To Sarah Sorry appearances mean everything…that is until her whole universe turns upside down.Anyone who says being a teenager is easy, lies. It’s even worse when seemingly uncontrollable abilities appear out of nowhere. Puberty is one thing, but what her body is doing—no one ever taught in health class. That is the exact moment Sarah’s life changes forever, or perhaps it’s because of a talking … exact moment Sarah’s life changes forever, or perhaps it’s because of a talking beaver’s demands for waffles and maple syrup. Either way, things are never going to be the same again.
As a new heroine on the horizon, she is bound to make a plethora of mistakes and you can bet your bottom dollar she’ll be Super Sorry for each and every one of them.

Super Sorry by C.A. King is one of the best examples of a YA fantasy story that I have read in a long time. This book had everything you could want – excitement, hilarity, an amazing character – while also show casing exactly what it is to be someone of this age. You really need to make sure you have plenty of time when you start reading this book as I can guarantee that once you start it you will not want to put it down!
For me Sarah is such an incredible character. She was so easy to connect with and relate to. But I also found her to be so entertaining as well. She drew me fully in to this story and even now I find myself thinking about! This book is just another example of why this author has quickly become one of my favourites. I would highly recommend you reading this book today!
I have to say, this is my fav so far from CA King. I was immediately drawn into Super Sorry. From the gorgeous and eye catching cover to the fantasy world within that comes alive off the pages as you read. This is one of those you will wanna set aside a few hours so you can read this in one fell swoop. If you like it half as much as I did that will be too easy to do. I loved the way this book layered fantasy with real life in a way that makes the lessons easy to catch but still interesting and fun to read. Sarah is one awesome main character and she was fun to watch grow throughout the story. We find her as she discovers that she has abilities that she has no idea how to use. The journey she takes will have you laughing and cheering for her as she finds her way in this new and magical world. I can’t wait to see what we will get next from CA King!

Five Stars
Super Sorry by C. A. King is a great change of pace from the books I have been reading. C. A. is one of my go to writers and this story was wonderful. This is a YA read with all of the teenage challenges, not to mention adding in super powers. The characters are relatable and the story flows from beginning to end. Sarah Sorry is a typical teen, wanting to hang out with friends, but then things start changing. This is my new favorite book of C.A. King. I like the fact that most of her books are short enough to read in a day or two, and they are always pack with great writing and thought provoking issues.
This story follows Sarah, a teenager who starts to experience strange abilities. Like life is not hard enough, she was sent to a new school and knows nobody there. All she wants to do is fit in, but she is having a hard time doing that and trying to control these newfound abilities. I found the hungry beaver to be quite entertaining! The characters were well written with a great story line. The author captured the angst that most teenagers go through and threw in some extra special ones too.
This is the story of Sarah a high school girl. Whom finds herself in some unpredictable criucustsmed which led her to a special school. What going to happen next. A few unexpected turns. I enjoyed this book a nice quick read
I loved this story. This is one of my favorites by this author. One of the things I love most about this author is her ability to pull me into her story with her amazing writing skills and attention to details. Her characters are connectable which makes the story easy to read. This is a story about Sarah. Her whole world is about to turn upside down when she learns that she has special abilities. She cannot control these abilities and is making a ton of mistakes. For her things will never be the same again for her. I won’t say too much more about her story so that you pick up this book. She made such a great, strong character. She brings the story to life and made it entertaining for me. I highly recommend this book and this author.

5 out of 5 stars
I loved reading the book Super Sorry by C.A. King. It is a story that once I started reading, I found that I couldn’t put it down until the final page. I loved the character of Sarah Sorry. She is a teenage girl who wants to fit in with her peers. She finds this to be hard as she is experiencing changes to her body and her life. If that is not enough there is that talking beaver that is always hungry. What does the future hold for Sarah? Read this book to find out. Sarah is a character that I found myself caring about. I also enjoyed reading about the other characters that are introduced and interact with Sarah. There are comical moments that had me laughing out loud and others that had me empathizing with what Sarah is feeling and going through. The author has written a story that is exciting and entertaining. The storyline and characters come to life and I found them easy to identify with. Don’t miss out on an amazing tale that will have you hooked from the very beginning. I highly recommend reading it.

I was going through a reading slump when I started reading this but it was so easy to read and Sarah is just a really likeable and funny character! I feel like I really related to her despite being in my early 20’s.
Sarah is your average popular high school girl who cares too much about her image. However, puberty and other supernatural abilities hit her as she discovers more about the boarding school she’s at.
This story has a mix of mystery, humour, supernatural/paranormal elements and an adorable talking beaver! I think it was done really well and I can’t wait to read more from this author!
Super sorry by C.A. King was not what I expected at all, but I loved it none the less! Sarah Sorry’s story is definitely fast paced, and I just couldn’t put it down. This author knows how to keep you guessing and on the edge of your seat, needing to know what happens next! This is my first book that I’ve read from this author, and it will definitely not be the last! I definitely recommend both this book, and this author!

Super Sorry by C.A. King
This is another great read by King. C.A. keeps me on the edge of my seat with all her books so far. I love reading these books and I can’t wait for more.
Sarah, aka Super Sorry, is sent away to a new school when hers shuts down. The thing with her school shutting down is partly her fault. What happens when she gets zits? The quote I chose for Sarah is: “I could ask you the same thing. Somehow, I never took you for the librarian apprentice type.”
Bane, superstar quarterback, finds himself at a new school when he hurts his friend. He finds that the new girl is not all that bad. The quote I chose for Bane is: “The way all super sleuths do. We snoop around. If they delivered stolen goods, they have to be hidden inside the school somewhere. Find them and we might find some answers.”
Highly recommended for paranormal romances.
I picked up this book because I was intrigued by the description, and the cover is awesome. The story was not at all what I expected, but it made for an entertaining read. Make sure you have enough time set aside because you will want to read this all the way through in one sitting. I can’t say too much more about it or it will ruin the experience for you. Give this book a chance, or you’ll be Super Sorry you missed out!
Super Sorry by C.A. King was a fun light hearted read. I got a slice of life and coming of age read that got a lot of laughs from me. I loved Sarah Super, she felt like such a genuine character trying to figure out what route was best. I loved the development and the plot was great. I cannot wait to pick up another book by C.A King.
I wish that all books were as easy to read as this one was! I laughed and laughed throughout the entire thing! I truly appreciate the fresh breath of air that this book gave me. It wasn’t too deep or emotional. This is a great YA book.
Sarah Sorry is just like every other teenager, she has friends, family, school and all the pressures that go along with them. She is popular, pretty, and on a strict self-imposed diet so that she can stay that way.
We meet Sarah as she is going to a landmark festival with her family where she wants to meet up with her friends instead, it is held the last two weeks of summer every year and there is lots to see, do and experience. As she goes off with her friends to find a group of guys from school, they go on rides and then for something to eat, being a cheat day, she allows herself the carbs she normally avoids. This is seemingly all she has to worry about when she goes to meet her friends, until it isn’t.
The day after the festival, Sarah finds that she has to go into school a day early to pick her classes for the year, even though she would rather be spending time with her friends, but while she is there, her teacher looks like he has seen something in her teeth, she feels mortified to realise that it is a spot on her cheek and decided the only thing that she can do is to pop it, but quickly has to leave the school bathroom and premises when the mirror starts to melt and give off some seriously toxic gasses.
Later on that day she is preparing to go to see her friends when she gets another spot, which unfortunately, her little brother sees and she is mortified again. After the last time she dealt with a spot, she decides to go to the local river and take care of it, what she doesn’t know is that this time it has another affect and later that evening, a beaver knocks on her window and demands to be let in out of the rain because he is soaking wet and it is Sarah’s fault!
The next day Sarah realises that this is no normal beaver, he has just made himself a plate full of waffles and complained about the lack of maple syrup in the house and the revelations just keep on coming when she has to change schools because of the closure of her own and when a teacher goes to her home and tells her that she has been accepted into her school and it is the beaver who made the application for her.
What she doesn’t realise is that she is no ordinary student, this is no ordinary school and she is not going through ordinary puberty and her life is about to change forever. This is a coming of age story with a twist, will Sarah be able to come to terms with her spots and the change which is coming, or will she be Super Sorry that this whole adventure started? This is a mystery which you will have to read to find out what the future holds for both Sarah and her talking beaver friend.
This is a great young adult read but is so well written that even as an adult I was drawn in a captivated by the story. It had a strong female character and the authors writing is so good the images it creates bring the story to life.
Sarah Sorry has a simple life. She is popular and has good friends. To her appearances in everything. So imagine her horror when one day she gets a zit.
But these aren’t just normal zits. These show her the beginning of her powers that she didn’t know she had.
She has no idea how to control them or how they work, and while trying to keep her image in tact she makes mistakes in more ways that one.
Being a teenager just got more complicated. Can she learn to control her power? Or will they destroy her image and status in school?
This is a fun coming of age teenage fantasy novel that really doesn’t take itself all that seriously. I really think that King has taken a really quite tired genre that hasn’t really had anything new and refreshing thrown into it in a while and given it a new lease of the random. I found her premise and writing so refreshing and new and a breeze to read.
Sarah Sorry finds that she is having some issues with growing up, being smacked around the head with the good ‘ole’ puberty bat has some real consequences for her which lead to powers that are both so weird and hilarious that I almost cannot believe that King wrote it. Still, Sarah is thrown from one daft and problematic instance to the next, leading to adventure, new and surprising friends and a little bit of love along the way. The story is not, I repeat, not predictable in any way shape or form. I usually pride myself on knowing where things are going but, in this book, I just had to strap in and see where King took me next. The story didn’t fall into the teen fantasy by numbers trap that many have done, and I can only applaud King for that.
This story is funny and fresh and not at all what I expected. It would be perfect for a younger audience but if you’re a little older and after a good chuckle and an unbelievable story that seems to laugh right along with you, then read this, you will not be Super Sorry (I know, I hate myself).
I love the way King always provides her readers with such a complete new world to delve into, whether pure fantasy or a YA tone. This YA keeper is just that – I loved Sarah and the story that unfolded. She is lovable and believable. From the epic cover design to the fantastic story that unfolded, all lovers of YA fantasy will thoroughly enjoy this tale. Two thumbs up!!
C.A. King is a go-to author for me, with the incredible storylines and brilliant characters this book was no different. I loved this storyline and the development of the characters. It flowed effortlessly from chapter to chapter and had me hooked from the very beginning. It’s a mentally visual read that made me connect to the story even more. I loved Sarah and following along on her journey was entertaining, action-packed and brilliant from the start. I highly recommend this read and anything else that this author brings!
Interesting new YA read by C.A. King.
The name caught my attention first with it’s double meaning…. it gave a great insight into the direction the Author took this story.
With some humor and tepicle teenage problems mixed together with a new take on supernatural fantasy, Super Sorry has it all.
Great world building and the MC is funny and spunky just how I like them.
But the stand out in this story was definitely her sidekick……
