Jace was the last remaining single member of Court’n Jacks, an up and coming country music band…and he couldn’t be happier. He’d spent years as guardian of his two younger sisters, but now they were all grown up and they didn’t need him any longer. He welcomed bachelorhood…or he would just as soon as he could get Court’n Jacks latest album finished. Unfortunately, that seemed to be an … impossibility as he searched—unsuccessfully—for the elusive ‘thing’ missing from their music. With the upcoming tour looming and the deadline for the album fast approaching, he had no other choice than to ask for help. He just didn’t think it would be from the hot guitarist he’d heard playing in the studio late one night.
The last thing Maeve needed in her life was drama that came in the shape of a six-foot, grumpy musician with control issues. Unfortunately, she needed the job. She could suck it up for the next couple of weeks if it meant getting her car fixed and having the money to send her son to summer music camp. It was just too bad that six-foot, grumpy musicians were her catnip. So what if it had been a long time since she’d had any adult cuddling…she could keep her hands, and lips, and tongue, to herself, couldn’t she?
*This is a ‘Too hot to Handle’ Romance on the Emma Lea rating scale – These are definitely 18+ reads and contain graphic sex scenes and high level swearing – not for the faint of heart

Multilayered
I really enjoyed this book.
Jace is in a band, focused on their next album release that’s missing something. He raised his sisters and is on his own for the first time.
Maeve is a colorful single mother who grew up with a groupie mom.
I thought that this was a refreshing read, because the characters were multilayered.
It’s a recommend.

Music & Lyrics series was my introduction to author Emma Lea. I knew after I read Strings that I had to read everything by her! I’ve been waiting for Jace’s story and I’m so in love with Court & Jacks. Symphony is the combination of all the sounds and Jace is the key to the band’s sound. Jace and Maeve have all sorts of baggage to carry between them. Reading their story was a joy. I’m honestly a little heart broken the series is over. But what a conclusion. Have to find a new Emma Lea series to read now!!

It feels like forever ago that I started reading this series. (It wasn’t anywhere near that long, but I binged all the previous books at once so this one is definitely feeling like the outlier.) Jace was the force holding the band together; the responsible older brother taking care of everything. Maeve had a childhood that was just as unconventional as Jace’s, just in some very different ways. Together, they’re a perfect pairing – if they can keep from killing each other. They’re not quite opposites, but their strengths and weaknesses dovetail nicely with one another. When all the emotional baggage both Jace and Maeve are carrying around started interfering with how they understood each other, I despaired of ever seeing them get it right. I was so glad for that ending. Now, I’ll have to start the series over at the beginning to keep from being too sad that it’s over.

Symphony is the fifth and final book in the Music & Lyrics series. Jace and Maeve are great characters with amazing chemistry between them. The storyline is well written and flows nicely throughout. I enjoyed this book.
I read and reviewed a copy of this book with no obligation.
This is the 5th book I’ve read written by Emma Lea; she has done a great job at writing a good book; I can’t wait to read more of her books.
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.
I loved the chemistry between the characters.

This is the fifth and final book in the Music & Lyrics series and was another super read and while it can easily be read on its own if you get the chance give the rest a read they are just as good. This is Jace and Maeve’s book and while I thought they were really good together and well suited they still clashed a fair bit. I really enjoyed getting to know them.
This is a well written book with an entertaining story line. The author brings strong characters and is told in the dual POV. It moves quickly and smoothly and I enjoyed reading.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
I’ve enjoyed all the books in this series & like that it was told in dual POV’s. Jace & Maeve did have issues they need to work through but all’s good in the end. Sometimes things do get a bit much for the characters & we get inside their heads. Overall another good story from this group.

Entertaining read from the Music and Lyrics series by Emma Lea. Excellent story about Jace and Maeve that can be read standalone!

This is the first music and lyrics book that I’ve read although I’ve read most of Emma Lea’s other works. I really liked the characters and their chemistry worked. Nice story with Emma Lea’s trademark tidy ending.

Final book five in the Music & Lyrics series. Can be read and enjoyed as stand-alone. Told in dual POV with HEA. Court’n Jacks is an up and coming country band. Each book is about a different band member. Jace and Maeve have a lot in common and I liked how well they worked together. I loved how Jace treated Oscar! I wish they would have communicated better. I did not like the amount of time that was spent in their own heads with their worries and insecurities. I did like the ending but would have loved an epilogue!!
