CandaceSin City is home, the one place where sinners come to play. I guess that’s why I fit so well. I’ve sinned many times, and will continue to do so until my very last breath. My life’s work is sin, at least, that’s what those conservative bitches would call it. I call it something different. Release. The look in the face of my submissive after a scene is the only confirmation that I need that … confirmation that I need that I’m in the right job. Getting paid hourly to bring the most powerful men and women to their knees.
Kneeling before the one person who holds all of the control.
Me.
Drake
She walks into my club every Friday night, every single person in here knows just exactly who she is. Candace. One of the most well known Domme’s in Vegas.
Everything about her is a mystery. The woman is as closed off as they come. Her walls are high, and dammit if they don’t make me want to break them down. I’ve wanted her for ages. Who wouldn’t?
There’s only one problem. I’m a Dom, and she’s made it very clear she’s not a switch.
How much do you want to bet that she won’t be switched when I’m done with her?

Candace and Drake are two dominants that have an attraction to each other. One would have to be a switch for any relationship to work. Candace ends up switching for Drake. A steamy read but I wish there were more of their story.

What an absolute dynamite pair Linny Lawless and Elizabeth Knox make!! This storyline pulled me in from the first page and the chemistry between the characters is so mesmerizing and tantalizing it’s like being spellbound. Since this is book one of a new series, I can only say WOW. They’ve set the bar high for any books that follow and I’ll be there when they’re released.
I also went into Switched blind. I hadn’t read the previous books and I’m not a huge fan of BDSM but I read the description and wanted to give it a try. There is some F/F action at the beginning but just that one time. I felt the story was filled with emotion. The characters, Candace and Drake were well developed and I felt an instant connection to them and wanted them to have their HEA. Both characters are deeply emotional and I really felt the author discussed the control and submission aspect of BDSM in an intelligent way that helped me understand. I look forward to reading more about them in subsequent books. They didn’t get their HEA completely and that bothered me some but I understood it was necessary for the story. I will definitely be checking out the rest of the stories in this series.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Readers Copy of this book from Booksprout .
Drake is the dom that everyone wants, but because he was hurt in the past, he does not do relationships anymore. Candace is a domme and is good at her job. Both has feelings for each other but because Candace is a domme and has never been a submissive to anyone else, she does not think that she has a shot with Drake. Drake bet a wager with his friends that he would be able to switch Candace from a domme to a submissive but after the bet and getting to know Candace better, he knew he was in trouble if Candace finds out about the bet. Meanwhile, Candace is also dealing with some personal issues. How will she react when she learns that Drake is only going out with her because of a bet. A great read from this author
This is a quick short read. It is super hot and erotic. She is a domme and it gets so hot and sexy. I loved it.

This book was co-written by Linny Lawless, Elizabeth Knox. I have had the please of reading Elizabeth Knox but Linny Lawless is a new author to me. I did have a little issue at the start of the book as Domanatics is not one of my favourite genres to read but I must say this book grew on me as I read along. Drake was a character that at first I did not understand but by the end, I was fully invested in him and the story I was reading.
Can two Dominatrix’s come together as one?
Sin City at its finest.
I was left a little flat by the ending and I also felt there where some information about a few characters left out that may have helped with the understanding of these characters. Even though this only books one of a series I felt the authors could have grabbed our attention more. Switched (Sin City Fets Book 1)
was a book I received as an ACR copy to which I have given my honest and voluntary review.
Love this book. Wonderful start to a series. Couldn’t put it down. Love the characters and the story line.
Switched is the first book in this series by this duo. What a fantastic start to the series.
Candace is a domme in Sin City. Drake is a domme who wants Candace Switched.
A brilliant read. You wouldn’t think this was written by two authors as it was written so well. Looking forward to reading more from Sin City.
I loved Switched! The way Drake loves and sees Candace is inspiring. This is more than a Dom and Sub story, it’s a love story of two people. Candace is this strong, independent woman who is at her breaking point. Enter Drake; he loves Candace and wants to take all the pain away. This was the first book I have read by Elizabeth Knox and I cannot wait to read more.
A completely different and captivating read it’s not your normal D/s situation it is so much more than that things are not so clear cut as one would assume and the dynamic between the characters were so complex it kept the story pleasantly moving

I never miss anything with Ms. Knox’s name attached to it. This didn’t seem like my type of book but I’m glad I got to read this. Ms. Lawless is writing beast as well.
Loved the book it was great, the story was well written and the characters are interesting. Once I started I could not put the book down from start to finish you just could not get enough left you wanting more twists and turns. Candace and Drake their story a turn on, hot and steamy.
Thank you for allowing me to review your book.

For the most part I enjoyed this story. Candence and Drake are decent characters. I felt like some character development was missing. You’re thrown right into their story and honestly there’s not much of a story arc. There’s a lot of backstory but you don’t actually get much story between the two main characters. For a story that is supposed to be about a Domme switching to a sub there’s little sex between the main characters or scenes to build trust. The story was just lacking depth.

I loved this story. It is the kind that you can identify with the characters and immerse yourself in the story. Very well written and characters to win the heart make this book a must read.

Who will submit when two Dom’s come together
Switched is the first book in the Sin City Fets series. As this is the first time I have read this writing duo I was not sure what to expect, as I have read a number of books by Elizabeth Knox before. When I read the book description it looked like it could be a really interesting story and hopefully series…………..and I was right. This short story was completely engrossing to me and I could not put it down once I started. The story is about Candace and Drake who work together as professional Dom’s and are also friends. These two are in an interesting situation as they are attracted to each other but yet both need the control that being a Dom provides. So if Candace wants to be with Drake she will have to give up that control to him, thus submitting.
While there is the physical relationship between them there is also a deep emotional relationship between them. As this is the first book in a series the story of Candace and Drake is not complete and I anticipate there will be more in other book(s).
This was a very well written story with great details in the scenes. I really like this writing duo and look forward to reading the next book in this series.
I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
This is a Dom/Sub story about Candace and Drake, one problem, both of them are Doms. These two have great chemistry but will she be able to give up control and switch. This is a quick, captivating read with characters and a story that held my interest from the first page until the last. I look forward to reading the rest of the Sin City Fets series.
Candace and Drake are two dominants that attracted to each other, but one has to switch or they both learn to do it different. nice entertaining story.
This is one hot read! It’s a fairly quick read about a Domme and a Dom. Candace and Drake are sizzling together! This is such an interesting and intriguing story with great twists and turns. These two authors make are great individually but together that make a great team. I enjoyed the teaser epilogue as well. I look forward to reading more stories in the “Sin City Fets”.
Switched (Sin City Fets, Book 1) was difficult for me to get into as I was distracted by the naration. In this case I would have preferred reading this short tale.
Narrator Ashley Hensley did not differentiate between characters very well in my opinion. I’m assuming Ashley is a male as his inflection was deep baritone and rough. It may have been better with a dual narration with a female narrator.
A great story and series start! Enjoyed this read about Drake and Candace! Great characters and interesting twists!
