When Marietta newcomer Elena Puente is coerced into attending a speed-dating event at the popular Copper Mountain Chocolate shop, she’s blindsided by a serious attraction to local cowboy, Wesley Banks.Still recovering from a broken engagement, the first-grade teacher from Las Vegas isn’t looking for romance. She’s in Montana to get to know the great-grandfather she never knew existed until she … until she found some hidden family letters. Judge Kingsley is a grouchy recluse and he’s far from welcoming, but Elena is determined to stay in town long enough to give his neglected estate on Bramble Lane a facelift.
Elena’s resolve to avoid romance is tested when she discovers Wesley is the caretaker of her grandfather’s rural property. Soon, she and the cowboy are attending more speed-dating events at the chocolate shop and she’s seeking his advice on how to deal with his ornery boss. Local gossips wager the old Judge will run Elena out of town before anything serious develops between her and Wesley. But Wesley’s a determined man, too, and he’s betting Elena belongs in Marietta forever…with him.

Loved, loved this book! When a woman gets caught in the middle of a speed dating session by accident in shorts and a tank top, what does she do? She sits down and starts talking. This funny beginning hooked me but it was the relationship she built with her great grandfather that she never knew that kept me reading. And of course, the hunky cowboy who kept asking her out!
Sweet Home Cowboy (Love at the Chocolate Shop Book 9) by Marin Thomas
This is Elena Puente and Wesley Banks’ story.
Elena discovers that she has great-grandfather living in Marietta. She is at crossroads in her life so she decides to go to Marietta to meet her great-grandfather. Elena’s arrival into Marietta was so funny. She meets Wesley and they both may not be interested in a relationship but there is no lack of chemistry between them. Elena meets her great-grandfather, Judge Kingsley, and they both have met their match. I loved the banter between them.
This is a wonderful sweet romance with characters that were so much fun. A great read when you are looking for a fun and heartwarming story. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Very cute story. Quick read. Well written
First book I’ve read by this author. Enjoyed it very much. Have read two others of hers since. Light but very enjoyable read. I look forward to reading more from this author.
Enjoyed the storyline, it was not as contrived as I had originally thought. The characters were fun and believable. The strength of family was the predominant theme with a budding romance built in to the story. Great beach read!
Great read.
A sweet read. I enjoyed both characters and reading their journey to love.

Just a very enjoyable, entertaining read with a few very, very nice twists. Loved it
I liked this book. It is a relatively quick read and has more than one story line that tries back to the community. It’s a happy book that will leave you feeling positive…enjoy!
Sweet Home Cowboy was a nice, cute book.
I’ve had a very good time reading this story,my heart melted and I couldn’t stop smiling till the end.
Elena and Wes are some lovely characters, their chemistry is clear since their first encounter at the chocolate shop but their lives are so different that they have more than one reason to slow down their relationship.
Let me sum up by saying that all is well that ends well.
I loved Elena “take no prisoners” personality, she is so adamant to know her great grandfather and to make him finally feel alive after a long time.
This was one of my favorite story in this series,i hope to read more about Marietta’s villagers soon.
An enjoyable easy read storyline
Sweet story. Kinda predictable plot. I enjoyed it regardless.
