This book kept my interest from the first page of the book right through to the last page. I thought for sure that I had the murderer figured out by the middle of the book. Of course I was wrong!
It was OK but would not read it again
Nail bitter! All that going on in a hurricane! Wow! Interesting characters. Hard to put down. Good read to the end.
I enjoyed every book in the series.
I enjoyed this book.
I thought the characters were well written. I was surprised at the ending of who was the murderer.
Couldn.t put my Kendle down. Kept me intrigued.
Boring and never took off. Waste of time to read this book.
I have read the whole series, well worth the time. I read a lot and this author is one of the better ones. I will read other books from her.
A book featuring police officers who persevere despite problems in their personal lives. The reader will be eager to read others in this series.
We need a cop like Noah and his partner Connor in every town. Great police procedural with a solid plot and plenty of cop humor not at the expense of the victims.
Noah seems to have had personal demons with the loss of his pregnant wife in a car accident. He lives alone stuck with the tiny terror, Sweet Pea, his wife’s dog. Noah’s sister and kids keep an eye on him and unfortunately offer him tofu meals.
Connor, his partner, is occupied with his very pregnant wife and not in the mood for complicated crimes.
Lucky them, first a CEO dies and in a hot tub. Blame it on the hubby or the wine…..but more deaths occur and sadly, all point to the business of the dead CEO!
Noah is one determined dude but caring enough to secretly call and check on Connor’s wife. Noah goes head first into his cases and is injured more than anyone else…deathwish or just stubborn? A case to be solved, a young woman to protect, his partner to be kept safe till the baby arrives, and Noah needs to get a life.
Very enjoyable read and it is part if a series but I read this one and it is a solid stand alone read.
