Screw him and his perfect stats.Sinful smirk.Delicious body.Lincoln Landry probably even has game-winning stamina.I’d like to screw her and her perfect ass.Dangerous curves. Sweet smile.Ryan Danielle Ashley probably even has a game-changing personality. There’s no denying the chemistry between them. It’s so fiery, it’s undeniable. They partake in it. Enjoy it. They really enjoy it. Attraction is … Enjoy it.
They really enjoy it.
Attraction is not a problem. Nor is their banter, relationship status, or habits. That’s all fine. Perfect, actually.
The problem is as tangled up as their sheets.
A lighthearted and sexy STANDALONE romantic comedy from USA Today Bestselling author Adriana Locke.

I’m loving every bit of this series. Just when I thought I loved Barrett, Landry is like nope look at me and darn it he’s my favorite. The stories are great and you fall more in love with each character and her writing. I’ve waited so long to read these and I don’t know why. They are so good.
This is a nice story but not my fav. I think I was hoping for more of the baseball issue and how he was coping. But there was just a bit.
I enjoyed Linc and his whole determination to win Danielle. I loved when he goes to Graham to get advice. Actually the whole family when they have get togethers. Very fun moments. It was great seeing Barrett, Huxley and Alison again. They added some fun to Linc’s story. Huxley was great!
Swing (Landry Family #2) was a great read by Adriana Locke. Lincoln goes to his therapy session at the hospital and it’s where he meets Danielle. She knew exactly who Lincoln was and the fact that he’s a famous baseball player. She has her hang ups on baseball players and refuses to go on a date with Lincoln. Lincoln is just like all the other Landry men and very persistent until he gets what he wants. I really enjoyed Lincoln and Dani’s story and can’t wait to read more by Adriana Locke.
Of the books in The Landry Family series I have listened to-date, Swing is by far my favorite. I loved Lincoln in Sway, but in Swing, he blew me away. He was sweet and charming and so very caring. He is a baseball star and he knows it. One look at Danielle Ashley and he is smitten. She is smart, sexy and a game-changer. But she wants nothing to do with Lincoln. He is exactly the type of man she avoids at all cost.
And yet their attraction was immediate and intense. I loved their witty banter and interactions so much. Does Danielle take a chance on a man who could hurt her so much or give her everything she never knew she wanted? Lincoln knows Danielle is the one for him, but how does he show her? Baseball has been his life, but sometimes things change, right?
I absolutely loved listening to Swing by Adriana Locke. I devoured this audio and could not stop listening! Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross were absolutely amazing as Lincoln and Danielle. A must-read and/or listen too for sure!

Happy listening!
The second in the Landry series we welcome back our Landry family. In this lovely book we enter into the world of baseball. Now I am not personally a baseball fan, however, after this steamy pile of awesomeness you best believe I am changing my mind somewhat lol
Lincoln Landry is the star of the Arrows team, but with a messed up shoulder he is out of the game for the season. After winning so much and having the game becomes such a intricate part of his life, his injury really throws him for a loop. A chance encounter at the facility he has his rehab may just open his eyes to something he never knew he was missing.
Ryan Danielle Ashley, named for the son her parents never received, has lived her life as “Danielle” Dani has become one of my most favorite characters of all time, and that is because I can relate to her so much. Dani has lived with the limelight of having her father be famous, he too was an athlete and because of this she does not want to enter into anything with Lincoln, but she can’t help the intense connection they have.
But what happens when Lincoln gets traded? Will she go with him? Read…JUST READ IT!! LOL
Hot Baseball player Lincoln Landry has set his sights on Danielle Ashley who wants nothing to do with baseball at all because of her parents. Lincoln is cocky, confident and the youngest Landry brother. Love the Landrey family they are a hoot. Great start to this series.
3.5 stars
If you read Sway then you already had the pleasure of meeting Barrett’s brother Lincoln, the outgoing and very hot baseball player. I loved him in Sway and couldn’t wait to read his story. Swing is a great book if you are looking for a light hot contemporary romance. Lincoln is such a nice guy and very determined. I loved how he met Danielle and how she handled him. She is not the type of woman to fall on her knees for him, and she played a little bit of hard to get. But not that much to make it annoying, it was obvious to Linc that she was attracted to him. Dani had every reason to stay away from him because of her issues with athletes. But I was happy that she didn’t push him away, that she was honest with her feelings.
It loved that every Landry family member made an appearance in this book. They are all so amazing and warm, just how a family is suppose to be. It was beautiful how they welcomed Dani into their family. I also loved the hot sex scenes, Linc definitely knows what he is doing. Swing was a solid romance story but there was nothing extra in the story. It was very predictable and sweet, and I was just looking for something more. That is the only reason I gave this book 3.5 stars. Definitely pick this book up if you love hot sexy contemporary romance, with a very charismatic baseball player.
5 Home Run stars! Lincoln Landry is hot, sexy, charismatic and so fun. Loved his relentlessness and determination. Danielle is strong, flirty and gives as good as she gets. Another great read by Adriana Locke, highly recommend and can’t wait for Graham’s book.
I really loved and enjoyed this book, as I just knew I would. Loved Lincoln in Sway and love him even more now and I want a Lincoln for my own 🙂 The story grabbed me from beginning until end. Totally a 5-star for me! I’m hoping that we get a Christmas story or something more about Lincoln and Danielle. Definitely my favourite so far and I can’t wait to read Graham’s story next!
Lincoln is a major baseball star that is in rehab for his shoulder which makes that he currently can’t play. After he has done the necessary rehab, he will know if he still has a future on his current team or that he gets traded. He has women falling to his feet but when he meets Danielle, sparks fly. There’s just one thing, Danielle isn’t interested in anything ‘more’. Slowly but surely he starts to break down her walls and insecurities but when the time comes for his future to be decided, both will have to make a decision that will change everything. And maybe both will find more than they thought they were looking for….
Wooohooo Lincoln Landry… what a sexy baseball player meet the girl next door. Funny in seductive way… the romance is off the chart… I throughly enjoy reading the book and excited for whats next
The passion and romance between Lincoln and Dani is so palpable, I had to put it down and fan myself a couple of times! 😉 It is one of the best books from Adriana that I have ever read, and is absolutely amazing! <3
5 A MUST Read that kept me laughing and swooning throughout the book Stars!!!
You know when you pick up a book and it grabs you from the very first word? This was Swing for me! I’ve been looking forward to reading this book since I finished Sway and I got everything I was looking for and so much more!! Lincoln Landry is just oh so deliciously sexy and smart and funny!!!
And Danielle is the perfect match for him. She’s no pushover for his good looks and celebrity that’s for sure and Lincoln just isn’t sure what to do with that because women usually throw themselves at him…literally and figuratively! So imagine his conundrum when Dani wasn’t like all the other women. I LOVED her for this…make him work for it!!
There’s an abundance of smoking hot action between the sheets and several other places along with a great story and a love story that really proves that if you want something bad enough you can have it and anything else your heart desires!!!
It’s a Swing and a GRAND SLAM!!!!
I’d say its common knowledge that I love Adriana Locke and her writing. But this book was a homerun, pun fully intended.
I finished this book and found myself beaming at Linc and Dani’s love story. It was perfection.
I’m going to list a few of my favorite aspects of this book, but just know that I really loved the whole book. My review would be pages and pages long if I listed everything I liked. The first thing I really enjoyed was that Linc and Dani are really on the same page. I think sometimes, we see the guy with this incredible lust and desire for the woman, but we don’t always see the woman reciprocate that as carnally. Dani has no problem voicing her physical desires for Linc. Its not taboo, or uncomfortable for her. When Linc admires Dani, it was really easy for me to see why he was so attracted to her.
Lincoln is a really phenomenal character. I loved seeing him in a more introspective light. He’s at this pivotal point in his life where things are changing, and he’s seeing things differently. I think a lot of people go through that and I enjoyed seeing his journey through that. The best part for me is that he was already there. Meeting Dani, and falling for her, didn’t push him to that point.
Another facet that I loved is the incorporation of characters from other books, and even series, being subtly tied in. We obviously get to see Barrett, Ali, and Huxley (and the rest of the Landry family), but we also see tiny glimpses of the Gentry extended family, and Stone Lockhart from “Stoned” by Mandi Beck, and Johnny Outlaw from the Hard To Resist series by S.L. Scott. The reason I love these tie-ins is because its so subtle. Its a great treat to the reader who has read these books and knows these characters. But if you hadn’t read those other books, you wouldn’t know any different.
I truly cannot say enough about how much I enjoyed this book. When I finished, I was absolutely beaming because I was just so happy with the story. Adriana Locke gets better with each story she churns out.
I think the saying goes “never let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game.” There are no strike outs in this book, only homeruns.
There’s just something about Lincoln Landry that you can’t help but love. He’s cocky, athletic, confident….and a ladies man. Yet, once he meets the beautiful Danielle….he definitely meets his match. They have such an immediate connection, but Danielle has a reluctance to getting involved with Lincoln. He definitely has to work hard for Danielle to give him a chance….but let’s face it, Linc is pretty irresistible. And he shows Danielle what family is all about, which is something that she has always wanted.
Another great installment of the Landry series!
*I volunteered to review a Copy of this a book from the Author / Give Me Books Promotions*
Thank you so very much Ms.Locke and Give Me Books Promotions!! I am extremely honored and grateful!! 🙂
4.5 A Home-Run Straight Into My Heart Stars!!
After reading Sway I couldn’t wait to get my hands on Lincoln’s book!! I really loved Swing!! I felt as if i saw a different side to Lincoln than i did in the last installment and i enjoyed that!! In my opinion it packed even more of an emotional punch than the first! I couldn’t help but cry during certain parts. It was all kinds of sexy and heartwarming too! I wasn’t quite sure what would happen with these two characters and it was fun to be kept on my toes! I liked that it was told in dual POVs especially during some serious moments. I hated what the hero and heroine went through at times. It showed how things can happen in our lives that scar us but we have the power to move forward!!
It was hard to put down! It was so nice to get lost in this story as I curled up in my favorite reading spot by my Christmas Tree. There is something so very unique about the Landry family that touches my heart in a way that hasn’t been done before. It was so nice to see the whole gang again and learn a lot of new information about them. I sure do hope everyone gets their own book, especially the sisters! I liked the fact that Ms.Locke didn’t sugarcoat anything with these characters and I got to know the truth. She made me wish that they were real so I could hug them to death! Ms.Locke Knocked it out of the park once again and proves why she an Author to Watch!! 🙂
Swing is about Danielle Ashley who is the director of Child Services and when Lincoln Landry pops into her world at work she knows she’s in trouble. After a bad injury professional baseball player Lincoln Landry was on the way up to Therapy when the sight of a woman named Danielle stops him in his tracks. The way they both cared about children, especially Danielle made me happy and it also made me connect with her on a different level. These two had great chemistry from the start in my eyes. How they acted with each other was priceless and to see their similarities was so fascinating. My heart broke for them in different ways. Lincoln was cocky but not in an annoying way. At times I wanted to shake some sense into both of them but I understood their reasoning’s even if I didn’t agree with them. I fell for them very easily and the Landry Family Series has stolen another piece of my heart! I hope we get to see more of this couple in future installments. 🙂

I can’t wait to get my hands on Graham’s book and finally know what’s going on in that business mind of his!! Switch and Swear can’t come soon enough!! 4.5 Stars all around!! 🙂
Swing by Adriana Locke…..Oh My Goodness, Adrianna Locke hit this book out of the park with a Grand Slam, I wish I could give 10 home run stars. This book is a fun sexy read that catches you on the first sentence until the last word. There is so much bantering, hot sex scenes, wonderful Landry family and the best characters I have ever read. Lincoln Landry is so hot, MLB player, cocky, sweet, sexy as sin and so confident. Danielle is beautiful, sweet, compassionate and does not want to date a MLB player. Lincoln turns on the charm, but can he do enough to get the woman that has won his heart. I absolutely loved watching this story be told. Adriana Locke has became one of my favorite authors, I know I am in for a Fantastic Ride reading her books. This is one book for will want to read. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
Swing (Landry Family #2) by Adriana Locke.
Cocky good looking baseball star – enough said. When I read Sway earlier this year, it was the first book of Adriana Locke’s that I had read but I knew it wouldn’t be the last. Not because this is a series but because of her writing. She has a certain magically combination so that the story is rom-com funny but has potency and her character development is outstanding
Swing is Lincoln’s story. Lincoln Landry is an outstanding baseball player, who, while he knows his place on the baseball field, is uncertain about his place in his family. You see this in his interactions with his Father. And now with his future in the game of baseball being questioned, he is at a loss as what to do.
Ryan Danielle Ashley is sure of her place in her family, but her employment is in question. She is also certain of one other thing – she doesn’t want to be involved with a baseball player.
When these two meet, their witty back and forth will have you alternating eye rolls and swooning.
“I follow her, like a puppy looking for someone to play with. At least I’m not drooling . . . I don’t think . . . but I probably am panting. I need played with. What can I say?”
Even though Dani believes that staying away from Lincoln is the best thing for her, she can’t. Lincoln slowly and methodically romances Dani.
“Even though I should back away from the predator he is, I can’t. I like being his prey.”
And just when things look like they might be headed to the HEA you want for them, a curve ball is thrown into their relationship.
This book also gives you a look into the Landry family and leaves you wanting more of their stories. I am really looking forward to more of this series and highly recommend this book, which can be read as a standalone.
“I woke up happier than I did when I was drafted. I feel like the bat is in my hands now–not the Arrows’ or my father’s or in limbo. I have it. And it feels good to swing.”
Lincoln Landry is the hot-shot of Landry family. Gorgeous, talented, and a successful baseball player, he doesn’t often have to work for attention from … well, anyone. When he meets Danielle, he realizes the value that can come from working for something different.
There were a lot of great things about this story. I loved Linc. He is a man that has many layers and it’s difficult to see exactly how deep he goes. Throughout his story, he proves to us that he can be more than the arrogant baseball hero (which he absolutely can be). He is a man, a man with flaws and insecurities. He definitely grows and changes as he moves through this difficult and different section of his life. I loved to see him evolve as a person and adapt his thinking to accept all that life was throwing at him. He is a strong character that represents well dealing with the challenges of life.
As always, the rest of the Landry family makes an appearance. Huxley is still, by far, my favorite. And no different from his appearance in Sway, he offers brilliant insight into what’s happening with Linc. Also, Linc’s father, who can sometimes seem biased between sons, gave some fantastic advice that I think ALL of us should take to heart. “Regardless of what happens in your career, you’re going to be fine. There are seasons of our lives. Look at me, I was a businessman. Then a politician. The a businessman.” This is the perfect advice to offer Linc as he faces some major decisions in his future. Also, Graham continues to intrigue me ….
Danielle is a character that I liked, but I really wanted to like more. At the beginning of the story she had some very valid reasons for wanting to avoid becoming serious about a man such as Lincoln. And although she did keep him at bay, it felt more like flirting than actually being serious about holding him at length. I totally get the concept that in finding “the one,” you HAVE to do something about it, but I was hoping for just a bit more hold off on her part. That being said, I still really liked her as a person, in general. Her values, attitude, clever banter, and class were all things that I enjoy seeing in a female character. She seemed a good fit into the Landry world.
This story is a good transition from Sway. I loved getting to know Lincoln and being allowed further access into the Landry family. This is still one of my favorite places to be and I daily long for the kind of happiness, love, and belonging that can always be found amongst the Landrys.
Second book in the Landry series is just as hot as the first . They are brothers after all . But Lincoln is my favorite kind of hero and not just because is is a good looking baseball player . It’s because he is carefree , sweet , sexy and funny .
Lincoln Landry, pure sexiness who happens to be a professional baseball player. He’s fun, flirty, confident yet also thoughtful, endearing and a kind hearted gentleman. Dani is his perfect match as she is sweet, a little shy and quiet which she soon finds that being included in the Landry family is not happening. With the family dynamics that are refreshing, honest, fun times loving get together and the sibling joking and kidding around it makes for an extra feel good read.
