Interesting, easy-to-read, fun, light mystery. The protagonist is on the edge of being too cute, but not. Plot line is unique. Very entertaining and hard to put down. I look forward to reading the next one in the series.
Very entertaining which probably kept me sane in a very trying month of stress.

Unsuspecting Sam discovers a near-death woman who has a secret, and a grave while trying to perform her duties as caretaker of foreclosed/abandoned houses. Where these events will lead her are stressful enough but then her estranged daughter shows up.
The character is not some 20 something looking for love. She is a grown woman doing her own thing. Fun to read, great pace and made me think that this Sam Sweet could be a real woman. Finally a great book with a grown woman as the main character..
