My first K. Lynn listen. Samantha & Jace have totally stolen my heart. Perfect Enemies to lovers story! Excellent narration by Callie Dalton & Teddy Hamilton
5 Peachy Stars
KC Lynn…once again you have completely touched my heart and soul with your beautiful words. Seriously! I found myself laughing, swooning, and crying all throughout this story. Jase is what dreams are made of. Tall, dirty talking, Alpha firefighter. Totally swoon worthy and completely smitten with Sam even though she’s the brother of his sworn enemy. Sam is the sweet pre-school teacher who loves to give him a hard time. Their chemistry is off the charts! Their love/hate banter is hilarious, and the sexy time is smoking HOT, but I loved the fact that they take the time to get to know one another and their friendship is even more amazing.
KC always takes us on a journey where you find your heart melting, then breaking, then being put back together again. Sawyer has always been my favorite and I absolutely love that Sam ended up with someone exactly like the men she loves most in life. The heart wants what the heart wants, and in her case, it’s her brother’s most hated rival. I absolutely LOVED Jase and Sam’s story and if you’re a KC Lynn fan, you won’t be disappointed! Another job very well done!

~~ 5 PERFECTLY PEACHY STARS! ~~
“I loved you before I ever met you.”
Oh be still my wildly beating heart!
SWEET HAVEN, book two in KC Lynn’s Sweet series was beyond breathtaking! This enemies to lovers romance featuring Jase Crawford, a gorgeously cocky, filthy-mouthed firefighter with a heart of pure gold, and Samanantha Evans, the sweet and sassy school teacher who also happens to be his hated enemy’s baby sister, was a pure delight!
Jase and “Sensible Sam’s” love story was captivating, sexy AF and written in the stars! Because although their union was forbidden because of the bad blood between their families, they were true soulmates and not even the almighty Sawyer’s wrath could tear Jase and his sweet “Peaches” asunder!
I relished every sigh-inducing, toe-curling, heartachingly emotional moment and KC Lynn proves yet again that she can pen tempestuous love sagas featuring big, protective , swoon-worthy alphaholes—and the beloved, small town sweethearts they would walk through fire for— like no one’s business!
Now I can’t wait to dive into SWEET DESTINY, and savor the next chapter of Sam and Jase’s epic love story!
A MUST READ!
I will be honest, I always become extremely anxious to write a review on books KC writes, but not for the reason you’d think. It’s cause I always feel like whatever words I come up with will never do justice to how I feel about reading her books. Each one is has a special place in my heart, each one gives me a certain feeling that is unique to each one, and each one has changed my life in many ways.
In Sweet Haven it taps into the classic, sweet vibe of the 50s that meets an almost Romeo and Juliet feel, and I am instantly transported to another time when I read about Sam and Jase.
Sam Evans, schoolteacher, sister to Jase’s sworn enemy, sassiest peach in the basket, and a spirit coming back to life. After her spirit is beaten down, to watch her come back to be her fun and sassy self with Jase just leaves a perpetual smile on my face. Even though she tries to keep from losing her heart to him, family drama be damned, Fate shows her (and him) that it’s will, will be.
Jase Crawford, sexy firefighter (is there anything else? lol), quick tempered, overly confident rival to Sexy Sawyer. Gosh, I think having him learn that peaches are the best things on this planet might be my favorite part (literally LOL). Trying to fight the connection, he quickly learns that there is no turning away from Sam, and I’m sure Fate had a small laugh at his expense when a sweet blonde haired, green eyed finally brings him to his knees.
Y’all… even though this is a novella, you get everything you could possibly need in a read. From the moment you open the book you are instantly transported to their world, and taken on such a roller coaster of emotions, like all KC books give you, that you will be begging for more as you reach for the next book. Tears be damned! Regardless of what you believe, this will have you believing in something greater than yourself. I’ll continue to recommend her to anyone that will listen to me, and hope you will as well.
Read this when it released. K.C. Lynn is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. I just love the way that she spins a story. The Men of Honor series is one of my favorites. I am vested in the characters so whenever I can read more about them or their friends/loved ones I will. Sweet Haven has been a book that I couldn’t wait to get. K.C. didn’t disappoint. My eyes were glued to the book from start to finish. I read this in one sitting. I loved Jase and Sam. I felt as if I were right there cheering them on. I will admit that I shed some tears with this book. I love Jase’s cocky arrogance (well until it hurts Sam). I love Sam’s sweetness and the way she loves her family. The book has it all: steamy scenes, love, humor, realness, etc. And of course for all of us MOH fans, Sexy Sawyer made an appearance. However, I wanted to kick Sexy Sawyer’s butt a few times. I can’t wait to see what is next with this group. Dual point of view. No cliffhanger. Even if you have never read anything from this series, that is ok. You can still read this book without wondering who is who. K.C. does a great job of explaining the backstory. Happy reading!
very time I finish a KC Lynn book I sit there for an hour and sit there and think yep she has bloody done it again and made me fall in love with another set of characters who you know will be in your heart forever.
Every single one of her books wedged there way into my heart and I will never forget her books. I feel like every time I read one of her books there is a message and for Sam what I took is love who you are and don’t settle for anything less than us girls deserve and so many women need love them selves more and not care what anyone thinks be yourself and love u.
This’s book was beautiful, loving, heartwarming, passionate and loved every single page. KC writes so perfectly. I loved the family values Sam had and how close she is with her whole family and that Jase respected her for that. I loved how strong jase was and how much he loved her and would do anything for her (there needs to be more jase’s in the world)
I won’t say this was my favourite book because I love all of kc’s equally and all her characters and I love how they pop up in each of the books.
I loved the epilogue and not many make me cry but oh no not to my surprise of course KC managed it, it was such a beautiful epilogue and made the book so much more.
If you haven’t read KC Lynn then drop everything and do it you won’t regret it and if you have and haven’t get into Sweet Haven it is amazing
I recommend her books to anybody that will listen and this book deserves a million stars 🙂
A part of me doesn’t know how to review this book ‘cuz I want to do it justice! I absolutely devoured this book; I loved it from beginning until end. From all the books I’ve read of this author so far, this one is definitely one of my favourites. It really is an amazing story that will touch your heart and leave you wanting more! For me, this one is worth more than 5 stars!
Jase is a firefighter and has known Samantha for years. He has a major dislike for her brother and with that her family. A rivalry between two families that’s always been there. But when something happens to Samantha and a spark that was already there between them, they get closer. During their time getting to know each other, sparks fly even more and the chemistry between them is very hard to ignore. But Samantha’s confidence is low because of her past and things have changed her. She has built walls around her and Jase is trying to break through them. Will they find their way to each other or will their past & present break them apart?…
Sometimes you just can’t hide what you feel and it just feels right. It’s only you who can decide if it’s worth the fight…
OK, it looks like I’m in the minority here, but I’ll stick by my review. The story was actually pretty good, the delivery not so much. I’m not offended by foul language, especially when it’s used to show emotion or fits the scene. In Sweet Haven, it was thrown around with no apparent purpose. I don’t mind raw scenes as long as they are used to enhance the story or are needed for the setting. I don’t need them repeated just for the sake of trying to thrill the reader for some reason. In this one, I felt like I was reading the same scene over and over. The story was disjointed at times. There were also lots of dropped words within sentences. You could still figure it out, but it got annoying after awhile. Truly, the same story could have been written in about 50 pages and the reader wouldn’t have missed a thing.
Love the lead characters – very enjoyable, quick read.
