♥♥A modern-day Cinderella story / Billionaire Romance ♥♥★Sutton- I know for a fact that nothing in this life comes free. When you live in a rundown trailer on the wrong side of town. You know a thing or two about hunger, fear, and despair. Ever since Mama passed away, I have gotten along just fine. I go to work, keep my head down, and do my best to stay out of trouble. But he always seems to find … best to stay out of trouble.
But he always seems to find me… trouble, that is.
When Mr. Hot-shot New York turned up telling me that I had inherited a bunch of money, I laughed in his face. I knew down to my toes that something had to be wrong. Nobody, nowhere, no-how had ever gone out of their way to leave me so much as a dime. This was far too ‘happily ever after’ for my liking.
I just wished that he wasn’t so insistent…
-or clearly the best looking man I’d ever seen.
-or smelled so darn good.
– or easily my greatest mistake waiting to happen.
★Mark-
I was groomed to take over the boss’s company. I’ve worked, no slaved, for years making Sutton Industries the most lucrative, sought after, and most coveted fortune five hundred company in New York.
Then out of nowhere, the old man tells me on his death bed–no less, that he has a long lost daughter. Not only was I tasked with finding the girl, I was also expected to hand over half the company. My damn company!
Well, I found her. Living in the middle of Hillbilly Hell, working as a waitress, and living in a single wide. The sharks on Wall-street would eat this chick for breakfast. How was I supposed to bring this girl up to task when she didn’t even own a pair of shoes that didn’t once belong to somebody else?
This girl is trouble. Walking away would be the sane thing to do. But there is something vulnerable about her. I can’t put my finger on it. Won’t put my finger on her, no matter how badly I am itching to touch her.
I hated being the nice guy. It wasn’t in my DNA.
Sutton’s CEO is the first book in the Otterville Falls Series. This story contains a happily for now as well as glimpse of what happens in the next installment.

If you’ve read any of S. Cinders books, then you come to the table expecting a sassy female heroine with a bit of vulnerability, a bit of backbone, a bit of temper, a whole lot of attitude and a HUGE heart and Sutton is by no means a disappointment. She is everything I just knew I would be given. Bless her heart, she’s grown up on “the wrong side of the tracks” where the preacher refers to her mama as a bicycle every time he sees her. Not only that, but she is blamed for every sin her mama supposedly committed, and the list is long. Then out of the blue the best looking man she’s ever seen comes to the bar she works at to tell her about her daddy being rich and leaving her an inheritance. Really? She no longer believes in happily ever afters, she’s seen the writing on the wall. Besides, this Mark person is grumpy! This story will have you entertained and engrossed. S. Cinders has brought a completely new twist to an old Cinderella story. One with all the emotions and drama of a small town, including the old women who shock so easy, and a murder along the way. This has a happy for now ending but with it being the first book in the “Otterville Falls” series, I’m sure we’ll hear more about them and I, for one, can’t wait.
I loved this book! This book features Mark, who has been groomed to be the CEO and heir apparent of Sutton Industries, and Sutton, a poor waitress with an unknown billionaire father. Based upon his death bed request, Mark is tasked with finding his boss’s illegitimate daughter who is to inherit half of Sutton Industries. He meets with Sutton with the intention of buying her half of the business, but events change his plans. I highly recommend this well written book with its great characters and unusual plot which includes fun banter, unexpected twists, suspense, and steamy romance.

First time reader of Ms Cinders, I’ll definitely be reading the rest of this series and looking further into her library. This book leaves you feeling good and I struggled to put it down and go to work. Some of the quirkiest characters can be found within the pages of Sutton’s CEO. I found myself laughing out loud, a tear rolled down my cheek as I read this story. Fell in love with a heroine who was genuine, kind, a good friend, but she was sassy and fierce at the same time.
Sutton was the daughter of a crack whore, living in a trailer park. Somehow she didn’t let any of this jade her inner beauty, she carried on with the life she’d been dealt. She was guilty and tarnished by association, the town folk treated her with disdain. Thankfully she had a few people she could still count on. Mr Williams strolled into her life and turned it upside down. With news of a father she had never met, she travelled to the city with Mr Williams. Sutton had zero tolerance for bullsh#t, took time to stop and talk to people…she was a breath of fresh air.
Mr Williams was the newly appointed CEO of Sutton Enterprises. One of his first tasks was to bring the daughter his boss had just located to the city and show her the ropes. He was appalled at the way people look down at her and how they spoke to her. His privileged life was jaded by his family, thankfully he’d been given opportunities and had met Mr Sutton. Being witness to Sutton blossoming in the corporate environment was more than he could of hoped for. She had an ease about her, that made people trust and believe her without any effort. Sutton was his little piece of sunshine, in what had been a shadowed existence.
Sutton’s CEO is a sweet story with well written character that have a crackling fire between them.
Sutton was born on the wrong side of the tracks was left a company she did not know about, Mark is to help Sutton learn the business she has inherited. With her world turned upside down, Mark is sweet and honest and does right by her.
This is a fun ready that will warm your heart while leave you hanging.

So we meet Sutton who is waitressing in a bar and being treated like crap. She has never had an easy life, her mother was in alcohol and drugs and the responsibility fell on Sutton to be able to survive. Now Sutton is all alone since her mom passed away and Gabriel whom she thought she knew since she has known him all his life is not who he thoughts he was, luckily for her that Mark Williams comes to inform her that she has inherited some money but she would have to come and learn the business she now owns and put some time and learn about it, she can get it all or some, her decision.. And then we begin.

Another good offering from S Cinders. The characters are complex and interesting. Sutton’s story is somewhat familiar but the way she has responded to it is different. Max was a little surprising to me in a very good way. There is some humor and violence and lots of sex. The ending is a happy for now with the promise of more. I am glad I got to read this and am looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

This book 1 in the Otterville Falls Novel / Billionaire Romance is a well-written, small town girl big city boy, office romance story with many twists. These characters a believably well crafted with good chemistry. The characters feel real and are believable in their reactions and interactions. I liked the story and you will not be disappointed if you buy and read.

Hilarious! It’s great when the characters make the story. I had to stifle my laughter. Sutton, grew up with massive abuse, but she chose to live a life of generosity and kindness and no bitterness. Life’s challenges has given her a no nonsense common sense approach that helps her in the business world. Mark Williams is a rigid stuck up business man who had an equally childhood. This was a good story that unexpectedly is not just a love story. There are a few intriguing plot twists that while serious, lead to absolute hilarity. Can Sutton handle being a billionaire? Will having money change her? Can Mark let the business man go and just have some fun? Will they be able to open their eyes and accept the emotional good fortunes that befall both of them? Good story. Hilarious. Otterville Falls for being such a small community, has a lot going on! I received an ARC from Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Sutton grew up on the wrong side of the tracks in Otterville Falls with a drug/alcohol addicted mother who finally passes away. Then one night at the bar where she works Mark shows up telling her she has inherited a company from her wealthy father but she will have to go to New York with him so he can train her for the job. This book has a little of everything from steamy romance to suspense and some witty characters.
This is book two of the Otterville Falls Series. The mystery and danger only deepen in book two of this series. Most of the mystery swirls around Sutton and no one knows who is being truthful and who the murderer is. Mark and Sutton both had terrible parental role models, but they fall for each other and help each other become better people. There are still cliffhangers at the end of this book, but a really good read.

This is like a Cinderella modern story but with a twist as it’s not all it seems. Sutton gets the best news when she discovers she has an inheritance. Mark is trying to be the good guy and he is sweet. Their story is not filled with too much angst but it’s more about the growth and how Sutton not only discovers this whole new world, but also develops the kinds of relationship she always wished for.

I have to admit it took me a bit to get into the read, but once I did, yep, good read!
Sassy, sexy, and hot!
Great storyline and character development made this book a hot and enjoyable read!
Extremely entertaining, captivating and interesting sexy read. I could not put it down. Wonderfully written with strong, intriguing characters. I want to read more from this author.

This is the first book I’ve read by this author, I found it to be entertaining, a bit humorous and also emotional at parts. Sutton and her CEO, Mark have a strange beginning when he comes to her strange little town to explain about her father and the company…. Sutton’s world as she knows it ia turned upside down. I liked Sutton as a character, she’s a sassy smartmouthed woman. Mark is standoffish but as Sutton worms her way into his heart he softens and becomes incredibly likable.
Overall an entertaining way to pass the afternoon.
Entertaining 4 ½ stars – Normally, I would have been annoyed by Sutton’s doormat behavior but the way the author presented Sutton’s personality as kind-hearted, smart, sassy, humble, loving and as a fighter and survivor made it palatable. Mark is a decent billionaire which was surprising. His character didn’t dwell on denial of feelings. It’s a very entertaining story with a bit of mystery. It has good supporting characters, Candice and Knox, who I would like to read about in their own book. The folks of Otterville Falls are amusing. There’s steamy sex and tingly romance. The plot is simple but the author’s writing style keeps you interested. I would very much like to read book 2! [I received an advanced copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.]
Excellent characters and excellent story from the beginning to the end.
4,5
The story is quite unpredictable due to the turn of events towards the end of the story. The story is very well written, exciting hot and once started, I could not put the book down because I did not expect at all the more dramatic turning point in the events of the end of the story around the heroine.
The summary indicates a somewhat Cinderella-like story, but I find that it is rather “The ugly duckling” or the transformation of a caterpillar into a butterfly, because it is this kind of evolution that we discover for the heroine Sutton, who lives hidden in a pretty shabby small town and spreads her wings when she leaves it.
Sutton lives in a trailer in a lost city, with a job in which she is not appreciated and people who permanently devalue her or take advantage of her generosity because her mother was the prostitute of the city. But when Mark comes to her, he reveals to her who his father was and that she is the heir to a huge fortune that she can inherit if she comes with him. Sutton discovers another life, but above all she opens up, builds real friendships and she gets closer and closer to Mark. But the small town from which she came out, catches up with her in an unforeseen way, again upsetting her life.
I did not know this author and I really liked her style.

This book started out a bit slow. I started enjoying the characters and storyline when it began a downhill decline. I think the goal was for the characters in Otterville Falls to be eccentric, but they were just nasty weird. I hate how Sutton excused their behavior. I really enjoyed Mark and Sutton’s interaction in the middle of the book. This book is definitely not within the realm of believable though. Candice was a great character! She added positively to the story.

Wow, what an amazing beginning to a new series! This book was my first read by S. Cinders and let me just say that it went way beyond what I was expecting to read. From the sassy and witty but also vulnerable Sutton to the no nonsense and often cynical Mark, the fireworks were going off from the first chapter and I couldn’t get enough. There were laugh out loud moments, fan yourself hot moments and even moments were you tear up and need a second to regroup. This story was such a wild ride and I can’t wait to go again in book two!!
