I got my big break in an Italian men’s club. Honestly… you can’t make these things up.All I’ve wanted was to travel the world and have enough money to do it. Simple, right? Wrong. Florence has become a second home to me. I’m in love with the city and everything it has to offer, but it hasn’t really loved me back. Making enough money to travel isn’t an issue when you don’t even have enough to make … isn’t an issue when you don’t even have enough to make rent.
But then I meet a hot billionaire. Yes, in the club, and he offers me a job.
And get this… I can keep my clothes on in this one. What?!
I’d be crazy to refuse him. Even if being attracted to one’s boss can never be a good idea.
We work and play well together, but forever isn’t in the cards.
He’s from Florence and I’m an American. Neither of us are willing to give up our homes.
On top of it all, Italian mothers aren’t like American mommas, and this situation we’ve created isn’t going to be as easy to clear up.
Neither is me having to explain not one, but two little heartbeats that just popped up on the doctor’s monitor.
Every good girl deserves a bad boy. ~ Weston

Marco and Addy’s story is beautifully developed as they fall in love but are not ready to admit their feelings. Addy is an American who is living in Florence and has just lost her job. She takes a job as a waitress at a strip club, but does not like it. Marco is a self-made millionaire who meets Addy while he is entertaining clients at the club. They strike up a relationship, knowing that it’s just “for fun”. When Addy has to return home, Marco helps her and then she discovers that they are going to be tied together forever. Can these two overcome the obstacles in the way of their HEA? Grab this wonderfully written story today! I received an advanced readers copy of this book and highly recommend it.
Marco meets Addy in a strip club one night they meet on Addy’s first night waitress there and get to talking and there is chemistry and a very good storyline I don’t do spoilers but this story will keep your interest and you will not be able to stop reading until the hea ending …… I voluntarily read an arc and loved it …..
We get drama, sizzling chemistry, wonderful characters and storyline. Marco and his twin Aldo were raised by their Italian mother and she expects them to marry a nice Italian girl. His company Ricci Logistics is one of the world’s largest. Addy went to Florence, Italy fell in love with it and never left. She as a waitress but was fired by her horrible boss. This was well written and kept me entertained until the very end. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
This is the story of Marco and Addy. Marco is a self-made billionaire and Addy is a living-paycheck-to-paycheck waitress living in Florence, Italy. He’s a hometown “hero” that stayed after finding success and she is a transplanted American and stayed after falling in love with the area upon arrival years earlier. Their paths unexpectedly cross during her first night of work at a local gentlemen’s club – she needs the job and he’s unenthusiastically entertaining business associates. Their first meeting is humorous and sparks definitely fly and he “sees” something in her and offers her his business card and a job with his company. When he arrives at his office early the following Monday morning, Addy is there, waiting for him, to talk about the job. She takes the job and they start working together – the attraction is definitely still there but neither is willing to act on it, for various reasons (including that she jokingly-though he didn’t know it was a joke-told him she was gay during their first meeting at the club). The more time they spend together, the attraction grows and they finally admit to each other how they feel and finally act on it. They determine they can keep their personal lives and business lives separate and continue to move on business as usual. A good plan but not successful – thanks to Marco’s twin brother, his mother learns about Addy and insists on meeting her. It does not go well as it’s well known that Italian mothers are not fan of Americans….the meeting is absolutely awful and Marco is sure their relationship is over before it barely began. Then a family emergency comes up and Addy must return to the States immediately – Marco is there for her and gets her there. But the twists and turns don’t stop there…..once they arrive in Oregon, they learn some new news that completely floors both of them and it’s not handled well (no spoilers!!) and they both believe it’s over for good. Addy and Marco need to first realize their feelings for each other and want to fight for their love and their future… It’s a great read that will not disappoint….
An enjoyable read
The first time billionaire Marco sees Abby is when she’s waitressing at a strip club. Seems his out of town clients are fond of them, but he’s not at all comfortable there. That is until he sees the pretty waitress trying not to kill her handsy clients. On a whim he gives her his card and tells her he might have a job for her – a legitimate job where no one’s going to be grabbing at her. Now if he could only stop thinking about her.
Having rent to pay, Abby takes the only job she can get immediately, waitressing at the club her friend dances at. The “only” problem is that the reason she needs a job is she can’t keep quiet and it got her fired from her last job. When one of the club’s patrons speaks to her, she wants to blow him off until she realizes he wants to be there as much as she does – not at all. When he gives her his card she’s skeptical, until she does some research and finds out that he may be serious. Now if she could only stop thinking about him.
Review of Take it all off – Weston Parker:
I am hooked with all books Weston Parker! This book does not disappoint. I love the location of the story – Italy! Italian boys and their Mothers – oh, my! What it takes for one Momma to accept that her son may be in love with an “American” woman – will she ever live up to his Momma’s expectations? It is a great story about hope, lust and love and proving that when “the one” shows up you might not be expecting it!
What can I say about the title – It certainly doesn’t give away the story line, that’s for sure. It won’t take you long to engross yourself into the love story of Adaline and Marco. Fate brought them together in a strip club and their lives were forever changed. Adaline wasn’t a stripper and it was her first night as a bar waitress when she met Marco and he offered her a job. Some people are just meant to be together and the universe has a way of connecting them. Their chemistry is explosive as is their relationship at times. No shortage of drama, family dynamics or turmoil. But in the end an HEA that will warm your heart. I read an arc and voluntarily chose to review. The book is well written, has a good flow and the characters are amazing.
Addy & Marco’s story was great! I love strong females & soft hearted men. This was filled with the twists & turns that keep you guessing, drama that sucks you in and Roma that makes you smile. I received this book at no cost in exchange for my honest review.
Strong independent characters that drew me in.
None wanted handouts/charity. I was engaged and engrossed. Well developed and well thought out.
Another must by author Weston Parker.
*I was given a copy and am voluntarily leaving my honest review.
I really enjoyed this story. I loved Addy’s independence and her fierce drive to succeed. I was also very impressed with how well she kept her cool under pressure. Marco has a heart of gold-plated marshmallow. As much as they drive him crazy, he would do anything for his family. There was one scene that made me question my love for Addy and almost had me throwing my reader out the window, but thankfully we come back from there stronger and even more committed their happy ever after. As with every other Parker title I’ve read from either of the siblings, the ending was almost too cute for words. Now, will we get Aldo’s story in a future book? I can hope.
I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author.
An emotional billionaire bad boy romance read
Addy, an American making a living in Italy, runs into Marco, CEO of an international logistics company, when she tries her hand at waitressing in an adult dance club after losing her waitressing job at a restaurant. As the story progresses a job is offered, a different opportunity arises, and a surprise may wreck al that they have worked for. Weston Parker’s Take It All Off is an emotional billionaire bad boy romance read that is sure to send the reader on a rant or two at certain points. I hope he has something planned (pretty please) for Elena, Aldo, and Kyle each in future books.
I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.
This is a fun, entertaining read with a cast of strong characters all centering around Addy and Marco. The author does a fantastic job pulling you in with all the drama and humor as well as the romance. I loved the banter and the story being told in the dual POV. It’s well written . moves quickly and smoothly and I loved reading.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
I loved Addy and Marco and when she meets Marco at her place of business she’s not exactly fully clothed, that’s right, she’s a stripper and not making enough money to do much in Italy. When Marco offers her a job it’s an offer she can’t refuse although she’s attracted to him she knows that nothing could come of it. Marco is sexy, steamy and is completely attracted to Addy, but he has a little misconception regarding her status and when he’s proven wrong, watch out. Marco is a good Italian mama’s boy along with his twin brother, but when the feelings start to grow, he’s not sure what his mother will think about the American that he’s falling for. Their story is sweet, fun, loving and just and all around great read. I received a copy of this book.
Addy fell in love with her new country Italy. When her friend and roommate got her a job where she worked, meeting Marco was nowhere along those lines and when he offered her a job that entailed not taking her clothes off, she was skeptical. Now they have formed more than just a working relationship and when her brother becomes ill sending Addy back to the state, Marco comes along. He gets a big surprise one that will bind him and Addy together for a lifetime but will his mother be ok with the decision Marco has to make? This story will have you backing Marco and Addy cheering them on to a happily ever after. I voluntarily agreed to receive an ARC of this book for an honest review.
Marco And Addy’s Story Is About Family And Following Your Dreams, And The Culture And Beauty Of Florence Enrich Their Story.
Marco Ricci, thirty-four, always knew he wanted to go into business. His father gave him valuable advice at an early age by explaining the importance of learning English if business were to be his chosen path. Marco grew up and went on to build Ricci Logistics, and today he is a billionaire. Despite his huge international success, Marco has maintained his corporate offices in his hometown of Florence, Italy, and has become something of a local legend. Raised to be a good Italian son, he maintains a close relationship with his widowed mother. Her drama keeps life interesting, but he can’t imagine life without her. Although she is fiercely independent, he and his brother are constantly in contact with her and looking out for her needs.
Aldo, his identical twin, takes after their mother in the drama department. Although the brothers may look alike, their personalities differ. While Aldo is always looking for the next date or the next adrenaline rush, Marco can’t seem to pry himself away from his work. Regardless of their differences, the brothers remain very tight. They spend all their free time together. Both are adamant that they will not be marrying and having babies anytime soon, if at all, much to their mother’s chagrin.
Adaline Tidwell fell in love with the city of Florence when she arrived nearly five years ago, and despite her dream of travelling the world, Florence felt like home – and it remains her home for now. She loves the countryside, the architecture, and the passion of the locals. Although she misses her beloved brother Kyle back in Portland, Oregon, she is following her heart. Since her arrival, though, she has always lived paycheck to paycheck, and as such has always been at risk of running out of money and having to give up her dream and return home. Though Kyle would do anything to support her dream, she is too independent to become a burden to him. So when Addy loses her job suddenly, she finds herself in a bind. With rent due and no time for job hunting, she has three choices: ask Kyle for a loan, return home and give up her dream, or take the job her roommate offers her. Her roommate Elena dances at an exclusive strip club. Addy refuses to strip, but finally concedes and agrees to wait tables at the club to score quick cash. She has difficulty getting through her first shift, though, when she discovers just how handsy the customers are.
When Marco scores a big deal, he offers his to celebrate by showing his new partners a good time in Florence. Although not his cup of tea, he agrees to take the group of Chinese businessmen to a strip club at the end of an evening of wining and dining, taking a seat himself in a quiet corner away from the activity. He is startled by an angry waitress that appears next to him at the bar, but is struck first by her beauty, and then by her intelligence, when they engage in a brief conversation. Going on gut instinct, he offers her a job once her learns of her predicament.
Neither Marco nor Addy is looking for anything serious when they give into their attraction. Neither wants marriage and children. But as they continue to enjoy one another, it doesn’t matter how they define what they mean to one another. It becomes a relationship of sorts. But Marco knows that whatever he and Addy have won’t pass his mother’s scrutiny for one very simple reason: Addy isn’t Italian. And that knowledge means that the relationship will never result in marriage. Yet love finds him and Addy even though they aren’t ready for it and have a hard time recognizing it. The couple eventually earns a beautiful HEA.
Marco and Addy’s story is about family and following your dreams, and the culture and beauty of Florence enrich their story. It is nicely written. The plot is somewhat complex. The characters are nicely developed. It is written in first person. The POV alternates between Marco and Addy. I rate this book four stars.
I received a free advance copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is another wonderful story from Weston Parker. Addy has picked up and moved to Florence, Italy. She has absolutely fallen in love with people and city. She struggles to get by and when she loses her job, she takes a job waiting tables in club. She meets Marco who offers her a job. She is hesitant at first but takes the job. They are drawn to each other from the start. There are a lot of changes that come along to cause trouble but they work it out together. I love the book.
I gave an honest review for an advanced copy.
I was so engaged in this story from the very beginning with the well written storyline and the well defined characters! The chemistry between Addy and Marco was so sizzling HOT that I couldn’t stop turning the pages until the very end!
I’ve said it before about other books he has written, but here I am saying it again … this book is one of Weston Parker’s best. I never want to really detail the storyline in a review; you can get that from the book blurb. I will tell you Adeline is a smart and strong heroine who goes after what she wants in life, having grown up with no support system aside from her brother, she depends only on herself. Marco is a brilliant and successful businessman who is also a mama’s boy, but not at all in a bad way. He has a twin brother who is also a good guy, and who encourages Marco to embrace life outside of just business.
Addy and Marco meet in a unique way and their relationship is a pleasure to learn about. These two have sizzling hot chemistry, smart banter, and a sense of humor like every good relationship needs. There are a couple of big obstacles that must be dealt with on the way to the well-earned HEA. This book has some wonderful secondary characters. (I’m wondering what Aldo and Elena would be like together!) The author’s style is so easy to read, it’s like enjoying hazelnut Gelato on a warm summer day … Delicious, decadent, and just so good you can’t resist.
A well written romance story with a wonderful storyline and nicely developed characters. Take it ALL Off has an awesome mix of family drama/conflict, attraction, suspense, explosive chemistry, turmoil, witty banter, love and a happily ever after.
I volunteered to review an advance reader copy of this book.
Loved it must read
