4 Becoming the Man He’s Meant to Be Stars!!
Oh Sebastian Knight you are a man that truly evolved throughout this book and I loved every single page of it!! There’s nothing like a family crisis that makes a person re-evaluate who they are and why they are the way they are and leave it to Ashley, the first and last woman that he had real feelings for, returning to New York to show him what his life could be like.
This new series is setup perfectly with the re-coupling of Sebastian and Ashley and oh my goodness, she keeps him on his toes. Don’t get me wrong, there’s some definite anger there, but, their attraction is as strong if not stronger than it was ten years ago….
“She meant something to him. She always had.”
One of the reasons I loved this book so much is because it’s more than a second-chance romance. There’s a bit of suspense too because our H/h need to solve a problem and while working together, they finally give in to their physical draw because there’s just so long that they can deny it. When it does happen it’s HAF!!! I mean, Sebastian definitely knows how to use what he’s been given. But more than that, as they grow closer while trying to solve the problem, our former bad boy decides he wants more than the little time they’ve been given….
“He wanted to see what could be between them now that they were adults. And to do that, he needed her to see the man he believed he could be. One who was willing to go after what he wanted. And what he wanted was Ashley.”
I was totally swooned off my feet with the lengths this man went to to get his girl. And Ashley, well, she wanted it to, but they’re both so damaged inside she wasn’t sure she could love him the way she thought he deserved or that she was capable of. I loved how she really did some soul and though it was a risk on so many levels, the love she had for this man was beyond measurable…..
“The man filled the empty pieces inside her. The man who made her smile when she was sad, who understood her past, who she’d always been able to talk to and confide in.”
What it ultimately comes down to is that these two have fallen hard for each other, again. Will they be able to get past their doubts and insecurities to find their HEA? Ms. Phillips has written a story that introduces us to a new family with men and women that are damaged in so many ways but still believe in love….kind of. I can’t wait to see how hard Parker Knight falls in Take Me Tonight!
Love Carly’s books so hard!!!!!
What a way to start a new series with a second chance romance! Take Me Again from Carly Phillips was a great story which has me ready for the entire series!
Sebastian and Ashley have a not so pleasant past. When Ashley comes home, the last person in the world she wants to see is Sebastian. However, to help a family friend, Ashley is going to see more of Sebastian than she wants to!
This second chance romance was emotional, sexy and captured my attention from the first chapter and I just could not put the book down! I’m very intrigued by the characters that are to come in this series and I can’t wait for more!
I love a good second-chance love story and this one was easy to get lost in! I wanted to know what Sebastian and Ashley were going to find out about the business and what really happened. This was a sweet, endearing read and I recommend it! I’m looking forward to Parker’s story next!
This author always knows how to write a perfect blend of emotional, heartfelt, funny, sweet and sexy stories. I love it when she adds a little drama in too like this one! Sebastian and Ashley were awesome together and had great chemistry. I am excited for more in this new series, as book one did not disappoint!
Take Me Again is the first book in a new series from Carly Phillips, revolving around the Knight family.
This story is about Sebastian Knight and Ashley Easton. A complicated childhood tore these two apart and an family trauma has brought them back together again.
Both Sebastian and Ashley have such walls around their hearts and they each behave in different ways about that. Sebastian is a the epic playboy and Ashley playing it safe.
Their chemistry is electric, just like back when they were young and didn’t know what it meant. Now they are older and trying to navigate these new feelings makes for a heck of a story!
This is a fast paced, page turner with a lovely ending! The secondary characters made the story more real and the perfect set up to stories of their own in the future.
You can’t go wrong with a Carly Phillips story! Well done!!
Excited to begin a new series by Carly Phillips and Sebastian Knight brought the New Year in with a bang. Second chance romance is such a great genre and one of my personal favorites. Can’t wait to read more about the Knight Brothers!
Take Me Again by Carly Phillips is the first book in a new series, The Knight Brothers, and a sweet and charming second chance romance. Ashley Easton met the Knights when her mother married their father and she moved in with them. She was instantly attracted to Sebastian and the feeling seemed to be mutual. Sebastian was only a few years older, but when you are that young, a few years can be a lot.
Sebastian and Ashley became close while their parents were married. They confided in each other and shared many good moments. But when Ashley gives in to her attraction to Sebastian, she finds herself on the outs with her family and sent away. Now years later tragedy has brought her home and in the vicinity of Sebastian, the last person she wants to see. Sebastian realizes his past mistakes and wants to show Ashely he is a different man, but is it too late?
What happened when they were young, shaped so much of Ashley’s future. She was smart and beautiful but was also vulnerable. She built a wall around her heart and never let anyone in. Sebastian loved his work and the women in his life. But when he realizes how others see him, he decides to change. He was smart, sexy and confident, but also felt like he had a lot to prove.
Take Me Again by Carly Phillips was a bit angsty with all their history but was also sweet and charming. Even after all the time apart, their chemistry was instant once they saw each other again. But could they put the past behind them and see what they could have now?

Happy reading!
4 1/2 STARS!
Carly Phillips has delivered your next book boyfriend yet again! With the kick off to a new exciting series of the Knight brothers, she brings us the story of confident, sexy Sebastian. He’s made mistakes, but he’s trying to make up for them and earn his family’s respect along the way. Seeing Ashley again and starting to let those old feelings come back to life is life changing … if only he can get her to forgive him! Really enjoyed the introduction to this family and I’m looking forward to seeing how it all shakes out for his brothers in future books.
Sebastian Knight is confident and living the dream until a family tragedy brings a blast from the past back into his life and shakes his cozy little world to smithereens! He thought he was at the top of his game in the family business, but finding out he’s not quite as high on the totem pole as he thought knocks him for a loop. His discomfort at seeing Ashley and dealing with the guilt that it brings leads him to try to foster peace with her again.
Ashley Easton has been festering a hatred towards Sebastian for many years. He should have stood up for her all those years ago instead of throwing her under the bus so his life could continue in the teen party lifestyle he was accustomed to. She’s not about to forgive him because he smiles at her … if only she could convince her deceptively aroused body of that!
I really enjoyed reading this story .
It is a second chance romance .
It is steamy and sexy has an interesting and wonderful storyline. Ashley and Sebastian’s chemistry cannot be denied it is hot . I really like their growing relationship ..This is easy reading and a great story . I highly recommend taking the time to read and enjoy .

Ashley and Sebastian have history. Years ago one kiss sent her to boarding school in London. When she returns stateside to help his brother Ethan, they finds that those sparks from years ago were still burning. They were both great characters! Sebastian is definitely an alpha with a capital A. This book is a must read!
A romance interrupted gets a second chance to get love right. For Ashley and Sebastian youthful attraction spelled trouble for a happy ending. Years later, the girl nobody wanted has become the woman he can’t forget. In the name of love, can the playboy with a naughty past become the man, he never thought himself to be? Phillips turns heartache into an inferno while appealing to the emotions buried within. Take Me Again is a powerful start to The Knight Brothers series.
A great kick start to a new series by this talented author. In Take me Again we meet the lovely Knight brothers and this story follow Sebastian’s path to a happy ending.
Following a death in the family, Sebastian is shocked by the return of Ashley into his life.
Ashley’s young heart had been broken by Sebastian many years ago, before she had been sent away to Boarding School in England. She’s now a confident, smart and beautiful woman who has returned home to comfort her friend, and Sebastian’s brother, over the death of his wife.
Seeing Ashley again stirs up old feeling and Sebastian wants another chance but Ashley want nothing to do with him until they are pushed to work together and sparks start flying.
A great, fun read with a little insight into the other Knight brothers who’s stories are no doubt going to rock..

Another great read delivered by Carly Phillips. It was light, fun, steamy…a perfect getaway from everyday problems.
Sebastian and Ashley have a past that has kept them apart for a very long time. It was so much fun to see how she just with her presence managed to change and calm Sebastian. I loved his way of giving her “space”.
“Roses are red, violets are blue, you might live in London, but I still want you.” . Swoon
But what I really liked was the fact that even though they had issues they found a way to work everything out and be happy.
This being book 1; I can’t wait to see what happens with next Knight

“Take Me Again” is a sweet second chance romance as only Carly Phillips can do them. Ashley has lived in London since college, on her own as her mother jumps from rich man to rich man, and she is determined to stand on her own. But coming back to New York to help a friend, Ashley connects with Sebastian, he one time fling and one of the reasons she refuses to give her heart to anyone. Both Ashley and Sebastian have been hurt by neglectful parents and are only beginning to discover how their pasts and their parents have influenced who they are today.
Sebastian was a delightful hero, one who starts the book off realizing that he is not the man he wants to be- for himself or for his family. His introspection began before Ashley comes back into the picture, but kicks into high gear when he realizes he isn’t the man Ashley needs- or the one he wants to be for her. When the chance comes to prove himself to his family, Ashley, and himself, Sebastian jumps on it. Along the way he learns more about himself than he expected, and the kind and caring man he can be with Ashley at his side. Both have some learning to do, and it was nice to see them finally embrace the idea of looking at their lives and what they really wanted out of life instead of what they thought they wanted.
A delightful beginning to a new series of a disfunctional family looking for their happiness.

Sebastian Knight is the closer for his family business. Unfortunately, he soon finds out that his brothers and sisters don’t totally trust him. He’s sexy and has a way with women, but this soon makes him realize that he needs to change. Enter Ashley who comes back into their lives. Ashley was raised with the Knight’s after her mother married their father. She was sent away after she and Sebastian were caught in a somewhat compromising position. What Sebastian didn’t know was that she kept in touch with his eldest brother. When they find themselves together at one of their other offices, sparks begin to fly again. Can they make it real this time or will Ashley return to London. This book will keep you wanting to read till you finish it. Carly once again strikes it big with this new series. A must for your TBR.

4.25 stars–TAKE ME AGAIN is the first instalment in Carly Phillips’ contemporary, adult THE KNIGHT BROTHERS erotic, romance series focusing on the Knight siblings. This is twenty-six year old Sebastian Knight, and twenty-four year old, forensic accountant Ashley Easton’s story line.
Told from dual third person perspectives (Sebastian and Ashley) TAKE ME AGAIN follows the rekindling relationship between former step-siblings, twenty-six year old Sebastian Knight, and twenty-four year old, forensic accountant Ashley Easton. Upon the recent death of his brother Ethan’s wife Amanda, Sebastian came face to face with his past, a woman he hasn’t stopped loving but a woman who is unable to forgive him for sins long ago. Sent away at the age of sixteen, and never to return, Ashley knew her place was with the Knight family, at a time when they needed her, the most, so leaving England, Ashley knew what awaited her upon her return. What ensues is the rekindling relationship between Ashley and Sebastian, and the potential fall-out as Ashley’s time in America draws to a close.
Meanwhile, Knight Time Technology, the family owned business, is struggling under a potential disaster. Hoping to uncover the truth, Ethan Knight sends Sebastian and Ashley , well aware of their formidable history, to California in an effort to stop the fall-out and liability of possible fraud.
The relationship between Sebastian and Ashley is a second chance, rekindling romance that was all but destroyed by overzealous reactions, and hormonal teens. Ashley has never forgiven Sebastian for what transpired but Ashley is not the innocent in the events of the past. The palpable sexual attraction is immediate and strong, and does not go unnoticed by the Knight family. The $ex scenes are passionate, erotic and intense without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.
We are introduced to the Knight siblings: oldest brother Ethan; former championship skier Parker, and twenty-four year old sister Sierra, as well as Ashley’s former boyfriend Jonathan Davies.
The world building reveals the Knight family dynamics, and the fractured relationship between Sebastian and the siblings he so dearly loves.
TAKE ME AGAIN is a story of family, friendship, betrayal and loss. The premise is revealing and captivating; the characters are colorful, charismatic and wounded; the romance is heavy and hot. TAKE ME AGAIN is a great start to a fantastic new series by Carly Phillips.
5 star review Take Me Again (The Knight Brothers #1) by Carly Phillips
Carly Phillips is off to a flying start with this new series, if book one is anything to go by.
Take Me Again is such a heart warming, sad, fun and totally hot second chance at love story. The characters are strong and well written and I was extremely sad when I finished the book.
Sebastian Knight is arrogant, alpha and used to getting what and who he wants without question, that is until he comes up against Ashley Easton for the second time.
Having been sent away from the Knight family, thanks to a tryst with Sebastian, he is shocked when Ashley returns after a family tragedy. Even more shocking, she has kept in touch with his brother Ethan. Sebastian is just as drawn to Ashley as he was when she was 18, however since Sebastian broke her heart, she has absolutely no intention of becoming involved with him again.
Sebastian is a commitment phobe and Ashley has no intention of ever falling in love and opening herself to such pain again. However, the chemistry between them refuses to die and both Sebastian and Ashley are once again drawn to one another. Can Ashley resist the determined Sebastian or is she doomed to have her heart broken again?
I loved Ashley, she is feisty, independent, a woman who knows her own mind and is focused; Sebastian I fell for hard and fast . Take Me Again was at times a bit of an emotional roller coaster, with plenty of steam and hotness to satisfy any Carly Phillips reader.
The characters, in fact the whole family drew me in and kept me riveted till the last page. I am anxious to see where Ms. Phillips takes this series and cannot wait for book 2.
This was a great quick read. This is a wonderful story of redemption and second chances.
I love when a man realizes that he made a mistake and now has a chance to change and takes it!
Can’t wait for Parker’s story!
