Taken from Earth and used like a lab rat… her heart pound. But she can’t want an alien like that… can she?
He doesn’t have time to rescue a human…
Oz is on Kilrym for a reason, and it’s not to rescue the ethereal performer who captivates him by night. But covert ops are impossible when his mind is on the human who could be his fated mate. War is on the horizon, but what if the only way to save his people is to sacrifice Emily?
Despite the fact that they were born light years apart, they are a perfect match. But Oz is keeping secrets, and when Emily finds out the truth she may never be able to forgive him, no matter how much she needs him to survive and escape the planet alive.
Synnr’s Saint kicks off the Zulir Warrior Mates action/adventure science fiction romance series. The heroines were abducted from Earth, but they’re ready to fight back alongside their alien warrior mates.

The plot and characters are wonderful. If you love aliens who kidnap human women this is a must-read for you. I volunteered to read an advance copy for an honest review.
Emily is in hell. She is a slave being tortured with experiments by day and forced to perform death-defying acts at night. She and the other captives long for and plan for escape. Oz is the same race as the inhabitants of the planet, but he is from the planet’s moon. His people are not cruel and debased, and he and the crew are there trying to get one of their assets out. When Oz sees Emily perform, he is entranced and vows to set her free. This is an exciting adventure tale about life, love and self-determination. And a great start to a new series!
Emily, a law student, was abducted by aliens. She’s not asked to help out but forced to perform death defying feats ( for a human that’s wouldn’t really be possible) and medical test by day. There is an alien there who’s taken quite an interest in her. Is she going from bad to badder? God, he’s got electric wings and fangs. Oz is on Kilrym to rescue the ethereal performer who has captivated him. His mission is impossible when he believes that the human could be his fated mate. This has action, adventure, drama, suspense, romance, twists/turns. This was a great first read for this series. Will Oz and Emily find an HEA together? Loved this story, the storyline and characters always capture my imagination. Looking forward to reading more in this new series.

Entertaining, fun, sweet and passionate alien romance!! Love Rudolph’s alien romances! This one starts with Emily, who has been abducted from Earth and forced to do gymnastic performances for the entertainment of some aliens. Those aliens also happen to be doing some type of experimentation on the humans. Oz, also an alien but his people have more respect for humans, is on an undercover mission to find out why these less than stellar aliens are experimenting on humans. When Oz sees Emily, he feels drawn to protect her, but his orders from his captain get in the way. Also, Oz and Emily have a bit of a misunderstanding going on, so these two don’t exactly have the best start.
Loved the danger element with the evil aliens going on; some good suspense there! Good action going on! Liked the new Matched scenario going on with this different type of aliens; liked that it’s more involved for both parties, some cool ideas there. Also, loving the electrical wings and powers; too cool! Oz and Emily have some good passion between them, and work well together. Loving this new series so far! Looking forward to reading more!
Listened to the audio with the Author’s Direct app. The narrator did a good job; his performance was clear and he gave a solid performance. His voice wasn’t one of my favorites, but I’d still recommend listening.
Great romance. I enjoyed this story it was interesting and fll of adventure and lots of action. The characters are easy to love and there story was interesting and intriguing. Can’t wait for more of this series.
Kate does not disappoint in another good book. I like that this one is with a match and not a mate. Electrical beings are something new and I love it, two being stronger than one is great. I think this will be another great series for Kate and I can’t wait for the next one, hopefully it will be a short fall from the cliff (cliffhanger). The hero should have been upfront with there being no return to Earth for the humans because they were decades away. I eagerly look forward to the next book.

I love Kate and she has yet to disappoint. I loved the story line of a match instead of mate. And electrical powers are so awesome. Now to the narration, i am unfamiliar with this platform so I am doing my best. There were 4 or 5 places where the narration cut in and out. I am not sure if it was the app or my phone. Other than that the narrator did an awesome job.
A Fantastic, enjoyable start to what looks like a amazing new series by this author. I’d loved the Detyen/denya books from this author and was so excited to try this new series when I saw it, it didn’t disappoint me. Great writting, imaginative characters and storyline with some action and suspense whilst still being light to read. Can’t wait for more from this series.
The writing and editing of this novel was super clean, with few if any typos that I caught in the ARC version of this manuscript. The world building was vibrant, with me getting a vivid picture of this alien culture, technology, and environment. The characterization was great, with both hero and heroine being vibrant, sympathetic individuals. The development of the romantic relationship happened organically, especially considering that this novel used a variation on the Fated Mates trope. The plot and pacing was exciting, with me rapidly turning pages to find out what was going to happen next! There was low angst and very high stakes in this novel, which is one of my preferred narrative structures for a romance novel. This novel used the Alien Abduction trope and the Fated Mates trope. It also used the Partner in Trouble trope and the Road Trip trope. The plot, pacing, and world building in this novel were all four stars. The characterization and development of the romantic relationship also rated four stars. The combined score of this novel was therefore four stars. This novel had a Happy For Now ending instead of a cliffhanger, so that is a big plus for this novel. I recommend this sci-fi romance to readers who enjoy sci-fi romances that read like adventure novels. I am looking forward to reading the next novel in this series when it comes out.

Emily and her fellow Earth abductees have learned to entertain or die. When they are not being carted off to be experimented on, She and her fellow Earthlings are expected to perform like trained animals for their captors. Her gymnastic ability has never been a handier talent to have.
Oz may look like her abductors but he is nothing like them on the inside. His planet is split by morals and outlook rather than what they look like. The Apsyns are deplorable xenophobes. Oz and his team are much happier to have a wider pool of people to attempt to find a mate with.
But Oz missteps in his plans to rescue the Earthlings from their captivity when he tries to “buy” his human flier! Now he’s going to have to work even harder to get her to trust him!
Emily and the others; Lena, Luci, Zac & Joel soon find themselves rescued but are they really any better off?
I loved that Emily was able to use her education as a lawyer on Earth in her new found freedom. Her gymnastics may have saved her butt but it’s her mental talents that are just as much use in her new normal! Oz makes a bit of a hash of rescuing his potential mate and I love how he has to essentially grovel to get her back. They abilities they share later are amazing! The little twist of the Earthlings capture was one I did not see coming.
Interesting characters and story. I liked it

I enjoyed reading this book , it is filled with action, adventure, and intrigue, a great New series. The interaction and chemistry between the characters of Emily and Oz is wonderful. I can’t wait for more from this author. I received this book as a FREE ARC copy to read and I voluntarily leave this review.
Kate Rudolph owns the action/adventure alien romance sub-genre, as proven by the high-octane cascade of thrilling events which befall OZ, a Zulir warrior and a scrappy human woman named Emily. The action is where it’s at in this first-of-the-series novel. Absolutely stellar. The romance is a bit more low-key, but still sparks. Tne weakest part of the book is the world-building, which could have been more focused, more coherently detailed, – and just plain MORE.Still a worthwhile read, and I’m really looking forward to the next book.
I was enthralled right from the start and It just got better and better, I loved all the characters but Emily and Oz made it much more believable. Emily and the other humans Lena, Luci, Zac, Joel where all kidnapped by Apsyn aliens and taken to the planet Kilrum where they where tested on by day and had to entertain the aliens at night and if you didn’t perform the testing was day and night. Emily was a lawyer on earth as well as a gymnast and she used her gymnastics to entertain them and stay alive. Until one night she meet a man that seemed to be interested in her and she found that she liked his attention but was not sure why but he made her feel safe. Oz and Sloan was there to complete there mission and get there asset out and Oz falling for one of the humans was not supposed to happen but it did and his plans have changed because she was is match mate and he must protect her at all cost. This story is amazing and with so much drama, suspense, adventure, fear, anger, labs, Scientists, cruelty, hatred and revenge all rolled into one how will it ever work out between Emily and Oz. Get this book to find out what happens next.
A fantastic new alien series by Kate Rudolph! If you liked her Detyen warriors, you’ll love her Zulir! This is a wholly different setting with completely different characters and alien races, so be ready for a new adventure.
Oz is a pretty average soldier living a pretty normal life besides the whole inter-species divide that has them at war thing, and I think that might be what had me adoring his story the most. It’s a nod to the notion that everyone has a destiny and sometimes it might be something completely different than what you could have dreamed.
Emily, in contrast, was a pretty stellar example of a human. I really liked her stubborn side and the fact that she never lost herself despite all that happened. She and Oz made a great opposites pairing in my opinion.
Anyhow, if you like aliens (with wings, lets not forget the electric wings), feisty heroines far from home, action and adventure, some really awesome romance, a little bit of steam, and an all around entertaining new universe, this is a book you should pick up. I look forward to Solan’s book next!
I really enjoyed the direction that Synrr’s Saint took us. A planet divided by different belief systems. Humans are just riffraff in the way. The world building and alien descriptions are beautiful. The story had not only a romantic element but it had a bit of military suspense, along with the aliens. It was all very well blended. There were parts where the story staggered a bit for my liking. Overall, I enjoyed Emily and Oz as well as the rest of the characters. I hope this is only the first of the Zulir Warriors and that we get more of the other humans stories.
