From the author of Saved for Me, The Christmas Pickup, and Take Me Home…Jane doesn’t know her name, where she is, or why she’s on the street in a flimsy nightgown in broad daylight. As far as her memory is concerned, she is almost a blank slate. Taking a chance on the kindness the handsome owner of a local coffee shop, she gets more than just a few free samples. Shepherd is having such a … having such a smashing grand opening of his new coffee shop, fate has landed the blonde bombshell of his dreams right in front of him. “Jane” is a lost and confused little lamb who needs his help, but she soon proves to be braver than anyone realizes. His inner possessive beast wants nothing more than to take her home and make sure she never remembers her old life.

Plus a bonus super-hot second epilogue!

Okay, so I was one lucky girl & I received an ARC of Sweet Jane, & I can say that I LOVED it so so much!!!
Sweetness & love at first sight are just some of the things you can expect. Jane & Shep are now one of my favorite couples.
If you haven’t read any of Abby Knox’s books I suggest you to change that immediately-you’ll thank me later.
Maybe you can start with Sweet Jane. I’m just so in love with this story. Everything was perfect. Simple as that.
I really had a good time reading this one.
I liked the idea of having a character not know who they were, but still finding love even in the weirdest of situations.
Jane wakes on a park bench not having any idea where she is or who she is. However, the delicious smell of coffee draws her into a fancy coffee shop called Cortex where she meets Shepherd.
Shepherd has dedicated his life to learning all about coffee beans and their health benefits. He may have not been able to convince a banker to invest and take a chance, but having his father take the chance has him working extra hard to prove what he can do. But all thoughts about coffee and beans go out the door when the beautiful blonde walks into his shop.
In this story we get a lot of different ‘tropes’ interwoven into one story.
-Virgin Heroine
-Cult
-Gay fiance
-Interracial Couple
-Instalove
-And the side characters are a completely different trope in that they’re older male/younger female & Instalove
I mean what more could you ask for?!?
Sweet is the perfect adjective for the title of this book because Jane is sweet and so is this book. I really enjoyed it.
Jane has lost her memory and has no clue how she ended up on a bench across from a coffee shop. Thank goodness for the kindness of a stranger. I loved Jane. She was sweet, kind and wore her heart on her sleeve.
Shepard is finally doing what he loves. He has opened his own speciality coffee shop and is so excited for its future. Little did he know his future would walk in lost and confused and take him on a journey of discovery.
I loved these two characters and the secondary characters as well. The twist in this story was a good one.
Abby Knox is becoming one of my go to authors for short, sweet and sexy reads.
I absolutely loved Shep… He’s the ultimate dream man.
Jane wonders into Shep’s business and into his life, With a temporary case of amnesias.
Insta-Love at it’s finest and swoon worthy read. Loved it.
I wasn’t sure what to expect from Sweet Jane but I was very pleasantly surprised by the steamy slowburn (hard to accomplish in such a short package) AND the interracial relationship. I appreciated how Abby Knox handled Shephard – the attraction between him and Jane was not fetishized in either direction. The premise is also unique (for me) and I also really appreciated both characters’ interesting backstories and the fierceness of their attraction to each other despite their obvious differences. The epilogue is also super sweet and inclusive. I look forward to reading what the other gives us next. 3 out of 5 wine glasses.
Loved and adored this book. Great storyline, Jane has no memory of who she is, she just knows she doesn’t want anyone to know where she is. Loved that she was in a pink nightie and robe…and just did not care. She walks into Shep’s new coffee shop and as soon as he sees the “Blonde bombshell” he knows she’s going to be his and says he is going to marry her. I adored Jane, she was just so cute and had zero filter. She was like a fun and quirky breathe of fresh air. I loved Shep and his dads relationship, such a great storyline.
Safe read, no om or ow drama, baby batter, epilogues and an hea. Cute story, with a quirky and straight forward heroine and a sweet hero. This was my favorite Abby Knox book to date. Could not read it fast enough.
