Wrongly imprisoned whistle-blower Rachel Pierce would rather take her chances with her court appeal than accept her place as the first Interstellar Bride destined for the Colony. She’s stubborn and determined to seek justice—and her freedom—on Earth…but her mates are not willing to risk her life or her future on a system they believe to be both primitive and corrupt.Maxim of Prillon Prime … Prime fought ten long years in the Hive wars. Captured and tortured with his second, Ryston, they escaped only to be rejected by their own people and condemned to life on the Colony with the other “contaminated” cyborg warriors. As leader of Sector 3, it’s Maxim’s duty to set an example for his warriors and summon a bride. When she refuses transport, he can’t allow her rejection to demoralize an entire planet of battle hardened but jaded warriors. Maxim and Ryston transport to Earth where they decide she’s theirs and a maximum security human prison will not keep them apart.
Getting Rachel to the Colony is only the first challenge they will face. Convincing their beautiful mate to surrender to not one, but two dominant warriors is another. Even if they can win her love, a new evil is rising on the Colony and someone close to Maxim will be its first victim. Maxim will be its second, unless Rachel’s love and relentless pursuit of the truth proves strong enough to save him.

As always Grace takes us for a ride and brings us home fulfilled and joyful.
I really enjoyed this book and hope to read the next one soon!
A great story and a great series
First book in a series & this sets up a great world to lose yourself in. Yes, there are a lot of sci-fi romance books out there but this one stood out to me because of the characters & what they had been through. There is a wonderful backstory to the premise to this series & it brings the opportunity for such a wonderful future for the characters. This book was a standalone read – you did get a very satisfying HEA, but because of the series arc there are ongoing storylines that may annoy readers that like everything nice & tidy at the end of a book. If anything, there were a little too many characters for me to really keep straight, but overall I really enjoyed it.
As always, the author writes very steamy sex scenes. The plot was rather simple, enough to give the characters something to do, but the characters don’t have a lot of depth in terms of the relationship between them. They are highly attracted on a fated mates level and they admire each other’s character. Their character flaws don’t really affect the plot and there didn’t appear to be any emotional hurdles—and only a few minor physical ones—to overcome. I truly enjoyed the world building and the background of each character, but I failed to see any growth, other than the characters having to acclimate to a new relationship and a new world. I like the concept of the colony and would be interested in reading more. I just would like to see more obstacles for the couple to overcome.
I received a copy from the author and I voluntarily reviewed this book.
I totally love this series. Warriors from a coalition of planets that are fighting an alien race (the Hive) that wants to take control of everything (like the Borg from Star Trek and the Replicators from Stargate SG-1) and hoping to find their mates. This book is about the veterans of that war that are banished from their home planets due to their being “contaminated” by Hive technology. Maxim and Ryston are perfect foils for each other. Maxim is the quiet, authoritative, and super in control Governor and Ryston is the stereotypical hot-shot fighter pilot. Rachel has a strong moral center and is fighting to stop the people that set her up form hurting any more people. The author once again reminds us of the crazy S-Gen technology that the Prillon use (I am not sure if I think it is way cool or totally screwed up). I believe this is one of the better stories of the series (they are all very good but everyone has their favorites and mine are the Atlans). The Colony and its inhabitants have gotten a fantastic launch story and I can’t wait to see the journey the author takes our favorite veterans on.
The first book in a new series for the Interstellar Brides: The Colony . Rachel is the first bride for The Colony and get mated to Maxin and Ryston. It can be read as a standalone, but you will get a better experience if you have read the other books.
It is a wonderful story of a very reluctant Rachel and her relationship with her mates, who after being treated as outcasts for years finally find happiness. Rachel is very strong and fights for what is right and does everything she can to help others. There is a lot of emotion going on and some great action and suspense.
Was just ok.
Surrender to the Cyborgs is Book 1 of the Interstellar Brides: The Colony Series is a spin off from Interstellar Brides Series. It can be a little confusing with all the “Interstellar Brides” Books.
There is a whole lot of HOT going on in Surrender to the Cyborgs!
This is a ménage romance and is Rachel Pierce, Maxim & Ryston’s story. Maxim & Ryston are both cyborg warriors. Maxim is the leader of the Colony that they have been condemned to. Since they are now contaminated after being captured & tortured. Rachel signed up to be an interstellar bride after being wrongly imprisoned whistle-blower. Maxim is to be Rachel’s mate and Ryston is Maxim’s BFF and his second in command. They are Rachel’s chosen mates.
I loved this story. Who knew I would love these sexy cyborg hunks but, I do!!!
I give Surrender to the Cyborg’s 4 stars.
I wish I had seen this earlier it might have helped with my confusion about these Series.

Love this series
Love this book! The story line is good to
Grace Goodwin is a terrific writer and her Interstellar Bride series is addictive to read. I recommend it if you like great paranormal romance.
I liked this book a lot, for many reasons. The characters are engaging, the sex scenes are steamy and the story is poingant. I like that issues our veterans are dealing with are addressed. I look forward to more in the series.
It was a great continuation of the series. O thouroughly enjoyed this book as well as the series as a whole.
I didn’t know it was B&D kinda book. Not my thing.
Loved it and awaiting more in this series.
I really liked that not only was there a steamy romance but an action section as well. Really kept me connected.
Love it! Will definitely be reading the rest of this series!
This is a fun and hot universe Goodwin has created…can’t wait to read the rest in the series!
