Sweet Troublemaker is such a fun story. I liked Polly and Nick. They make a great couple. I loved their banter and found myself laughing out loud quite a bit.
Polly has finally managed to get her nightmare of an ex-husband to sign their divorce papers. Now she’s finally able to move on with her life but she’s lost. The Polly she use to be is buried under the Polly she became when she was married. So what better way to find yourself again than go on an adventure. Destiny has her crossing paths with Nick, the man she’s never forgotten.
Both are at crossroads in their lives and looking for something more. Together they just might find it.
If you like sweet romances this one is worth giving a try. I can’t wait for the next book.
A gentle love story that started as a great friendship twenty years ago. Polly thought Nick was fun and always felt comfortable and safe around him. Fast forward to the present when they meet up again and find out that the link between them is still there and still strong.
Polly gets roped into “saving” Nick’s uncle’s wedding when the wedding planner quits suddenly within a week of the wedding. Unfortunately, not much planning had been done. Polly’s charity event planning skills help save the day, and working with Nick makes them realize how they feel about each other.
I loved the determination of the characters and the consideration they had for each other. The author shared a realistic love story with bumps and all. It was lovely and left me with warm feelings. Highly recommended for all ages. Wish more people were like these main characters!
“Sweet Troublemaker” (Indigo Bay Second Chances Book 1) by Jean Oram is a great read. I loved Nick and Polly’s story. This is a great addition to the Indigo Bay series, and I loved catching up with Daphne from the Summer Sisters! This story had humor, second chances, entertaining characters, sweet romance, family, and more. I can’t wait to see what happens next! I highly recommend to all fans of sweet romance, entertaining characters, and series.
Polly has had her confidence shattered by a bad marriage and believes love isn’t for her. Nick has always compared every woman to Polly and, in his mind, they’ve all come up short. Now, Fate has brought these 2 together after 20 years and the sparks fly. They are perfect for each other–if only Nick can get Polly to see that.
If you enjoy well-written sweet romances with likable characters, an engaging plot, humor, and delightful banter, this is the book for you. If you like swoon-worthy cowboys, this book and series are for you. If you like stories where family is important, this book and series are for you. I could go on but the point is: read this book!
You’ll love this fun book in the Indigo Bay Second Chance Romances Series! Nick and Polly were high school sweethearts who went their separate ways. Twenty years later, they meet again, when they team up to plan a wedding in Indigo Bay. You’ll laugh a lot and cry a little and swoon quite a bit. I highly recommend this one!
I love Indigo Bay and Jean Oram. Polly and Nick reconnect in indigo Bay while attending a wedding. They were beat friends and high school sweethearts. They end up helping plan the wedding and realize they care about each other. If you love sweet romances, you will want to read the entire series.
If you like second chance romances then you will LOVE this story! A well written tale about teenage love revisited you will love Polly for her bravado and sassiness and Nick for his laid backness and just cause he’s a cowboy! A great story of trust and passion, great chemistry, family and second chances! A must read!
This is a sweet, clean second chance romance about Nick and Polly reconnecting after about twenty years. Polly’s ex finally signed the divorce papers and she’s ready for a new start. Nick has just been fired from his uncle’s ranch, so he’s looking for a new start too. When they team up in Indigo Bay to plan his Uncle Roy’s marriage to Sophia, will this bring them closer? I loved what happened before the wedding ceremony and then, what happened at the reception. I hope there will be more books about the Wylder clan.
Nick and Polly shared a teenage summer romance and twenty years has passed since they last met. They were both forced to start over, she after divorce and he after his uncle let him go after working for years as a ranch hand. Nick is a prankster. Polly had forgotten how to be something other than a trophy wife and she misses having a career and purpose in life. They meet up again in Indigo Bay for his cousin’s wedding. This was a new start in life second chance romance with plenty of humor and sweet moments.
I loved this book!!! Great leading characters. Polly is running from her broken heart and Nick is pushed into running. They end up at the same resort for his uncle’s wedding and end up working together. She is so spunky and quite sassy – love her. Nick is still trying to figure out what he wants but knows he still wants Polly. They were teen sweethearts and best friends who lost touch. When they meet again it is like there were never apart. He doesn’t want to push but he doesn’t want to lose her again. She is scared to take another chance on love. This book will definitely stay on my reader and be one I read again – still smile when I think about Polly and Nick. Spoiler – there is a grand gesture that was amazing.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is a sweet second chance romance. I loved hearing about Polly and Nick when they were teenagers and first fell in love. They sure seemed to have a great time together. Nick brought the adventuresome out in Polly. Twenty years later the two meet again in Indigo Bay for Nick’s uncle’s wedding. I just love a cowboy and Nick sure sounds yummy. I feel bad about Polly’s first marriage, especially since she is so gun shy about men now. The two must move past issues they both have to find a future together. I encourage you to read the book. I voluntarily read an Advanced Reader’s Copy of this book.
This is a well written sweet romance. It’s obvious that some characters are from previous books, but you won’t get lost if you’re new to Indigo Bay.
I just loved this story of finding love again with your teenage crush! Polly is free again, free from Chuck and on her way to a “family” wedding in Indigo Bay (I want to go there). She is thinking of her first love Nick when who does she spot in line at check in! Her cowboy. I love the chemistry between the two of them, it is so apparent and so romantic. This is such a feel good romance, you know Polly has been hurt in the past but you just know they are right for each other, from the moment they meet again they just go together so well, they just get each other. I love how they have to pitch in to get a wedding put together for his Uncle and how they mesh their ideas together. It is such a great story, it has so much emotion in it that you will feel like you are right there watching them.
This is a sweet second chance romance with lots of emotion. Polly is recently divorced and trying to find herself again. Nick has just been fired from his uncle’s ranch and needs to work out where his life is headed. Fate brings these two back together and despite Polly’s uncertainty they get their second chance. There is lots to like in this story, there is humour and witty dialogue, cowboys, a wedding that could turn to a disaster, and a three legged dog. Polly and Nick have a lot riding on them and they are about to see if they can work it all out.
