Let Synergist Lead You into a Twisted World of Fairies and Magic. The Synergist has to be one of the most original Fae worlds I’ve read in a very long time. It has a very whimsical feel to it. ~Goodreads ReviewerFired, close to eviction, and determined not to ask anyone for help, Amaya Reynolds’s last hope is a job at the local vampire blood bank. But on her first night there, she learns that … first night there, she learns that blood isn’t the only thing on the menu—and consent isn’t always required. When dark and mysterious Vasily rides to her rescue with his four warlock roomies, she’s grateful, then confused when they all insist she’s something special. But she’s not. She’s just another boring human living in Distant Edge, where supernaturals roam free. Right?

This was a great read, but i have enjoyed everything from this author so far. She writes so well and does a great job of telling a story.
I love that this is in the Distant Edge universe. I have read and loved all of the books released in this world so far and this one is no different. Amaya is a independent human woman and I like seeing this world from a human’s prospective. Add in the vampire Vasily and the warlocks along with a few others and you get an amazingly creative storyline from a human’s view point in Distant Edge. I love it and I can’t wait to what is going to happen next for Amaya and her men.
I was so immersed in this storyline that I was sincerely shocked when I realized I was done. This book ends in a cliffhanger, but don’t let that deter you. Amaya is an amazing main character and though she is left in the dark by those who desperately need her, she forges on. She is a woman finding her way in the world. She has a good strong heart and an independent spirit. I know you will love this book.
To me this was very different from what I expected when I started the book. The plot and world built up were very well written. The story has so many twists and turn to keep you wanting more.

I loved this book! Amaya is definitely stubborn and causes more trouble for herself than is needed.Bbut she does come back and apologizes if she is wrong which is commendable in a character. Though I would have loved to see an conclusion with the landlord and his sister which is also her boss in this book. I hopefully will get to read about them in the next book in the series. And I think there is more to Amaya’s bestie. I really want to know more about her as well. Even though Amaya has a full plate with the new men in her life. And the romance and her new role into saving Tara. I believe the series can handle all of my questions. Lol! This book really gives you the depth you really love in a book.

Another great world that I can’t wait for more of. I loved how independent Amaya was and unique the plot was. Magic and romance and I really just wish I had book 2 already!

This book can be read quite quickly it also helps that I found it hard to put the actual book down. We get to meet some awesome characters. Amaya and Vasily are the two main characters but there are also 4 other men who come into play. Amaya and the rest of the characters take us on journey that is scary and dark, dangerous and with twists that will surprise us all. I loved this book and can’t wait to see if there will be more written.
In this book we read about Amaya who is dragged jnt o a world of feeding vamps. Her first is Vasily and he wants her exclusive. Later she meets his friends. They are attracted to her. She finds out some strange things but is willing to cooperate with them. In the end all is well. Loved it.

After reading the authors Tales from the Edge series I was happy to see that there was a new series out. The characters and world building were great and knowing that this book was from the human viewpoint of Distant Edge made me even happier. I can not wait to see what happens in the next book, so many questions need answers to.

Chloe Adler has woven a fantastic story with a well developing FMC. Amaya starts off in a bad situation and as the story progresses she finds herself growing and developing into someone who is stronger. The ending leaves a definite WOW. Can’t wait for more. A fantastically wonderful and enjoy read.
This is my first time reading this author and I have to say she has quite a way of expressing herself. The prose is smooth and the dialogue is realistic, and not juvenile.
The FMC, Amaya, is feisty and learns to become more empowered as the story progresses. She’s in a bad way in the beginning, down on her luck, but learns to push through and fight.
I love them men, but Bodhi is my favorite so far. Sorry Vasily. Lol.
There is a twist to the story and Amaya’s character development and I loved it! So unique and a different take.
Chloe also knows how to write those sexy times! Woowee. Even the one that was more tame was still very passionate and steamy.
Highly recommend!
To begin with this story didn’t automatically grab my attention I felt things were moving way to fast. But as the story progressed I fell more and more into the intriguing story that is Amaya Reynolds’ life. I can’t wait for the sequal!
I truly appreciate an author who can be dirty and fun in the same book! I truly enjoyed Synergist and looking forward to reading the next book!

Wonderful book that keeps you on the edge of your seat.
Quite an interesting take on fae and humanity! I loved that the MC wasn’t blonde and blue eyed! The take on this was different than any I’ve read before. It intrigues me and I need to find out what happens next!!!!

First of all, this book was amazing. But that ending though, wow how is that even possible? This book kept me entertained the entire time. I started it and I didn’t stop reading until I finished it. If you’re thinking about reading it stop thinking and just do it because you most likely won’t regret it, if it’s your type of book.

I loved the storyline, which some is very original and creative. This author has a vivid imagination which translates onto the page. A slow burn build up to what may be a hot RH, juries out. But I want to find out.

A mashup of our world with a world filled with vampires and shifters and the society that brings. Combine that with a bit of fantasy and you have this book. It was unique and I couldn’t put it down!
I have read everything produced about Distant Edge so far. So, simply by being about one of my favorite places, this had my attention. I love getting the opportunity to see Distant Edge from the human vantage point. We’ve seen the Signum and now we get to see what life is like without a wealth of magical powers. There are so many wonderful little hints about what’s going on sprinkled throughout this book. But for every hint and answer that’s uncovered, three more questions spring up to take its place. We have answers, but there are still questions left unknown, so I’m guessing that we will be revisiting Amaya, Vasily, the warlocks, Candy, Sabin, Jules, and all the rest again in the future.

I’m very torn about this book. I want to like it because I find the concept of the world interesting, and I’m always interested in uncovering what’s special about the “undiscovered magic” plot-line, but I just can’t get totally into it. For me, there’s just something that doesn’t get me excited about this book. I think the writing is a little too simple, a little too bland.
