Dating is difficult for someone like me.I’m obsessive, arrogant, and rude. This means I must be creative when bedding a woman.I learn what I can about her through whatever means necessary. Some call it stalking. I call it clever research. It gets me what I want and when I want it.When I get bored, I move on.My system works like a charm… SUNSHINE shows up.
*
Dating is nonexistent for me.
I’m quirky, silly, and inexperienced.
This means my romantic life is certainly lacking.
I don’t date because no one’s interested.
Some say I’m an independent woman who doesn’t need a man.
But I know I’m on the fast track to becoming a lonely cat lady.
How many cats are too many cats anyway?
My boring world stays that way…
Until my future stepmother’s STALKER shows up.

I loved this quick, sexy story! It was a short story that was so well developed, it felt like a full length book. The character development was amazing. These two authors should definitely write more books together!

Now this is OTT crazy insta-love goodness all wrapped up in a nice little package!
Not that I thought it would be anything less considering the title and the authors, but one can never know until they dive in, and Sunshine and the Stalker went there in all the best ways and has me wanting more.
Cerys (Sunshine) & James (Stalker) were all kinds of crazy fun. Cerys is a bit of a loner. She’s awkward and yet I found her refreshing in how she dealt with things and quite insightful. James is all kinds of creepy, stalker alpha AF male and I found him absolutely fascinating and kinda adored him. There was an honesty to his desires and actions that, regardless of how he went about things, and he just worked for me.
Their insta-love is pretty much insta and things happen extremely fast, but I loved it. It was a little dark, dirty, smexy and there was just enough of a pull between Cerys and James that had me rolling with it all and happy with where they were at in the end.
This was a fun, quick read. The writing was seamlessly done and you could tell that these two authors had a lot of fun collaborating on this one and I’m hoping we’ll see more from this writing duo in the future, especially because there is another situation that is mentioned that I really want to know more about.
So, if you are a fan of insta-love and like it a little OTT cray cray and dirty, then this is a definite must read for you!

When two amazing authors collide, the world ends with this amazing, breath-taking story!
“Who is this girl, and why does she have me pinned down in this moment as though she is the hunter and I the prey?”
Sunshine and the Stalker is a definite must read. It’s a quick, sexy read with a little darkness below the surface. I actually found myself smiling at the pages throughout the whole book. James is an intense not so normal stalker who has been know to be a tad of an asshole at times. Just my type!!
“I want to possess and consume her unlike any woman I’ve ever encountered. And when I finally have her, I will punish her for this power she has over me.”
Cerys is a little broken but she is strong and brave. She has also basically been on her own since she was about 13 years old. I loved her style and the weirdness of her personality. When they meet something clicks into place and James finds himself intrigued by this bizarre little stranger. Both are crave affection but in different ways in the beginning. They are total opposites but couldn’t be more perfect for each other. James Motherfucking Darden can own, possess and destroy me any day!!
“She lets out a loud, happy squeal that makes my black heart thrum to life. A devil has feelings, it would seem. She’s cracked me right open and dug deep inside. I like her there.”

K. Webster and Dani René have incredible chemistry as authors on this book. ALSO, their characters also have immense chemistry. I read this, thinking it’d be a casual read. However, it was actually very entertaining. I was captivated by both leads, and I honestly wanted more of them. I would’ve stanned an entire book by this duo about these two! I’m a fan of both authors, and I loved how they came together. I related to the leading lady and her interests LOL. I found the leading man to be dark and brooding but also hilarious. His commentary had me laughing so hard. I guess I have dark humor! The chatter between these two was highly entertaining and snappy. I recommend this to lovers of short teases, sweet girls and fictional stalker men you can’t resist.
ORIGINAL COMMENT
Can we extend this???? I loved the chemistry between these two. So many snapbacks LOL.
Quite satisfying.
A fast-paced novella that hits all the marks.
I would’ve loved a full length novel from these two characters. A funky, artistic young lady and a dominant, broken older male. I was instantly entrapped by their connection. It was quite funny, then a bit serious, and definitely HOT! Very HOT! If you’re looking for something short, demanding, and satisfying, this is it!
The collaboration between these two authors are amazing. I love how two authors can come together and put pen to paper. That is where the magic happens. I know when I started this book I was going to get something sexy and somewhat addicting. The characters, Cerys and and James, were utterly hilarious at times and emotional other times. I didn’t know what to make of James Darden at first. I didn’t know where he was coming from. He would stalk his prey and go in for the “kill”. Cerys Youngblood threw a wrench in his plans. She wasn’t planned. She brought so much light into his dark life. She brought mess into his perfection. They were the exact opposite of each other but they worked beautifully.
I love those couples in books that others don’t understand but just seem to work. This couple shouldn’t have worked but they did. Cerys and James saw themselves inside each other and held on for dear life. I’m wondering if Cerys’ best friend, Kia, will have a story… I guess time will tell. The only thing that I wish to change about the story is the length. I wanted more between the time the characters finally dated and the epilogue. I’m just saying that because the characters were so enjoyable and I wanted more not less.
Why is it that a troubled, alpha male is so hot? Say hello to James, who fits that description to a T! James meets Cerys, a young girl who he becomes mesmerized by. The story touches on many aspects such as too old, too young or just right? The descriptions of the characters is so impressive that you can actually visualize them in your mind. While this is a short read, it is truly enjoyable. These characters have unreal chemistry that you can’t help fanning yourself! Do yourself a favor and read this book!
I absolutely love these two authors. Any book by them I inhale so when the two of them come together you can be sure I’ll jump right in.
This is a fabulous quick read. I sat and inhaled it pretty quickly. There was no way I wasn’t gonna read it in one sitting. I absolutely loved both of the characters. The sexy scenes are off the charts hot.
Really hope these two write more together as this was so so good.
A short and dark story with lots of steamy moments. A great read by 2 great authors
If you love stalker books and instant love this definitely a book you must read. James is a stalker he stalks his target and makes his move. James never thought he would meet the light he needed. James and Cerys are hotness overload together and this is one quick short story that will melt your kindle! 5/5 stars *** Reviewed by Sweet & Spicy Reads
Sexy and Sweet lunchtime read
He is a bit of a stalker – okay, fine, he may possibly have a problem
She is a bit of an outcast – a round peg trying to fit into a square hole
He didn’t know she was watching-
She didn’t know she would become an obsession
A sexy-sweet older man /younger woman romance that left me wanting more
I really would have liked this to be a full-length story
Enjoyed the characters and the plot line
Hot, sexy and sizzling with passion. This little instalove had me hooked.
James Darden is a a stalker on a mission until a sweet little ray of sunshine called Cerys crosses his path and fills his world with splashes of colour. His darkness and her light together make an excellently balanced blend that keeps you turning the pages for more.
I loved the connection between them, and I couldnt get enough of the heat and fire between them between the sheets and on a deeper level.
This story isnt lacking in any department, fully fledged characters, a passionate and engaging little story and a dash of taboo to give it that extra kick.
These two authors have penned an exciting page-turner of a story that set me alight as I read! I hope they write more together because WOW!
This book was quite unexpected. It’s a deliciously quick taboo read, that I read in one sitting. I didn’t want it to end.
boring
…until you’re chanting my name like a prayer,” he promises, causing me to blush at his filthy words.
“I’m not religious at all,” I bite back as his hands find my hips.
“Today, all day, you’ll find God again, and his name is James.”
With that, he lifts me off the stool and walks me back to my bedroom.
Woohoo! Did it get hot in here or what? This book was all kinds of illicit goodness between a crazy sunshine and her even crazier stalker. I couldn’t put it down (the only time I enjoyed riding the subway to work..lol) It’s a quick read involving two characters that not everyone understands but, my goodness, their chemistry is insanely hot.
I love that there is a complicated aspect to their relationship that they had to face, it gave more of a dimension to these two conflicted characters. I love that Cerys is the perfect balance of strength and vulnerability and her character is all sorts of confident as well.
All in all, Sunshine and the Stalker is a quick, illicit, explicit story about two people who are often misunderstood. Both authors who collaborated managed to create a world without delving too deep into the background and instead, we were able to concentrate on our characters more.
I really enjoyed reading this amazing story.

Sunshine and the Stalker is an intense and unique read as the concept that created it , that being a Live Write by the two authors. Fast, short and sexy perfect for a little reality escape during a busy work commute.
When I found out these two authors wrote a book together I HAD to get my hands on it. This is a fast paced (but fitting speed) novella. I will never turn down a sexy taboo read and Sunshine and the Stalker did not disappoint. There’s a great mix of humor and sexual desires throughout. Highly recommend you grab your copy. This is my unbiased and voluntary review.
For reasons I’d rather not examine too closely, I love a story about a dark, twisty, stalker-y guy who becomes obsessed with someone, then falls in love and learns to become a somewhat normal person. You know, like Sebastian in The Bad Guy. That was a guy who did some effed-up things in the name of “love”, but slowly learned what it really meant to put someone else’s feelings ahead of his own. By the end of that book, Sebastian was prime, grade-A book boyfriend material. But sadly, James, the “hero” in this book, is no Sebastian.
James is a 40-something rich dude who has decided that traditional dating is boring, so he “hunts” women. He stalks them, learns about them, uses that info to entice them into having sex with him, then dumps them and moves on to his next target. He’s stalking Cerys’s (the heroine’s) step-mother when Cerys mouths off to him and captures his attention. He’s immediately smitten with 18-year-old Cerys.
Now, I probably could’ve gotten over the fact that James is old enough to be Cerys’s father, and that James clearly has mental health issues if these two characters had gotten to know each other and Cerys started teaching James what it meant to be somewhat normal/to love someone. But that’s soooo not what happened. Here’s what did happen after the anti-meet-cute:
1. James pays off a doorman to find Cerys.
2. Cerys, who knows nothing about James other than the fact that he’s a clearly deranged stalker, lets him into her home when she’s alone.
3. They have sex. Lots and lots of sex. Cerys was a virgin, of course. At this point in the story I’m not sure if I’m more offended by the fact that Cerys lets a strange man into her home while she’s alone, or by the fact that she’s willing to hand her virginity over to a strange man who she knows to be a stalker. Clearly Cerys isn’t too bright, and I have ZERO tolerance for TSTL heroines.
4. Cerys obviously has a magical vagina, because after having sex with her, James realizes he loves her. I like instalove and magical vaginas about as much as I like TSTL heroines, sadly.
5. They live happily ever after. I’m sure the story of how daddy met mommy after stalking grandma will entertain their children and grandchildren for generations. Sigh.
Long-story-short, I’m going to make a bold statement and say this was the worst piece of crap I’ve read in a long, long time. The fact that I finished reading it doesn’t make it any better than any of the books I’ve marked as DNF lately. This one was just so terrible that I kept reading, thinking it couldn’t possibly get any worse. Then it did. Over and over again. It’d be a toss-up if I had to choose who I hated more–Cerys or James. They both sucked big, hairy, sweaty balls, in my opinion. In other words, run for your lives, folks. Save yourselves. It’s too late for me…
I’m gonna keep this short.
The entire book, expect for the epilogue, takes place in about two days.
It is a very fast paced book.
Insta-love.
It was a good storyline and concept, I just wish I would have been taken place over a longer period of time.
