Luke Drake is obsessed with his job. He lives and breathes it. He likes routine and being able to keep his world calm while chaos is all around him.Every single morning, Kinsley Alexander can look at the clock and know when the next bell above the door goes off, it’s going to be Luke. Kinsley thinks Luke Drake is a jerk. He doesn’t have time for the world around him and she’s pretty sure his most … she’s pretty sure his most prized possession is his phone. It’s either glued to his ear, or his thumbs are moving a million miles a minute across the screen.
On a fluke, she decides to write little messages on his cup. Maybe it will make him come up for air and enjoy life. If anyone ever needed that, it would be Luke.
When that doesn’t seem to work, she gets up the nerve to talk to Luke instead.
Finally, Luke sees something other than his phone. What he sees is beauty so incredible it takes his breath away.
What he sees is Kinsley and he’s not letting her get away.
She’s meant to be his.
Tory’s back to wish you a Happy Valentine’s Day. Except she’s not bringing you candy or flowers. She’s bringing you an over the top Alpha that might be hard to wrangle, but is proof that when a girl whispers a few little words, while love is in the air, miracles happen. If sweet, hot, melt in your mouth heroes are your dessert of choice. Don’t worry, Tory has you covered with this one.

Kinsley runs her own coffee Shop and book store, which has always been her dream.
Luke is an attorney who finally got the nerve to ask kinsley out to dinner. He has never wanted to have someone permanent in my life.
Kinsley worries they are moving to fast but decides to just go with the flow .. instant love and attraction, when you know you found “The One” you just know …
Great book, love these two, loved this story..
This is a sweet little 86 page Valentine themed novella. It’s the story of a whirlwind romance. Luke finally gets his nose away from his phone long enough to ask Kinsley out on a date and they go from zero to sixty in no time at all. That’s the only date they go on. After that it’s carry in, Netflix and chill. Soon they’re meeting the parents and it can’t be more than a month before she moves in with him. That’s the basic storyline but the joy is in the details that you should discover for yourself.
Take this for what it is—a story that’s not supposed to be serious or even necessarily believable. It’s just a cute little fantasy meant put you in the mood for Valentine’s Day. Have fun with it.
Love of a lifetime
Luke and Kinsley. He’s a grumpy attorney. She owns the coffee shop he frequents. Finally her sweet notes on his cup of coffee gets him to take better notice and leads them to their HEA. Sweet, sexy and definitely makes the heart swoon.
Kingsley is a young businesswoman of a coffee shop who wants to attract the attention of one of her customers. Luke is all business. He never looks up from his phone. Kingsley is starting to write things on his coffee cup hoping he will eventually notice and look up. This is a cute sweet little story. Pretty tame. I felt it needed more editing and maybe a more complex storyline.

SWEET NOTHINGS
So, hard working Kinsley owns her own coffee shop, and Luke, a hot, successful attorney, who is almost 10 years older than her, gets his coffee, there, EVERY morning….And not just because he needs his shot of caffeine.. because he’s noticed the pretty owner…..And when he notices she’s writing little “sweet nothings” on his cup every day, he’s makes his move….and Kinsley has been wondering what’s taking him so long….
SWEET NOTHINGS is a short, hot novella, good characters with plenty of chemistry, Insta-love, a good story and a hea….Tory Baker has found her niche in the hot little novella….and she’s really good at it…
This book was cute and sweet. Sometimes a little too sweet but we all need a little something sweet to tide us over.
Luke is on top of his game but, has no time life. Kinsley finds him to be a jerk and decides to make him focus on life. The characters are well developed and engaging and the chemistry is hot and steamy. I loved that the storyline flowed smoothly.

Early morning love notes
Sweet Nothings is the third book in the Sweet Enough to Eat series where each book is by a different author but all have a Valentine’s Day theme to the story. This is the story of Kinsley Alexander and Luke Drake. She owns a coffee shop that he comes into every morning on his way to the office. Luke is a high priced attorney and as he is always working he does not notice much around him except for the lovely owner of the coffee shop. Kinsley is also always at work but she definitely notices the world around her, which also includes Luke, and tries to have a more balanced life. When she begins to write little notes on his coffee cup every morning Luke does not notice right away. But when he does finally notice them he finally asks her out to dinner. From one dinner date starts a relationship that is both fast-paced but also is realistic………….as when you know you have found the one you just go with it.
This book had an interesting story-line and nicely developed characters. What it could use is a good editor and proofreader. So for me, even though I did like the story, I found it harder to read.
I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
I just love this author. Her books are always amazing. I could not get enough. I opened this book and did not close until I was finished. Amazing once again.
Kinsley runs a coffee shop and every morning like clockwork Luke comes in for his coffee. Everyone stops to stare at him but he’s usually busy on his phone to really notice anyone. Then one day he comes in and isn’t on his phone Kinsley actually gets to talk to him. Sparks fly between them and he can’t stop thinking about her. When he gets to his office and opens his coffee to drink it he sees a message she put in his coffee. He wonders if he has missed this before or if she just started doing it. He went in the next day and got another message in his coffee. Its not long before he makes his move and asks Kinsley out. Will Kinsley change his workaholic ways?
This is a great story that will draw you in from the first chapter on. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

I adored Luke & Kinsley. He is obsessed with work and she is a sweet shy woman. I love how she express her feelings to Luke without him really knowing. And by doing this she opens his eyes to more than jut work. These two have so much chemistry with one another and they both need each other to help the other blossom. Another hit!
This was so so cute! I just loved Kinsley and Jake. They were so sweet. I like how there was no unnecessary drama, just two people falling in love. So great!!

A note on the side Of the coffee cup Luke is drinking one morning, tells him good morning. Luke who has been coming into Kinsley‘s coffee shop for months finally realizes that he’s been giving love notes on the side of his coffee cup. He wants to make sure that he’s not mistaken and follows the little notes every day until he gets up the nerve to ask her out for dinner or to dinner. Kinsley agrees and they go out for sushi. From there on the relationship seems fast but yet pretty moderate. Both characters are evolving through their career and their relationship Valentine’s Day is around the corner. Plus some of the ideas and activities Luke wants to do with Kinsley seals the deal. No cliffhanger and HEA. The end

I loved this book! Kinsley and Luke are a very sweet couple. I love how Kinsley is able to draw Luke out of himself, help him focus on things other than work. I loved how Luke made Kinsley the center of his life, helping her balance her passion for her coffee shop with the rest of her life. These two are truly a wonderful fit. A very fun and sexy read, perfect for Valentine’s Day.

Kinsley works hard she owns her own coffee shop and it is hard work the only thing that brightens her day is the hot lawyer that comes for his coffee every morning. Luke is a hard working lawyer who gets his coffee every morning from the same place and it isn’t because the coffee is so good no its the gorgeous woman that serves him Then she starts writing sweet nothings in his coffee each day and he is smitten Now it is time to make his move

Loved Luke and Kinsley
At 23, Kinsley is living her dream. She worked hard in high school, took a part time job in her chosen career, and presented her parents with a business plan. When she graduated her parents turned over her college find and she opened Topped Off, her coffee shop. She partnered with her friends who owns a Bakery and offers her bake goods as well. Business is good.
Luke at 37, is a successful attorney with his own firm. He stops in at Topped Off every morning for a black coffee. He has taken notice of Kinsley. A more stressful than usual day and Kinsley’s hand written note on his cup has Like taking action.
Sweet and steamy. Loved Luke’s proposal. A great epilogue to wrap up their story.
