Well Jack, Jack Jack!! He so blew it this time. Instead of giving folks a little heads up we get to Jack’s home and while a warm and loving welcome from the family and town not every citizen is glad to see Jack, well his company. But that’s not all. While there isn’t the crazy stuff going on like the other 3 kingdoms, there is plenty to enjoy. The excitement and yes the hilarity of the group continues as do their escapades. While I never though I would enjoy a reverse harem book I am really into this series. I can only imagine it’s about to get real.
Love these two authors and combined they are off the chart. A great solid read with characters you can’t help but enjoy.
It could use some help from them “let’s get real” department. Yeah, I know it’s about dragons. That’s not what part that needs some working. I still give it 4 stars because It’s a good book and premise. I’d like to see what the next book will bring in store for our little travelers.
Audiobook version:
Through the series we have been growing to know the characters more and more. Each seems to have their own set of issues. This installment comes with more of the same plus more danger and more surprises. I feel like the characters are still being tentative with each other. I am eager for the next phase of their relationship.
The narration is fabulous. The book is great but the narration elevates it and truly bring the characters to life. It would be hard to picture it with another narrator. Melissa does a wonderful job- I love it!
After finding out Maya’s reason for being back in Waesigar has come to fruition, the foursome needs to deal with lies by omission, a cruel mother imprisioning her own husband in quest of power inciting a civil war, and a stilted lover who wants nothing more than to hurt Maya and get her lover back. The groups comes out more united than ever, and Maya finds her pregnancy brings her more powers than just being a breeding dragon.

Maya and her dragons really know how to rile people up. This was great book with a lot of adventure with each page. Maya and her dragons have faced many foes, and continue to do so in this book. With each book you see Maya become a stronger and more complex character. This was great and can’t wait to read the next.

This series is awesome. Maya, Jack, Firestar and Raiden are headed north to Jack’s family’s home. I love Jack’s uncle. Maya still has a lot of maturing to go, in my book. She still throws tantrums when she doesn’t get her way and puts herself in danger without thought. I loved when she began channeling the baby’s powers. I was also disappointed with Jack and his secrets. I absolutely loved how the guys were adapting to each other. It was very exciting and full of fun. I volunteered to read an advanced reader copy and am under no obligation to leave this review.
Just so entertaining, it was hard to put down since the writing is great with enough steam to keep you interested while it come to life in the end as they sort out their challenges in their relationship.
Her dragons and her were forced to leave their kingdom when his mother took the throne. They will fight to get it back, but they will need help so they go to the North to find it. To get that help they need to prove themselves. Will they do that? See how they get on

Finally they have a home base with Lord Fafnir where they don’t feel like they have to watch their backs, well mainly don’t have to until Jack’s past makes herself know. I loved seeing the guys being able to show off their skills during the games as well as how they can still fail even with the extra powers they have, Maya on the other had flipped between being they level headed and caring as well as stupid making decision that everyone but her think is putting her in danger cause you know she is pregnant with the heir for her farther …. no pressure at all! This book takes you through loads of different emotions from anger, sadness, worry, frustration and of course some very steamy times and all of this is building up to the next book which should bring everything to ahead and find out if they are on the winning or losing side of the fight.

Absolutely amazing! I definitely have to add Swallowing Fire to one of my favorite books by Eden Bedford & J.A. Cipriano!
I love how the characters continue to grow and the interaction between Maya and her men. Having to seek help from the Ice Dragon Clan and her ex’s uncle. They will have to prove that they are worth it. This book is full of danger, twist and turns drama, and intrigue. A definite must read! I can’t wait to see what comes next!

Sexy and action packed

With Maya Rose now being a full dragon she now feels like she can keep up with her three men. They are all flying as dragons on their way north to Jack’s home. It is extremely cold and Maya with her new wings feels that cold to her core and she is so tired. So Raiden, Jack and Firestar see what it’s doing to Maya and they decide to take a rest. They build a fire for her after the clear a patch of snow away for them all. Jack is the nephew of Lord Fafnir and Lady Ingrid. When they reach the village they see how quaint it is and not ostentatious like the other three palaces of Maya, Firestar and Raiden come from. Because of the extreme cold things aren’t easy to come by so that is why everything is condensed as far as housing. Jack’s people are all use to the cold, but at the manor of his uncles they’re are furs along all the walls to keep it warmer in the house for guests. After they arrive they start discussing how it all looked at Raiden’s home when his twin brothers finally show up beaten almost to death. After the healer repairs them they start talking. Raiden’s mother and her lover took over the palace. Put his father the King in the dungeon. When Raijin and Fujin were leaving the palace to follow Raiden they came upon an army with 1000 soldiers. They were all dragons and they caught the boys and beat them, but they managed to escape. They started talking about how to get their father out of the dungeon and Lord Fafnir says they need an army too and the Winter games will get them that army. So much happens still and so many surprises too. I liked this book just as much as the other two and can’t wait to read the next in this series.

I love it when a book in a series continues exactly where the last book left off. Believe me I’ve read a few that when you open the 2nd or 3rd book your are questioning whether you missed a book or are even reading the same series. This author’s writing flows smoothly from book to book continuing Maya and her dragons story. In this book we find out Maya’s really pregnant this time and we get to find out more about Jack. Looking forward to reading this final book in this series and hopefully getting to read a HEA for Maya.
I love this series. This was another great book in the Starcrossed Dragons Series. We learned a lot about Jack and it explained many of the reasons why certain things happened it previous books. I can’t not wait to see where things go from here.
Maya & her men travel to Jack’s home in the North. We find out about Jack’s family & his past. Maya endures more tests & even meets a seer but the future she’s told leaves Maya wishing for a simpler life.

nothing like mommy dearest trying to reign – and raining down slaughter on her family.
happily Maya has multiple mates – but still awful for Raiden and his brothers. Not to mention the kingdom their father previously ruled.
Can they find the allies they seek in the icy North? Will they find any brother of Raiden yet alive, or did they make the ultimate sacrifice to save him, his mates and their kingdom?
Steamy harem action and lots of supernatural firepower – in many cases literally!

Maya and her mates seek refuge in the North Kingdom, Jack’s home. They are in desperate need of an army and allies to go up against Raiden’s mother who is in command of the Eastern Kingdom with an army of more than a thousand. And the uncertainty of being pregnant is now a sure thing. Then Jack’s ex shows up with no intention of giving up Jack or the love she bears him. What a tangled web! I love where the story is going and can hardly wait for the next book.

I believe this may have been the best in the series so far. In this installment, Maya and her “mates” see how a true king/kingdom should be. While one of their “goals” may have been achieved, Maya’s adjustment to that goal may take a while. When you add in overly protective mates and a jealous ex-lover, Maya is about to “snap”. Will she survive it all? What about the mysterious Seer? How will the future she sees affect Maya and her men? I can’t wait to see what happens next…

I am really enjoying this series. This is the third book in the Star-Crossed Dragons Series. The adventure keeps getting better, with prognostications of the future that hint at even more sexy fun to come. This book continues to include sexy times juxtaposed with danger, drama, and communication faux pas. Mia’s men are still learning what she needs and how to give it to her. She often finds their protectiveness over-bearing and her resulting rebelliousness sometimes leads her into trouble. She still has a little insecurity and is developing a possessive/jealous streak regarding her men. She sometimes acts like a spoiled princess instead of a grown woman, and I have not quite seen a woman capable of leading her nation or the combined nations yet. That said, I would read this series for the humorous interactions of the guys alone.^^

This while having a slower pace than the previous two books in the series, this contain more adventure and excitement.
The book has added yet another few factors to make the story more interesting including an ex, a seer and the Winter Games.
With the new developments in Maya’s well written story, I cannot wait to see what is next.
