Sleeping with the boss has never been so sweet… young. Obviously, I disagree – and despite what Kane says, his eyes on my body are telling a different story.
If we do this, we have to be discreet. Secret.
But my steamy dentist has been burned before, and convincing him that I’m not going to be another break in his heart is about as easy as a root canal. Which is to say: I’m screwed.
Sweet On You is a contemporary m/m novel featuring a forbidden age gap romance between a hot as sin dentist and the snarky young dental assistant he can’t help but fall in love with. Though part of a series, this book can be read as a stand alone title.

Looking wasn’t a crime he just wouldn’t touch…
by and1515
Today was my first as a new assistant I was excited to working here why finishing school. He watched his friend try to park her vehicle in a spot near his but she failed miserably he still couldn’t understand why she bought a Panzer.
Honestly I’m a spoiled brat my parents had weird ideas about jobs and school and to many distractions.
But Adrian wasn’t sure about the program anymore his grades were slipping so when he saw the advertisement for the job he thought why not.
He’d also convinced his parents that working would be a good thing for him.
After all the truth was he really needed to see if this was for him or not.
Oh boy he barely looked at the new guy but the one glance was enough blonde with stunning blue eyes.
Kane knew immediately the answer no.
Emphatically out of the question he was a subordinate and way to young.
Still looking wasn’t a crime he just wouldn’t touch.
As the weeks quickly passed by
he noticed that Adrian still had quite
few issues especially paying attention more often then not he seemed unable
to concentrate and stay on tasked.
Kane wanted to be completely candid when he explained Adrian’s review.
He seemed to be enjoying the music
When he noticed Kane as he walked
in and holy moley he was still hot as ever.
Kane should have left when he noticed the kid surrounded by others but for some reason he ended up sitting with them.
Yeah he might be older but he wasn’t dead Kane knew what kind of
dancing went on here.
Adrian couldn’t believe his luck
when he pulled Kane off the dance floor and into the bathroom.
He must be losing his mind he was still to young for him however for Kane this was
no more then a quickie a simple hook-up.
Adrian never expected to have an opportunity like this an he sure wasn’t going to wasted it a stud like Kane should be worshiped.
The last person Adrian wanted to see him and his boss locking lips is Rome Hayes one of his brothers boyfriend.
Kane starred at one of his long time customers and apparently the two of them knew each other.
He stood there thinking about the clear warning Rome had given him about not leading Adrian and the fact he had several brothers.
Adrian had apparently bit off more then he could handle school and work and all the assignments he needed to complete.
He knew Rome more then likely shared
what he’d seen with his better half
so he should expect a lecture from him as well he just hoped no one said
anything to his brothers.
Adrian hated the fact none of his brothers
treated him like the adult he was and he really didn’t wanted to explain his situation one more time.
After all who wants to admit something happen and now the other participant wanted to act like it never happened.
Kane didn’t need his brother two cents
he already knew he crossed the line.
But what made everything so much worse was his brother comparing him to their useless parents who discarded people left and right once they had zero value.
Kane was tired of young immature guys who tended to have temper-tantrums they lied and played stupid games.
Adrian thought it was funny when he accidentally ran into the guy that had been with Kane at the deli.
Especially when Shayne told him he
was Kane’s little brother.
Adrian had spared no punches when it
came to manipulating his brother Leo
into showing up at the club after all
he needed the family support.
Kane was tired of fighting himself
he just needed to accept he was totally
attracted to Adrian.
He should have known the minute his
mother called demanding he make and appearance that she was up to something and it did take her long to try and shove him at her other guest.
However he wasn’t one to play games he was seeing someone he like very much.
So he really wasn’t upset when his father kicked him out for being honest.
Kane was horrified to see his mother at his door and she certainly chewed him up and spat him back out.
He’d been embarrassed to have Adrian hear how his own mother treated him.
Adrian wasn’t about to let things Kane’s mother yelled at them steal his awesomeness.
He wanted to do something nice for Kane to prove they belong together
that they made sense despite what his mother thought.
But unfortunately nothing seemed to be going right tonight and everything seemed to proving the opposite of what he was trying to accomplish.
Adrian had never been so uncomfortable in his life the stupid jerk just didn’t understand no so he defended himself the only way he could.
When he agreed to meet up
Kane hadn’t expected for Adrian to end them they way he did.
The last thing he really wanted was to celebrate him turning a year older but one learned never argue with your mom she’ll win every time.
Kane had probably one chance to fix his huge mistake he needed to pull on his big boy pants and apologize or grovel he just wanted him back.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This book surprised me. I will admit that I made a judgment (in the beginning), and I was wrong. Which reminded me how important it is to not judge a book by a cover, and how first impressions can be very deceiving. You see, I felt like Adrian was very immature. I had a picture of how the book was gonna go because of that impression. It was less than a chapter later, that I was eating my words and happy about it. Adrian became my favorite character in the book, after that, and I could not put it down.
The way Aiden Bates and Ali Lyda write as a team is incredible. It makes me want to read more, and also search out their individual libraries. (I mean, I hope they have individual libraries; my TBR needs their books). I loved the family dynamics of the Caldwell crew. However, I did NOT enjoy the Abbott family. Outside of Kane’s brother, Shayne, of course.
This is book 4 in the series, and it’s the book I started with. It’s possible to read it as a standalone, but as likable as the Caldwells are, you’re gonna wanna read them all. If you, like me, start with this one, there will be a few spoilers for the three books that come before, but it doesn’t go into detail, so it doesn’t completely ruin the surprise. The way it ends perfectly sets up book 5, and I cannot what to see what’s in store!

A May/December story. The boss is so tempting for Adrian but Kane is a complex man. Even when Kane is hot one moment and cold the next, Adrian got into his heart but by bit. They had awesome chemistry and there’s a bit of frustration as Kane wouldn’t decide on what he wanted. The story has interesting characters and some a little easy to hate. I loved how they connected and that love wins anyways.
I love the Caldwell men! They are smart, loving and really good-looking. And there are many of them. The men they fell in love with are pretty special too!
This installment is an age gap romance between the youngest of the Caldwell men and his boss. Adrian always gets what he wants, being the youngest, everyone spoils him. But Kane has been burned before, and by someone Adrian’s age, will he be willing to risk it again?
I love stories that involve not only love but also family! I cannot wait for the next one!
This age gap/boss romance had a lot of back and forth between Adrian and Kane. Adrian being the baby of the Caldwell crew felt like he had to prove himself as an independent man which didn’t include a relationship until he met his new boss, Kane. Unfortunately past relationships Kane had, jaded him to the point of Kane being the immature party in their relationship and not treating Adrian like the adult he was. Fortunately Kane got his thoughts and feeling together just in time for their happily ever after and introduction to the next book in the series about Leo.
