If only men were for sale this time of the year. Then I could buy one, use him as a companion for my son who needs a male figure in his life, and then return him once we were all good again. But it doesn’t work that way. A friend mentions a Big Brother Program, and I’m all in.My little one gets what he needs, and I don’t have to sacrifice my freedom and worry about love loss again. The handsome guy … love loss again.
The handsome guy they assign my son isn’t at all what I expected. Nor are the warm fuzzies I get when I see him.
Come to find out, he’s not there for the best reasons.
But me and my kiddo have fallen in love with this unruly, aggressive alpha male.
There’s no way to work out the desires bubbling up inside of me and keep my morals in check.
And for the first time in my life, I want to make the wrong decision. The selfish one. The one just for my own deep, dark pleasures.
To find out that he’s beyond wealthy, just like my son’s father was, leaves me cold. I should run far from him.
My ex’s family made me sign a contract promising to never tell about the baby in my belly.
My life was forever changed.
Rich people are horrible people.
This new love interest is no different.
Yet I’m trapped in desire and drowning in need when he’s around.
With no way to take it down a notch.
Not sure I would if I could…
Every good girl deserves a bad boy. ~ Weston

This book was a great character building story. We have a woman with a son who are struggling to find their way without a man present. Then you have this man who is in need of something to pro w to his father that he’s not a screw up. When they meet in the Big Brother program things change for all of them. This is truly an amazing story.I give it 5 stars.I voluntarily read and reviewed this book as an Advanced Reader’s Copy
Raeannae ‘s story is so believable and the author has done a good job with the story line. It is such a feel good book. The characters are passionate and well developed. Declan is rough around the edges but Raeanne and her son Lawson are his redemption. I am voluntarily leaving my review of this ARC.
Raeanne is a single mom, she is raising her son Lawson by herself after his very wealthy father didn’t want anything to do with him. She is worried about him not having a male roll model in his life so when she hears about the Big Brother program she signs Lawson up for it.
Declan is very rich, very privileged. He finds himself doing community service as a Big Brother after throwing a rock and breaking a window out of a cop car. This was a great read. Well written with strong characters and an entertaining storyline. Declan and Raeanne were good together and had great chemistry. I really enjoyed this book and highly recommend it.

This is another wonderful well-written story by Weston Parker, it filled with plenty of drama and emotion. I loved the characters and really enjoyed watching the blooming romance between Declan and Raeanne, the interaction between Lawson (Raeanne’s son) and Declan was sweet and entertaining. Really a wonderful story. Highly entertaining.
What an amazing ride Weston has taken us on with this story.
He had me engaged from the 1st page to the last one. This book has it all, you will laugh and you will cry, but you won’t be disappointed at all.
It is amazingly complex likeable with all 3 characters, which will bring you to a different level of love and suffering.
Definitely one of my favorites from Weston. I surely recommend it.

Declan and Raeanne meet when she is looking for a male role model for her son, Lawson. The relationship that develops between the three of them is beautiful, but will it last when Raeanne learns that Declan is from a rich family and is doing community service in the Big Brothers program? These two have lots of ups and downs, past histories to overcome, and a wonderful boy to focus on. Another great story! I received an advanced readers copy of this book and highly recommend it.
Money Can’t Buy Love
Declan is the privileged son of a wealthy man, one of three siblings in a dysfunctional family. He spends his time being a screw up, mostly. Finally one of his drunken escapades gets him arrested and he is also forced to do community service as a Big Brother. He really does need to grow up. Maybe this is his last chance.
Raeanne is a young single mother with a seven year old son Lawson. She is angry at her circumstances. The wealthy father refuses to acknowledge his son, and Raeanne must be both a mother and father to him. Lately it’s not working out so well, the boy realizes he wants a real father!
Raeanne decides, with some urging from her best friend, to get Lawson a Big Brother…….

This is a cute, crazy ADULT love story that takes place over Christmas and beyond. It’s written from dual points of view, of course.
Weston Parker is one of the premiere male authors of ADULT contemporary romance. Enjoy!
Weston never disappoints
Nice eye opener for the main guy……lovely story about finding something special when you weren’t even looking!
A sweet story. Nothing special. But still a good story to read. The dynamic of the couple is great for the firs 2/3 of the book. Then she goes off the rails. The time lapse at the end was a bit much for how fast the relationship developed. But still a fun read.
My favorite part of this book was the little boy — brilliant, funny, perceptive, but still a little boy. The relationship between the main male character and the little boy grows into something awesome throughout the book…At the same time, the chemistry between his mom and his Big Brother guy is also off the charts! This book will warm your heart, give you some delightful sizzle, and just downright good feels!
4 stars for Take It Down A Notch by Weston Parker. This is a single mom romance , that gripped my heart. Raeanne has had it rough. She got pregnant at a young age and the father’s family was a real piece of work. They wanted nothing to do with her or the child so they made her sign an NDA saying she would never tell who the father of her son Lawson really is. She has decided to sign Lawson up for the big brother program. This is where Declan comes in. Declan is a rich playboy who has done nothing with his life up to this point. After getting in trouble with the law he is sentenced to community service with the big brother program. Declan, Lawson, and Raeanna start to get close and develop a bond. Raeanne swears she will never be with some who is like Lawson’s father . What will happen when she finds out who Declan really is. That he was the exact type of person who Raeanne says she will never be with but will she see that Declan has changed.
This is a great story. I would consider this a story about discovering yourself. I loved all the characters and see what Declan will do with his life. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves a single mom romance.
I really enjoyed Declan, his growth and story. I adored Raeanne. She’s a strong woman, with a great son, Lawson. The characters meshed well, kept me involved and loving every minute.
Fan bloody tastic.
Loved this book.
Loved the storyline and the characters and the connection between them all.
OMG how could you not fall in love with Lawson. He was utterly adorable.
Another brilliant book by Weston
Take It Down A Notch is the story of two adults, who could not be more opposite on the surface, are drawn together until the truth is revealed. The father of Raeanne’s 7-year old son, Lawson, is a wealthy man who walked away from them both. She knows that he needs a male role model in his life, but that isn’t going to happen anytime soon. Declan is a trust fund playboy who has no real direction in life and lives exclusively for himself. One night, in a drunken state, he accidently throws a rock through the window of a police car. His family certainly can’t have that become public so they make a deal that includes community service. This is something brand new for Declan, as he is placed in the Big Brother program. The little brother assigned to him is, of course, Lawson. The son of a woman who doesn’t want this wealthy man around, not for who he is, but for what he is. The more time they spend together, however, Raeanne realizes that he’s not anything like what she expects from an entitled playboy and is drawn to him more powerfully than anyone before. Weston Parker has once again created complicated and complete characters in a storyline that leaves the reader with a happy heart. Very sweet and spicy!
Wow another multi dimensional book by Weston that gives you the feels in every-way! Kudos Mr. Parker.
DeClan has to be a big brother for his penance and when he first starts no even close to what he wants to do but he grows up a long the way and hopes his skeletons doesn’t ruin what he is building with little 7 year old Lawson’s Mom Rae Ann.
Raeann has had a really tough go at life and the one thing she detests is wealthy people.
This is a must read and when you get it in your hand you can’t let it go until you have read the last word.
Another well written book by this author. I thought the characters were very enjoyable and the story sucks you in from the beginning.
Raeanne is not having an easy life although she is fortunate enough to be mother to the most wonderful little boy,Lawson. But he is the result of an affair with a wealthy playboy whose family didn’t want anything to do with her nor her child so there is no contact at all. Seven year old Lawson really needs a male role model and that is where they meet Declan. Now he has secrets – one being that he is very wealthy and enjoying selling his app and that he recklessly got drunk and into a vehicle to drive. As a direct result he has been put in the Big Brother Programme where men get to meet young boys who are without a male role model. Sounds like a recipe for disaster as Raeanne is not going to like that he’s wealthy and keeping secrets. But Fate has plans for these two as well as a bumpy ‘road’ to travel to get their HEA. Weston Parker is one of those authors who really does create unique storylines that keep you on the edge of your seat and reluctant to put your book/kindle down. Her characters are so believable and 3-dimensional and charismatic that I so wanted for them to have their HEA. I received a reader’s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here. Most definitely recommended!
I loved this story about Raeanne and Declan. I definitely recommend it to everyone. It is a well written story, has well developed characters with OTT chemistry. And Lawson is an adorable cutie. I loved the flow, the drama and the happy ending. Grab it fast!
