This book is everything. I have had my questions answered that I had, I have some new ones but as we know this is a 13 book series and this book was the last of Madison and Bishop story although I am sure they will pop up in other books.
This book is so thought out and very well written. This book has it all Murder. Action. Violence! of the charts hot. This book was just brilliant. I love the chemistry between Bishop and Madison
To get inside Bishop’s head it was intense and great to see what he was thinking in certain parts. I not going to go into the storyline but it carries on from where book two left us.
It will draw you in and you will not be able to put it down you will be turning the pages until the last to find out what is going happen.
I had a roller coaster of emotions while reading such an intense read… So if you are a fan of Amo’s this book is a must read if you have read the previous books. If not what are, you waiting for it really you will not be disappointed. However, please start with book one the silver swan. To fully understand these books.
I cannot wait to see what Amo brings us next plus the next book in this series.

Oh boy do Madison and Bishop have an explosive relationship. We are far down the rabbit hole of the Kings by this point but that doesn’t stop the surprise twists from coming. While dealing with all of that Madison has to decide if she is ready to accept Bishop as he is while he struggles with how he feels for her. This makes for one doozy of a romance to say the least. A perfect read for fans of dark twisted worlds and the relationships they create. I cannot wait for the next book so we can see what happens next as well as how Nate will deal with it. A total must read. I totally loved it so I give it 5/5 stars.

Rating:
This world gets crazier with every chapter!
The following ratings are out of 5:
Romance:
Heat/Steam:
Story/Plot:
World building:
Character development:
The setting: The Hamptons, New York
The Hero(s): Bishop Vincent Hayes – The leader of the Elite Kings Club. Bishop still won’t commit to a relationship with Madison or even admit to loving her but boy does he get angry when she gets a bit frisky with Nate and Brantley.
The heroine: Madison Montgomery (a.k.a. The Silver Swan) – she is still trying to find out more about this crazy world of the Elite Kings Club and the more she finds out the crazier it gets. When she finds out some big secrets that Bishop has been keeping from her, she spirals and does some things she regrets.
The Love Story: Bishop and Madison have an intense connection. Just when I think this world can’t get any crazier, it does. However, the one thing that is good in this is the love between these two. You can tell it isn’t going away and no matter how dangerous their world is, Bishop will protect Madison.
I thought towards the end, it would start settling down a bit but the action, adventure, secrets and mysteries kept up all the way through the book. Also it was super steamy and sizzling hot. The passion between Bishop and Madison was through the roof. They both like it a bit rough so there was that as well.
Again, I love all the supporting characters, and they all played a part in this one as well. There are more that I am hoping will have stories of their own in the future because these people and this psycho world is continuing to be interesting like nobody’s business.
I don’t really understand the whole thing about killing the silver swan’s. I understand how it began with Humphrey who was obviously crazy. But in this day and age, why don’t they do away with it. I mean it seems that the people that have it done are the people in control (The Elite Kings Club) so why not just end the practice?
I voluntarily read & reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts & opinions are my own.

Tacet a Mortuis is the third installment of The Elite King series, so yes you absolutely need to read the first two before reading this one otherwise you’ll be lost.
Can you say intense? Omg Amo Jones you are the Queen of Mind*#ck! One moment I’m like WTH is going on, the next I’m like OMG!! Trust me when I say it was one hell of a ride!
Omg I love Bishop, he’s mean and a bit of a jerk, and that’s putting it nicely, but damn is he hot! He’s so badass, and yet has a sweet side he doesn’t show to often. And the love he has for Madison is so fierce!
As much as I love Madison there were a few times I wanted to grab her and shake the hell out of her! She’s to damn impulsive sometimes and it drives me nuts! But got to love her regardless.
I love this series and love Madison and Bishop even though they drive me to drink. Although a lot of my questions were answered, I was left with a few and don’t know how I’m going to find the patience to wait for the next book.
I Definitely recommend this series!

What in the hell did Amo Jones rain down on me? If I thought she had messed with my brain before with the two preceding books of the series, I hadn’t seen anything yet. Tacet a Mortuis pummeled me with its raw, gritty, and almost abrasive doses of harsh non-reality.
Throughout this story, I was confused, frustrated, at peace, and then aggravated all over again. While I got a lot of answers to my unasked questions, in the end I’m left with so many new questions. So imagine how happy I was when I got to the end and saw that a fourth book, Malum, will be coming out. I really hope it continues in the voices of Bishop and Madison because their story is most definitely not over. AND I’m not interested in reading from anyone else’s perspective.
Time to break it down without actually breaking it down. I’m not spoiling this story for anyone!
Madison
kinda still wanted to push her head through some plated glass.
still as immature and irrational as ever, however, I did see instances of her character growth so there’s hope for her yet.
in reference to her immaturity, she continued to display poor decisions by doing wrong to Bishop because she felt wronged. She was the only wrong one IMO.
the floetry was off at times. The characters would wax poetic about a topic at the most unbelievable moments. If you were fighting or running for your life, would you stop your partner and ask relationship questions? Oh Madison, you have no sense at times. “What did I do?” Yo, get out of the window. Why are you holding everyone up? You have no idea of the capabilities of the people after you yet you wanna stop and have a conversatio. How about you ask me what’s up when we’re NOT running to safety?
it was great to see her get comfortable in her own skin and own the title of Silver Swan.
loved her love for her family and friends. It made me like her more than ever before and I was crushed when her heart was irrevocably broken.
I hope to see more of her evolution as a young woman in the book to come.
Bishop
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for FINALLY giving us his POV.
Bishop was just as reckless and dangerous as ever, however, his perspective showed his heart and I loved the sweetness that hid so well beneath his darkness.
this dude still OWNED me. I honestly couldn’t’ get enough of him. Even when he did wrong, there was just something about him that always made him appealing.
at last, I know that Bishop’s feelings for Madison were genuine. And the times where he could be gentle and sensitive to her only made me love him more.
anyone else get all tingly whenever Bishop is covered in someone else’s blood?
The Rest
there are so many side stories going on, especially with Nate and Tillie, but I still don’t want the story to be about them. I want resolution, but not through their eyes. More Bishop please*fingers crossed*
I’m hoping for a resurrection. It’s possible, right? This is fiction. I’m hoping that a character that I really started to get to know to come back somehow. Make it happen!
the entire Katsia part of this story is causing a lot of conflict in my brain and I’m looking forward to how it will develop and evolve.
some parts didn’t make any sense. It sometimes read like… you ever talk with someone and they tell you part of a story and leave the rest to the imagination or they continue the story in their head but think they’re saying it out loud? That’s what it felt like. Like part of the story still lived in the author’s head and I was supposed to understand it from the clues that were given.
One thing I can always rely on when it comes to this author is a story full of surprises. I NEVER know where it’s going to lead me, if there’s going to even be a happy ending, and whether my heart will remain whole or in pieces. It’s a guaranteed mindfrack every time and I ain’t complaining.

Damn you. What the fuck?! Give me more now!!
This book killed me. Yep you read that right, listed as cause of death: Tacet a Mortuis.
I was immediately thrown back into the world of Elite Kings, mayhem and sexy times. Bishop may have stolen my heart just a tiny bit more. #Madship need I say more? No seriously, this book is amazing. Amo Jones paints us a world of truths, lies, and deceit and leaves us begging for her to do it all over again. This book answers a lot of questions and then in true form she gives us 20 thousand more.

Tacet A Mortius is the conclusion of Maddies and Bishops story so you do need to read the previous two books first.
After finishing the last book I was left with a load of questions. I was hoping for answers in this book. I feel like I should point out that whilst Tacet A Mortius is the conclusion of Maddies and Bishops story it isn’t the conclusion of the Elite Kings stories so although questions get answered, expect to still be left with some that don’t. There’s so much information thrown at you, you’re going to end up with more questions by the time you get to the end.
This book is filled with twists and turns I didn’t see coming. It’s got deception, betrayal, angst and the sexual chemistry between Maddie and Bishop is hot as hell. alBishop has got to be one of the sexiest characters of all time. There’s something about him that gives me the best kind of shivers. His alpha take charge attitude, the sweetness he hides under his darkness, there’s just something about his character that I find insanely hot.
Amo Jones’ mind must be an awesomely complicated place to be. She’s taken me on a ride that was nothing like I was expecting. Over the course of the three books I’ve felt every emotion possible. When I’d finished The Silver Swan I wasn’t sure what to think. My mind was drowning in confusion. The Broken Puppet helped to clear some of that confusion up but Tacet A Mortius gave me the answers I was desperate for. Something clicked with me with this book and all the pieces started to fit together. People weren’t who I thought they were, there was always a reason for everything even if I couldn’t see what that was straightaway.
This is a wonderfully complex story with characters that all have something that draws you to them. Whether you love or hate them, they burrow under your skin and before you know it you’re obsessed. Another fantastic book from Amo and I honestly can’t wait for more from the Elite Kings.

4.5 Stars You have no idea how many times my eyes bugged right out my head and my hand covered my mouth reading this. I had many a chapter when I was like what in the clusterf*** is happening here?! I probably hated nearly every character in this book for at least a page or two. Bishop was extra mean, Nate was off the rails, Tate was weak, Brantley was extra sullen and Tillie?! Don’t even get my started on Madison Is Madison my favourite character in this series? No. Will she ever be? Probably not. She annoyed me more than ever. But what kept me hooked was not only the plot; which I cannot even begin to put into words because it won’t make sense probably even if you’ve read this but also spoilers but the writing and the twists and the turns and the OMG moments. My heart broke at the end and I don’t see how any of this is going to shake out. But trust the process, I guess…sheesh.

Tacet a Mortuis is the third installment in the Elite Kings Club series, and after the first two books I couldn’t help but be let down by this one.
This book felt extremely repetitive, and I had a hard time keeping up with whose POV I was reading. I really had to focus sometimes just to figure out if I was reading from Madison or Bishop’s point of view since the chapters aren’t marked. The main the for me, I think, is the amount of characters this series has. There are SO many, I didn’t know who they were talking about most of the time. When I do continue with this series (my brain needs a BREAK!) I’m going to be making a key as to who’s who.
In this book, I think Madison did some pretty stupid stuff and the amount of slut shaming she did wasn’t cool. Most of these girls can’t help the situation they’re in.
MY BIGGEST issue was the big climax, that “war” scene! Literally do not get me started. It annoyed me to no end rhat Madison just HAD to go, even though I knew she would because she doesn’t listen for shit when it’s literally Bishop’s job to protect her. Then chaos ensues, Katsia gets killed, then comes back to life just so Madison can kill her again? Literally wtf. And did I read it wrong or did Bishop’s mom get shot in the NECK?? but was just… chillin? She’s fine, don’t worry about her. Bishop gets shot in the abdomen, he’s about dead, then he’s pulling Madison into him trying to protect her like nothing is wrong? One minute he can’t even speak and the next minute he’s literally fine? Nate gets stabbed in the stomach, but he’s walking like it didn’t even happen? Tatum gets stabbed, is gushing blood from her mouth, and literally says “I’m fine!” LMAO???? Idk, that whole war scene kind of felt like a joke to me, honestly.
Still giving 3 stars because this story did give us answers and set us up for the fourth book in the series, Malum!

HAIL TO THE KING!! Bishop came through in a way I never expected & that only made me love him even more. I believe I saw somewhere that this is going to be a 13 book series and if anyone can top themselves it is going to be Amo Jones. At this point I just finished book 3 and I can’t even imagine what is to come with not only Nate and Brantley but with some of the guys that we haven’t even begun to learn their story yet.
“As graceful as a floating swan, but as deadly as a silver bullet.”
Did this book go the way I expected?? HELL NO! It never does but the story for Bishop and Madi I believe was completed in a way that we get their HEA even if it is for now. I do think that there is going to be drama for them coming but at this point all I want is to read Nate’s story. I don’t think we have even begun to see who Nate is. We have seen playful and even pissed off Nate, but we haven’t seen Nate enraged yet and if anyone can do that to him it is going to be Tillie.

Tacet a Mortuis has to be my favourite in the series so far! Told in several povs we get to go inside the minds of kings and the many other realms that are not what they seem.
We see Bishop’s and Maddie’s relationship intensify in this book and become more emotional and vulnerable. It’s still hella steamy, but it becomes more open.
It’s still very much dark and dangerous, but this book is more unpredictable than the others. It has this other level of unpredictability and darkness that pulls you in without noticing. It’s an addictive kind of darkness.
We also get to see more of Daemon… Yay! My heart bled for him. I wanted to smother him with hugs, no matter the consequences.
The shock factor of this book is on a scale of inferno! It was a pure dark angsty delight that you couldn’t help but sink your claws into, and that ending, again, Wowza!
This series keeps getting better and better! It is becoming more unpredictable and darker and it is so addictive! It is sensitive for some readers, however, this author’s words wrap a spell around you, and you don’t ever want to escape.
For those who love the darkest of romances, I highly recommend this series. It is something to be savoured yet devoured. A must-read!

Holly shit. This book…it was my favourite so far. The pain, the heartbreak, I could feel it like it was my own. It was excruciating.
I love this author’s writing, it’s twisted, dark, depraved, and that’s what gives life to her books. The realness of her words, because she doesn’t write about sunshine and rainbows, she writes about real pain, real feelings. It’s fucking refreshing. And the way she uses music in her books it’s the cherry on top, because she connects the songs to their moods and emotions, making everything feel so much real.
Daemon was my favourite character so far, I don’t know why but I could relate with him. His demons, his darkness, his pain. He was suffering so fucking bad, hunted. But I never met a more perfect character. He was just special, and someone I will remember and cherish for a long time.
There was a war brewing, lines were getting blurred, they are changing the game, and I had a feeling that things were going to end up in a blood bath. I just never expected it to end this way.

It’s only getting better
I absolutely love all the mystery and suspense in this series.
And let’s give it up to Bishop our #1 a-hole that has a super sweet soft spot for his girl.
I had one disconnect and that was a certain someone’s reaction at the end. I just feel like they didn’t know each other enough for the reaction to be what it was. Yes cryptic but I try to stay away from spoilers in my reviews.
Since I’ve been binging the series on audio let me say how thrilled I was that it was dual POV.

Probably my favorite of the series, so many skeletons are unearthed, lies and truths exposed, and we finally get to dig around in the head of Bishop Vincent Hayes. Still not an overwhelming fan of most of the characters, but I can also see the growth in them and how that might change, very very soon.

Oh my gosh! This series is killing me. I don’t know how Amo Jones does it. She pulls you into her world, and you don’t want out. Seriously, this story has me tied up in knots. Bishop and Madison are . I cried over Daemon. He was a great character that I think we will hear more from even as he is gone. I felt his pain. Connecting with Madison helped him. Bishop is too hot for words! I can’t wait for more!

Magnificent, spectacular and riveting! 5 stars
Holy smokes, what a (quasi)ending to Bishop and Madison’s story! (According to the author, there will be more.) At the beginning of this book, Madison’s life was shredded into pieces, and I hurt for her. Madison and Bishop were beginning to be beautiful together, but now they were broken because of more secrets. Once Bishop finally admits how he feels about her, then they were on the road to recovery. He actually made me swoon and cry in regards to his feelings about Mads, and I did not think that would be possible! For a year, they circled each other and it was messy between them. After they both admitted and communicated their feelings, it was different and they were solid. It was glorious to read them finally being strong together and get past the drama. By the end, Mads built herself up to be strong enough to handle and withstand any challenge, and it was magnificent to read. There were so many gasp-inducing twists and turns, some made me cry some more, that kept me riveted to the pages of this spectacular book. Mads, Bishop and the Elite Kings Club have found a place in my heart forever, and I highly recommend this series!

This is book three in The Elite Kings Club series. Make sure you read The Silver Swan and The Broken Puppet before you read this story or you’ll be completely lost. This is the conclusion to Madison and Bishops story but not the end of the series as we are getting plenty more books in the series.
I loved that we got to see a little bit of Madison’s inner ‘possessive, psycho-b**ch’ mentality come out in this one. You can definitely tell that her and Bishop were a match made in Hell.
If you’ve read The Silver Swan and The Broken Puppet then you know that this storyline isn’t rainbows and butterflies, it’s ruin and rule and it’s fascinating and sucks you in.
These ELITE KINGS are something else. They don’t give a shit, they deal with things how they want and if you are in their way well…. they just stomp on you like a fly and don’t bat an eye.
This series is just addictive. I NEED the next book in the series.
This book is Fantastic…

‘ ’ ’ , ’ . ’ , .‘
