I’m that guy.Camilla Landry rustles against me, the silky fabric of her overpriced lingerie slipping along my bruised rib. The porcelain perfection of her skin is even more innocent against the colorful ink dotting my own. It’s demure meets damaged, pampered meets punctured. So, yeah, it’s obvious I’m that guy. Dominic Hughes. Her attempt at rebellion. Her bid to see what the other side of the … other side of the tracks feel like. I’m okay with being used because, from where I’m sitting, the other side of the tracks have never looked so good.
A contemporary standalone romance.

Gah! I fell in love with the Landrys in Sway, and it has continued with Swing, Switch, Swear, and now Swink! The Landrys have become one of my all-time favorite families!
Camilla, the youngest child, has been a little mysterious throughout the last couple of books, and we find out why in Swink- she is falling for Dominic, who does not fit the Landry mold. Oh, but he does, it just takes a lot for everyone (because Graham? How is he going to handle Dominic Hughes?!?). But Dom is perfect for Cam.
Adriana Locke has yet another hit on her hands! I have felt like a part of the Landry family, and while I will miss them, I have a feeling that we’ll get some glimpses of them when Sienna starts us offf in a new series.
I loved this book, and can’t wait to read it again!
I fraking loved this!!! The final installment in the Landry family series we finally get to see who the secret man Cam is hiding from us, and boy oh boy is it worth the wait!
Cam is one of two baby sisters to the Landry family, thus she comes with some over protective brothers that will just about break every part of a mans body. Cam is adventurous and free spirited and in a way trying to find herself, but is the fella she is dating going to make the Landry brothers cut?
Dominic Hughes is the boy from the wrong side of the tracks, but with a heart of gold. Dom is all about taking care of his family himself so when Cam loans Dom’s brother some money all hell breaks loose.
From heart breaking tragic pasts, steamy love scenes and a few brotherly duchy moments, this story was the best possible ending to the series. We get glimpses of other characters we have come to love, of how their relationships are evolving, what is changing and I for one can’t wait for the spin off series.
Gibson brothers here I come!
Loved the first 4 books in this series- Camilla’s older brothers total alpha males. Of course Camilla is drawn to the total alpha bad boy who she is keeping from her family and he is avoiding them. Dominic Hughes doesn’t do attachments but something about Cam has him changing his tune. He doesn’t meet families, he just takes care of his own. But Camilla is trying her best to slowly introduce Dom to her family. Sexy read. Loved it! One sibling to go- her twin sister has to be next.
4.5 Come Here Stars!! Dominic is so alpha and sexy! Swink/Cam has such a good heart. Their chemistry is explosive and the whole Landry family will have you swooning and laughing. Devoured this read and didn’t want to put it down. Another hit in this amazing series!!
This series keeps on getting better and better. I absolutely enjoyed reading this book; from beginning until end. Don’t think the author could write a book I wouldn’t like, that’s how much I am loving her books. This one was no different and I cannot wait for the next one to come out 🙂
Camilla has had enough of her overbearing brothers always hovering over her like she’s a little baby that can’t take care of herself. Though her little secret is taking a toll on her, she is willing to do whatever it takes to break free. But every time she feels a little closer to Dominic, he pushes her away.
Dominic and his brother have always had each others back and Dom always felt the need to take care of him, to do whatever it takes to give himself and Nate a good life. And when Camilla seems to getting closer every step of the way, he doesn’t think he’s good enough for her and the world she lives in. But the heart wants what the heart feels and in the end, there’ll be a lesson for both of them to learn…
Sometimes when you read a book from a new-to-you author, one that is popular, one that you’ve purchased some of their books because people you know have raved about them but you just haven’t found the time to get to, and you FINALLY read one….AND THEY FREAKEN BLOW YOUR DAMN MIND. making you think “WHY haven’t I read any of her books before NOW??!!” Adriana Locke and Swink are this for me! I have found an author who, I think, will become ONE OF MY TOP FAVES!!!!
The story starts off slowly, but grabs your attention from the beginning. It unfolds like a flower, opening a little bit at a time, giving you glimpses of the beauty to come…until it finally opens up all the way, showing you it’s incredible, glowing heart! That’s what Dominic (Dom) Hughes sort of reminds me of…except there’s really nothing fragile about him! He’s all man…and ALPHA to the MAX!!! *sigh* But inside, he’s closed up tight just like a flower bud, waiting for the right combination of sunshine, moisture and love to open up to his full potential! Camilla (Cam) Landry IS his right combination, even though he fights it the WHOLE way, believing he isn’t nearly good enough for her and will only ruin her life! Luckily, Cam has the fortitude and is feisty enough to stand her ground and eventually, things end up EXACTLY the way they should….but not before my heart and soul were TOTALLY ripped apart! But this is where we find out what the Landry family is all about and I LOVED them all (well, MOSTLY…I have to say I didn’t like Lincoln and Graham all that much, at first! 😉 )
I give this book a SOLID 6 Stars because I CAN!!! 😀 I will definitely be getting in the rest of the Landry family…soon! I CAN’T WAIT!!!
NO SPOILERS!
Swink was a wonderful standalone contemporary romance and conclusion to the absolutely amazing Landry Family series. I loved Adriana Locke’s writing style and enjoyed the storyline and characters she created. I had high hopes going into this book, but I’ll be honest, it wasn’t my favorite installment in the series.
Dominic and Camilla were great characters and I really liked them and their story. I enjoyed their personalities and chemistry together, and how their relationship progressed throughout. I liked reading it from both Dom and Camilla’s POV, and I enjoyed most of their banter and interactions with each other. There was a lot of back and forth and up and down moments between Dominic, Camilla, and other characters that was quite frustrating and annoying at times, and it was the main reason I gave the book four stars. I’m not a huge fan of tons of drama and angst, even though I know it’s unavoidable in life as well as fiction, and it felt like something special was missing that would have made it five stars for me. I still really enjoyed reading the story, but I would have loved something more. However, I absolutely loved the last two chapters and epilogue, so they somewhat redeemed the book for me. Even though Swink wasn’t my favorite installment in the Landry Family series, I will always hold these books and characters near and dear to my heart, and certainly return to them again and again for a very long time to come. I would have loved even more at the end of the book, but I was still satisfied and happy with the conclusion to Dominic and Camilla’s story.
Swink was another wonderful standalone contemporary romance in the Landry Family series and I really enjoyed it. It might not have been my favorite novel from Adriana Locke so far, but she still did a great job with this book, and I was happy with the conclusion to Dom and Cam’s story. I am so incredibly sad the Landry Family series is complete, but it will always be one of my absolute favorite and most memorable series that I have ever read, and I can’t wait to re-read it again and again. Adriana Locke is by far one of my favorite romance authors, and I can’t wait to read more of her amazing novels, starting with her new series, The Gibson Boys, and Sienna Landry’s story in Crank!
Move over Landry men and make room for a new sexy, southern, alpha male! I absolutely loved this West Side Story meets Romeo & Juliet, forbidden romance. When Dominic Hughes comes to Camilla Landry’s house to fix her air conditioning, Cam is drawn to this sexy man from the wrong side of the tracks. They take a chance and begin to see each other. Dom believes that there is an expiration date on their affair, because what could a good girl like Cam want with a bad boy who could never give her the life she deserves. Dom works 3 jobs as a repairman, bartender, and fighter, just to make ends meet, while Cam shops, and plans charity events for the elite of the community. But Cam isn’t the pampered princess he thinks she is. She is smart, strong, loyal, loving and determined to take care of him. She grows to see the softer, kind and loyal side of this fighter. It hurts her when he won’t integrate her into his life or mix with hers. But as their hearts become more involved and Doms desire to protect and make Cam happy grows, he finally agrees to meet one of her brothers. Now the fun really begins! The Landry brothers are so over protective, wanting what’s best for Cam, on their terms of course. But Cam has to show them that she is capable of making good decisions on her own. Dom and Cam are complete opposites who challenge each other and make each other stronger and whole. They are so perfect together and their chemistry is off the charts. The Landry family is again essential in this story. I loved catching up on all the family but mostly seeing how they fight for each other to make sure they are safe and happy. The scenes with Ford, Lincoln, and Graham are priceless! This multifaceted story is the best of this already epic family saga! It is heart pounding, thrilling, moving, funny, and super hot and steamy. If you haven’t read this series yet, you must! You will love it, I promise!
I have been waiting patiently for Miss Camilla Landry’s story and oh my was not disappointed. The lovely Camilla has been keeping a little secret. She has met a brooding bad boy and she is not ready to share …she may never be ready!
Dom is a strong, devoted hard working man from a different part of town. His world and the place he grew up in is a far cry from the happy home that Cam has experienced. He knows that each stolen moment that they spend together may be their last. This relationship has an expiration date stamped on it. He knows that they are too different to make this work. He would never be accepted in her world and he fears she may be hurt in his.
It may have started as lust and inta-attraction, the moment they laid eyes on one another the pull was too strong to deny. This has now evolved into so much more than either can deny. Neither one wants to expose the other to their world. Dom’s is too gruff and harsh while Cam’s is too stark and shiny. When these two worlds finally collide it may be more that either of them can handle.
I absolutely loved their story. The thought of some may challenges and obstacles in their way but sometimes you need to be stronger .

Eek. I’m on the fence. I liked it, but didn’t loovvveee it. I guess I couldn’t get over the fact that Dom kept throwing it in Camilla’s face that she comes from a family of wealth. Like, there was no possible way he could ever give her the things she deserves etc. Um, say what now? I get wanting to give the best you can for your partner but you’ve already been together for 10 months, give it a rest already! She loves you for you! You should know by now that she wasn’t “slumming it” for shits and giggles. I just felt like it was beating a dead horse. I kinda wish there was more back story on the start of their relationship, that would’ve been cool to read. *shrugs* I don’t know. I’m all over the place on my feelings for this story. But hey, we’re getting a new series so I’m looking forward to that!
Cam and Dom are a princess and pauper story that rounds off the Landry series for the perfect ending . Cam has always been the family’s goodie two shoe Swink that butts in and can be expected to be around and have an opinion. But since she started seeing her mystery man, the family has noticed that the once nosy Swink has retreated into herself and they are concerned. She knows that they might have a problem with Dom, he is an outsider and not like them but he makes her happy and quite frankly a better person and shouldn’t that be what matters? But convincing them, Dom, and herself of these things is not always the easiest sell so they have been hiding their relationship from almost everyone. Dom knows that she’s slumming it with him, but if this is what slumming it looks like he doesn’t mind the negative stereotype. Cam is unlike any other girl, rich or poor, he has ever come across. Classy, sexy, smart, beautiful and all his (for now a least) he is going to take what he can get while the getting is good. These two have be circling each other claim to only be in it for the kicks but it’s so much more than that. When the time comes to bring it from the shadows will the pauper be able to handle the princess’ royal lifestyle?
I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book.
I didn’t think the Landry series could get any better, but Adriana Locke proved me wrong. I first fell in love with her work with Sacrifice and Crew Gentry. Making Dominic be a fighter was amazing. He’s the complete opposite of Camilla and her family. He keeps waiting for her to decide she’s had her rebellion and leave, but she doesn’t. He’s definitely as Alpha as the Landry boys and their interactions with each other are funny. Dom has had a rough life and thinks he doesn’t deserve someone like Cam in his life. Their story is full of emotion and all the feels.
I love how all the Landry siblings and their significant others are in the story and we get kept up to date on what’s going on with them too. Adriana will continue to be an instant 1-click author for me.
OK… It’s finally Cam and Dom time!!! I’ll tell you that he was so not what I was expecting. He was even better. Seriously this book so exceeded my expectations on every single level. I loved this book.
Dom is so much different than any Landry, which he is fine with, but what bothers him is that he appears to not be good enough for Cam. This isn’t anything she has done, but a societal issue, but some of this reasons have valor. All he wants from her is her ability to care about him for who he is. All she wants is the same. There is such a discord in this for a majority of the book, but while the issues come out more emotions reveal themselves as well. This is when you truly get to know what Dom is all about, which makes you fall more in love with him.
Having four majorly overprotective brothers doesn’t help the situation at all. They are being 100 perfect Landry’s, which is great for us as readers but very hard for Cam; however, the greatest part of this is the more the boys show their dysfunctional attitudes, the more you see just how much faith Dom has in Cam’s ability to fight and stand up for herself. It’s a breath of fresh air.
I’m so unbelievably lucky to be able to review this ARC voluntarily, which was given to me by the author. One thing that I’ve always looked forward to is another Landry book to read. This series may be done, but there is more to come in secrets, surprises and a new series starring a favorite Locke character!!! I’m so excited for what AL has in store for us. Five stars is truly not enough. I will be re-reading this book again soon. Now just have to wait for the audio book to come out!!!!
FINALLY!!! I’ve been waiting to see what Camilla “Swink” Landry has been up to for a couple of books now, and we are introduced to her “secret” in the form of super hottie, alpha from the wrong side of the tracks Dominic. These two are so sweet, hesitant to take it to the next step, but these two are so hot for each other, you just want them together. Making me want to throw my kindle and scream, their differences just kept getting in the way, not to mention those pesky, overbearing, yet utterly hysterical and adorable Landry boys that we all know and love attempt to insert themselves in the mix. I laughed (alot), and my heart hurt (alot), but in the end, it was trademark of this Author to pull it all together and give us a must read story filled with lovable Landrys!!! Do not miss all the happenings with not just our main couple, but ones from past books that have news of their own. So incredibly thankful the Author provided a copy to review!!

This series just gets better and better…just when you think there can’t possibly be anything else to find out about this family – BAM you’re proven wrong. Mrs. Locke is becoming one of my favorite authors.
My heart was crying for Cam because Dom was so closed off at times. The pull they had towards each other was felt throughout every page of this book. I was laughing with them, (almost) crying with them…and ooo did I fell in love with them!
I think this one is my favorite in the series <3
I loved this book, out of all the Landry books Cam and Dom are my favorite. Makes me sad knowing this is the last of the Landry series, enjoyed every single book.
Swink is the 5th book in the Landry Series and it’s my Absolute Favorite! This book has all the feels you want in a book. It has depth, it’s witty, it has honor, and trust. It’s a story of love and accepting someone for who they are on the inside, not their stature in life. It’s a truly wonderful story, and one worth reading again.
It’s Camilla and Dominic’s story and deals with two people from totally different backgrounds. It’s Cam trying to show her independence and prove to her brothers that she is quite capable of making sound decisions without big brother standing over her. It’s about Dominic, a hard working, honest man from a different background who is trustworthy, loyal, and very protective of Cam. A man willing to do anything for her, except meet her family. Her brothers don’t disappoint either, but watching Camilla come into her own as the strong woman she has grown into was a very uplifting.
Each book in the Landry series by Adriana Locke can be read as a stand alone story, but I highly recommend you read all of them. Sway, Swing, Switch, Swear, and Swink.
This is such a great book! I loved it. Adriana Locke is a new author to me. I have heard great things about her books. “Swink” confirms all that I’ve read about her. She is an awesome storyteller! This book was written in Dual POV. I am a huge fan of this writing style. I really enjoy learning what both lead characters are thinking/going through in the story. Dominic & Camilla’s story was beautifully and well written Dom is the perfect mix of a swoon-worthy, sweet, misunderstood alpha-male character, that doesn’t think he is good enough for Cam. She is strong, sweet, loves her family and would do anything for her friends. Cam also will fight for what she wants. Together, she and Dom are explosive (in a good way). I didn’t want the story to end. I cannot wait to read more about the other members of the Landry family. I would definitely recommend this book to any fans of her books. Especially those who have read the other books in this series
Oh my goodness… what an exciting and sultry read Swink turned out to be.
Camilla Landry has always the done the right thing, walked the line, been the good girl. However, lately she’d been seeing a man from the wrong side of the tracks. He’s given her the courage to stand on her own two feet and get out from under her family’s constant control.
Dominic Hughes is man that has had a tough life. He knows what it takes to make ends meet and take care of his family. He’s rough, tough, and alpha all the way.
These two should never have crossed paths, but they did and the sparks flew. They’ve kept their relationship on the down low but words has been getting around town about their dating.
Will their differences prove to be detrimental to their budding relationship? Or will that be what brings them closer together?
I love, love, love this book and the sexiness of Dom. When I picked up Swink because of the blurb and couldn’t put it down because of the intriguing storyline. I love how Cam doesn’t back down when her family and Dom try to push her. She’s a lot stronger than people give her credit for just because of who her family it.
Dom may have had a hard life, but he protects those he cares about even if it makes him seem like a stubborn mule. He’s edges may be rough, but his heart is pure.
Swink is a fun, sultry, intriguing, and fascinating read that captures the reader from start to finish. If you haven’t read any of the previous Landry Family series, you will still be able to enjoy this book. If you have enjoyed the previous book, you will love this continuing story about this fascinating family.
I have loved this series since the beginning and I’ve been waiting for Cam’s story. She’s the youngest Landry sibling. While the characters frustrated me at times, I did enjoy this book. Cam and Dom’s chemistry was HOT!!! It was a good ending to one of my favorite series.
