Lincoln Reeves may be a pro golfer and revered swing coach, but when I meet him, he is just one more person telling me I’m not good enough. So, I do what any girl in my position would do. I tell him to get lost and take his arrogant, annoying smirk with him. I never expect to see him again. I certainly don’t expect to run into him that same night after one too many tequila shots.Turns out that … out that he’s kind of a big deal. Okay, fine, a really big deal. In fact, he might be the one person who can take my game to the next level.
Convincing him to help will be difficult.
Not throwing my club at his handsome face when he makes me work harder than I thought humanly possible will be excruciating.
But not falling for him will be the hardest thing of all.

I received an ARC of this book for an honest review.
Rebecca Jenshak isn’t a new to me author and I definitely get excited when I see a new book by her coming. This one was no different.
I LOVE sports romance and Sweet Spot hit all the right boxes for me, and it included a little forbidden romance in there too. Sweet perfection. Lincoln and Keira are definitely the sweetest spot. Set in Valley U, this book brings you into the world of golf, so even if you aren’t a fan… you might just change your mind by the time it’s all said and done.
From the moment I started, I was pulled into this story. I am not a fan of golf, but after this book, I want to look for all the Lincolns out there running the courses, wink wink. Low angst, little drama, some sweet banter and you have everything you need to make this book everything you love about a sports romance.
Rebecca delivered with this one for sure. I was laughing, crying, threatening to throw my kindle across the room because I needed it all to work out for them.
Four stars for this fun, light, easy read that definitely made me want to hunt down a golf course and see if I could find my own Lincoln out there.
This is by far the best story from this author, age gap, coach and player book! it was simply incredible, I had to read it in one sitting!
Y’ALL! This book has just made my week. I was so intrigued by the idea of a golf romance, and this one didn’t disappoint!! Keira is so in her head about the game that she loves…enter Lincoln! I seriously loved him. He was so ready to help her figure out how to harness her talents, and the chemistry between these two….WHEW! I loved watching these two figure out how to deal with their feelings.
This was my first Rebecca Jenshak book & I will forever be a fan! This was the perfect escape!
Kiera is a no nonsense, totally driven athlete. She knows what she wants and will stop at nothing to achieve her goals.
Lincoln is just going through the motions of life. He doesn’t have any time for anything outside of his business and doesn’t want to get involved with anyone.
These two make the perfect couple. Their banter, late night practice sessions, and chemistry had me flipping pages as fast as I could. I loved their slow burn romance. It made everything seem genuine and real.
I also loved getting to revisit The White House and seeing more of Heath. He is such an amazing character, and I cannot wait to see what Rebecca has in store for his book.

Easy, sweet, and low angst golf romance set in the Valley U world. A heroine who needs to get out of her own head on the golf course, and a hero that needs to get out of his own way on the love course? (Hey, I tried.) Keira is a golf LOVER. She eats sleeps and breaths the sport. Unfortunately she has a coach who isn’t a fan of her, so she doesn’t get the playing time or the support that she needs. Insert Lincoln Reeves. He’s the owner of a sports advice website, a former golf pro, and forever golf lover. He comes to Valley U as a favor to a friend, and ends up having some tense/awkward moments with Keira, but isn’t that how the best love stories start?
Anyway. Lincoln sees so much raw talent that he wants to help her out. Keira is reluctant, because in her experience golf coaches have been less than helpful. Watching Lincoln support Keira on the way to her dreams, and Keira bring Lincoln out of his workaholic bubble is just so sweet and pure. They have a couple tough times, but all in all this is an easy and sweet read. A heroine showing a hero that when it’s real love you’ll make it work, and a hero supporting his heroine on her way to her goals.
All in all a good read. We meet some new characters who I guarantee will become favorites, and some of the oldies show up in ways too.
The one thing I have found with Rebecca Jenshak and her books, is that they are so well thought out, detailed, passionate and absolutely everything a person needs for a sports romance. What I love about Sweet Spot is that it is not just a book about golf, it is a book about self discovery. Not just for Keira but also for Lincoln. That they do have a place in the world. Not just as individuals but also as a couple. Their connection is absolutely sizzling. Even though Lincoln fights it most of the time and Keira tries to play it off, these two together are magic. They play so well off of each other as well as their banter had me giggling and swooning at the same time. As the story progresses, you really get a feel for both characters and how they develop through it. Both are so passionate about not only golf, but life.
Overall, this is a brilliant story by Jenshak. While set in the Valley U world, it is a complete standalone. The attention to detail that the author has given to this book, especially regarding all things golf, was absolutely perfect. I never felt lost, because this girl knows nadda about golf aside from hit ball, watch fly! The passion, the chemistry, the absolute love and respect that these two have just makes you want the book to never end. It was pure magic and I loved every word of it!
I love sports, I love to watch it and I love to read about it, but golf doesn’t have the same appeal on me, because I see it more as an old, presumptuous, rich men kind of thing. But despite this, I decided to read this story to see if an author I esteem makes me like it.
Rebecca Jenshak succeeded to get me into golf, and her writing made me enjoy this story and these bunch of interesting, hot and funny characters.
Keira is a student, she plays golf for the college team but she feels like the team and especially her are not appreciated and supported as much as the men’s team is. Lincoln is an ex pro golfer, now owner of a very successful coaching company and a coach swing himself.
They meet at the driving range and they start a nice, funny, weird friendship. They share the same love and passion for golf so Lincoln accepts to coach her immediately but working together puts a brake on their relationship.
Will Keira risk all her dreams to chase her coach’s heart or the dream of becoming the best golfer is stronger than anything?
Lincoln and Keira were cute and lovely and I recommend to read their story even if you are not a golf fan because there is more than that to their journey.
Relationship goals, that’s what these two were for me. What happens when the college golfer with a crazy golf passion meets the hottie golf swing coach…an amusing meeting, and even more amusing book. These two cracked me up from their first meeting, and the second was even funnier…lmao…I can’t even with the shots over the shoulder.
Lincoln is a former golfer that has his own business, helping athletes with different things in all kinds of sports. You heard a bit about him in the Smart Jocks series, and we get to read some of our favorites from that series in this book too. Keira is a sassy hot-headed college golfer that has a crappy coach, but she hangs in despite him.
This was a great storyline. Safe and hilarious read. I really couldn’t get enough of these two. I loved the way they interacted with each other, their chemistry, for me, they really were relationship goals. I loved the Smart Jocks series, and I am so glad she continued in the Valley U world. We get some of those references, like The White House and my Zeke Sweets makes an appearance. We also get to meet some new favorites, like Lincoln’s gram, omg…she was so funny, laughed so hard with all her blind date shenanigans. An epilogue and a sweet hea.
#RelationshipGoals
This was a great, slow-burn read.
“I’m frustrated by my inability to ignore how gorgeous she is.”
Keira Brooks is a talented golfer on the Valley U team, however, the team coach seems to have something against her and never supports her. When she meets Lincoln Reeves, a well-known swing coach, she manages to persuade him to be her coach to improve her game. Never mind that he’s absolutely gorgeous because he is one tough taskmaster.
“She doesn’t need to know that I think it’s beautiful how she lights up when she talks about golf or how I want to run my fingers along her smooth skin.”
Lincoln Reeves has never been as excited to find someone with talent like Keira’s. His business is booming and he really doesn’t time to take on another personal client, but he can’t resist coaching her. Not only is she an impressive golfer, but she’s beautiful and sassy. However, with one divorce under his belt already, does he really have time for a serious relationship in his life?
“This unhurried pace and the look in his eyes as he stares down at me seems to blur the lines we’ve drawn and all the rules we’ve set.”
This was a great slow-burn romance. The relationship between Keira and Lincoln bloomed so naturally. I loved the rapport between them and how well Lincoln understood her ambition and what made her tick. Keira was a real trouper! She was incredibly dedicated to her craft and sport. Overall, a really enjoyable read.
I received a free ARC copy of this book from the author prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is a stand alone story set in the Valley U World, it has some cameos from the previous Basketball Players but it features all new characters and centers around the game of golf in the college setting. It stars Lincoln who runs a sports website where they do online coaching for all kinds of sports. Linc is a pro at golf and he is visiting Valley U and doing some clinics for the teams when he meets Keira, a 21 year old, hothead golfer whose coach hates her. She is obsessed with golf and so she ends up asking Linc to coach her and thats how a beautiful relationship begins.
I liked how while Linc and Keira are coach and student, it was not a forbidden relationship as no money ever gets exchanged and he is not in any way related to her school. So its not really a forbidden relationship. However it is still complicated as they both need each other and have a student/coach relationship. While there is also a big age gap in the story it was not a big deal in this story. Keira is 21 and Linc is 29. But age was never an issue in this story ebcause Keira is very mature.
They do not live in the same city so its a virtual relationship for a lot of the story. Though they do see each other in person when they drive to each other. I loved Linc’s gram and Keira’s dad. I loved how they were both there for their families and how Gran is there for Keira. when she needs her.
The only character I hated in the story was Keira’s college coach. I was hoping we’d see or learn why he had it out for her.
In conclusion this was a fantastic story about following your passion and working hard and giving it your all and following your dream.
I‘m a sucker for sports romance and Rebecca Jenshak is one of the best when it comes to Sports romances. This is my first golf romance and it was great!
The characters are amazing. Keira lives for Golf. Since her Coach is a pretty big ass to her she seeks out some other help and finds it in Lincoln a swing coach who has his own sports company coaching athletes. He also was a pretty great golfer.
The romance in this story was sweet, raw and very low on the angst. You could just feel how both of them fell for eachother.
It was great to read another sports romance book which doesn‘t focus on the typical sport like football, hockey or soccer. I didn‘t know any of the terms but it was fun to learn new stuff and see how Keira progressed throughout the book.

Sweet Spot is a fun, sweet and easy read. Keira is a college golfer with pro dreams, but saddled with a coach who has no interest in actually coaching her. She meets golf instructor Lincoln after he attends a golf clinic for the men’s team at her school. He sees her potential, but isn’t interested in taking on any more personal clients. Keira decides she won’t take no for an answer, and finally wears him down.
Keira and Lincoln have undeniable chemistry, and they really just fit together well. I love Keira’s sassiness and work ethic and how Lincoln really supports and encourages her. I couldn’t put down this light hearted romance once I started. I have no love for golf, but I was still drawn into this world. Rebecca does a wonderful job of describing technical aspects of the game without weighing the story down and making me lose interest. This is my first book by the author, but I’m definitely looking forward to reading more of her work.
The Sweet Spot is the perfect low-drama, fun, sexy summer read.
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book
I really needed this.
After reading quite a few darker books recently, I was blessed to be able to read this adorable golf romance, which is a first for me. This is set in the Valley U world but can be totally read as a standalone.
Kiera plays golf, but is struggling under the bad atmosphere from her coach. She bumps into former pro turned swing coach (I didn’t know those were really things) Lincoln after he runs a clinic for the boys team.
Their coach/trainee to friends to lovers story is light on the angst but super heavy on the cuteness.
If you like sport romances and need something to bring you joy, may I present to you Sweet Spot. It’s sure to hit yours. (I’m so sorry)
**I received an ARC of this from Wildfire Marketing on behalf of the author. I volunteered to leave an unbiased review**
This book definitely hit the sweet spot!
We finally get to be back in Valley U!
Once again Rebecca Jenshak has given us a swoon worthy sports story. As always, we get an intensely entertaining jock and a lovably sassy, main girl !
Keira and Lincoln were so great! They may be some of my new favourite Valley U characters. I loved their story so much! Rebecca Jenshak’s characters are always so fun to read, I love that we get both the guy’s and the girl’s perspectives on every aspect of the story. Although these jocks aren’t always and games (you definitely get some real life issue mixed into the story too) you can confidently read knowing that the characters will get somewhere great in the end!
Whenever a new Jenshak, Jock book comes out, I immediately know that I want to read it. From the second I finished “The Assist” I knew I was totally hooked on her writing. You always get a sweet story and in-depth, well written characters. The only thing you can lose by reading her books is a weekend, because you once you start reading you won’t want to stop!
Although I miss Valley U’s basketball boys, I am not mad at all that we get to experience a new sport and some new characters in this book! I love, love, love Keira and Lincoln and hope to see them again in future jock’s stories! Long story short, this book is a 10/10, 5 star read!
So here’s the deal… I really enjoyed myself while reading but it was kinda hard feeling all the chemistry between Lincoln and Keira and I blame golft for that; in my opinion It’s not sexy (sorry) if I can call (any) sport that
Now let me tell you what I did like; as a former pro athlete i loved the determination of Keira. She had that drive and want, that all pro athletes should have in order to succeed. I have to say I had to warm up to Lincoln. While he was the perfect coach, I kinda resented him his fears which almost blew their HEA. But with everything he did for her at the end of the book I could see him for what he was – a great man.
Over all I did like this story: it was light, with minimum drama and a whole lot of funny banter.

This author is an expert when it comes to writing an engaging new-adult sports romance as her characters are likable and relatable and the storylines are entertaining. I always clear my schedule when she’s got a new release out as I know that once I dive in, I will not be able to put the book down. Sweet Spot is no different as I completely devoured this book in practically one sitting. If you love college sports romances and/or slow burn romances with an age gap, then you will not want to miss out on this book!
To be perfectly honest, I was a bit skeptical when I discovered that the heroine played golf as I have never had a vested interest in this particular sport. However, I am now completely fascinated with the golf thanks to this book. I loved Keira for her spunky and sassy personality. She doesn’t shy away from hard work and her dedication to achieve her goals is admirable. As for Lincoln, he pushes Keira to be her best and he doesn’t always go easy on her. His past and workaholic ways cause him to shy away from relationships. I found both Lincoln and Keira to be very relatable and their characters well developed. The heat between them is a slow build up which I felt was perfect for this book.
Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this college sports romance. It was both fun and sweet with just the right amount of seriousness and steam. I discovered that golf is a rather interesting sport and the author did an excellent job in making it easy to follow along. The storyline was solid and the book flowed very well. I am curious to see what this author comes up with next!
Keira is passionate about golf and is on the college team, however, the coach is not very encouraging to her. Lincoln is the owner of a sports advice website, as well as being a pro golfer come coach, and when he sees Keira on the driving range, he instantly recognizes her raw talented and wants to help her. This is a well written tale which is a slow burn romance, which is a sweet and humorous read. I was captivated throughout this addictive page turner, and I recommend for all.
4.5 Sweet & Steamy Stars!
I really enjoyed this sweet, heartfelt and sexy romance! I loved Jenshak’s Smart Jocks series, and this is set in that same Valley U world. Golf is Keira’s whole world, and her dream is to go pro. Unfortunately she doesn’t get the chances to compete due to her coaches hostile attitude. When Lincoln Reeves, a former pro golfer, and revered swing coach is recruited to help the men’s team, Keira is irritated that the women’s team was not included. So when Lincoln happens to see how talented she is and tries to talk to her, she blows him off in a big way. They start off on the wrong foot but they soon find common ground through their love of golf. Lincoln loves her smart mouth but is more impressed at her determination, hard work, and passion for golf. That passion soon extends to their attraction for each other, but they try to keep it professional. Lincoln has worked hard to expand the coaching business his grandfather started. He works non-stop and his marriage suffered and ended because of it. He can’t stop thinking of Keira and her bright future, and doesn’t think he is worthy of this feisty, talented woman. Keira struggles with her confidence under pressure, Lincoln’s belief in her helps her determination to win not only at golf but win Lincoln’s love as well. I loved how Jenshak took her time building their relationship. Their sweet conversations in between their coaching session helped me to fall for them both and cheer for them to find their way to their HEA. It has the perfect blend of charming and authentic characters, smart and witty banter, and a fun, heartfelt story with lots of sizzling passion! I loved being in the Valley U world again and can’t wait for more!
Sweet Spot by Rebecca Jenshak is a novel set in the Valley U world (of which I am unfamiliar with) there are characters from previous books, but I still managed to read this as a standalone. I’ll get to those other books eventually though.
Lincoln and Kiera were a sweet, angst-free couple that made for a light-hearted and drama free story. I enjoyed watching Kiera bring Lincoln out of his self-imposed work closet and him showing her how to become the best golfer she can be. Their romance didn’t need any extra props. Just the simple story itself.
Sweet Spot by Rebecca Jenshak is the perfect sport romance that i need it to read. Its a sweet story that is based on golf, i cant beileve i will say this but i find myself enjoying the golf parts
This is the story of Keira who is a student in Valley U ( If you have read Rebecca Smart Jocks series you can identify this university) who wants to be the best on the golf team. Then we have Lincoln and golf player who knows trains other people and makes his living around that. When they meet they dont have a great start but once destiny puts them together again, they start talking a Lincoln decide to help Keira.
Lincoln is guy older that Keira who is divorced and he is not so sure he is ready to star a relationship again, but he didnt see coming Keira to his life. Once they start interacting more and more they cant denied they have an amazing chemistry, but would they do something about it??
If you want to find one what happens with Keira and Lincoln and if they will have their HEA you need to read this book as soon as is available!!! If you love sport romance this is perfect for you.
Can’t wait to read in the future the next book, because for the secondary characters i can think about one or two who needs to have its own story.
