3.5 Stars
Where should I start… First of all, ignore my rating because I had no idea how many stars I should give this book. It was an up and down of good and not so good parts and I tried to find a middle ground somewhere between 3 and 4.
This book had a different feel to it, or maybe I’ve just forgotten all about the stuff that happened before. I couldn’t wrap my head around how otherworldly it all sometimes felt. There wasn’t anything impossible for the characters and the Kings’ power and wealth reminded me somewhat of the mafia. It was all so easy for them to handle and some things didn’t make any sense to me and felt somewhat weird but that’s something I’m almost already used to with Amo’s books.
As always, Mad’s did whatever the hell she wanted and now nobody put a stop to it. The King’s weren’t as ruthless and dangerous anymore but felt all like a reverse harem to Mad’s. I really did not like how the Kings were all so drawn to Madison from the start but it even got weirder here and I really missed the twisted games and fucking around from the first book. It was like Mad’s suddenly became the sun to all of them and they now only gravitated around her. While this was also the issue in the second book, I’d really hoped it would change in this one.
My annoyance of Madison wasn’t anything new because I wasn’t really a fan of her from the beginning but she now was a real plague. I didn’t understand how a girl could be so frustrating but loved by all the men. One second she wanted all of the King guys and messed around with who knows who and the next she regretted everything and only wanted Bishop no matter how angry she was only minutes ago because of whatever he did or didn’t do. Bishop was another story entirely because he could give as good as Mad’s. Madison was selfish and only cared about herself, she jumped from one thing and guy to the other which nearly gave me whiplash from trying to keep up with her. She was just so messed up and never stopped for a second to think about her actions.
To be honest, I was slightly disappointed in this book because although on one hand I was glad to get a catch up from the previous books, I didn’t need as much of a repeat as I got in this book. For most of the time it felt like there wasn’t much happening and when it came to the big showdown everything was over and done with way too fast. It not only felt rushed but it mostly felt like huge and important parts were missing. Not in the sense that stuff got cut out but that a lot just wasn’t picked up on with sufficient details and I was disappointed because I know the author can do better as she’s shown us many times before.
The story wasn’t particularly dragging but it was drawn out sometimes and a bit flat, because thinking back there was not much going on especially in the first half of the book and I believe it would have been a lot better if book two and three were made into one book.
There were some answers in this book but obviously not enough and the ending didn’t give a lot of closure but was really kinda open since there will be more books coming in this series. So, while I thought that it’s ok to leave stuff open for their story to go on, I had hoped that it would at least feel somewhat more like an ending of Bishop’s and Madison’s chapter instead of just stopping.
I don’t want to give anything away but there was a little peek at the end of the book of where the story will lead us and I’m very excited for the other boys’ stories.
Having said all that I can’t say that I didn’t like the book as I still enjoyed it a lot because it was captivating enough and some scenes were as awesome, gripping and thrilling as I’d have liked the entire book to be.
PS: I loved Daemon and that will never change despite his obvious problem.

— yep, count them right… that’s 20 Stars!! And this books deserves more than that but I’m not gonna make you guys count that high.
“As graceful as a floating swan, but as deadly as a sliver bullet.”
Holy shit… HOLY SHIIIIIEEEEEETTTTTT!!!!!! I just finished reading this book and I can’t even formulate proper words right now to say how fucking great this book is.
Tacet a Mortuis deserves 20 fucking Stars!! Wow, Amo Jones, you have left me speechless, woman. There was so much going on in this book.
I read it slowly, devouring each and every single word.
You made me ANGRY, you made me CRY, you made me HAPPY, and you made me SAD. You made me feel it ALL! I loved it, I loved it, I loved it.
You have a crazy good head, Amo. Man, I felt the intensity, the rawness, the power of your poetic words and how they hit me in all the right spots. I felt EVERYTHING these characters did.
I was in there, I was experiencing it. I wasn’t just looking in. I was being taken down with Mads, I felt the pain, the anger,the strength, I felt the love. I seriously felt it all. Brava, Kiwi Jones. This is truly your best work yet. **Sigh** I can’t fucking wait to get my hands on Malum!!!!!
Seriously, these past couple of months have been spectacular for me in the book world. This is another #BestReads2018.
I think we all need to look for Bishop (shhhh… don’t tell my husband)

“Tacet A Mortuis” What can I say about this mind-altering piece of fiction.
I actually felt like I had entered an alternate reality here; so great was my confusion at times.
But despite this, I still loved this book like so so much.
I felt like I had been waiting for this story and answers for like absolute forever.
So my first item on the agenda was to re-skim book two “The Broken Puppet” to reacquaint myself on the whole silver Swan enigma.
Then being in the right head space I dived in, crossed my fingers and hoped for the best.
And boy it didn’t take long before I was back there immersed in this confusing tale of obscurity and lifelong secrets.
A mystery shrouded in aeons of tradition where the Kings are the pivotal players and every move is a calculated risk.
And at the very centre of all this confusion is our “Silver Swan” Madison Montgomery.
And where in previous books I have given her a bit of a free pass in regards to her sometimes immaturity; here I really just wanted to totally lamp her arse.
Her behaviour at the beginning of this book was abysmal.
The fallout from what Madi perceives as a betrayal from Bishop was harsh man and really didn’t catalogue Madi in a very good light at all.
I found myself totally switching from Team Madi to Team Bishop; so great was my disgust at her immature actions.
it’s just a bloody good job she does manage to redeem herself at a later date; that’s the only thing that saved her from my steaming wrath.
So book three is actually told in a slightly different fashion than previous instalments.
Instead of just Madison’s POV this time we are treated to the inner sanctum of what is Bishop’s cold calculating psyche.
And as an added bonus; an occasional cameo from Madi’s twin bro Daemon.
And this I found really added an extra layer to proceedings; giving us a much more in-depth and sympathetic profile of Bishop the man and what ultimately makes him tick.
You get to see such a different side to Bishop here; more loving and protective overall but still a complete bad-ass to outsiders or anyone he perceives as a threat to his girl.
And after the initial fallout from book two the dynamic established between Madi and Bishop is the best to date.
Maybe because we are getting a much more rounded perspective of them both.
We do get some of the questions that have been rattling around our heads finally answered here; thank god.
But in true Amo Jones style, we are still not let in on the whole entire picture.
There is still so much more to discover and yippee another book to boot.
Was so stoked to discover that titbit.
I’m just hoping we stay with Bishop and Madi.
Please god, more Bishop especially; I beg of you.
“Tacet A Mortuis” is as usual with this series; red hot in the sexual department.
And I’ll say it again; where were these gods of sexual prowess when I was a girl.
Mmm, nope not seeing any; move along.
But suspending disbelief slightly; Bishop and Madi really spark flames here with there combustible energy and sizzling chemistry.
setting the pages on fire with there antics.
Bucket of water needed, please.
There was also a great supporting cast to compliment the A team; all really well developed.
Some old faces and some new players.
And as I said earlier some closure.
But damn it I was hoping for all the answers here and I’m still left somewhat confused.
Oh well onwards and upwards.
So despite me wanting to drop-kick madison throughout “Tacet A Mortuis” I’m still giving this Five stars.
I ummed and awwed a bit and did consider dropping half a star; just on account of Madi.
I eventually decided against this; I was so hooked and invested in the storyline here that I have to give it its due.
I couldn’t put this down and “tacet A Mortuis” was adhered to my hand throughout this whole experience.
So it’s getting a full house.
I cant recommend this series enough; it’s truly an intriguing read.
Thank You to the Author for providing me with an ARC of “Tacet a Mortuis (Whispers from the Dead) (The Elite King’s Club #3)” of which I have reviewed voluntary.
All opinions expressed are entirely my own.

omg I love Amo’s work like I could sit next to her all day and everyday and read what she has to say. ( ok that maybe sounds stalkerish but damn her writing) I was once again hooked on Madison and Bishop’s story like I couldn’t get enough mad like hell that it ended and wanted more and more. This was a story like no other and it ties in really well with the other 2 Elite King novels like really really well. I have never read a dark love story until Amo and have to say she has put the stakes really high like super high I don’t know if I can read another dark romance author’s work. I love it. This story picks up where book 2 left off at and flows right along with the events that are going on and about to happen. It’s real and in your face like don’t stop till the end. 1 day is all this story took for me to read it from page 1 till the very end. I was jaw dropped and hooked. Bishop is by far my favorite Amo character. I so recommend everyone to read this story and then more. Each page brought something new to the pages and just like the first 2 books your emotions are all over the place along with Madison. Its well worth the read 100 times over and then some.

I got a copy of the book in exchange of an honest review.
What a ride! Here it is the third book in the Silver Swan series which I also thought is going to be the final one and although it is the last book focusing on Bishop and Madison, the series itself is going to consist of 13 books, 13. I seriously can’t contain my excitement.
I always enjoyed Amo Jones’ writing and somewhat dark and twisted style but with this story I completely fell in love with it. If you read the first two books, which obviously did otherwise what you would do here, then you are familiar with the amount of questions circling around in your head about the story. Or at least I was bursting with them after finishing Broken puppet. The thing is that while the plot-line follows seamlessly and effortlessly (the book starts right where the previous one ended) and there are not really outright answers in it they are somehow sneak upon you. Suddenly everything made so much more sense and things became a bit clearer. Don’t get me wrong the book left you still with a lot of blank spots but they were more about the secret society end of things and the other characters rather than Madison and Bishop. I loved this development, how we get answers without being overwhelmed and I practically felt the light bulb spark up in my head, like in the cartoons and comics. It had a delightful effect and a great way to go explanation wise.
But the mystery part wasn’t the only one in the book that took a different turn. I think most of you (fans of the series) can agree with me that the main thing we were interested in is the romance and relationship. The whole Madison and Bishop affair, it’s phenomenal and so exciting. So there is still a lot of sexual openness in the story and among the characters, they are not modest at all but dare I say this book was the first where I could say that the relationship handled the most conventional problems. Lies, trust, cheating, secrets everything you encounter in every other romance novels just with a bit of a dark twist. I personally enjoyed it and it was great to see how Bishop handles a ‘normal’ connection.
Okay that was a bit rant-y. Let’s try to organize a bit.
1. Awesome development romance wise. I loved all the feels among the two main characters and the obstacles they needed to overcome. Also the dynamism they eventually formed.
2. Madison was great all along, she made some overly impulsive decisions but I think most of her choices were justified. Bishop on the other hand pissed me of a couple of times but if I consider his upbringing then he handles things exceptionally. I loved the little private moments between them and the chemistry is off the pages.
3. Finally we get some concrete answers about the whole silver swan situation and things clear up.
4. The other characters receive more attention and you start to see the little breadcrumbs that probably, eventually is going to be the root of their story/book. I always loved Nate and I think he is next or at least that’s what it look like going to happen. However I don’t think I like where his story is headed. Time will tell.
Still I loved to get to know more about the other kings especially since in the previous books some of them only appeared briefly. Also Bishop’s mother is a hoot.
5. There were a couple of things that were kinda predictable, mainly meaning the whole debacle with Tillie. But the more important things have a great wow factor.
So all in all I loved the book, I flew through it still I needed to reduce half a star form my final rating because there were a couple of spotty parts in the plot for me still and the ending confused the hell out of me. Way to end a book. Congratulation Mss Jones, you done it again.
PS.- I went and bough every book the author published to hold myself over until the next book comes out. I see an Amo Jones read-athon in my future.

“It had always been messy. It used to be beautiful, but no it’s more chaotic. It’s a storm that won’t stop and a tsunami that keeps rolling, but I’m addicted. I’m chasing the storm, regardless of danger.”
Bishop is the single most infuriating, intense, heart-stopping mass of alpha hotness and I so look forward to he and Madison’s sparring each and every time. He just oozes every kind of wrong to the point where he has you in his powerful clutches, has you panting like a maniac, and then won’t let you go. Until….the Author pulls a switcheroo and gives him some soft, some sweet, an Achilles heel in the form of Madison and that’s where the lightning strikes!! I didn’t think it was possible to like him any more than I did, but he’s a force of nature.
“Only Bishop could do this, only he had the power to completely disarm me while putting me on high alert at the same time.”
If you thought your head was spinning right off your neck with the first two books, get ready for absolute carnage being laid on your brain with all that is revealed in this one!! It’s dizzying how everything that remained hidden so far, spins it’s web and reels you in!! Up is down, and down is up with this crew and I loved every minute!! I thank the Author for providing a copy to review!
“I was addicted to the burn that crusted over my vulnerable heart every time he broke it, because sometimes, the very few times that I have seen another side to Bishop, made all those pieces worth breaking for. Made him worth it.”

I want to start by saying I loved every single minute of this crazy ride; I even set my alarm clock to wake me up 2 hours before I needed to so I could get some extra reading in before work. I’m still not sure I fully understand what the hell is going on and I am still connecting the dots long after the last page was read! But what I will say is Amo has nailed once again… has left me speechless yet again! I always finish this authors book with a WTAF and this was no exception. Mind has been completely blown!
Told from a dual POV; the book takes one crazy turn after another; just when you have one questioned answered another 10 or more are born. I loved every single character and this whole Latin thing just created a whole erotic, mystery feel to the story. I have laughed, I have cried and I have experience every emotion in between at times holding my breath to scared to breathe. Bishop just made my spine tingle in the most delicious of ways, the whole manly, dominant, alpha thing… yeah! He had that going on in spades!
This is a difficult book to review because all I want to say is just read the damn series. If you love messed up, dark, suspense, enjoy spending 99% of the book in utter confusion waiting for the penny to drop then this book is perfect for you and this author should be top of your hit list for one clicking!

Book 3 in The Elite Kings Club series, you must read books 1 & 2 before this if you are to stand any chance of understanding just WTF is going on, and even then its a hell of a Mind Fuck!! I’ve had to give this a couple of days before reviewing!!
So I went into this thinking that this was the conclusion of the series, but err no its not, and although we get a lot of answers in this, it also produces and shit load more of questions!!!
You will be confused, but its twisted and captivating and you just cannot put it down.
Bishop, what can I say, no matter how mean and awful he is, I just can’t help loving him more and more, such a brilliant anti hero character!! Madison in this really did get on my nerves quite a bit, she’s very immature and did some very unnecessary actions designed to poke and provoke, and boy it worked!!! Its not until later on in the book when their relationship really develops with a highly descriptive and emotional part that made me fall even more for Bishop, and Madison books her ideas up from hereon in and their relationship blossoms. The sexual tension and scenes in here are massively hot between Bishop and Madison, in fact where any of the Kings are concerned, they are just one mass of walking sexual objects, totally hawt!!
Head is still spinning, I’m emotionally drained and like wiped out, but this was so good, even though I have a thousand and one questions still spinning around in there. A brilliantly unusual series, not one to be missed if you like something out of the ordinary, I can’t wait to read more, after a while in recovery that is!!!

It’s been worth the wait for this book!
This is the next instalment of the Bishop/Madison romance but a lot is mainly from Bishop’s point of view. I don’t want to say too much or it will spoil it for you and you NEED to read this book!
Lies and deception are still the order of the day, puzzle pieces are still being pushed around but slowly they begin to be placed into their allotted spots. Madison’s catch cry “I need answers, I just need answers!'” is very understandable as as a reader you feel the same!
Although very dark there are some lighter moments that really balance things out. For example when Madison, Bishop, Justin and Khales arrive at a nightclub and Madison sees the range of people’s ages lined up outside. She thinks to herself…”..Putting up with little kids has to like, I don’t know, offer some sort of advantage. Free wine and first priority into clubs.” I love it!
The journey takes us through some normal and not so normal young adult experiences, their lives like a nonstop roller coaster of activity and excitement. The wealth these characters have at their fingertips is amazing. The sensual side of Bishop and Madison’s relationship is still extremely intense and not just in a sexual manner. And can I just say..he does buy over the top but fantastic presents!
It is also great to get to know some of the older characters in this series better like Nate and Bishop’s mothers. They lend a completely different yet extremely important aspect to the storyline, the parallels are great too.
Talk about an emotional ride..no usual ride could be used to describe it, it was more than a Helter skelter or roller coaster, it was everything together!
Once again, you nailed it Amo Jones!

Silver Swan and Broken Puppet gave us the first parts of this story, and you have to read those books to understand what happens in TAM. This is the third book in the Elite King’s Club series, where secrets and surprises are revealed, some of which could break a lesser person. I have loved this series so far, and though it is twisted and dark, there are moments that peek through and bring some brightness into their story. I loved Bishop in this book. Madison had some good moments in here, but I felt as though she had not progressed much beyond the way she was in Broken Puppet. Overall, this has been an amazing series though, with some great characters and gripping scenes.

Where do I even begin with this book?
Amo Jones is always a phenomenal writer. She’s one of those authors that I stalk because her books leave me craving more. Once you’re on the last page, it makes you question EVERYTHING you just read and want to re-read it all over with new eyes.
Nothing could be more true with The Elite Kings Club books. And the latest, Tacet a Mortuis, will leave you with not only a broken kindle because you threw it across the room a million times. But you’ll be constantly telling yourself: “WTF?” “How?” “Wait. What?” “Hold up.” “OMG!”
The third book in Bishop and Madison’s story – make sure you read Silver Swan and Broken Puppet first – takes us places we’ve not really been before. Seeing insight to different characters, their dynamic. Who they are to one another. Different locations, and answers to some of the questions we’ve all had – only to leave us with more.
Bishop is the King. He steals the show, for quite obvious reasons. I loved him, his character and his strength. He’s calculated, cool, confident and an absolutely stunning character. I really wished there was more from his point of view. Being in his head was thrilling.
My problem with this book was with Madison. As much as I loved her in Silver Swan and Broken Puppet, I feel like her character didn’t really grow from BP to TAM. When she had a problem – she did the same thing she did in the previous books. Which was really disappointing, to me, and why I am giving this book 4.5 stars.
I know that there is more to this series. I know the answers are coming and I know this isn’t the last we’ll see of these characters. I can’t wait for more! Amo is one of my FAVORITE authors and Im always left speechless when I’m done.

There once was a woman who thought words were her weapon.
Oh a fantastic weapon it was.
After one book turned into many.. this last one made me laugh.
Why laughing you may ask?
Because through all the tears I’ve cried laughing turned into a must.
One quote couldn’t do this story justice because there are far too many that hold my erratic beating heart.
Madship is a legend, a legend that turns into a legacy, a legacy we will all hold on to, forever if we must.
So after all these riddles did we get the answers we so desperately wanted?
This story was FILLED with information, so I will try to do my best as to my opinion and review of it. Here goes:
I enjoyed this story and thought it was good, filled with movement and action. There was not one pause during this story to let it all sink in. I need that at times when there is so much to learn. I felt a bit overwhelmed at the end and needed time to resonate with everything.
Some of my questions were anwsered, but some weren’t. I get that this is a long series of books, but this read as a slice/chapter of a longer story (rather then a standalone within a series); definitely not a stand alone. This story felt less dark and gritty from the first two and I did not connect to the feeling and emotions this story invoked as much as the previous stories. I do love the dynamics between all of the Kings and Madison (that bonus scene was HOT).
I wanted more from Madison and Bishop’s relationship, I felt a bit let down and I can’t explain why. Every time I think I can explain why, it doesn’t feel right. I did not feel like this was the end of these two, it felt unfinished to me. Not as a story line on a larger scale, just between the two of them. They were still fighting and then everything was okay… See having trouble finding the right words to explain. I guess, things just wrapped up to quick and neat for my taste.
I do feel that this was a great addition to the series, but I think to fully enjoy it I needed to re-read Silver Swan and Broken Puppet before this one. There were small things that I forgot or missed because it had been some time since the last story. Oh… and on a smaller note, there were a few editing errors: words were left out, missing quotation marks, and the order of words.
I look forward to the next installment in this series, hopefully that will be Nick and Tillie’s story! This author is amazing and this was an enjoyable “chapter” in a larger story. Can’t wait to see how this entire story plays out!

This isn’t a fairytale with a happily ever after. There’s no prince charming and no damsel in distress. This isn’t some childhood fantasy, this is the real thing. With several Kings, assholes, mystery, angst & a whole lotta sass. Forget what you thought you knew. Welcome to the story of your nightmares!
Tacet a Mortuis by Amo Jones is the third instalment of The Elite Kings Club series and is a story that can’t be placed under just one category. It’s a story that transcends all expectations. A story about love, about survival, mystery, tradition & loyalty. It’s a thriller that will have you shaking in your shoes, whether it be because you’re frightened or excited, it doesn’t matter. You can’t read these books as a standalone, you have to start from the beginning because you’ll have no clue whats going on, despite my screaming WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING?!!! about 50 billion times throughout the entire book.
To be very honest, I haven’t been able to get particularly hooked with the last two books because I felt like something was sorely lacking. And despite, being lured in by the mystery and thrills, I was still very much on the fence. But this book was the game changer for me. Not only was it wonderfully and perfectly executed, there was so much depth to each and every one of the characters that it blew my mind with every word I read. The pace and plot are timed to perfection with every twist and turn bigger and better than the previous. It takes a lot to have me gobsmacked, but this book wins the internet for me. Amo Jones is one of my go-to authors and she feeds my dark cravings but not only did it fully sate my needs but had me craving more.
With this book, Amo Jones provided the perfect blend of action, romance, deception & angst. It’s lethal combination that had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. If you’re caught up with this series, you’ll know the previous book lefts us panting and itching for more. We were left with a whole lot of unanswered questions and if you were like me, it drove me absolutely up the wall not knowing what was going to happen. So many questions, so many twists and yet Amo Jones managed to answer our questions sufficiently while providing even more goosebump worthy moments.
The book starts off with an absolute BANG! and I mean shit gets revealed and I was sitting there like DAAAAAAAAAMMMNNN! I was so hooked on this like a fat kid on cake. Because those almost sex scenes at the beginning had me panting so bad, only to get so mad and proceed to cuss out the author because ya girl is always getting cockblocked by damn fictional characters always interrupting *insert eye roll here*.
“Get out, Kitty, before I fuck you so hard, you’ll be calling me Bishop.”
And you’ll know what I’m talking about because I know for a second there I was picturing myself mounting Nate and not giving a damn about the consequences. That little forbidden treat right there had me going Bishop, who? but goddamn if I didn’t wave at my screen going I volunteer as tribute! I’d love to call ya Bishop, Nate! . But you guessed it, despite holding it out for Madship, the first sexy scene is between Nate and Mads and I’m just ALL for it. But don’t be discouraged cos Madison loves to get hot and heavy with her Kings *winks with both eyes*.
And you know who the real surprise for this book was? Bishop. I was starting to think he was growing a vagina all in his feels and going soft on everyone. But damn, he showed up and he didn’t come to play! You know the best version of Bishop? The psychotic and mean one. He does things to my body. And that might sound deluded as hell, but when he’s being an asshole, adds that sexy scowl and takes off his shirt? YES PLEASE!!! Ya girl melted into a puddle of goo that I wish Bishop used to rub all over his muscles *smirks*
As I continued to read on, I began to realise that Bishop was just calculated. He was testing the waters. He wasn’t going soft on Madison. He’s struggling with his feelings for her and it consumed him. But these two, they’re toxic together when they want to be. They can be impulsive, they can be heated and they can love so deeply, so psychotically, it’ll move mountains. Asshole Bishop comes out to play so much more in this book but I think what I love about Amo’s heroes? They’re biggest assholes on this earth but when they love? They love so deep, it’s impossible to break.
Madison is such a strong heroine, exceptionally strong. My heart bled for her, it cried for her & it loved for her. She’s been through so much and look at how well she’s come out in the end. She’s brave, loyal, compassionate & loves harder than I’ve ever seen. She’s confused a lot, and who wouldn’t be after what’s been revealed in this book? She makes stupid decisions (she’s human) without thinking sometimes but I love how she compliments Bishop’s personality. What alchemy of sexual desire, emotional connection, temperamental similarity and personal courage does it take for two people to actively love each other? They were made for each other. Both hard-headed and stubborn but fuck me, if they don’t have the hottest sex I’ve ever read about it. Whether it’s shower sex, sleepy sex or angry sex, it’s just as hot and my libido thanks Amo Jones for words *winks with both eyes *.
There is also, so much angst in this book. All my favourite people be all up in their emotions and my cold heart couldn’t handle it. And while Bishop and Madi stole my attention, it was the beginning of the love triangle between Nate, Tate and Tillie that brought me to my knees. It says a lot about an author when there is so much emotion wrought from their minor characters and it affects you more than the main characters. I haven’t even hear their story, just what Amo’s shown us and my heart already broke. I could feel the heartbreak, the angst and how much it was killing my boy Nate. I couldn’t stop crying and I can’t wait to see how the author writes their story. It’s going to be some deep as hell shit and I’m not readddyyyy!
I know I have a lot more to say about this book but I won’t be able to properly do it justice. I’m just so excited for the rest of this series. While we did get answers to some questions, secrets uncovered and a hundred year old traditions being broken, we’ve only just begun folks, and I’m excited for it and dreading it at the same time. One of the best works I’ve read by this author, I’m proud of how far she’s come and it totally tells in her books, because they get better every damn time. You guys are not ready for what’s about to come! Coming May 14th!
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED Amo Jones

This book has done everything Amo Jones set out to have it to. It wrapped up Madison and Bishops story and opened up several new story lines to keep the reader intrigued and satisfied with the continuation of this series.
Seriously if you do not have the biggest book crush on bishop I dont know if we can be friends hes everything I love in a sexy alpha male. As leader of his generation of the elite kings he exhibits all of the possessive traits to keep the reader interested in him, while slowly opening up throughought this book more than we have seen him do in the past which made me fall head over heels even more.
Amo has upped the action in this book and we get to see the kings rally as a force to be reckoned with. I loved everything about this book. This series has quickly become one of my favorites. If you haven’t read it yet you really need to.

“Now, can you ride on my dick for a few hours so we can sleep.”
Oh lawwd Bishop and his dirty fckn mouth!!!
Hold up, let’s start by saying;
FCKING EPIC READ! GAAWD I’M GLAD THIS STORY IS A PART OF ME. So Glad!
AND ONCE AGAIN THE QUEEN FCKED ME UP I CAN’T EVEN FUNCTION RIGHT. ARRGHHHHHHH!!!!!
First of all these characters. Amo really gets in deep with her characters. Like, she particularly goes in her character’s head and write her stories from it. Despite the fact that she’s practically their mom, she really created them and then expose every inch of them in her stories. Respect to you ma’am, it’s a tough job but tough is Amo’s middle name so it’s her piece of cake! This is the third book of the Elite King’s Club books and it just picked up where it left things off from the second book. This book you gotta read! Everything makes more sense now. I couldn’t even put my kindle down. I immediately got sucked in to this dark & twisted world. It was like when i opened my kindle and start the first few words into the story my bright room instantly got darker, like some piece of cloud went above me and my kindle and that’s when my imagination took over. It was like my mind was begging to get fcked up, knowing what i was walking into but didn’t stop. When i was half way through this book, it became to play in my head like a frickn movie, so many things happening at once i felt greedy, wanting them all, like a kid in a candy store , i was so lost in all the goodness, i was like a junkie looking for her next high and it was everywhere, so i got high and never wanted to come back to reality. Amazing amazing story!
“I. Don’t. Share. Madison. Ever.”
Goodness!
Bishop was still the same broody-ness and still the same possessiveness. Gosh he’s a sexy muthaafukaah! His cocky expressions at times got me weak. I swear my imagination goes wild and beyond at the mention of his name, it doesn’t help that he knows the right thing to say. His hard personality is one thing and his caveman is another, and because Madison brings out all these emotions and action out of him it is one of the best thing to ever happen in this book. I can’t begin to explain how much i love them for each other. So fcking perfect! I never and ever would hate on a sassy character, especially when it’s written by Amo. I loved how defiant she was towards the Kings. Loved it so much. And Tatum gaaawd she’s next level sass. That girl does the idgaf attitude just right. Tillie, I’m beginning to understand her, i didn’t hate her, i just didn’t see her how i wanted to see her, but she got me curious to read her story. Nate was a walking talking contradiction, he was sexy in his own way. These characters are too much yet here I am still wanting more. But overall what kept me turning pages was Bishop and Madison’s love. Their love confused the fck out of me. It gave me the biggest whiplash, one minute they’re fcking the next they’re killing each other. It was the hottest sh*t ever. I loved that Madison test the hell out of Bishop’s patience, that is to live for. I can’t for the life of me express in words how i feel when Madison brings Bishop to his knees.
“You’re the only person walking this earth that could ever figure me out. You’re the only fucking person walking this earth that I truly know I’d kill a motherfucker for, and you’re the only fucking girl walking this earth that has me.”
“Has you?” I whispered”
This part got me in the feels. This is the closest thing to saying he loved her that he’s ever said to her, the first time for him to admit he’s feeling something for her and it did something to my heart, boy did it. In my head he sounded so vulnerable and lost and that’s how i pictured him.
“You’ve always had me, Madison. You know that.”
This strong, brood,sexy guy looking all lost and sh*t, that’s fcking hot, i swooned the whole dang time. Gosh how i wish i was Madison, on the receiving end of his affection. I wish i had you too Bishop! (*cries*)
Butterflies every fricknn where!.
Let’s not get started with that plot twist. Sheesh! My emotions were everywhere. I felt Tate’s pain so much. Tillie was another story. Daemon, my gosh he was the epitome of mysterious. I had no control over my emotions and i didn’teven know what to feel.
I cried so damn much. So many things i can’t say or i might spoil this book. Y’all need to get hit hard like it hit me.
The love triangle between Tate, Nate and Tillie gave me some kind of angst i really didn’t like. I wanted to jump in Nates head and figure it out for myself. So dang twisted and confusing yet so good. My feelings had like a love-hate relationship with this whole thing, messed it up & let it fck with my head good but also fck you for making me feel like this.I guess it should happen otherwise this book would be a big nothing! I wouldn’t change this story if i had the chance to, loved how deep and raw my feelings were while reading it. Loved that it made sense to me now, loved that it was one big ass movie in my head, loved that i was connected the whole time with this story. One of my best reads this year! Buy the whole series, it’ll worth all your penny.
GET THIS AWESOME BOOK. GET IT NOW!

“This shit with you and I, it’s always been messy, fucking chaotic, but that’s just us. Don’t resent that, baby.”
This isn’t a story you can just jump into unprepared. Not only should you make sure to read The Silver Swan and The Broken Puppet, but you should just prepare. There was so much going on, that sometimes I had to take a break to go back and re-read what I though I’d read.
This story is complex and twisted, and it completely devoured me. End review.
Tacet began where The Broken Puppet left off, and it was intense. The story dove right back in and from the first pages it never let up. Every chapter brought something new to light, challenged something I thought I knew, or introduced something I’d never guessed. There is SO MUCH going on in this story, that with each book I just want more.
Definitely a series that keeps me hooked, no matter the time between releases. I love mystery, intrigue, plot twists, and the dark twisted behind the scenes craziness that happens.

Amo Jones is the Queen of dark romance!!! You can see why after reading Tacet a Mortuis, the third book in the Elite Kings Club series. This book is not a stand alone, the first two books in the series must be read. This story is a roller coaster of emotion, twists and turns, just like Madison and Bishop’s unconventional love.
Tacet a Mortuis is undeniably raw and beautifully written. With each book in the series Amo’s writing just gets better and better, and with this book from beginning to end it was absolute dark perfection!

OMG I have just finished this work of twisted brilliance and my emotions and thoughts are still all over the place….in a good way though.
This is the third instalment in the Elite Kings Clubs Series and if you haven’t read the first 2 books then this one will make no sense and you need to give yourself a slap for not reading them before now and fix that mistake straight away. So if you have read the other books then you kow that you shouldn’t expect HEA, romance and happiness. That is not the way Amo’s brilliantly warped mind works but OMG has she struck serious diamonds with this twisted instalment.
These Elite Kings are beyond describable. Up until this point they had all given you reasons to hate them but oh how they have now made you want them in this book. The rules are only their rules and heaven help you if you cross them or break one.
Amo has delivered another fantastic tale filled with twists, turns, OMFG thoughts. once you start this masterpiece you will not be able to put it down until you have finished as you will be 100% addicted.
I am equally scared and eager for the next instalment in this twisted series
An ending without ending but the story continues…
***I received this arc in exchange for my honest thoughts. I was no way told what to write or say this is all me, myself and I***
I got a copy of the book in exchange of an honest review.
~~~Erika, Book Haven Book Blog
I want to start by saying I loved every single minute of this crazy ride; I even set my alarm clock to wake me up 2 hours before I needed to so I could get some extra reading in before work. I’m still not sure I fully understand what the hell is going on and I am still connecting the dots long after the last page was read! But what I will say is Amo has nailed once again… has left me speechless yet again! I always finish this authors book with a WTAF and this was no exception. Mind has been completely blown!
Told from a dual POV; the book takes one crazy turn after another; just when you have one questioned answered another 10 or more are born. I loved every single character and this whole Latin thing just created a whole erotic, mystery feel to the story. I have laughed, I have cried and I have experience every emotion in between at times holding my breath to scared to breathe. Bishop just made my spine tingle in the most delicious of ways, the whole manly, dominant, alpha thing… yeah! He had that going on in spades!
This is a difficult book to review because all I want to say is just read the damn series. If you love messed up, dark, suspense, enjoy spending 99% of the book in utter confusion waiting for the penny to drop then this book is perfect for you and this author should be top of your hit list for one clicking!
Book 3 in The Elite Kings Club series, you must read books 1 & 2 before this if you are to stand any chance of understanding just WTF is going on, and even then its a hell of a Mind Fuck!! I’ve had to give this a couple of days before reviewing!!
So I went into this thinking that this was the conclusion of the series, but err no its not, and although we get a lot of answers in this, it also produces and shit load more of questions!!!
You will be confused, but its twisted and captivating and you just cannot put it down.
Bishop, what can I say, no matter how mean and awful he is, I just can’t help loving him more and more, such a brilliant anti hero character!! Madison in this really did get on my nerves quite a bit, she’s very immature and did some very unnecessary actions designed to poke and provoke, and boy it worked!!! Its not until later on in the book when their relationship really develops with a highly descriptive and emotional part that made me fall even more for Bishop, and Madison books her ideas up from hereon in and their relationship blossoms. The sexual tension and scenes in here are massively hot between Bishop and Madison, in fact where any of the Kings are concerned, they are just one mass of walking sexual objects, totally hawt!!
Head is still spinning, I’m emotionally drained and like wiped out, but this was so good, even though I have a thousand and one questions still spinning around in there. A brilliantly unusual series, not one to be missed if you like something out of the ordinary, I can’t wait to read more, after a while in recovery that is!!!
An absolute phenomenal conclusion to an epic series that left me speechless! It consumed my heart and soul.This riveting series has everything you would want and crave in a dark and twisted romance.It was dripping with so much sexual tension,chemistry and raw emotions that you will want to savor every bit of this book.This is definitely my new favorite from this author!
It’s been worth the wait for this book!
This is the next instalment of the Bishop/Madison romance but a lot is mainly from Bishop’s point of view. I don’t want to say too much or it will spoil it for you and you NEED to read this book!
Lies and deception are still the order of the day, puzzle pieces are still being pushed around but slowly they begin to be placed into their allotted spots. Madison’s catch cry “I need answers, I just need answers!'” is very understandable as as a reader you feel the same!
Although very dark there are some lighter moments that really balance things out. For example when Madison, Bishop, Justin and Khales arrive at a nightclub and Madison sees the range of people’s ages lined up outside. She thinks to herself…”..Putting up with little kids has to like, I don’t know, offer some sort of advantage. Free wine and first priority into clubs.” I love it!
The journey takes us through some normal and not so normal young adult experiences, their lives like a nonstop roller coaster of activity and excitement. The wealth these characters have at their fingertips is amazing. The sensual side of Bishop and Madison’s relationship is still extremely intense and not just in a sexual manner. And can I just say..he does buy over the top but fantastic presents!
It is also great to get to know some of the older characters in this series better like Nate and Bishop’s mothers. They lend a completely different yet extremely important aspect to the storyline, the parallels are great too.
Talk about an emotional ride..no usual ride could be used to describe it, it was more than a Helter skelter or roller coaster, it was everything together!
Once again, you nailed it Amo Jones!
Silver Swan and Broken Puppet gave us the first parts of this story, and you have to read those books to understand what happens in TAM. This is the third book in the Elite King’s Club series, where secrets and surprises are revealed, some of which could break a lesser person. I have loved this series so far, and though it is twisted and dark, there are moments that peek through and bring some brightness into their story. I loved Bishop in this book. Madison had some good moments in here, but I felt as though she had not progressed much beyond the way she was in Broken Puppet. Overall, this has been an amazing series though, with some great characters and gripping scenes.
Where do I even begin with this book?
Amo Jones is always a phenomenal writer. She’s one of those authors that I stalk because her books leave me craving more. Once you’re on the last page, it makes you question EVERYTHING you just read and want to re-read it all over with new eyes.
Nothing could be more true with The Elite Kings Club books. And the latest, Tacet a Mortuis, will leave you with not only a broken kindle because you threw it across the room a million times. But you’ll be constantly telling yourself: “WTF?” “How?” “Wait. What?” “Hold up.” “OMG!”
The third book in Bishop and Madison’s story – make sure you read Silver Swan and Broken Puppet first – takes us places we’ve not really been before. Seeing insight to different characters, their dynamic. Who they are to one another. Different locations, and answers to some of the questions we’ve all had – only to leave us with more.
Bishop is the King. He steals the show, for quite obvious reasons. I loved him, his character and his strength. He’s calculated, cool, confident and an absolutely stunning character. I really wished there was more from his point of view. Being in his head was thrilling.
My problem with this book was with Madison. As much as I loved her in Silver Swan and Broken Puppet, I feel like her character didn’t really grow from BP to TAM. When she had a problem – she did the same thing she did in the previous books. Which was really disappointing, to me, and why I am giving this book 4.5 stars.
I know that there is more to this series. I know the answers are coming and I know this isn’t the last we’ll see of these characters. I can’t wait for more! Amo is one of my FAVORITE authors and Im always left speechless when I’m done.
There once was a woman who thought words were her weapon.
Oh a fantastic weapon it was.
After one book turned into many.. this last one made me laugh.
Why laughing you may ask?
Because through all the tears I’ve cried laughing turned into a must.
One quote couldn’t do this story justice because there are far too many that hold my erratic beating heart.
Madship is a legend, a legend that turns into a legacy, a legacy we will all hold on to, forever if we must.
So after all these riddles did we get the answers we so desperately wanted?
Riddle me this: something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue..
This story was FILLED with information, so I will try to do my best as to my opinion and review of it. Here goes:
I enjoyed this story and thought it was good, filled with movement and action. There was not one pause during this story to let it all sink in. I need that at times when there is so much to learn. I felt a bit overwhelmed at the end and needed time to resonate with everything.
Some of my questions were anwsered, but some weren’t. I get that this is a long series of books, but this read as a slice/chapter of a longer story (rather then a standalone within a series); definitely not a stand alone. This story felt less dark and gritty from the first two and I did not connect to the feeling and emotions this story invoked as much as the previous stories. I do love the dynamics between all of the Kings and Madison (that bonus scene was HOT).
I wanted more from Madison and Bishop’s relationship, I felt a bit let down and I can’t explain why. Every time I think I can explain why, it doesn’t feel right. I did not feel like this was the end of these two, it felt unfinished to me. Not as a story line on a larger scale, just between the two of them. They were still fighting and then everything was okay… See having trouble finding the right words to explain. I guess, things just wrapped up to quick and neat for my taste.
I do feel that this was a great addition to the series, but I think to fully enjoy it I needed to re-read Silver Swan and Broken Puppet before this one. There were small things that I forgot or missed because it had been some time since the last story. Oh… and on a smaller note, there were a few editing errors: words were left out, missing quotation marks, and the order of words.
I look forward to the next installment in this series, hopefully that will be Nick and Tillie’s story! This author is amazing and this was an enjoyable “chapter” in a larger story. Can’t wait to see how this entire story plays out!
This isn’t a fairytale with a happily ever after. There’s no prince charming and no damsel in distress. This isn’t some childhood fantasy, this is the real thing. With several Kings, assholes, mystery, angst & a whole lotta sass. Forget what you thought you knew. Welcome to the story of your nightmares!
Tacet a Mortuis by Amo Jones is the third instalment of The Elite Kings Club series and is a story that can’t be placed under just one category. It’s a story that transcends all expectations. A story about love, about survival, mystery, tradition & loyalty. It’s a thriller that will have you shaking in your shoes, whether it be because you’re frightened or excited, it doesn’t matter. You can’t read these books as a standalone, you have to start from the beginning because you’ll have no clue whats going on, despite my screaming WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING?!!! about 50 billion times throughout the entire book.
To be very honest, I haven’t been able to get particularly hooked with the last two books because I felt like something was sorely lacking. And despite, being lured in by the mystery and thrills, I was still very much on the fence. But this book was the game changer for me. Not only was it wonderfully and perfectly executed, there was so much depth to each and every one of the characters that it blew my mind with every word I read. The pace and plot are timed to perfection with every twist and turn bigger and better than the previous. It takes a lot to have me gobsmacked, but this book wins the internet for me. Amo Jones is one of my go-to authors and she feeds my dark cravings but not only did it fully sate my needs but had me craving more.
With this book, Amo Jones provided the perfect blend of action, romance, deception & angst. It’s lethal combination that had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. If you’re caught up with this series, you’ll know the previous book lefts us panting and itching for more. We were left with a whole lot of unanswered questions and if you were like me, it drove me absolutely up the wall not knowing what was going to happen. So many questions, so many twists and yet Amo Jones managed to answer our questions sufficiently while providing even more goosebump worthy moments.
The book starts off with an absolute BANG! and I mean shit gets revealed and I was sitting there like DAAAAAAAAAMMMNNN! I was so hooked on this like a fat kid on cake. Because those almost sex scenes at the beginning had me panting so bad, only to get so mad and proceed to cuss out the author because ya girl is always getting cockblocked by damn fictional characters always interrupting *insert eye roll here*.
“Get out, Kitty, before I fuck you so hard, you’ll be calling me Bishop.”
And you’ll know what I’m talking about because I know for a second there I was picturing myself mounting Nate and not giving a damn about the consequences. That little forbidden treat right there had me going Bishop, who? but goddamn if I didn’t wave at my screen going I volunteer as tribute! I’d love to call ya Bishop, Nate! . But you guessed it, despite holding it out for Madship, the first sexy scene is between Nate and Mads and I’m just ALL for it. But don’t be discouraged cos Madison loves to get hot and heavy with her Kings *winks with both eyes*.
And you know who the real surprise for this book was? Bishop. I was starting to think he was growing a vagina all in his feels and going soft on everyone. But damn, he showed up and he didn’t come to play! You know the best version of Bishop? The psychotic and mean one. He does things to my body. And that might sound deluded as hell, but when he’s being an asshole, adds that sexy scowl and takes off his shirt? YES PLEASE!!! Ya girl melted into a puddle of goo that I wish Bishop used to rub all over his muscles *smirks*
As I continued to read on, I began to realise that Bishop was just calculated. He was testing the waters. He wasn’t going soft on Madison. He’s struggling with his feelings for her and it consumed him. But these two, they’re toxic together when they want to be. They can be impulsive, they can be heated and they can love so deeply, so psychotically, it’ll move mountains. Asshole Bishop comes out to play so much more in this book but I think what I love about Amo’s heroes? They’re biggest assholes on this earth but when they love? They love so deep, it’s impossible to break.
Madison is such a strong heroine, exceptionally strong. My heart bled for her, it cried for her & it loved for her. She’s been through so much and look at how well she’s come out in the end. She’s brave, loyal, compassionate & loves harder than I’ve ever seen. She’s confused a lot, and who wouldn’t be after what’s been revealed in this book? She makes stupid decisions (she’s human) without thinking sometimes but I love how she compliments Bishop’s personality. What alchemy of sexual desire, emotional connection, temperamental similarity and personal courage does it take for two people to actively love each other? They were made for each other. Both hard-headed and stubborn but fuck me, if they don’t have the hottest sex I’ve ever read about it. Whether it’s shower sex, sleepy sex or angry sex, it’s just as hot and my libido thanks Amo Jones for words *winks with both eyes *.
There is also, so much angst in this book. All my favourite people be all up in their emotions and my cold heart couldn’t handle it. And while Bishop and Madi stole my attention, it was the beginning of the love triangle between Nate, Tate and Tillie that brought me to my knees. It says a lot about an author when there is so much emotion wrought from their minor characters and it affects you more than the main characters. I haven’t even hear their story, just what Amo’s shown us and my heart already broke. I could feel the heartbreak, the angst and how much it was killing my boy Nate. I couldn’t stop crying and I can’t wait to see how the author writes their story. It’s going to be some deep as hell shit and I’m not readddyyyy!
I know I have a lot more to say about this book but I won’t be able to properly do it justice. I’m just so excited for the rest of this series. While we did get answers to some questions, secrets uncovered and a hundred year old traditions being broken, we’ve only just begun folks, and I’m excited for it and dreading it at the same time. One of the best works I’ve read by this author, I’m proud of how far she’s come and it totally tells in her books, because they get better every damn time. You guys are not ready for what’s about to come! Coming May 14th!
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED Amo Jones
This book has done everything Amo Jones set out to have it to. It wrapped up Madison and Bishops story and opened up several new story lines to keep the reader intrigued and satisfied with the continuation of this series.
Seriously if you do not have the biggest book crush on bishop I dont know if we can be friends hes everything I love in a sexy alpha male. As leader of his generation of the elite kings he exhibits all of the possessive traits to keep the reader interested in him, while slowly opening up throughought this book more than we have seen him do in the past which made me fall head over heels even more.
Amo has upped the action in this book and we get to see the kings rally as a force to be reckoned with. I loved everything about this book. This series has quickly become one of my favorites. If you haven’t read it yet you really need to.
5 TWISTED STARS
“Now, can you ride on my dick for a few hours so we can sleep.”
Oh lawwd Bishop and his dirty fckn mouth!!!
Hold up, let’s start by saying;
FCKING EPIC READ! GAAWD I’M GLAD THIS STORY IS A PART OF ME. So Glad!
AND ONCE AGAIN THE QUEEN FCKED ME UP I CAN’T EVEN FUNCTION RIGHT. ARRGHHHHHHH!!!!!
First of all these characters. Amo really gets in deep with her characters. Like, she particularly goes in her character’s head and write her stories from it. Despite the fact that she’s practically their mom, she really created them and then expose every inch of them in her stories. Respect to you ma’am, it’s a tough job but tough is Amo’s middle name so it’s her piece of cake! This is the third book of the Elite King’s Club books and it just picked up where it left things off from the second book. This book you gotta read! Everything makes more sense now. I couldn’t even put my kindle down. I immediately got sucked in to this dark & twisted world. It was like when i opened my kindle and start the first few words into the story my bright room instantly got darker, like some piece of cloud went above me and my kindle and that’s when my imagination took over. It was like my mind was begging to get fcked up, knowing what i was walking into but didn’t stop. When i was half way through this book, it became to play in my head like a frickn movie, so many things happening at once i felt greedy, wanting them all, like a kid in a candy store , i was so lost in all the goodness, i was like a junkie looking for her next high and it was everywhere, so i got high and never wanted to come back to reality. Amazing amazing story!
“I. Don’t. Share. Madison. Ever.”
Goodness!
Bishop was still the same broody-ness and still the same possessiveness. Gosh he’s a sexy muthaafukaah! His cocky expressions at times got me weak. I swear my imagination goes wild and beyond at the mention of his name, it doesn’t help that he knows the right thing to say. His hard personality is one thing and his caveman is another, and because Madison brings out all these emotions and action out of him it is one of the best thing to ever happen in this book. I can’t begin to explain how much i love them for each other. So fcking perfect! I never and ever would hate on a sassy character, especially when it’s written by Amo. I loved how defiant she was towards the Kings. Loved it so much. And Tatum gaaawd she’s next level sass. That girl does the idgaf attitude just right. Tillie, I’m beginning to understand her, i didn’t hate her, i just didn’t see her how i wanted to see her, but she got me curious to read her story. Nate was a walking talking contradiction, he was sexy in his own way. These characters are too much yet here I am still wanting more. But overall what kept me turning pages was Bishop and Madison’s love. Their love confused the fck out of me. It gave me the biggest whiplash, one minute they’re fcking the next they’re killing each other. It was the hottest sh*t ever. I loved that Madison test the hell out of Bishop’s patience, that is to live for. I can’t for the life of me express in words how i feel when Madison brings Bishop to his knees.
“You’re the only person walking this earth that could ever figure me out. You’re the only fucking person walking this earth that I truly know I’d kill a motherfucker for, and you’re the only fucking girl walking this earth that has me.”
“Has you?” I whispered”
This part got me in the feels. This is the closest thing to saying he loved her that he’s ever said to her, the first time for him to admit he’s feeling something for her and it did something to my heart, boy did it. In my head he sounded so vulnerable and lost and that’s how i pictured him.
“You’ve always had me, Madison. You know that.”
This strong, brood,sexy guy looking all lost and sh*t, that’s fcking hot, i swooned the whole dang time. Gosh how i wish i was Madison, on the receiving end of his affection. I wish i had you too Bishop! (*cries*)
Butterflies every fricknn where!.
Let’s not get started with that plot twist. Sheesh! My emotions were everywhere. I felt Tate’s pain so much. Tillie was another story. Daemon, my gosh he was the epitome of mysterious. I had no control over my emotions and i didn’teven know what to feel.
I cried so damn much. So many things i can’t say or i might spoil this book. Y’all need to get hit hard like it hit me.
The love triangle between Tate, Nate and Tillie gave me some kind of angst i really didn’t like. I wanted to jump in Nates head and figure it out for myself. So dang twisted and confusing yet so good. My feelings had like a love-hate relationship with this whole thing, messed it up & let it fck with my head good but also fck you for making me feel like this.I guess it should happen otherwise this book would be a big nothing! I wouldn’t change this story if i had the chance to, loved how deep and raw my feelings were while reading it. Loved that it made sense to me now, loved that it was one big ass movie in my head, loved that i was connected the whole time with this story. One of my best reads this year! Buy the whole series, it’ll worth all your penny.
GET THIS AWESOME BOOK. GET IT NOW!
“This shit with you and I, it’s always been messy, fucking chaotic, but that’s just us. Don’t resent that, baby.”
This isn’t a story you can just jump into unprepared. Not only should you make sure to read The Silver Swan and The Broken Puppet, but you should just prepare. There was so much going on, that sometimes I had to take a break to go back and re-read what I though I’d read.
This story is complex and twisted, and it completely devoured me. End review.
Tacet began where The Broken Puppet left off, and it was intense. The story dove right back in and from the first pages it never let up. Every chapter brought something new to light, challenged something I thought I knew, or introduced something I’d never guessed. There is SO MUCH going on in this story, that with each book I just want more.
Definitely a series that keeps me hooked, no matter the time between releases. I love mystery, intrigue, plot twists, and the dark twisted behind the scenes craziness that happens.
Amo Jones is the Queen of dark romance!!! You can see why after reading Tacet a Mortuis, the third book in the Elite Kings Club series. This book is not a stand alone, the first two books in the series must be read. This story is a roller coaster of emotion, twists and turns, just like Madison and Bishop’s unconventional love.
Tacet a Mortuis is undeniably raw and beautifully written. With each book in the series Amo’s writing just gets better and better, and with this book from beginning to end it was absolute dark perfection!
OMG I have just finished this work of twisted brilliance and my emotions and thoughts are still all over the place….in a good way though.
This is the third instalment in the Elite Kings Clubs Series and if you haven’t read the first 2 books then this one will make no sense and you need to give yourself a slap for not reading them before now and fix that mistake straight away. So if you have read the other books then you kow that you shouldn’t expect HEA, romance and happiness. That is not the way Amo’s brilliantly warped mind works but OMG has she struck serious diamonds with this twisted instalment.
These Elite Kings are beyond describable. Up until this point they had all given you reasons to hate them but oh how they have now made you want them in this book. The rules are only their rules and heaven help you if you cross them or break one.
Amo has delivered another fantastic tale filled with twists, turns, OMFG thoughts. once you start this masterpiece you will not be able to put it down until you have finished as you will be 100% addicted.
I am equally scared and eager for the next instalment in this twisted series
