Not exactly on the top of my bucket list.
Thanks to my family’s reputation…
I’m the black sheep of this town.
While my attraction to the town Sheriff is ironic,
Carrying his baby is just plain INSANITY.
And when disaster strikes…
Will I regret ever returning to the town I fled?
And can Teddy save us when we need a … can Teddy save us when we need a hero more than ever?

I really enjoyed this riveting romance. Teddy and Madison don’t seem like a couple that fit together but, the attraction is undeniable. Madison’s concerns about her brother Jack are understandable and dangerous. All the elements come together perfectly in this entertaining book.
“Taken by the Mountain Man” (Mountain Men of Liberty Book 6) by K.C. Crowne is a good read. I enjoyed Madison and Teddy’s story. This is a great addition to this series. This story has romance, small-town life, enemies to lovers, suspense, twists, family, and more. I’m looking forward to seeing what happens next in this series. Recommend to all fans of romance, small-towns, and series.
So Enjoyed
Another in the town of Liberty. This time it brings Madison back for her father’s funeral, but it gives her a chance to see her big brother and best friend. Teddy is the sheriff now and tried to keep her out of trouble.

Coming back home with her head held high…….and the Sheriff keeping her safe from harm

Taken by the Mountain Man is the sixth book in the Mountain Men of Liberty series. It is the story of Sheriff Teddy Williams and Madison Wiley. Madison grew up in Liberty with older brother Jack and her dysfunctional and addicted parents. So family life was not chocolate chip cookies and stories for the Wiley children. Instead it was about fending for themselves and scraping by. Not to say that her parents were always bad but there were things that were definitely not good. Jack ended up getting in with a bad crowd and after being in the wrong place, at the wrong time, and with the wrong person he is convicted and sent to jail. Madison in the mean time puts her head down and graduates high school. She lits out of town as fast as she can at eighteen heading to Los Angeles, the City of Angels. She is not dreaming of stardom but of making a better life for herself and getting ahead. She works hard, lives meagerly and puts herself though college. But when her father dies, apparently committing suicide, she returns home to Liberty. This trip is not what she expected in a lot of ways, including the handsome, sexy and older Sheriff Williams. But when new family drama and danger comes to town will Madison get caught up in it or will Teddy step in and save her. After all there are some major sparks flying between the Sheriff and the beautiful and feisty young daughter with the Wiley last name. Let’s just say that the town gossips get a lot to talk about but both Teddy and Madison don’t care.
This is a well written book with a wonderful story that is highly entertaining and a fun read. Madison is a young woman who has intelligence, tenacity, a sharp wit, a smart mouth and a backbone that will not bend. Teddy falls for the beautiful Madison and is going to do whatever it takes to keep her safe as she is determined to get to the bottom of what her brother is dealing with now that he has been released and is back in Liberty also.
I received a copy of this book for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
Madison is back for her father’s funeral when Teddy pulls her over for speeding. She’s a little smart mouthed to him but he only gives her a warning. Madison reconnects with a friend as she wonders if she’ll see her brother now that he’s out of jail. While they are eating in a local place she overhears a local bad mouthing her family to Teddy and speaks up for her family causing a stir. Sparks fly between Teddy and Madison every time they are together. When she runs into her brother after the funeral he is acting weird and wanting her to leave for California immediately, This makes her want to stay and investigate things to help clear her brother’s name. Can Teddy convince her to give this up? What will people think about them being together? Is she putting herself in more danger just by being there?
This is an amazing story that once I started it I couldn’t put it down. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.
