Sweet Curves (Clearwater Curves Book 1)

This is the first book of the Clearwater Curves Series that’s being co-written by four amazing authors, ELISA LEIGH, MK MOORE, C.M. STEELE and KL FAST 🙂 and this was a great book to start the background and foundation for the stories of this series 🙂

I have to start off by saying, I can’t believe how cruel Lanie’s family was to her and I felt sorry for her because all she wanted was to be loved, not criticized and made to feel less, except for her Nana, who loved Lanie and believed in her <3 Then, she met three other women who would become her support, who understood how she felt when she was labeled by other people as "fat"...
and then out of nowhere, she meets Wyatt, the man who will become her everything, the love of her life, her soulmate, the man who loves her just the way she is and wouldn't change one single thing about <3

I hate when people body shame women who are just larger than other woman and have curves and this was the case with Lanie and her bffs', Fancy, Avery and Stella. They were curvy in all the right places 😉 and men like Wyatt appreciate and love all of her curves and he was very demonstrative in how much he truly loved them 😉

Wyatt is a little bit older than Lanie by like 8 years and was in the military. He's a determined man but since getting out of the military is a bit lost, especially since he wants to settle down with a good and loving woman and start a family, like his brother did. He's very close to his family, which showed when I was reading this story. Wyatt is also a very devoted and loving uncle to his two nieces. So, who would have thought that one innocent visit to the ice cream shop would lead him to the love of his life, the woman of his dreams <3

For me, this story was definitely insta-love and in a week, they both knew they couldn't live without the other and were each other's one <3 <3

Wyatt & Lanie's story was so sweet, intense, sexy and beautiful <3
I loved every moment I read this and I was so happy to read how beautiful their happily ever after was and what an awesome epilogue the author, Elisa Leigh provided for her readers 🙂 She gave us a wonderful story of Wyatt and Lanie's journey when meeting and after, when 15 years have passed, together, with a beautiful and big family, their love still going strong, if not stronger than ever as well as their passion for one another 😉

I have to admit something though... I shed a few tears for Lanie because she finally found what she was looking for; a man who loves her unconditionally and didn't ever want her to change, instead loved her just how she was. She found the man of her dreams who gave her unconditional love, support, passion, and the family she's always wanted <3 <3

Lanie has always felt out of place with most of her family. She doesn’t fit into their mold of perfect body, perfect life. Fortunately, she had her grandmother on her side. Now she owns and runs the ice cream shop her grandmother founded. She has a group of friends that are supportive and wonderful. She figures that because she isn’t slim and perfect that romance isn’t in the cards. But when Wyatt walks in with his nieces, she really likes what she sees. Wyatt feels the same. After serving his country, he doesn’t feel as comfortable with crowds. So he keeps to himself but his family worries. So to ease their fears about his mental health, he spends the day with his nieces and sees the most beautiful girl. Once he sees Lanie, he is determined to be with her. Complications arise but with love on their side, surely nothing will stand in their way?

If you aren’t a fan of love, smitten-at-first-sight, Elisa Leigh would not be your cup of tea. Me, however, ate this up like creme brulee! Ms Leigh creates a total wish fulfillment fantasy that any woman who ever hasn’t felt good enough, pretty enough can relate to. These two are absolutely adorable together and I devoured Sweet Curves in one sitting. I adore Ms Leigh and I am devouring her books as fast as possible. 5 stars for Lanie and Wyatt!

What an awesome start to a series of standalone romances about four women finding their forever loves. This is exactly what I needed on my vacation.

Lanie is a young women who finds herself the new owner of an ice cream shop, her grandmothers legacy. She works hard at her shop and spends time with her best friends, Stella, Fancy and Avery. One evening while working, Lanie sees the most handsome man on the plant, Wyatt and love abounds. I will leave the romance for the reader to discover, but let me say, it is so worth it!

It is love at first sight, sweetness galore, and utter perfection. I loved this story and was so excited to read it on vacation. It had me hoping for my own vacation love moment. I cannot wait for the rest of this series. I highly recommend it! I received an ARC and I am leaving an honest review.

This book was the love story between Lanie and Wyatt. Lanie is always trying to please her over critical and often rude family. Enter Wyatt a man who falls heads over heels with her for who she is.

Both have some demons to overcome but together they live out a HEA that is super sweet. I absolutely loved this one!
