Dating is difficult for someone like me.I’m obsessive, arrogant, and rude. This means I must be creative when bedding a woman.I learn what I can about her through whatever means necessary. Some call it stalking. I call it clever research. It gets me what I want and when I want it.When I get bored, I move on.My system works like a charm… SUNSHINE shows up.
*
Dating is nonexistent for me.
I’m quirky, silly, and inexperienced.
This means my romantic life is certainly lacking.
I don’t date because no one’s interested.
Some say I’m an independent woman who doesn’t need a man.
But I know I’m on the fast track to becoming a lonely cat lady.
How many cats are too many cats anyway?
My boring world stays that way…
Until my future stepmother’s STALKER shows up.

In between reading full length books, I love enjoying quick reads like this.
That’s what Sunshine and the Stalker is. Now, just because it’s a short story, doesn’t make it any less good.
This book was perfect!
You’ll want James to notice and put all his attention on you. You’ll want Cerys to shine light in your life and paint you in beautiful ways.
James like to stalk his women before meeting them. Get as much information from them to guarantee “success in the sheets.” He’s had his eye on Cerys’s step-mom for a while but upon attempting his “meet and greet” with her, he gets intercepted by Cerys who calls him out on his tendency and every names him Stalker Darden, lol.
This is an insta-lust-love kind of story. Goes in with a bang and out with a bang. I loved it all.
You have two people here missing pivotal things in their lives and, by fate, brings them together to mend each other back together.
I love anything that K Webster writes… EVERYTHING. And, now reading a few of Dani René’s book, I can say the same.
Putting both of them together????
WHY COULDN’T I HAVE A LONGER BOOK?! Lol
Seriously, though. Loved it, loved it, LOVED IT!
This book went too quickly! It was definitely interesting. I’m a fan of dark romances, but sometimes they can get intense. This one headed in that direction, but veered off onto a path I didn’t see coming. A good, quick read!
“Our kind of love is the kind of love people create art about,” she tells me. “It’s messy and confusing. Splashes of color and smears of black. It’s deep and meaningful, and if people will just take a moment to truly see it for what it is, they will understand it. Not just understand it, but feel it. A love like ours can’t be ignored.”
5 SHINING STARS!!
This was really a sweetly dark, intense and very entertaining short read that I greatly enjoyed. I never thought I would want to re-read this story so soon shortly after finishing it.
Author’s K Webster & Dani René painted a picture where instead of reading the book I found myself in a different world and smiling so much as I went through Cerys and James journey as if I was part of their story.
This book was absolutely amazing and I highly recommend it!!

James “Stalker” Darden is a man who will tell you when he wants something or someone, he goes after it until he has it. And then when he is done with it or them, he is done. He doesn’t do relationships, he has a bed partner when he wants them and then he walks away. While stalking one woman, he finds another that takes his focus off the other. And he is so consumed by this other woman he cannot believe that he wants to always be around her and absorb her sunshine.
Cerys “Sunshine” Youngblood has seen the man lurking around and watching her future step-mother. She has to warn him and after she does, he follows her to her apartment, being the stalker that he really is. After he leaves, he is all that Cerys can think about. He is intense, possessive, brooding, and she finds herself drawn to him.
Can Cerys change James’ attitude and make him happy? Will they be able to have a relationship that will last? Can James share her sunshine without taking it all away?
I liked this story but would have liked it a little longer. I liked the collaboration between K. Webster and Dani Rene and look forward to reading more from them. If you are looking for an insta-love quick read, then this one is for you. I hope you enjoy it too.

Sunshine and the Stalker was an intense, quick read. I’m normally not a fan of insta-love stories, but really enjoyed this.
The Stalker, James, is dark and forbidden, and decades older than Sunshine, Cerys. I hate to say this, but he wasn’t my favorite character. The tortured hero, he is sexy in his own right – and SO experienced – but he was a little too one-dimensional.
Honestly, though, I really liked Cerys. She’s spunky, fearless, and innocent yet not (does that make sense?). Her innocence isn’t a burden, it’s sweet.
Together though, they light up the pages! Perfect for one another, yet a taboo pairing. You can’t help but cheer for them.
This was a complete story and it totally sucked me in. I loved the steamy scenes (seriously yummy). I enjoyed watching Cerys mature and James focus, but mostly, I loved the quick escape that this story provided!

M/F Erotic, Taboo
This is a quick, erotic romance that involves a spunky virgin and an older stalker, for lack of a better term.
Cerys is full of life. She isn’t caught up in the latest fashion, doesn’t care that her father is dating a horrible woman, and is just pure and genuine. When she stumbles on James watching her dad’s girlfriend, she confronts him. That starts James’ pursuit of her.
James is not a hearts and romance guy. He likes the chase and conquering his prey. What he doesn’t expect is to be caught! However, it might have been the best thing to happen to him. He doesn’t just want nameless sex from Cerys. She intrigues him in a manner that hasn’t happened before.
This is a short read that is steamy at times. I do wish that we were given more on James. He felt very underdeveloped as a character. However, in the page constraints, it was a good time.

Dani Rene and K. Webster have put together a quick, insta-love, dirty little read. I’m not normally a fan of insta-love but for this story, it works.
James Darden only knows one way to get women. He stalks them until he can insert himself into their lives. He takes what he wants then he walks away. Cerys wasn’t even on James’ radar, but one chance meeting changed all that. Once he became aware of Cerys he was never letting her go.
Quick read that I couldn’t put down until the final page! Good read! Highly recommend when you need to get lost in a book for a bit. This is the perfect choice!

Wowza! Hold on to your unmentionables! This wickedly fast paced story of, dare I say, instalove is hot and taboo and oh so naughty!
James is a mess, a beautiful disaster, a monster in a bespoked Tom Ford suit. Older, not necessarily wiser. And his method of “dating” is not normal. But hell, normal is a dryer setting, and who wants normal in a story written by these two twisted authors!
Cerys (love the name!), is quirky in her own special way. Young, a bit broken but ready to take on the beast that lives within James.
This story is classic K. and seeing as though this is my first read from Dani, I can tell they are two peas in a pod! Loved the quick and dirty of it!
If you love these two authors work, you will absolutely love this story as well! Will we read more from them? There was a character I wouldn’t mind reading more about! Let hope shall we?
This quick hit is lusty, instalove with a side of “not my daughter”. Or as long as that’s not my daughter? I’m not sure which is better. This instalust novella is definitely unique. I was worried it would be shades of Notice but no….this Stalker is his own brand of Cray Cray. (I say that with love.)
Sunshine and the Stalker is hard to put into words. It’s quirky and left me with a smile. What else can I say!?!

If you are looking for a quick and fast paced insta love that borders on the creepy factor then this is a fab little novella sized book that you won’t want to miss.
There’s nothing much I can say with regards to the plot line because of the shortness of this book but Cerys and James will take you on a quick ride on the crazy train. Cerys is an 18 year old virgin and James likes to stalk his next sexual conquest. Cerys wasn’t his original target, but she definitely sidetracked him, leaving him in a dilemma because she intrigued him instantly which took him out of his usual MO.
The question is can he let go of the past and pursue his newfound obsession?
The only gripe I had with this and it’s just my personal preference is that it was to short for me and in turn I couldn’t connect with the characters. However that being said, K Webster & Dani Renee created a fab little hot under the collar read that will wow the majority of novella lovers.
Pure sexy escapism. Cerys catches James stalking her dad’s girlfriend and she confronts him. This leads to a crazy connection between Cerys and James. James sees himself as dark, always dominating and not good enough for someone like Cerys, sunshine. There is a great dynamic as Cerys works to break through the walls James uses to protect himself as they find their way to kinky, all-consuming sexual adventures. I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.
Sunshine and the Stalker by Dani Rene and K. Webster was a quick and sexy read. Though I have read K. Webster in the past and have loved her books, this was my first read by Dani Rene. A forbidden story about two people who probably should have never met but end up having a connection neither expected.
James is a rich and powerful older man. He is sexy and could have any woman he wants, but lately he needs have not been met. As a man who can be very arrogant, fixated and crude, he has found, what you would call, a different way to capture his bed partners per se. But he never saw his Sunshine coming.
Cerys is eighteen years old but does not really date. She sees her life as boring, but in reality, she is full of life. Though at times we saw a shy side to her, we also saw how strong she could be. James rolled into her life unexpectedly, but she also stood up for herself.
James is a stalker of sorts. He learns everything he can about a woman he wants and then beds her. He has no qualms about this, but when he is stalking his current interest, Cerys warns him the woman he wants is crazy and just like that, he is drawn to Cerys and there is no looking back for him.
Their story is not conventional, but there is no going back once they are in each other orbits. Their connection was instant and undeniable. Their age difference was of no consequences, at least to each other. I loved watching them fall.

Happy reading.
I knew these two author’s together was going to be amazing. I loved how they both work together. everything was perfect!
This is a quick, insta-love story mixed with crazy. Its hot and light dark. For me it was perfect!! I would have wanted to spend more time with these characters.
Cerys & James are perfect for each other. Cerys is kind of a loner. Her dad is always to busy for her. James grew tired of the normal dating routine. So he switches up game. He’s a bit crazy, a creeper if you ask me. But in all alpha-male form, he goes after what he wants.
Together they are perfect for each other. They fall quick for each other, but the process is so good! Nothing more HOT than a trouble, crazy stalker man after a young lonely girl! Perfection!!
I LOVE everything K Webster and Dani is new but so far the few books I’ve read have been amazing!
I LOVED this book, a bit to short for me, I would have enjoyed more. I never do get enough of K stories! LOL

What happens when two dark, taboo, and extremely sexy authors get together? Stalker Darden that’s what!! Sunshine and the Stalker, written by the combined efforts of K. Webster and Dani Rene, is short, hot and stalkery (that’s a word right? well it should be, it describes this perfectly)
Cerys and James. The virgin and the older man. The stalker and his prey. Cerys is quirky and unique, doing her own thing. James is dark and intense, with issues I wish were explored more… Give me more Stalker Darden please!!!
If you are a fan of either of these amazingly talented ladies you will not want to miss this one. All I can say is that these two do not disappoint. When will we get another co-write??
Sunshine and the Stalker was a fantastic, over-the-top, scorching hot naughty little read! Then again I would expect nothing less from this amazing duo of authors.
From the outside James Darden appears to have it all. Money, success and women have never been an issue for him. Once he sets his eye on his prize he goes after it until the day a ray of Sunshine stops him in his tracks. Cerys is young, beautiful, quirky and intrigues James from their first meeting. I loved their witty banter and how they balance each other. To say the attraction between them was fiery would be an understatement because these two together are downright explosive! I couldn’t get enough of them.
Sunshine and the Stalker is a sizzling instalove read that packs quite the punch. I was hooked from the first page and devoured it as quickly as I could. The more I read the more I wanted Stalker Darden’s attention to turn my way. I can’t wait to see what this dynamic duo comes up with next!
