At age twenty, Molly Shakespeare knows a lot.
She knows Descartes and Kant.
She knows academia and Oxford.
She knows that the people who love you leave you.
She knows how to be alone.
But when Molly leaves England’s grey skies behind to start a new life at the University of Alabama, she finds that she has a lot to learn—she didn’t know a summer could be so hot, she didn’t know students … could be so hot, she didn’t know students could be so intimidating, and she certainly didn’t know just how much the folks of Alabama love their football.
When a chance encounter with notorious star quarterback, Romeo Prince, leaves her unable to think of anything but his chocolate-brown eyes, dirty-blond hair and perfect physique, Molly soon realises that her quiet, solitary life is about to dramatically change forever…

Does that mean I am a total cougar in the fact that I am in total love (or is it lust) with Rome Prince?
Why, why, why have I waited so long to read this book? What a belter!
Molly…love, just love her. Her tragic family, the beautiful words she says and her lovely heart. And I loved the fact that she is English….like me!
Rome. Omg. I do not know even where to start. ‘Mol, Your gonna be my salvation’…..no words, i have no words. Maybe I should just do a rating system for book boyfriends? 10!
I loved it, simply loved it! I could gush for hours about this beautiful, heartfelt story!
So romantic
This book brought me my fave Romeo EVER. He is the Prince in this story but… He will became the King of Your heart!!!!
I absolutely ADORE this book!!!!!!! Rome and Molly captivated my soul and heart from the begining plus this title….. After reading this book I’m sure – nothing is more accurate. Molly and Rome are my home… Sweet home with the most amazing and caring family inside.
Sweet Home is not only beautiful story.,. It is the book about breathtaking moments, which made us tough but also strong, we just can’t give up.
I just finished this book…. but I already miss My Home with Molly and Her Prince.
Highly recommended title!
Tillie Cole literally ripped my heart out with this book and slowly pieced it back together. This book is so much more than a college/sports romance. I had so many different emotions reading this book. Rome and Molly went through things that no one should ever have to face in a lifetime and it absolutely devastated me. I loved their unshakeable bond and how much they love each other. The love and strength these two have is absolutely breathtaking, and the support they have from their inner circle of friends is so touching and beautiful. I don’t think I have ever been so invested in a book, I literally couldn’t put this book down and when I did, I was constantly thinking about it and what would happen next. Do yourself a favour and pick this book up immediately. I promise you won’t regret it.
“My body recognises you as something that’s good for me. My mind recognises you as someone who’s right for me, and my soul recognises you as someone who is meant for me.”
First when I started reading I thought this book was going to be like every other nerdy girl, super jock and be totally predictable. Let me tell you it was so much more!!! I read this one in one day and stayed up late to finish it because I was so entranced by Molly and Rome.
What a fabulous start to this series and thank goodness I have the whole series on kindle 🙂
Sweet Home
6 STARS!!!
“It only took Romeo one look at Juliet and his fate was sealed. Maybe I’m just like my namesake, and maybe you’re just like yours.”
I have re-read this series so many freaking times. It’s one of my all time favorite series! Romeo and Molly are truly everything. The story is just simply amazing. The writing is beautiful and simply flawless. The characters are unforgettable. I get emotional just thinking about everything.
Molly Juliet Shakespeare is a sweet, geeky british girl that has been alone for a very long time. She lost both her parents at a very young age. Molly is a very smart, ambitious girl that focus a lot on her studies. She is working on her master degree and is attending University of Alabama. She is not interested in relationships or boys. She just want to focus on her studies. But then she meets Romeo.
Romeo “The Bullet” Prince is the star QB for the Alabama Tide. He is every girl’s dream guy. He can charma the pants of everyone. But he doesn’t do relationships. On the surface, he has everything. But looks can be deceiving and everything is not as it seems. He is angry, lonely and just trying to stay afloat. Everything changes the day he meets his Molly.
“I think we need to stop quotin’ that damn play, Shakespeare. I feel like we’re the fucked-up rated-R version of Romeo and Juliet.”
This story is about two lonely souls finding each other. About a broken boy and a lonely girl.
The day that Molly and Rome cross paths for the first time is an important moment for both of them. It’s the moment that changes everything, forever. I think it’s rare to find a love like theirs. They both have heartbreaking stories. It really broke my heart. Their love is so precious and pure. A true love. People will try to tear them apart. But Molly and Rome are a team now. They will fight together to protect their love.
Their relationship was sweet and romantic. I love Romeo’s love for Molly. He is possessive, protective and dominant. He was so devoted and totally in love with Molly. Romeo is treated horribly by his parents. They are pure evil. Rome needed Molly so much. They never doubt their love for the other, but they were scared of losing what they had just found. It broke my heart when he talked about his abuse and neglect. I’m so glad he has his Molly. She will always be there for him. They will never be lonely again. There’s so much more to this story. You truly have to experience everything that is Molly and Romeo. I loved their journey. It was filled with trauma and betrayal. Heartbreak and so much love.
“I never knew before tonight what it felt like to be wanted… just me for me.”
Every character in this story was amazing. Both Rome and Molly’s friends. They had a great dynamic and were so much fun, sad and beautiful. Their personalities complimented each other perfectly. I really wanted to be part of their group. They are all really complex and carry their own pain and secrets. I have so much love for them and this series.
You could not be more opposite than Molly and her Romeo
Poor English girl and wealthy American boy. I believe they were fated, written in the stars. I loved everything about it, the good the bad and the absolutely awful.
Here’s the story of Romeo and Molly…Juliet
A sweet book worm running from her past collides with the big man on campus. Crimson Tide’s QB Romeo is oddly transfixed by the British beauty.
Their story is not an easy one. It had some ups but many more downs. I truly love the broken people trying to be better. I love that they aren’t insta-better. I look forward to reading book 2
When you read your favourite book, you just never know if listening is going to be the same, but listening to Sweet Home had me wanting to keep listening just like i couldn’t put the book down at all
Anna Parker-Naples Read this book so good and her different accents she did were so good and never annoyed me she did a really great job in some audio you can’t wait to get to the narrator talking normally but i never once felt that way in this book
This is one of my favourite Tillie Cole books loved everything about it and was so excited to read/listen to it again. Oh my goodness i forgot so much about this book and how intense it is and what Romeo and Molly went through together and in thier pasts.
Rome, i forgot was so possessive and controlling but at the same time as you got to know his character you could understand why. He kept people at a distance and never tried to commit fully to anyone. He was one angry boy but you really couldn’t help falling in love with him.
Molly was so innocent and had been through so much in her young life. I just adored Molly she was so cute and such a lovable character. I really loved how she understood Rome and he understood her it was like them against the world.
We get introduced to so many different characters in this book some awesome and you can’t wait for there story and others that made you laugh and others that you just wanted to punch in the head.
This book was emotional which is not good when driving and trying to keep it together, i laughed thanks to Cassie in this book, it just really made you feel and i loved every second of it.
If your looking for an awesome college romance with some NFL and an amazing storyline then this is your book massive 5 Stars and now can’t wait to get into the rest.
My first read of Tillie Cole and just loved this one! the story just took you in, never letting go. Romance, heartbreak and loss. Couldn’t put it down! loved Molly and Romeo together and seeing them trying and fighting for their pure love. I truly enjoyed reading this one! Can’t wait to read more!
I love reading new adult books and this book is one of the many books that are waiting on my ‘to read’ shelf to get read. But I finally got around to reading it and now I’m only sorry that I didn’t read it sooner.
Molly Shakespeare and Romeo Prince. What beautiful names for two young people who had a lot to deal with in their young lives. But destiny has a plan with them, the only question now is will their story end in a happy end or will it end in a Romeo and Juliet kind of way?!
Molly Shakespeare knows about lost. She’s only twenty years old but she has already lost her family, one by one. So now the only thing that she lives for is her studies.
But a situation in Oxford makes her decide to leave England to go to the University of Alabama. It doesn’t take Molly very long to realize that Alabama is very different than Oxford. One of the differences is that people in Alabama are obsessed with football, something that Molly knows nothing about. And this becomes very clear when she meets the ‘famous’ Rome Prince, the notorious star quarterback, and Molly doesn’t recognize him. At first Rome is shocked that Molly doesn’t know him but later he finds it very refreshing to meet someone who’s only interested in the guy ‘Romeo’ and not in the famous star quarterback ‘Rome’.
The downside of this new experience is, that unlike other girls, Molly isn’t jumping in his arms. No! This time he has to do the chasing. Molly doesn’t know what to think about Romeo. What does he want from her? She isn’t his normal type of girl, she knows nothing of football and the truth is that she has no interest in it. So why does he keep seeking her company and why can’t she stop thinking about him. Molly’s fine being alone, it’s something she’s accustomed to but slowly her life is changing. She has made friends here, she’s going to parties and having fun and now she’s falling hard for the biggest playboy of Alabama!
Molly isn’t the only one confused, other people aren’t also very happy with the attention Romeo is giving Molly. One of them being his parents. No! They have other plans with their only son and in that plan there isn’t any place of an English girl or for Rome to be a star quarterback. And they will do everything in their power to get this through to Rome and Molly.
Romeo has find the one thing that he never though he would find and he found it in Molly and now he will do everything he can to keep her by his side. He will fight his parents, his ‘ex-girlfriend’ and he will even fight against his and Molly’s demons to keep her. He only hopes that in the end Molly will do the same.
This story wasn’t what I expected. I didn’t think that it would be so emotional, that it would make me feel so much. But I loved it from the beginning till the end.
The story was told from Molly her POV (Romeo’s POV is told in the next book of this series). I liked Romeo’s dominant side and the side of him that he only showed Molly.
After finishing this story I immediately started reading Sweet fall.
(There were a few typos in this story. Nothing disturbing but enough to pull my attention.)
This was a great way to start this series. I really enjoyed this story and look forward to the other books.
“Fateful star-crossed lovers”
It took me a while to finally start reading this series. What withheld me was that the series took place in a college setting/environment. I am not a hge fan of college new adult romances. It’s always your typical manwhore getting the good girl etc. HOWEVER, I am a HUGE fan of Tillie Cole’s writing and after seeing my favorite bloggers promoting and sharing teasers for this series, I just had to give it a chance. Oh boy am I glad I did!
“For the first time in my life, I wanna be with just one person. I wanna be with you.”
This book was so much more than your typical college romance with a lot of drama (you know what I am talking about). Rome stole my heart from the start, he is a very unique character who is so passionate about the people and things he loves (Football and Molly). Molly is British and is a good girl that ONLY focuses on studying and is super smart. Normally in the good girl pushes the popular jock away and doesn’t want anything to do with him because he is a player. But Molly just couldn’t stay away from Rome. From their first meeting on Rome was hooked on Molly. Rome is dominant, aggressive, possessive and passionate. He didn’t play around at all, he knew what he wanted and put 110% in to get it. He wanted Molly, and she couldn’t resist him either. Rome was a player who had flings with many girls, but from the moment he met Molly he became a one-woman man. He was determined to make her his girl. The sex scenes were smoking hot. Rome was very dominant and that was totally OK with Molly, who in her daily life was very independent and always in control. Rome is maybe this golden boy of the town but not all is what it seems like. It really took him a long time to finally tell Molly what was bugging him all the time.
I am so happy I gave this series a chance and I want to thank Tiffany from Black Heart Reviews for the beautiful teasers that pushed me to finally start this series!! It was a beautiful romance about two souls becoming one. I want to find my sweet home as well!
“Home is with the other half of your soul, the person who shares in your grief and helps you carry the burden of loss. Home is with the person who throughout it all never gives up on you and brings you eternal Happiness. THAT, Molly dear, is your home SWEET HOME.”
