“I adore Kristen Ashley’s books “—Maya Banks, New York Times bestselling author When you lose everything, anything is possible. Lauren Grahame needs a whole new life. A simpler life. However, the people of Carnal know chemistry when they see it, and they’re not about to let Tate and Lauren miss their chance.more
Swoon- worthy Tate and heartbreakingly authentic Lauren – every woman can relate to Lauren and drool over Tate. This book combines an absolutely breathtaking romance with a terrifying serial killer. The characters are genuine and original, with notes of whimsy and pathos. I highly recommend this book.
Adult Contemporary Romance/Suspense
I am so addicted to Kristen Ashley books. It’s weird, because I’m more of a paranormal girl and most of her books are contemporary.
This story started with a bang and a lot of sass. I was instantly hooked.
The romance was steamy & very adult. It was not erotica. But, I can’t say it was not erotic.
Cause, …
I loved this book!! I fall hard in love with Tate, he’s the alfa male of my dreams!! The plot is easy to read, it had it all: romance, action, suspence, steamy, sexy, angst, HEA, everything. For me, the best book of the serie.
Audio book edit: Such and awesome story and the narrator was good enough for it. Not thrilled about Tate’s voice, but wasn’t horrible. Great listen!
I’m a huge fan of KA and love everything she’s ever written, but this series is a favorite, definitely. This book was better than the previous one, and I devoured it in two days even reading it for …
I read it twice. Loved it
OMG. I loved the story and the characters are unique and relatable. This was funny, scary, sweet and salty and I couldn’t predict anything.
One of my favorite go to re-reads of all time!
Since I’ve been sick for days now. I don’t really feel like doing a huge review. This one will be shorter and to the point. Kinda… I really enjoyed this book. It was angsty, dramatic, and suspenseful without being over the top or driving me crazy. I loved Tate although not as much as Max from book one. I loved Lauren more than Nina from book …
Um… Tate he had to grow on me because first impressions were not that good, especially when he’s talking about Lauren to Krystal, “Jesus, Krys, maybe you wanna talk to me before you hire some sorry-a**, old, fat, suburban b**** to drag around our goddamned bar?” He started to grow on me when he buys Lauren a phone not sure why but that is a huge …
One of Kristin Ashley’s best! Love Lauren and especially Tate but he does need to learn when to shut his mouth. As always she writes a long book which I like because able to sink in and have a good read. This is a reread for me and just as good the second time around!
Enjoyed the series – 6 books – some books over 600 pages but all a great read!!
Another winner by my new favorite author! This one reaches deep inside to that part of us that yearns for our soul mate, the one who fights for us, believes in us and needs us. Another fun read with awesome, witty timing, loveable characters you would want as friends, and a fast paced murder mystery page turner! What more could you want? If …
I’m hooked. Read all of this series. Ready to expand my collection.
