I really liked this book and am still trying to imagine what a grand a chair onesie would really look like Cameo sure has some good ideas and I like the way all the characters work together
laugh-riot, supernatural, verbal-humor, situational-humor, murder
Never read one of Morgana’s books with Camino in it in public or you might get hauled off for excessive laughing! Only Camino could design a onesie to look like a Victorian grandmother chair! The mystery is fun, too, of course but really? The characters certainly are and the goings on are really far out, but don’t take my word for it go find a copy of your own!
What a fun story. When Camino’s uncle dies and Camino she finds herself in the will and asks Amelia to come with her to the reading. Good thing Alder senses that something isnt right he joins them on the trip. This is where strange things begin to happen..people begin to die, secret passageways are discovered, but no one knows who is doing the murdering? This is a great mystery that has quite a few suspects with motives…spoiler alert, Amelia is asked to bake a cake lmao!
Loved this one. If you want a laugh, this a good one.!
Great mystery! Camino receives a letter from a lawyer that she is included in a distant relative’s will. She convinces Amelia and Alder to accompany her. They become trapped in the mansion with the other beneficiaries in the will. Someone is killing them off one by one hoping to get the inheritance for their own. Can they figure out who is the killer before the killer gets them? I received an ARC copy of the book and am leaving an honest review.
Camino has inherited part of her uncle’s estate which is a sheep farm. She asked Amelia to come with her for the reading of the will. Alder insists that he also comes. They barely arrive at the sheep farm before the snowstorm before the entire party is snowed in. When the will is read there’s an odd stipulation.
This is my first Kitchen Witch mystery. I really enjoyed this book and plan to go back and read some more. The characters were interesting and I would like to know them better.
When Camino has to go to a will reading at her uncle’s house, she wants Amelia to go with her. Their friend, Ruprecht, and Amelia’s husband, Alder, have a bad feeling about this. Amelia and Alder both end up going with her. Shortly after arriving at hey uncle’s don’t house, a letter from Camino’s dead Uncle is read and it had nothing nice to say about anyone. There’s also there’s a caveat to inheriting the estate. Everyone has to stay at the house until only one person in the will is left alive and not suspected of murder! That person gets the whole inheritance. This is a lively tale with bodies showing up everywhere and everyone trying to figure out who is murdering people. I thoroughly enjoyed this cozy mystery!
