“What an incredible book! Survival of the Richest has everything — Skye Warren’s beautiful writing, a sexy, compelling story; intricate characters, and a provocative love triangle that will captivate you until the very end.” ~ New York Times bestselling author Nina Lane
My story starts with a plunge into the cold water of Manhattan’s harbor.
A strong hand hauls me back onto the deck of the luxury yacht. Christopher was supposed to be my enemy. Instead he protects me with fierce determination.
That should have been my happily ever after, but then Sutton appeared–ruthless and seductive. He doesn’t care that my heart belongs to someone else, because he’s determined to win. No matter the cost.
It’s an impossible choice, but I can’t have them both.

My story starts with a plunge into the cold water of Manhattan’s harbor. A strong hand hauls me back onto the deck of the luxury yacht. Christopher was supposed to be my enemy, the son of my father’s latest wife. Instead he protects me with fierce determination when I need him most. I really enjoyed this book although the bizarre relationship between the lead 3 characters together with the equally bizarre chaotic thoughts of Harper had my brain in a tangle. In saying that I was totally addicted to the story line and the sex was so hot it burnt a hole in the pages.
Survival of the Richest is book one in the Trust Fund Duet and I was sucked into this story line that was chock full of drama and an engaging story line and I was continually wondering where the story was going to go.
Harper is at the mercy of Christopher, who manages her trust fund at the wish of her father who passed away. Although she is extremely wealthy, the money can’t actually be accessed until a certain age and none of it can be used for her mother, who she wants to help take care of, and who at one point gets sick and needs care. Prior to this development, Harper had feelings for Christopher, and maybe still does despite his new role in her life. When she hunts him down looking for his help, she meets his business parter Sutton, which complicates things a little more because they also hit it off, and now Harper seems to have feelings for both Christopher and Sutton which makes things both tricky and hot….
I absolutely loved Skye Warren’s North Security Trilogy so I was really excited to dive into this duet. It was definitely different than the trilogy I had read, and while I am not really a fan of love triangles, I did find this story interesting and I am excited to start book two and see where the journey takes Harper, Christopher and Sutton.
This book had me interested all the way through. The only thing that I didn’t like that it had was a cliff hanger. I really want to know which one she picked. Well, I guess I have to read the next book in the series. Good read!!!
Imagine having two handsome billionaires fighting over you. That is the situation Harper is in. In a way Christopher is taboo. Even though they are not blood related, it still seemed taboo to me. But Christopher and Harper’s feelings are deeper than a sibling love. Sutton will stop at nothing to win Harper over. This love triangle is intense and so fun to follow. I loved all the different dynamics of these three. This story had me hooked from the first chapter.
Erin Mallon is an amazing narrator. Ms. Mallon brings this story to life. Ms. Mallon keeps all the characters voices distinct and easy to follow. Her male voices are smooth and perfect for the characters as I imagined them. Ms. Mallon’s narration enhanced this story. I look forward to hearing more from Ms. Mallon.
This is Book 1 of the Trust Fund Duet.
This is the story of Christoper & Harper, but there is also Sutton, Christopher’s business partner. Sort of triangle, but is it a love triangle? Harper’s mind is always in confusion, not only about Christopher and Sutton, but about everything. Does she love Christopher? Can Sutton make her forget about him? Only time will tell. She is now working for them on a project as part of deal with Christopher. Will it come to fruition? Only time will tell. She is torn between two men. She realizes why the two of them pursued her, and she is not happy about it. How will it end? It’s a good cliffhanger, and I’m looking forward to the next book to find out.
This book was so good! I devoured it in one afternoon. This book had so much that kept me interested, from the triangle, the angst, the love and passion, and the characters. Just so much more then I thought it would have. It had all the feels. I’m having trouble writing exactly what this book deserves because it’s that amazing! I highly recommend this book!

A couple chapters into SURVIVAL OF THE RICHTEST with its prolonged pre-released epilogue and I was already completely captivated by the newest tale written by the amazing Skye Warren.
There is a reason she belongs to my favorite authors. Her stories and characters have depth – and the ability to shock me time and again. Her books always do that to me, keeping me intrigued and on my toes the entire read through. Her heroes, oftentimes so complex and complicated, so effed-up to downright being a jerk, their actions so questionable to some extent that one should not like or, worse, fall for them as well.
And with Christopher and Sutton we even get two of these specimen – gasp! Yeah, I absolute loved Ms. Warren’s innovative, unique spin on a love triangle story! I have to say, it threw me for a loop when Sutton was added, because as I usually do with this author’s books, I went in totally blind.
But back to our (anti-?)heroes…
A man of her past and a man of the present, both wanting to have Harper’s future… Both demanding. Both controlling. Both a total enigma and sex on two legs. Both not safe to trust. Who is playing games? Who is speaking the truth…? I was switching sides faster than the pages, always confused, always looking for that hidden meaning…
Christopher is open about his jerk-y moves, whereas Sutton is subtler about it, having you run right into his trap. Always.
And Harper, spoiled little rich girl that she is, – caught in their crossfire. Fighting with her own devices and not sugarcoating her feelings toward anything…
And then, of course, that cliffhanger. It was to be expected, but still – gahh!
I loved diving into Ms. Warren’s web of lies, intrigue and angst, to feel the sexual tension – and tension in general – grow, as my keeping wondering what the eff would happen next… That’s the amazing thing about this woman’s books: They’re all but predictable. And that there are tiny glimpses of her previous couples is just the icing on the cake.
Bring on the next instalment!
This was the first book I have read from Skye Warren. I tried to like this book but I just couldn’t get into it. Survival of the Richest was another book in the Happily Ever After Collection. At first, I really enjoyed it, I liked Harper and Christopher’s relationship. For me it got weird when Sutton was introduced. I am all for falling for another man, but when all 3 of them were together it was awkward. Maybe I am just not a fan of multiple partners…
I am glad I finished it; I honestly didn’t hate it, I just didn’t love it. I am on the fence about reading the second book. I hate leaving series/duets unfinished but I just don’t know…
This was my first book by Skye Warren and I have to say I am hooked. The writing was beautiful story kept me absorbed until the end. Erin Mallon did a beautiful job narrating.

So disappointed in the entire story which made absolutely no sense
Harpers parents are divorced, It’s during spring breaks while visiting her father, shes always is introduced to the new steps. She knows not to get too close since she knew they wouldn’t be around very long. At the age of 15, on her father’s yacht, she meets Christopher, the son of wife #8. On a late night stroll, while smoking a joint, Harper falls into the water, and is saved by Christopher. She has a crush on him. Even after their parents divorce , Harper stays in contact with Christopher . She follows her artistic passion and paints. At the age of 18, She had a showing of her works at art gallery for charity. Her parents and Christopher are there . While at the gallery, her father passed away. At the reading of the will . His fortune was left to his daughter,Harper, with Christopher as the executor. The stipulation is, she can’t touch her trust until the age of 25.
This become a love hate relationship. between them. She storms into Christopher’s office to argue the refusal of payment for her moms medical bill for cancer. Only to find his Business partner ,Sutton, sitting there. His southern gentlemanly charm evokes emotions she never felt before. A love triangle is formed. Is Christopher there for her or his greed? what exactly is Sutton’s intentions, is this a game for him, a contest ?
Harper is left with the feeling feeling of love, life loss, jealousy, rejection and confusion.
Just like any story from Sky Warren, many twists, emotions , jealousy , love, steamy sex and the unexpected.
Erin Mallon is a wonderful narrator She brings the characters to life, gives their own personality and emotions. #audiobookobsessionreview
There’s nothing I love more than a bit of angst. I love the push and the pull, the love and the hate, the need and the desire. I love it.
Skye Warren writes it.
And she writes it oh so well.
Christopher and Sutton and Harper will drag you in and hold you close and you won’t want it to end.
It’s intense.
It’s fulfilling.
It’s lustful.
It’s Survival.

Love and money are always a struggle when put together as Harper learns early on in life and will learn in many other ways through this book. There is a triangle of feeling with these three and yet they all don’t open up enough to be honest as to what they want or need. I loved listening to this story and the next will be just as amazing I’m sure!
As someone whose tastes usually veer more in the rom-com or dramedy direction, I didn’t know how I would feel reading about rich kids doing angsty, dramatic rich kid things, but this book is so much more than that, and I found myself totally sucked in right from the start. The heroine is unique, engaging, and easy to root for while still feeling complex and real. The story’s world is exceptionally well-developed, and even though it’s the type of world few people have experienced firsthand, it’s convincing enough to pull any reader in give them the chance to relate to the people who inhabit it. The romance itself is off the charts steamy, and I truly admired how well the author built up tension and desire with the kind of subtlety that leaves the reader hooked and wanting more. A definite must-read if you’d like to get lost in a world of power struggles and intrigue that will have you flipping those pages fast!
Harper St. Claire, Park Avenue princess, painter/artist extraordinaire, a woman of substance, a struggling heiress.
Christopher Bardot, cherished stepbrother, future billionaire, loyal trust-fund executioner, life saver, hesitant lover
Sutton Mayfair, delectable bachelor, fierce partner-in-crime, from rags to riches, to polygamous heartbreaker
You all need to meet them to understand them. You need to understand them to choose which one survives and which one to love. Choices.. Harper’s got two choices. But she could never reach a decision. Until she lost both of them.
Literally torn between two lovers, I’m feeling like a fool after reading this book. My first Skye Warren novel and it’s pure guilty pleasure. So sorry it took me exactly a year to start reading this. But it’s definitely worth it. Happy book birthday Christopher Bardot, Sutton Mayfair and Harper St. Claire. These characters are amazing. I couldn’t handle them three.. I’d be out of my mind just like Harper. If only I could have them both.
Skye Warren’s been known for her dark romances and titillating novels. I’d consider myself a virgin when it comes to her books, and now I’m an addict. I am clamoring for more hard-hitting stories from her, Survival of the Richest is the trigger that I need to satisfy my addiction. Can’t wait to read Warren again, soon!

Wow! This book was more than I thought it would be. When it released, I was hearing nothing but amazing things about this duet. So when I saw the audiobooks being released, I knew I needed to listen to them! Man… Plus, a menage!? YES PLEASE! I have been DYING to read a menage for a while now but just haven’t had the chance. Now I need more!
I can’t wait to read the next one! This was amazing! The narrator was fantastic! I love her narrations! I will continue to listen to anything she narrates!
4.5 Stars
The story was so good that captivates me right from the start. The unexpected love triangle kept me glued to every scene. I loved the way the story unfolded. I’ve laughed, cried, swooned, and even became frustrated at times but so worth it. Can’t wait to start The Evolution of Man to see what will happen to Harper, Christopher and Sutton’s story. Survival of the Richest is definitely worth reading!
Audiobook version:
Wow!! This book….. It was awesome! Sky effortlessly built this word and sucked me in from the very beginning. The characters are amazing. They are flawed and damaged but you can’t help but connect and love them. She painted this world so vividly. I had a very hard time putting this book down with all honestly. It wasn’t about hearts and flowers but more about an emotional train wreck I couldn’t turn away from. I felt so invested and literally sat on the edge of my seat just riding it out with them. It was fantastic. I was soo glad I was able to immediately jump into book 2 or i would have been crying.
Erin Mallon gave an amazing performance. I have said it before and I will say it again. She elevates any book to greatness. This book started out great on it’s own so you can only imagine what it was like when Erin got her hands on it. Pure perfection. I will be raving about this book series for some time to come.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

This story was intense and very emotional, but also confusing…… and it’s a cliffhanger so hang on!!!
I’m diving in to the next one.
Good storyline
Great characters that’s developed in to complex personalities. The only thing I feel lacking is the males POV, but this author is a master writer so it’s not a very strong feeling.
No unnecessary descriptions of surroundings
Surprising love scenes that was steaming hot.
I recommend this series even if it’s a cliffhanger…
Narrator:
Good and clear pronunciation and read with feelings.
At times the squeaky noise she’s making at times is a little annoying but all in all it’s very good.
