Holy wow. This book was awesome! I was completely taken with Dylan and Reese and their courtship/fling/whatever the hell you wanna call it haha.
I loved watching them skirt around their true feelings for each other, whilst getting to know each other at the same time. Reese is damned swoon-worthy and sexy as sin. The sex scenes in this were hot hot hot!
The secondary characters in this were fantastic as well and made me giggle with laughter from their antics.
The only issue I had was sometimes Dylan would jump to conclusions and not allow a chance for explanation, and also a little over-reaction that kept occuring from her physically.
Otherwise I completely loved this book and was determined to speed through it. I really look forward to reading the next one!
Hot and sweet as f*ck
This is a ride you can’t get off, I was hooked from the first words.
* Good storyline that keeps me intrigued all the way.
* Characters I fell in love with from the first moment, their feisty, sweet, hot, caring and fun.
*The chemistry between Dylan and Reese is sizzling from the first connection, one of the best love scenes in the book
* Dialogues is witty and makes the story even better.
* Performance is excellent, it’s not often I can say that when a women is the only narrator, but this narrator has mastered the male voice without sounding terrible.
Good pronunciation and voice volume is at a level that pleasant so I have no need to regulate the sound.
This review is for a audio book!
5 amazing stars
Wow! I loved this book. J. Daniels continue to blow my mind with her excellent stories and characters. She never disappoints and gives you all the things you love in a romance novel. I can’t get enough and she leaves me satisfied with the story and yet begging fore more.
Dylan is such an awesome main character. That girl has a mouthpiece on her and I laughed so hard at all the crazy things that came out of her mouth. She was a very likable character. I loved that she had her ow business running her bakery and was very mature. She and Reese together were perfect. Reese Carroll is one hot tottie. He is your ideal book boyfriend. Gosh him and Dylan together were like a damn inferno. I loved them slowly falling in love while trying to keep their relationship casual. I also loved all the other characters in this book. Joey was one of my faves because he was so ridiculous and funny and Juls was a great female characters and best friend to Dylan. There is plenty of romance, humor, and drama to fall in love with this book.
My only issue with this book was that I could not figure out what Dylan’s issue was with trying not to have feelings for Reese. I first thought that maybe it was because of her ex Justin or the fact that Reese is a player. But neither of those reasons were indicated very clearly until get towards the end. I don’t think it was very valid of her to feel that way when Reese never expressed wanted to be casual and be sex buddies.
I really loved this book. I never wanted it to end. This book made me laugh, my cheeks turned beat read at moments, and my heart pounded non-stop for this couple. I love Dylan and Reese.
Reese has ruined me for men, seriously. I was rereading/skimming this book last night in preparation to read Sweet Possession this weekend, and I forgot for a moment how freaking awesome Reese really is.
I’m overwhelmed again and will have to come back to give the book the justice it deserves.
***2/22/16 Popped my Audible cherry with this book, finished it tonight. It was so good, I really enjoyed the narrator. And Reese, oh that man is so fine…he’s pretty much perfection. Dylan is awesome, except when she wasn’t for that brief period of time. The friendship between Dylan, Joey, and Jules is so wonderful, I think everyone would love to have friends like them! Ahhh, just love this book!
