Who knew planning a wedding could be so hard?
He said yes and that had been all that mattered.
So why did he give excuse after excuse to not set a date to say our “I dos”?
Why wasn’t he my husband yet?
I didn’t know, but by the end of the night, I was going to find out.
No matter what tactics I had to use. Even if they were dirty.
Especially if they were dirty.
„When it comes to making you my husband, I will fight as dirty as necessary for you.”
Oh, how I missed Jake and Jackson! This short novella beautifully reminded me of how much I love these two. Surrender is a quick read, filled to the brim with emotions and passion. It’s a continuation of their happily ever after, but it didn’t come without a small bump in the road. Because when two intense men are planning their forever, you can be sure there would be some hurdles.
This short novella is pure sexiness! Jake and Jackson are still insatiable and passionate and their unrestrained love is pouring off the pages of this book. Fiona Cole perfectly showed how important is communication in a relationship and that when you share the love as strong as Jackson and Jake, then there’s nothing more important. I adore how much these two care about each other and seeing how possessive and enamored they are brought me so much joy! And the lust between them? Set the fire department on your speed dial, because these men will make your Kindle burst into flames! Surrender is a wonderful addition to their breathtaking love story, which is the best MM romance ever!
I absolutely fell in love with Jake and Jackson in Lovers, and Surrender gave me another tantalizing peek into their life. These guys are one of my favorite MM couples…sexy and intense, and always entertaining. With Surrender, Fiona Cole tests their relationship when wedding plans start to feel overwhelming and tempers flare. The dynamic between this pair is, in a word, WOW! There’s a whole lot of heat and feeling packed into this delicious little novella!
One of the hottest, most swoon worthy novellas I’ve read in a while. While it was far too short to satisfy my adoration for this couple, it was nice nice be back in their heads after just reading Another.
Loved this follow-up to Jake and Jackson’s story – two characters who like so many of Fiona Cole’s characters – captured my heart. Short(er) and sweet and serves to wrap up their journey in the best of ways. Excellent! Highly recommend.
I had read Another before reading this novella and it was a perfect, short, hot M/M story about Jackson and Jake. In Another, I know Jake was Carina’s ex-fiance and he had fallen for Jackson. This short story showed how hot Jackson and Jake are for each other, and how much they love each other! Love is love!!
Surrender (Voyeur #3.5) is a delightful novella, catching up with Jake and Jackson from Lovers. It’s hot, sexy; a fantastic read!
After coming across several teasers – and even knowing that this was a novella starring previously introduced characters – I just had to get it and immediately jump in.
It can be read as a short standalone but I loved Jake and Jackson so much, that I will definitely be picking up “Lovers” where you can find their full story. Just waiting for a little sale, ’cause I’m trying to be a little more conservative with the whole “one-click” feature.
Also, if you liked Andrew – Jackson’s brother – you can subscribe to Fiona Cole’s newsletter and read his short, hot-hot story for free.
I’ve been loving my M/M reads so much lately and am so happy to have found this couple.
I have a feeling I’ll love them even more once I read “Lovers”.
Oh what a perfect hour I’ve have had spending it with the delicious Jake and Jackson! Those that have met them before in the book Lovers will not be disappointed with this perfect novella. Surrender is full of love and two hot stubborn alphas fighting for dominance.
There is a wedding on the cards but will these two ever set a date, well you will have to read and see!
“When it comes to making you my husband, I will fight as dirty as necessary for you.”
Thank you Fiona for writing this, it’s been so lush to meet up with my two favourite guys again.
“He’d flipped my world upside down without even trying, making me realize that was the way I was supposed to be the whole time”
Fiona Cole knows the way to my heart. More Jake and Jackson will do it every time. I love my J guys so much. I first fell in love with Jackson in Voyeur, and I was super excited when he got his own book in Lovers. I loved how Lovers turned out, but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t want more Jake and Jackson. Fiona killed the MM scenes in and I was clambering for more. And she delivered. Surrender is short and sweet and sexy. It has angst and feelings. It has everything you’d expect from a Fiona Cole book. Do yourself a favour and pick up this beauty.
If you read Surrender as part of the love is love is love anthology, know that this version has added content that you’re not going to want to miss.
This is a hot novella that is sure to steam up your kindle. It is a catch up of Jackson and Jake so I would recommend that you read Lovers beforehand. I am intrigued and want read it to find out what previously happened with these two because this was my first of this series so I went in blind. But for those who are familiar with their story I am sure you will love this and devour every word.
Jake and Jackson are my favorite couple out of the Voyeur series, so when Fiona announced that she was releasing a novella for them I was so excited!!! And man, my two favorite men did not disappoint!!
This novella may not be that long, but there is no shortage of emotion. These two have a love so palpable that it radiates off the page.. And don’t even get me started on their sexual chemistry! DAMMMNNN.
I loved seeing how these two grew into their love, and seeing them overcome all of their insecurities to just BE with one another brought a tear to my eye. This is a must read for the Voyeur series, and a must read in general!!
**Lovers needs to be read first before starting this novella.
**I received an ARC of this book and these are my honest opinions!!**
This was such a great little story to tie up Jackson and Jake’s story with the best wedding! I love their dynamic as a couple. This was such a short and sweet story with a few dirty parts to find out how they finally get to the wedding.
Short & sweet! Full of passion amd emotional. There was so much packed into such a tiny package. I really enjoyed Lovers so it was really great to get more from Jake and Jackson. And in classic Fiona Cole fashion, this was smoking hot and deliciously dirty.
Ahhhhh!!!! I just love Jackson and Jake! They are freaking wonderful! Getting to read about the planning of the wedding was so much fun! And an angry Jake was made to sound ridiculously hot!!! Love them so much! And it also had a great lead into Another!
This “HOT, STEAMY, SEXY” MM romance is LIVE and only 99cents!
4 Stars!
Ever since this was announced I couldn’t wait to pick it up! I was so happy to be reunited with these characters and once again I felt all the feels with them while reading Surrender! I had to finish it in one sitting and I really enjoyed it!
This was exactly the kind of quick read that I needed in my life! I definitely need to do a re-read of this series soon.
With Surrender, Ms.Cole kept me grinning, blushing, and feeling it all!
*I volunteered to read and review a copy of this book from Foreword PR & Marketing / the author*
”This man was my best friend—my fiancé. I looked at him and my heart tripped over itself, beating harder with all the love I had.”
What can I say?! Another Fiona Cole masterpiece! It was SO incredibly amazing to visit my boys again! Jake and Jackson will never not be my favorite Fiona Cole couple! This novella was short and sweet, but oh so wanted and desired! The emotion an author can throw into a short novella such as Surrender’s caliber was mind blowing! I couldn’t put it down start to finish!
Holy cow!! I’m not too sure what I was expecting but once I started reading I could not stop. Extremely fast read with a lot of content. The chemistry between our main characters was off the charts. Lately this trope is just not my thing. But this author just proved to me. I wasn’t reading the right books. Cannot wait to see what comes next. Just amazeballs
Okay, so I am going to start this review with a short story to explain the situation of how this tasty short was read cause I feel like it will really get across how much you need this read in your life!
Now, I was reading Surrender by Fiona Cole while getting tattooed the other day… First, let me explain the contraption I was seated in. Since we were working on a part of the back of my shoulder, it was one of those seated style massage chairs, where you are kneeling and seated at the same time, with this post that comes up between your knees to hold the front rest… meaning there was a SOLID PIECE OF METAL tight against my nether areas, while I was eyeballs deep into Jake and Jackson’s story… it took EV-ERY-THING to NOT rock against said post… Y’all, these two are everything and should be read in a place you can “enjoy yourself” at.
I share that to tell you that even with a “quickie” read, Fiona knows how to give you all the intensity, all the drama, all the deep desire these two have for each other. Remember how much was going on between Jake and Jackson in Lovers… imagine all of that condensed down into a read you can sneak in on your lunch. Heed my warning though, you’ll want to be somewhere alone when reading it. Don’t be me. LOL
If you love the Voyeur series as much as I do, you NEEEEED to read, devour, immerse yourself complete in this novella. You definitely won’t be sorry!
Jake and Jackson are my most favorite characters from the Voyeur series! I LOVE these two!!! To be able to have more of them in Surrender was awesome! But I think I psyched myself up for this a little too much and was kind of let down. First let me tell you that anthologies are not my thing. With Surrender being first published in an anthology, I knew it was going to be short, hot, and to the point. And it was all of that. But I wanted more. I neeeeed more! More them, more depth, more feelings, and more intimate moments between them. It’s a great filler for the series–a catch up with the characters. But yeah, I still want more.
