This is book 2 in the Blue Bay Beach Romance series. Each book stands alone but reading them in order provides a deeper, richer experience. It is a sweet, small town, Hallmark style “clean and wholesome” small town romance, is faith-friendly, and contains a happily ever after.

Magical Musical Summer
I always had this fantasy of being in a famous band, maybe that is part of why I ALWAYS am up for a celebrity musician romance. I think I instantly fell in love with Carter. He has an image, and a reputation that he doesn’t care for, it is all an act. Behind the cameras, he is a moral, good person who has been playing a role for publicity for far too long. When Claudia asked him out on a dare, there was instant chemistry and the story unfolds from there. Don’t want to give away any spoilers, however, I will say, if you are looking for happily ever after, you won’t be disappointed.

Bad Boy Rocker learns to love music again
Summer with the Rock Star is the first book that I have read by Ellie Hall and I enjoyed it. The story-line is solid and the characters are well developed, both the main and supporting. The story itself is sweet and funny, along with deeper and poetic at times.
I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
Claudia and Carter are the perfect blend of opposites attract and finding connection where it counts. Their sweet romance was a testament to the fact that the best flings don’t end when summer does. In fact, they may not be flings at all.

This was an unique rockstar romance. It wasn’t what I expected but I really enjoyed it. The characters were good and I liked the side story that came about. I enjoyed watching Carter find himself.

I really enjoyed Carter and Claudia’s story if you are looking for a good clean sweet romance to curl up with then you cannot go wrong with this book it is a great little read and while it is the second book in the series it can easily be read as a standalone
Claudia dated Carter on a bet and because interviewing and working with him was her final master’s in music project. I didn’t like Carter at first because that was acting like a bad boy rock star for his alter ego Wilde. He realizes he doesn’t like that person and how he’s compromised his ideals for success. Claudia makes him enjoy music again. I loved Claudia’s aunt Margo, who was living with dementia, and her three dogs. The ladies of Coconut Cove Cafe are a riot and they have the crazy imitation request for their new waitresses to ask the first person they wait on for a date. What if that person is not boyfriend material? It will be interesting to see who they set up next.
