“Dark Feels. I’m bursting at the seams. Ahhhhhh! I love my anti-heroes, and Pam Godwin is insanely talented in redeeming even the most ruthless, brutal, sadistic characters. Tiago. I’m so in love.” ~ Di Covey, Goodreads ReviewerHe’s a notorious crime lord, a kidnapper, and an artist. Scarification is his outlet, and he just captured a new canvas. Kate refuses to surrender beneath his blade or the … to surrender beneath his blade or the cruelty in his beautiful eyes.
But she’s drawn to the man inside the monster. A man who makes her ache with his touch. Who owns her with his kiss.
A man who worships her as deeply as he hurts her.
She can run, but there’s no escape from a bond carved in scars.

I think this series have become one of my faves now. There are some twist that you won’t see coming and they will suprise you. I really liked Kate because she was strong and she didn’t give up about what she wanted. I was curious about Tiago and his backstory. It was something what I didn’t expect. It was pretty tragic and that’s why I understand why Tiago was like he was. Also I liked Kate’s and Boones relationship. I Really liked Kate and Tiago together.
Tiago is a crime lord, a rapist, a kidnapper and a sadist. He kidnaps Kate as payment for Tate taking Lucia from him. He will fuck with your mind.
Kate was kidnapped before and viciously trained to be a sex slave before she was freed, being kidnapped again could have broke her. Kate is such a fighter she will not let Tiago take her down!
This story will take you all over the map, from the horror Kate relives being kidnapped again, unknowing her fate, to her rape and struggles with her attraction to her captor. Tiago is a sick bastard, I honestly didn’t think Pam Godwin could win me over for this guy. But in the end there is something compelling about a man that becomes so devoted that he’s willing to make such significant changes for the woman he loves.
I loved Kate’s strength and that she fought Tiago all the way. These are two fierce people that are perfect for each other, even if I don’t get all their kinky ways, I get that it works for them. This isn’t an easy read but if you like dark romance it’s deliciously dark.
I received an ARC copy and am voluntarily leaving a review. More of my reviews can be found at https://wyldheartreads.wordpress.com/
Another two amazing characters with sensual chemistry off the charts
—>>> Kate comes into her own and reaches into her hidden depths of courage and a spine of steel, to negotiate with the one man who strikes fear in many people, the crime lord Tiago. It is not long before he recognizes her as his equal, capable of withstanding his challenges, his dark and possessive ways, his violent tendencies…as well as welcomes them. An amazing story of captor and captive, strength, and promises.
Can’t get enough of this awesome series. Each book is better than the last. If you want the full effect, read them in order. They don’t need to be read in order but, they are all so good, you’ll want to. So intense, dark & will keep you sitting at the edge of your seat.
This series keeps getting better and better. I’d say this books is the most unbelievably darkest romance you can get and I loved it!!! I’ve never read anything and probably wont read anything like this, EVER!!!
Disturbingly good.
4.5 starts from me. A great addition to the series.
So not what i expected to happen.
Pam is exceptionally good at twisting the story so that the villain is so much more than he seemed to be and you end up rooting for him by the end of the story.
Kate and Tiago’s story is a different kind of dark and twisted. Kate is suprisingly stronger than i thought she would be, she doesn’t make things easy for Tiago and she withstands his brutality.
Tiago is not what i expected he’s got so many hidden objectives and his actions are cruel and calculating but there’s so many messed up reasons why he does these thing’s its disturbingly captivating.
This series keeps you enthralled, cant wait for the next book.
What do I even say about this book?!?! Take was so hardcore!! So intense!! It had me at the edge the whole way through. I can’t express how much I love Pam’s writing! She is simply amazing! Kate and Tiago’s story was twisted and like I said before so intense! I loved them so hard! When I realized Tiago was the main character I was like WTF!! No! There’s no way he can redeem himself after everything he’s done! Just No! In the end I loved Tiago so much and I think only Pam could’ve made me love him. Read this book! You have to start with Deliver and work your way through. Every book is amazing!
Kate and Tiago, oh my gosh, swoon! Such a volatile and over the top relationship they have!
Their story is the epitome of opposites attract and 2 people colliding!
Kate gets kidnapped…..AGAIN! and she tries to fight so hard against her kidnapper. She had figured out who had taken her almost immediately and screamed his name over and over to come and face her. But Tiago was healing from what Lucia did to him.
Will Tiago finally find love? Will Kate finally submit to Tiago on his terms?
These Deliver stories are so captivating, the reader can’t put them down. I just love how they weave through time, and the characters from the book 1 of Deliver come together in each book as the Freedom Fighters they are.
3.5 Stars
My lack of enjoyment of this story takes nothing away from Pam as the uber talented author she is. I have a hard time with certain subject matter but Pam has tackled Stockholm Syndrome before and had me cheering like a mad woman. Sadly, Take didn’t effect me in the same way. I didn’t hate it but wasn’t raving either. It is a very relationship centered novel and I found myself wanting more plot and intrigue. Most of that happened late in the story and I would’ve liked more of it throughout the story.
What an incredible dark read violent and intense read! Truly this book is a fabulous continuation in this series and while being incredibly dark has some incredible knockout moments that keep the reader entertained and captured into the story
Tiago is my new hot book boyfriend! Never thought the evil in the night. Old become the guy you’d want in your dreams! And Kate, ,.she was the wimpy girl in all the books and wound up the strongest of all. Great read.
Dark, Dangerous, and sexy as anything! Tiago just became one of my all time favorite characters!
Tiago. The name in the series that I thought I would have hated forever. Nothing redeeming about a stone cold killer who has put some of our favorite characters through the worst possible. Then he captured Kate. The blonde little spit fire who wasn’t afraid to stand up to him. Who resisted him at every turn, and wasn’t going to go down without a fight. What we got in this book was the ultimate story of maybe not total redemption, but certainly one that will make you wonder what makes the person evil. What drove them to become someone we should all fear. And is the person worthy of love. Are they worth forgiveness. Tiago became one of my favorite characters, in part due to his flaws. He needs Kate. She needs him. But is everything worth it? The pain, heartache, torture? Well that’s up to the reader. All I know is this series keeps getting better and I can’t wait for the next one
Pam Godwin has converted me into a lover of the Dark Romance genre. Take is the 5th book in the Deliver series and what amazes me is that each book although dark and depraved is different from the other. Take was raw and gritty yet from the start it will grip you and hold your interest until the end. This novel was nothing like I expected it to be. It is a story about redemption. It will take your emotions on a roller-coaster ride and you won’t know up from down, but in the end you will love every moment.
I believe Tiago and Kate are my favorite couple and I was engrossed in seeing how their relationship evolved from kidnapper/victim to more. The characters development was exquisite, the story was well-crafted and layered, filled with action, passion, deceit, and pain. I don’t have enough word to express how good this novel was. Take was a phenomenal read worthy of a 5 star status. I loved it and would highly recommend it to all lovers of Dark Romance.
This book is incredible. I love this whole series but this might be one of my favorites. Tiago is filthy and I love it. Honestly I didn’t think he was redeemable but somehow Pam Godwin makes him so. Kate was awesome but the real star of the book was Tiago. Cannot wait for the next instalment
Dark romances are usually a hit or a miss for me. I usually get completely invested in the story or am bored to tears. For Pam Godwin’s books, I am immediately enthralled. I fell in love with her books after reading Vanished and discovering the crazy world of Van Quiso and haven’t looked back since.
The characters that are part of this series have been through alot. Kate, like many of them, are direct victims of sex-trafficking. I will admit Kate didn’t intrigue me in the previous books, but after reading this I have newfound respect for the girl. Tiago Badell is a hard, hard man to live with, and I don’t envy her for it. He is hell bent on revenge, and what starts off as a cat and mouse game becomes so much more.
Tiago is a bad man, and Pam doesn’t shy from exploring the dark parts of his psyche. Yes it is romanticized, but the edge is still there. Tiago disgusted me at times, but I couldn’t stop reading for the story and for Kate, who I couldn’t help but root for. Tiago is bad till the end, and when the book ended I couldn’t help but think that Kate had found the perfect man for herself: one who would hurt her and protect her with every fiber of his being.
This book was gripping, hot, and disturbing all packaged into one. I really enjoyed it, and its been a long while since I’ve truly enjoyed a dark romance. One tiny problem I had with the story was the change in Tiago’s attitude towards Kate. It seemed kind of rushed, but other than that one small complaint, everything else was perfect.
5 stars.
This is book five in the Deliver series. Each book is amazing and must be read in order.
When I read of Tiago in Devastate I was really looking forward to reading his story. Take was epic and so much more. It certainly blew my expectations.
Your not gonna get any spoilers from me of Tiago and Kate’s story. Nothing. Nada. I will say I absolutely love these two characters. I was really rooting for Tiago. Yes I’m warped lol read it for yourself and disagree lol
I’m in awe of this author. Just when I think I’ve read her best book she releases another and blows my mind. I can’t wait to read more from her. A must read for lovers of dark
Wow! WTF did I just experience?! I can’t wrap my mind around some of the dark and depraved occurrences in this book. I thought I knew my hard limits. I thought I couldn’t stomach certain subject matters. But leave it to Pam Freaking Godwin to blow past another boundary I’ve set for myself yet again. I hated love triangles until Pam wrote one. I hated second chance romance until Pam wrote one. I hated companion novels until Pam wrote some. And now This. Book. Pam Godwin excels at writing dark romance. The way she paces her stories is beyond. She gives you the darkest of the dark, then blesses you with these magnificent heartfelt moments that bellow to the hopeless romantics in us all.
I love stories where love conquers all. Tiago and Kate’s story was the epitome of love conquering it all! Woo Chile!!!! This was a heavy af read and I enjoyed every deviant moment of it. Tiago is a horrendous man. But Pam Godwin can redeem the nonredeemable. (I sound like I’m preaching.) But it’s so true. I don’t know how the heck she’s able to take a character we loathe and make us love them as much as our first born. Okay, maybe not that much but love them nonetheless. Tiago was a tortured torturer and I wanted Kate as far away from him as possible. I felt every one of Kate’s emotions as if they were my own. I relished watching their relationship unfold. It was an emotional roller coaster and I didn’t want to get off.
So freaking good! Gah!!!!!!!!!!

A brilliant yet depraved story. I was nervous to read this one. Tiago is an antihero, so deviant you can’t help but hate him. Kate is a warrior! I loved her pride, sass and strength. Their journey is not pretty and will push you out of your comfort zone. Definitely worth the read and probably my favorite story so far in this series. Each one is better than the last. Extremely dark and licentious. Hold on for the ride, it’s gets ugly before the beauty unfolds…
I don’t know how but I always end up LOVING each book in this series more than I did the last. The way Pam Godwin describes a dark romance, I can’t help but cheer for the characters as they evolve and the walls tumble down. With Tiago and Kate’s story I was instantly drawn in and captivated.
At first, I was sad for Kate. Having already been held captive years ago, the experience isn’t new or even as devastating. But because she’d endured captivity in the past, this go round brought out her fierceness and a fire she hadn’t had before. She was tired of feeling weak and the sudden inner strength only captivated her captor as much as it did me. It entranced Tiago and without even trying she got under his skin and burrowed herself into a deep permanent place in his heart.
As for Tiago, he was a very intimidating man, but that only added to his allure. His darkness was enticing is so many ways. There’s no way Kate wouldn’t have succumb to it. There was always something different I felt from him and so did Kate. Not only did his beauty make it hard for her to truly hate him, there was a broken part of him that she recognized on so many levels.
With each chapter, the changes in him was evident but he didn’t completely change. He was still a bit depraved and twisted but those characteristics somehow spoke to Kate’s deepest desires. Desires she wasn’t even aware of. They were true soulmates with a very unconventional beginning. Sure they struggled with their feelings; especially Kate. How can one be certain it’s love if you’re not in a position to freely choose? That inner battle was something Kate had to work through in most of the book. She had to come to terms with both sides of Tiago in order to know for certain her feelings were real. And it was such a beautiful discovery.
I DEVOURED this book and loved every twisted moment. I don’t know how she does it, but Pam Godwin makes dark romance feel like I’m reading poetry. It’s always so eloquent and beautiful and speaks to all those parts of my inner darkness.
