The call finally comes. Serge has located a remote cavern in the Rockies that holds a Dragon prisoner. Time is of the essence. Ronan and Starr rush to implement a rescue party and the Director of the SEB calls on his Sire, Josef, for help. After all, with Josef comes a very powerful Witch and a deadly Wolf. With dark magic in the mix he knows he will need Peri’s power if they’re to have any … chance at success.
Plans seem to fall apart as they uncover a plot so mind-blowing that Ronan’s ‘boss’, the President of the United States, wants to send in the troops! Averting that disaster, he realizes the entire load now rests upon his shoulders.
Can he pull off a massive operation, covering the entire United States and beyond? Can Starr withstand a deadly blast of dark magic power?
Read Supernatural Enforcement Bureau, Book 2, The Imprisoned Dragon and The Witch, to find out.

Book 2 ~ This second book of the series was just as awesome as the first. Full of action and suspense that had me hanging on the edge of my seat…
Ronan and Star are searching for the missing dragon and need all the help they can get. Calling in reinforcements, brings in a whole load of new and intriguing characters. Also Josef, Gabe and Peri from ‘The Witch, The Wolf and The Vampire Series’..
Can they all band together and to fight against the dark magic?
Fab fab fab!!!
Book 2 of a terrific series!
Read my then once a great read.
Book 2 in SEB essentially picks up where book 1 ended. Star and Ronan are hunting for the lost dragon and they call in the big guns (Gabe, Peri and Josef from WWV) to assist. They are up against Dark magic and they need all the reinforcements they can get. Star has settled into the role of Ronans asistant quite nicely and it sure makes “naptime” fun!!! Whilst the book centres around the search for the dragon, we also get to meet more of the peripheral characters from the first book and meet lots of new characters.
I loved Sam from the first book. He is such a cheeky chappy and irreverent. We see him grow up essentially from being “Wham bam thank you ma’am Sam” to respectful and caring mate.
Charmaine, a witch, has been abused the same people holding the dragon. She tried to help him as much as she could but when caught she was punished. She is immediately taken under Sams wing and everyone but Sam can see they belong together!!! Charmaine is so sweet but also strong as she has endured the “punishments” doled out but is still a kind and caring person. I wanted to rip the throats out of the bad guys myself when found out what she had been through. I’m not ashamed to admit I cried a bit. A genuinely good book does that to you, it grabs you by the heart and takes you along for the ride.
We also get to meet Serge, who had been on the recon mission looking for the dragon for almost a year. He met his mate nearby and he returns to the fold with her.
Creed, the big, scary dude also makes another appearance. He still appears as this unapproachable, unreachable persona so I’m hoping to get to know him more in book 3. There is a little teaser at the end of book 2 as a segue into what might be happening in book 3.
Riveting Roller-coaster, I cannot see any other way to describe this book. A.K. has done a wonderful job keeping us on the seat of our pants wondering what was going to happen next. Are we going to be safe from evil this is time, or will it return worse than ever. You just never know so you must continue to read to learn the fates of our heroes.
Until Next Time… Tabi
The SEB team are a group of vampires, Wolves and witches, not forgetting Starr, a Dragon, the last of her kind, who police the supernaturals.
I love a story that a combination of heated attraction as well as constant action and excitement all through the book and that’s exactly what you get here.
As for the ending, as usual this author leaves you with a cliffhanger that has you immediately reaching for the next book.
A.K. Michaels has an incredible ability to create a world that you can’t help but want to be part of so if you like an action packed paranormal read then this series is definitely for you.
