This is the third book in this series. Hannah and Owen’s story. Hannah comes from very controlling parents. They are all business all the time. They want Hannah to marry someone that will further the business. Hannah wants to stay at the camp she helps run with her four best friends. Of course, Owen makes her swoon. They flirt, they stare until they finally get together. When things seem to be going well Owen has to leave with no reasons given. Hannah was crushed.
A great addition to the Wildflower series. I really like this series and hope it’s not over. I highly recommend this book.
Wow what another brilliant read from Jill Sanders! This book has everything – passion, laughter, drama, family, friends, and chaos! So much happens! In some ways, book 3 is the end of the first phase of Wildflowers. Some of the loose ends from the first two books are wrapped up in Owen and Hannah’s story. With two Wildflowers left, I can’t wait to see where Jill Sanders takes us! Love how each books tell us the same story from different point of vue but then they take it one step further as each brother fell in love. It was fascinating, beautiful and enthralling. Jill Sanders had me hooked from the first page until the very last one. Two thumbs up and a recommendation for you guys to grab yourselves a copy! Happy reading!!
I received a free copy for a honest review.
Summer Secrets is Owen and Hannah’s story and the conclusion of the Leo Costa mystery. Owen was clueless in the beginning of the book regarding Hannah. I think he thought he was doing the right thing walking away from Hannah but she was only hurt by him. Owen finally gave into his feelings for her and their relationship heat up.
There is drama, mystery, passion and laughter in this book. Even though there is still 2 more Wildflowers, this book wraps up the loose ends on the first 2 books answering all the questions regarding Leo Costa. Can’t wait to see what happens with the 2 last Wildflowers!
This is the third installment in this series and it is just as good as the first two! Hannah and Owen finally get together and even though there is an element of suspense with Owen’s business and the crazy woman from early volumes still lurking they still find time to fall in love. I really am enjoying this series. This could be read as a standalone but I would recommend reading the first two books first.
The third in this series did not disappoint. Another well written story that weaves several mysteries together while still being a romance. Hannah and Owen get back together in this one and deal with her controlling parents, his missing dad, a psycho ex employee and an explosion.
This series continues with a interesting twist and engaging new couple, was filled with witty dialog, heart racing turns and emotionally thrilling, action packed adventure. Was a fun read that I really enjoyed and I look forward to what will happen next in this fun series.
I loved Owen and Hannah’s story. We finally get to find out why their dad left and what had been going on.
Owen and Hannah together are wonderful. Can’t wait to see how the other two fall.
I truly enjoyed this book!
It’s captivating, romantic, sexy
& suspenseful. Hannah Owen

Once Hannah understood why Owen
& his brothers were working at the camp,
they couldn’t deny their attraction.
But someone was targeting Owen.
I loved everything about this

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
I know I promised myself to stop reading this saga after the nefarious second book. Buuuut the third one was there in NetGalley and I just had to pick it up. I mean, what could be the harm? It didn’t cost me a dime, so I should at least pick it with an opened mind. I’m glad my stubbonrness was short-lived, because the third part of the Wildflowers saga has been rather enjoyable. You never know, I guess…
We go back to our favourite camp for adults to meet Hannah better. She is one of the Wildflowers who has invested all her money and time to create a business. As it was hinted in the previous books, Owen is the Costa brother that makes her heart flutter. He is also very attracted to Hannah, but the issues with his father and the company are keeping him away. When some threats start pouring into his life that splash into hers, Owen must get closer to Hannah in order to protect her. Nothing is more romantic than running for your life…
If I need to use just one word to express how I feel about this book that word would be “surprsied“. The predecessor dind’t leave my opinion of this saga in a good place and I was afraid this third story was going to follow the same schema. You know, narrate the same story but from the point of view of another character. The story of the first book wasn’t that great to be enjoyable over and over again. I must admit I had my shields up when I picked Summer Secrets, ready to roll my eyes in front of the first symptom of an encore. And my eyes I rolled. The first chapter is just what I was afraid of and I whined a little bit reading it. So imagine my surprise when the following chapters discard the retelling and dare to start a brand new story. My interest was picked almost immediately.
Something I liked from the first book was the soft mystery. Something that, sadly, was barely used in the second book. But this time it comes back with a fierceness that has made me a believer again. Don’t get me wrong. It’s not a nail biting thriller that keeps your heart beating hard until the last page. It is just a calm undercurrent where the story floats comfortable. A trick to make the romantic aspect of the book shine brigther. But a very welcoming trick. Yes, the author sometimes tries too hard to keep the mystery interesting. Her attempts to misdirect the reader are painfully obvious, making the culprit’s identity so clear that the fact the good guys didn’t realize about it sooner is just laughable. Dozens of smart and sexy people in that camp and neither of them was capable of putting two plus two together. At least it was a a fun pleasure to read how wrong their mental cogwheels were spinning.
The characters are more or less the same as in the previous books. From the two of them, Hannah would be the one I dislike more. I still like her, though; but she is a damsel in distress waaaay too often. That makes her look a bit dependant of Owen. I would also have loved to witness much more about the drama with her parents. It should have been treated more thoroughly for the ending we get. Owen is a character that is a tad better developed. At least I finished the book with a feeling that he had gone places emotionally. He is very hardworking and responsible in all the aspects of his life: job, love, friends, family… I truly admire the way he treats Hannah, gifting us with some scenes that are rather sweet and made me smile broadly. He read a book for her… no better indicator to spot a great guy.
So, kudos to the author for telling a new story when she could have gone the easy way again. I think this third story should be the model the rest of the books of this saga should look up to. It is not perfect, though. It still annoys me a great deal how young the characters are for their experience. Sometimes it doesn’t make any sense. Word of advice: ignore everytime the author mentions ages or any other temporal reference. If you keep track of them you will end with a messy timeline that could give you a migraine.
I am glad to finally get to the truth of what was going on with the Costa’s father. Owen had walked away from Hannah and she wasn’t sure if she could trust him again. Now his father is back and someone is trying to kill Owen and his father. Hannah just can’t stand the thought of losing Owen like that. As the Wildflowers help the Costa’s to find the person responsible, Owen and Hannah know they can’t live without each other. Then there is the other threat. Who is behind it all? They have to find out quickly before someone dies.
Hannah Rodgers enjoys running the adult summer camp with her four best friends and her attraction to employee Owen Rhodes is a plus. When things go awry and she discovers that Owen was working at the camp, with his two brothers, in order to track down their missing father she is angry that he lied to her. Owen’s real last name is Costa and he is not only searching for his missing father, but also the large sum of money that is missing. When he has to leave the camp, Hannah wonders what went wrong. When they reconnect later, how can she trust him? Owen’s family troubles come to a head and Hannah is caught up in the situation. Can they finally solve all of their problems and take that second chance at love? I received an advance review copy at no cost and without obligation for an honest review. (by paytonpuppy)
This is the third book in this wonderful series and I know this because I went and bought the other two after reading this one I loved it so much.
Hannah is a member of a group of girlfriends who call them selves the wilfdflower’s they have all clubbed together to buy an old summer camp and turned it into a camp for adults. During this time they have had help from the hunky Costa brothers and each of her friends as fallen for a brother (the other two stories) now she is realising that Owen Costa is pretty special in his own right. As the two of them start to fall in love she will have to battle her controlling parents and he will need to try to solve the mystery of his missing father and the money from the company With sop much going on will they be able to give their love the time it deserves.
Heavy on the romance with some romantic suspense!
Hannah Rodgers and of her friends called the Wallflowers inherited a dilapidation summer camp so they decided to fix up the space as a summer camp for adults. The reopening of the camp had been at a perfect time because she needed get away from her parents and the running of her life. Owen Costa and his brothers are still looking for their dad and the missing money from the family investment company with Owen named as president temporarily while still helping at the summer camp with his brothers occasionally.
Hannah liked Owen when she first met him and now that her friends were getting serious with his brothers, she realized that Owen was much more than she thought. Hannah and Owen start to fall in love and with everything else that is happening and their love isn’t smooth.
I liked where each of the books in the Wildflowers series adds more to the story when each of the Wildflowers falls in love and I’m looking forward to reading the next book about Scarlett.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book from NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
This is book three in the Wildflower series. It’s the story of Hannah and Owen. Hannah, with her four friends, run a adult summer camp. Where Owen and his brothers came to work, under false last names. But soon they found out that the brothers were looking for their missing father. In this book, Hannah and Owen grow closer. With threats and dangerous things happening, they try to find out who is behind it all.
I really enjoyed this installment of this story. I read book two, Elle and Liams story but haven’t read book one. This book was written well, and kept you interested. The beginning was a little confusing as it was sort of recalling what the characters went through in the previous books, so a person might be confused if they’d not read them. But over all it was a really good story and the characters where likable, and believable
Another page turning book in the Wildflower girls lives with twists and turns, who dunnits, and lots of hawt chemistry between our guy and gal. Can these two stay alive to love each other another day…Loved it!!
I love this series by Jill! This one gets 5 wildflowers!
Jill takes you on a ride with four friends who take over their old summer camp. This story revolves around Hannah & Owen, and what a story you will get! I even missed the second book, but I had no problem following along with the story line!
I enjoyed reading along and enjoying their story, Jill will have you hanging on the edge of your seat in this one trying to figure out who is causing trouble with the Costa family!
Grab this one asap! Looking forward to the next book!
Hannah and her best friends Zoey, Elle, Scarlett, and Aubrey have been friends since they were 11 when they met at a summer camp in Florida. They call themselves the ‘wildflowers.’ Each of them have wealthy parents who try to control their lives in one or more ways, and their friendship saves each of them in different ways. It also gives them the courage to stand on their own and forge this new business–a summer camp for adults, and out from under the control of their parents. It’s the same place they all met at as pre-teens, only now it has been repurposed. The camp grounds are filled with private cabins and plenty of activities for guests, with an amazing chef to run the kitchen and incredible themed social events for guests. They hire the three Costa brothers to do work at the camp, only the Costas are there under false pretenses. When the truth comes out, there are some hurt feelings, but eventually they all work it out.
Owen is the oldest Costa brother, and he falls for Hannah, but leaves her in a lurch after he gets some delicate information about Hannah and a phone call regarding his father and his business on the same night. He high-tails it back to his business office without even saying goodbye to Hannah, which leaves her feeling vulnerable and hurt. A month later, she runs into him again at his office, and he tries to explain what happened, but she’s not really open to hearing it. Needless to say, things finally work out, but not without a few major issues along the way.
This book was fun and a fairly quick read. The characters are well-thought out for the most part. Owen’s motivation for leaving in the first place is somewhat skewed, as he runs scared. He glosses over this issue, without really dealing with it, and then he is suddenly ready to pursue a relationship with Hannah. This didn’t ring true to this reader. Regardless, events conspire to bring these two together and they discover that they are a good team.
There is some intriguing suspense during the last half of the book that keeps the reader hooked on the story. The villain is fairly easy to spot, in spite of a red herring that is thrown into the mix. These protagonists are put in danger a time or two, but justice is served in the end. There are several references to additional storylines that flow out from this book. Apparently each of the 5 women get their own tale, as two of the wildflowers have already found their HEA within this book. This book can be read as a stand-alone, and there are definite references to events that have occurred regarding the wildflowers and the Costa brothers. It might be nice to read them in order, but the story still flows, regardless.
Summer Secrets is Book 3 in the Wildflowers series by Jill Sanders. I recommend reading these stories in order and if you can, back to back. Even though I read them in order, it had been some time since I read Book 2 and it took me a bit to get back in the swing of things as this story literally just picks up where the other books leave off with very little overlap.
This was an enjoyable romance with a dash of action and a touch of suspense. Even though I figured out early on who was guilty, it was certainly entertaining and kept me engaged throughout. There are still 2 more wildflowers so hopefully there is more to come.
Owen and Hannah were amazing! I couldn’t wait to hear their story and the conclusion of the Leo Costa saga. After the tension build up between Owen and Hannah in the previous books, I was excited to see how their relationship would play out. But don’t worry if you haven’t read the previous books – I think you’ll pick up the story without any troubles (I’d recommend reading them in order to meet everyone though!).
Owen has buried his head in the sand a bit when it comes to Hannah and is utterly clueless at the beginning of the book. I don’t think he realized that walking away was not as noble as he intended. And Hannah certainly didn’t see it that way! They definitely had some bumps at the beginning to work out but once they did, oofta! Where’s the fire extinguisher when you need it!
The more we learn about Hannah’s upbringing, my heart breaks for her a little more. I loved that Owen seemed to want to erase those bad memories even as he had trouble comprehending her parents’ actions. Owen’s constant struggle with his father missing, being trusted with the company, and being good at a career that he doesn’t love was a realistic portrait of learning how to balance the responsibility of family with the desire to just be happy. As he spends more time with Hannah, who is genuinely happy with the life her and the Wildflowers have created, he starts to wonder what it would take to be happy.
This book has everything – passion, laughter, drama, family, friends, and chaos that requires some police help. So much happens! In some ways, book 3 is the end of the first phase of Wildflowers. Some of the loose ends from the first two books are wrapped up in Owen and Hannah’s story. With two Wildflowers left, I can’t wait to see where Jill Sanders takes us!
