When these two opposites attract, mistakes will be made. Lots of mistakes. Big, long, hard mistakes. Over and over, and over again… battery-operated-boyfriend!
In town to run the Winslow Inn on the picturesque island in Lake Michigan, Emily is determined to put her bed-and-breakfast in the local spotlight—while also keeping herself well out of it. But her sexy nemesis is bent on getting her into trouble, and when her impulsive retaliation to his teasing lands her in the local jail, Emily is ready to shove her tormentor into the lake… or the nearest bed.
Luke has one job—to keep the quiet, sleepy island town quiet and sleepy. No drama. No surprises. No tragedies. Never again. But the strawberry-blonde with the porn star mouth and interesting luggage turns his life upside down from the moment she sets foot on the island, and what began as a distraction from his memories of That Day, quickly turns into something more. Trouble is, Luke doesn’t want more with Emily—she’s not his type. She’s the opposite of his type. Until his brother Noah’s wedding, when bridesmaid Emily shows up with a sexy new look and their sweet tease escalates to a scorching hot, tender hookup that makes him forget why he was resisting the shy stutterer in the first place.
Getting involved with Emily would be a huge mistake, though it just might turn out to be the sweetest mistake of his life.

This is book two in The Nolan Brothers series. This is Like and Emily’s story and what a sweet read it is. These two characters get off to an attractive and enlightening start when Emily arrives in Lake Michigan, in the airport and her suitcase explodes. Of course, the only one to help her stuff everything back into suitcase is an attractive cop, Mitch and guess the items he finds to give back to you? Nope, not your jeans or socks! This story is chalked full of so many parts for these characters but they all come together smoothly and amazingly well. Eager to read more on the other characters brought into the series so far. Enjoy!

Opposites attract
Well… the first part of the book description got me intrigued immediately! How could I NOT want to read it?!
This is a story about Luke and Emily and all the drama, and ups and downs they go through, to find each other. Opposites can and often DO attract. But is it always a good idea? Will it work out?

Beautiful
Another Nolan brother bites the dust. Emily bought the inn from Nina and was com back to Thief Island when her luggage exploded up on the luggage ramp arches airport and runs into Luke who she hasn’t seen since her cousins wedding to his brother. It’s turns interesting after that.
Another winner by Ms. Olle the second the Nolan Brothers Novel. Emily comes in for her cousins wedding and is taken by her friends soon to be brother in law Luke Nolan. The only thing is he would never be interested in her she’s to plain.
Buy the book and see what happens.
SWEETEST MISTAKE is a standalone read with a HEA. It is quite steamy so be prepared if that is a problem for you. It is set on an island around Michigan. Emily has come to the island to open a B&B and get a new start in life. She has lost her mother to a terrible disease. She was her only caregiver for over 10 years. Her parents divorced when she was young so she finds herself alone in the world except for one cousin.
The hero is an Irish cop on the island. He comes off as a total jerk in the first of the book. It isn’t long before you realize that he is suffering from PTSD and his only outlet is picking at Emily. He is a big, good-looking, charming guy, the total opposite of Emily. Emily stutters and has since childhood. Her father tried to correct her “problem”, not knowing what he was doing, and he destroyed her sense of self-worth. Teased and bullied in school, she quit 9 hr.s short of graduating college because she could not stand in front of a group and give a speech. She is a very insecure person. Funny and quite loveable but really beaten down by life.
These two get together over a period of time. They are truly perfect for each other, it just takes them a while to figure it out. This is a good love story. There are sad parts but more funny ones and it leaves you with a light heart. There are some twists and turns that you won’t see coming. It is a very good read and I definitely recommend it.
I was not paid for this review. I am not a writer nor do I know one. I am not kin to this author. I am a reader and this is my opinion, nothing more, nothing less. 8/30/18
Sometimes mistakes help you find the right path
Poignant. Steamy. Sweet. Funny. Sad. This book is a rollercoaster. But it’s a fantastic ride. Emily moves to Thief Island to start fresh. Luke has lived there his entire life but he feels far from the hero or golden boy everyone sees. This is the story of their journey into the light together.
This is one of those books that you cannot put in just one category as it inflicts so many different ranges of emotions from hilarious, to sad to tears to anger. Wonderful book to read. It starts out hilarious with Emily’s luggage comes off the conveyor belt at the airport with her things all over the place and not in her luggage. One of those items is a pink vibrator. OMG, you could just image. Fortunately or unfortunately, the one man who helps her gather her things, to include the vibrator, is Luke, Mr. Hunky. She met him the year before; however, he doesn’t remember her. She finally gets to her destination, an island in Upper Michigan. A few days later she finds out he is a cop and he stops her for all sorts of frivolous infractions which one has to laugh and her responses to him. Their bantering is a hoot.
However, as the book continues you find out that Luke considers himself a broken man unable to love and be loved.
There is so much to this book one cannot even begin to imagine. There are several twists and turns along the way. Definitely one to put on your TBR list.
