From New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Elisabeth Naughton comes a new story in her House of Sin series… The leaders of my House want her dead. The men I’ve secretly aligned myself with want her punished for screwing up their coup. I’ve been sent by both to deal with her, but one look at the feisty redhead and I’ve got plans of my own. Before I carry out anyone else’s orders, she’s … carry out anyone else’s orders, she’s going to give me what I want. And only when I’m satisfied will I decide if she lives or dies.
Depending, of course, on just how easily she surrenders…
Every 1001 Dark Nights novella is a standalone story. For new readers, it’s an introduction to an author’s world. And for fans, it’s a bonus book in the author’s series. We hope you’ll enjoy each one as much as we do.

Surrender is the Prequel to Elisabeth Naughton’s House of Sin series. This book was amazing and I enjoyed the insight into Marco and Felicity’s relationship. For such a small package it was jam-packed with plenty of steam, drama, and action! Very enjoyable. I highly recommend.
4.5 stars
Surrender is a great introduction to the House of Sin series as it builds the world of the Houses and the Entente with some serious sizzle between Marco and Felicity.
The Entente has always been the domain of the men, but Felicity wants to see that change- along with other parts of the powerful behind-the-scenes force. House Salvitici has sent Marco to deliver a warning to her, but once Marco sees and interacts with her for the first time, all his prior plans go out the window. This woman is fierce and smart, and she pushes his buttons in all the right ways. But they each have their own hidden agendas- the question is, are they on the same side?
Surrender has twists, turns and steam aplenty for a novella, and it was a very quick read as I didn’t want to put it down once I started it. With that said, it is a much lighter read than the rest of the House of Sin series as the Entente’s power comes from some very dark places with some very twisted individuals.
Marco Garcia has his eye on the prize. Felicity isn’t sure her life will ever be the same again. If you’ve read the House of Sin series than you’ll want this added to your library. But if you haven’t, that’s ok because this gives you enough that you’ll want to check out the series anyway.
You wouldn’t think that a novella could be a page-turner but this author will prove you wrong. We have plot twists, revelations and an ending that really isn’t one. In order to get a full sense of what the House of Sin is all about you’ll need to read the first three books (and those should be read in order). This book gives the background of the secondary characters seen there. And this leaves you wanting to see more of Marc and Felicity – fingers crossed.
I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
Bam!!!
I was very excited to learn that Surrender was actually a prequel to the House of Sin series. This novella is included in the 1001 Dark Nights series which is a collective series of novellas. In this enticing story we get a look into how Marco and Felicity meet and sparks fly from the beginning. Fee is definitely a force to be reckoned with, and quite literally rocks Marco’s world. This novella is full of heat and intrigue and left me wanting more of their story. This novella can be read as a stand-alone but I encourage you to check out the HOS series if you have not already.
Last but not least, I received an ARC of Surrender for an honest review, which in no way influenced my review. Thank you, Elisabeth Naughton for this engaging look into the story behind Marco and Fee. I’m very sad now that the series is complete.
Surrender is a stand-alone novella in the House of Sin series focusing on Marco and Felicity. I am so glad that Naughton wrote this one because Marco and Felicity have a strong presence in the rest of the books and I was really curious to learn more of their background, how they met and fell in love and this short story shares that and more. Naughton provides the perfect blend of intrigue, suspense, mystery and steamy romance that spans the distance of time and the threat of danger from two strong rival houses as well as a strong bond of love that does not fade. More information on the inner workings of the Entente is given, along with a look into Felicity’s upbringing and some on the resistance. I was hooked from the first page and was so sad to see it end. Naughton has created such a fascinating world with amazing characters and I would love to see more from them in the future. Surrender is a fabulous ending to the House of Sin series.
*I received an ARC copy of this book from the author with no obligation to review. The thoughts expressed in this review are non-biased and completely my own.
Loved this story, well played out with the characters.
Marco has a desire to be with the hot little lady Felicity, but alas he is suppose to eliminate her. lol OK not happening. He is enticed by her mouth, body and her appeal to get what she wants and video.
But all of this is a ruse, but by who?
This story is cute and yes sexy. I’m glad I was able to read their story as they are also in the trilogy Forbidden, Deceived, and Undone; House of Sin Novels the Nic and Natalie story. I had wondered how Marco and Felicity actually met, and became who they are.
This was given to me by the author and I freely give it a review. Thank you Elisabeth Naughton, it was good.
