together is the best for both of them. Great story with low angst and a little drama. Great epilogues And HEA.
Take Me Anywhere is the first book I have read by these authors. I really liked it. I loved Warren and Ali. They were great together!
The second installment in this series did NOT disappoint. Ever since the first book, I was curious to see what happened to Warren, how he had handled what happened before. I loved watching him find himself again, and I cheered him on as he fought his demons and regained his confidence again.
I can say the same for Ali, too – I loved watching her find herself again, and I cheered her on as she figured out who she was, what she wanted, and how to get there. Both characters really fought through tough times and came out better on the other side. The chemistry between them is off the charts, too. They’re fire together and apart.
Thank you to the authors for an advanced copy of this book. I absolutely loved it and am ready for the next installment!
I loved this book! Warren after almost losing his life from crashing his plane has locked himself away from everyone, even his family. Ali has lost everything, and is running away from her ex and starting over. When Warren meets Ali he can see the sadness in her eyes and he wants to prove to her that he’s different. Ali tries to deny her feelings for Warren and does her best to stay away from him. I loved Warren and Ali’s story and how they helped each other overcome their pasts. I love this series and can’t wait for the next book.
Seriously these series are getting better by each book. I have fallen in love with Liam in the first book in “Take Me Away,” but I was smitten with Warren in this story. No, I´ve actually fallen in love with him already in a previous book after his crash. Maybe I was sorry for him then, but I was truly happy he has survived and got his opportunity for HEA. And what a ride it was. The new him is healing from anxiety but also learning new things about life… to live in the moment…to be.
Ali still wears sadness inside of her soul, she is learning to live on her own and without anxiety. When she meets Warren for the first time, she is still jumpy and afraid, yet unbelievably drown to him. They both have their secrets but maybe just maybe they could start kinda relationship yet not one, just being there for the another. Just being “them.” They fall easily in friendship or maybe it´s more.
Find out for yourself. You won´t be disappointed.
Book 2 in the series. Warren story. After suffering an accident, he decides to go away because his family was suffocating him. That tends to happen in a tight family like the Parkers, but they are so amazing, I loved reading more from them.
Warren meets Ali, a shy girl who reminds him of himself. She has her own demos to beat but once she decides to take the chance, she discovers Warren is perfect for her.
It’s a little Instant Love but the story it’s great, it doesn’t feel rush and we get a Happy Ending.
I have received a free ARC in order for a fair and honest review.
C and Britney have done it again! I am in love with the Cockpit Series. If you have read Take Me Away then you know that Warren Parker has lost himself. He has ran away from his family and Parker Airlines. What he doesn’t realize is that he wasn’t running away, he was running to. In comes Ali who is also lost but finds herself with Warren. Warren and Ali make your heart burst and your eyes tear. Just when you think you have lost everything is when you can truly find who you are. Cannot wait for the next installment.
Take Me Anywhere is a fabulous healing read. Warren tries his hardest to walk away from his family business and flying planes. He is just a wonderful man who you can’t help but to love. His way of helping others and focusing on a new hobby just make you melt a little with the way he does it. Ali you can tell is a little skittish when it comes to men. You can’t blame her once you learn her past. Ali and Warren heal each other and in they have this wonderful bond. There is just this chemistry that you can’t deny and love about Warren and Ali. I loved this one so much. I can’t wait for more to come.
Warren and Ali are both trying to escape their pasts and neither of them is ready for the chemistry between them. But with a bit of a push from a kind older man, his wife’s journal, and pasts invading the present, they’re both ready to take the leap of faith to give togetherness a shot.
I’m coming to truly enjoy the Parker family and all of their interfering ways. This series continues to prove that family is always there for each other, no matter what. Or no matter where one’s head may be stuck. Such a family is exactly what Ali needs in her life, but she and Warren have to be completely honest with each other to truly find happy. And when honesty finally wins out, it’s smooth sailing ahead. I’ll be interested to see who finds their HEA next.
Warren Parker is part of the Parker Airlines family. He was piloting one of the planes and crashed, luckily there were no customers on board. After the accident he decided he is getting out of the family business and won’t be a pilot again and takes off to a small beach town to recover. Here he meets Ali, a waitress/bartender who is also trying to recover from her past. There’s chemistry between them but both hold secrets and don’t know if they can trust the other one and they’re both in hiding.
Will the secrets tear them apart or make them stronger? Will Warren’s tight knit family find him, what about Ali’s past, will it catch up to her?
I would have liked more info on Ali’s ex and what happens as well as Warren’s accident.
