Taken from Earth and used like a lab rat… her heart pound. But she can’t want an alien like that… can she?
He doesn’t have time to rescue a human…
Oz is on Kilrym for a reason, and it’s not to rescue the ethereal performer who captivates him by night. But covert ops are impossible when his mind is on the human who could be his fated mate. War is on the horizon, but what if the only way to save his people is to sacrifice Emily?
Despite the fact that they were born light years apart, they are a perfect match. But Oz is keeping secrets, and when Emily finds out the truth she may never be able to forgive him, no matter how much she needs him to survive and escape the planet alive.
Synnr’s Saint kicks off the Zulir Warrior Mates action/adventure science fiction romance series. The heroines were abducted from Earth, but they’re ready to fight back alongside their alien warrior mates.

Most of the stories I read about abduction by aliens it is usually the aliens taking women. This story give a different twist. After all humans are not only females, right?

There’s a very pre-US Civil War/Civil War era theme at the start of this new series: humans have been taken from earth and brought to a new planet, something that has clearly been ongoing for sometime. The faction that lives on this new planet sees humans as pets to perform for their entertainment, and a tool to be used to gain more physical power, at the expense of the human of course. The faction residing on the moon is against the abuse of the humans and advocates that they be treated as any citizen, and not be treated as a lesser being. But even among those on the moon who want to liberate the humans, there are many who still don’t see them as completely equal. They aren’t in favor of enslaving humans, but they don’t want to interact with them. They are against the cruel abuse of humans, but still think it’s okay to do things to the humans without their consent. In short, many of them are against abuse of humans, but they really don’t see them as equal.
Oz certainly becomes one who sees humans as equals in all ways, especially after meeting Emily. Emily has befriended a small group of humans who are prisoners for experiments and entertainment who become caught up in an intelligence gathering mission by Oz and one of his crewmates.
Emily, Oz, and their respective “crews” are thrown into this sudden escape/rescue mission with little planning, and, on Oz and Solan’s case, without the consent of their captain. Emily is assaulted with a barrage of new information about the socio-political climate of the Zulir, pulled in one direct and another while trying to escape the hostile planet, learning new information about her fellow captives and their situations, and becoming the match to the alien who helped rescue her.
This was such a great book that I couldn’t put it down, it grabbed me form the beginning. The author made it a very interesting start of a new series based on alien/human’s with a planet having a civil war. It’s Oz and Emily’s story, they were well rounded and the story had suspense, adventure twists, turns and romance. It was a good start to a new series.

This is the 4th book I’ve read written by Kate Rudolph; she has done a great job at writing a good book; I can’t wait to read more of her books.
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.
I loved the characters.

There is a lot to like about this new series Zulir Warriors by Kate Rudolph. Oz is an undercover Zulir infiltrating the enemy Apsyn’s world. The problem is the Zulirs and the Aspyns were once one race, but are now at odds. Emily was kidnaped from Earth by the Apsyns, crudely experimented on, and made to entertain them if she wanted some peace. Here’s where I got confused. The author kept going back over and over again about the conflict between the 2 groups, went over and over what a Match was, and over and over his and her conflicted feelings. That got to be a bit too much for me. I found myself skimming through a lot of the repetitive stuff. But overall, I liked the book, I enjoyed the interaction and chemistry between Oz and Emily and I thought the set up for the next book was great.

An enjoyable read and an exciting introduction to a new series!
by sewsummore
Emily had been abducted from Earth and had become a slave for Apsyn aliens. She had once been trained as a lawyer but now was forced to participate in painful experiments. Emily and several other humans saw a chance to escape and would have been quickly re-captured if not for the help of several undercover spies. Oz was working undercover when he first saw Emily, he felt compelled to try and save her by offering to purchase her from her masters. His offer was refused but, when he saw a group of humans escaping he gave them aid and was able to send several of the humans who had been hurt back to his base for care. Unfortunately, there was not enough room for them all to leave together and Oz and Emily were forced to remain behind. Ther were almost caught twice and had bonded over their time together. This was an exciting read and an introduction to a new series. Ox and Emily became matched, where their electricity in their bodies became useful for protection and could also be used as a weapon.

Super read
A great story that grabbed me from the beginning to the end. Oz is undercover on Kilrym to find out if the rumors of experiments to increase the Apsysans powers one gets from mating is true. He attends a circus of humans who perform that has a hidden asset that can give him proof, when he sees Emily Saint doing her gymnastics act. He goes back stage and runs into Emily and is drawn to her so the next day he tries to buy her and that night a group of performers escape and they are lead by Grace (the Asset) to Oz and Solan. Only the group could not all escape to their ship so Emily volunteers to stay with Oz. When the Patrol finds them and they escape the city, will Oz tell the truth that they were not suppose to help them escape and that there is no way to return them back home to Earth which she desires? This story has chemistry, action and drama in a engaging storyline which was well written. I volunteer to read and review this ARC via Booksprout.
This is the story of Emily and Oz. She and other men and women were abducted from earth for experimentation. During the night they became entertainment to finance the experiments the aliens in Kilrym performed during the day. Oz is on mission when he sees Emily perform. He is captivated and thinks she may be his mate. Will he be able to rescue them? I enjoyed the danger, suspense and romance in this story. I received an arc of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Start of a new series that has humans being abducted and a war that is on the horizon. It is the story of Emily and her fellow humans and what happens to them. It was entertaining to read and watch as Emily and Oz meet and fall in love, maybe… It has an interesting concept and characters put in to a crazy situation that everyone must do what they must to survive and succeed. If was fun to read and introduced the series.
This Book 1 in the Warrior Mates Series is an very well-written story with amazing characters that are strong, powerful and arrogant. EQUALITY IS FOR EVERYONE
I received this book for free and am giving my honest and voluntary review
Emily Saint is an Earthling that was abducted and taken to an alien planet. Before this, she didn’t know aliens existed. Malsan Ozar, Oz, is a Zulirian, that belongs to the Synnrs, a Zulirian that believes all species are equal. He is doing an undercover operation to prevent the Apsyns, the Zulirians who believe they are the only superior species. He sees Emily and has a strange reaction to her. Several incidences make her hate him and other incidences change her mind. The story is an exceptional showcase of equality for everyone.
A hundred aliens started up at the platform where Emily Saint stood on the ledge, all waiting for her to fall to her death. Then she was flying through the air, reaching for the bar, flipping and landing on the opposite ledge. Her childhood gymnastics training served her well as she was forced to perform night after night. And even if she failed and fell to the ground on occasion, they cheered even louder. And if she tried to do something easier, like a cartwheel, while her sprained ankle gave her pain, they would grumble because they knew it was easy for her. Because they still wanted more, she continued her performance and ignored the pain. When her performance ended, they cheered wildly. Their captive animal had done well. Emily and the other Earth captives must entertain or die. And the rest of the time, they become medical lab rats.
Malsan Ozar (“Oz”) was a Synnr on a mission and had to remember not to stare at the captivating woman. The Apsyns saw anyone who wasn’t Zulir as an animal, incapable of thought or feeling, and certainly not worthy of attraction. There was no obvious difference between Apsyn and Synnr. Their differences were political and philosophical, not physical. The Zulir were a people divided. And war was coming.
This is a new series that will definitely keep the reader’s interest. Emily is not only a capable gymnast but a smart lawyer, skills which will serve her well in her present and future situation as she and the other humans get caught up in a political war. Because she turned out to be Oz’s mate, his distraction with her jeopardizes the mission. Grab your copy and see if everything works out despite all the twists and turns!
I wasn’t sure I was going to like this story when I read the introduction, but I’ve read a lot of books by this author, so I had faith. The first couple of chapters were a challenge to get through, but after that I got caught up in the story. I have to give the author credit, it takes a lot to build a complete new world, characters and society, than use what she has already has established for her characters. The drama and romance that she weaves around Emily and Oz and the mystique of the mating bond ensures that I’m hooked and ready to read on, waiting for a sequel. Good job.

High flying action and adventure!
I really, really enjoyed this book, and I am so looking forward to the rest of this series!
Emily is such a strong female lead character; in a truly difficult situation, abducted and abused, she showed her strength and fortitude, enduring horrible experiments and putting on stunning performances.
I liked how Emily and Oz worked together as a team, saving each other, which created the bond, rather than having the bond created through intimacy. Intimacy-induced bonding is such a common trope, that it’s refreshing to see it done differently.
Ten out of ten, would recommend, and I can’t wait for Synnr’s Hope.
This was a good alien abduct human females, book. With, Emily having to preform treats for the aliens and they are also doing experimenting on them, but Oz is different and better and loving. I enjoyed reading this book.

I just loved this book. It was so well-written that it captured my mind and I was dragged along for the ride. Once I started reading I could not put it down until I read the last page.
